As somebody who's unaware of German/Bavarian culture tradition, I find the hotel homey and cozy. the people at the restaurant were very accommodating, and they always serve one of the best coffees in Alpenhof. it is one of those hidden gems in Augsburg.

I travel a lot to Augsburg for a work, it is the nearest to Faurecia, so for me it is the best option. Great service, great cousin, always clean and really nice rooms. I can recommend this hotel to everyone!

Price/performance was not appropriate. For the cheapest rooms 100€ without breakfast and rooms in 70's style, we have already stayed better. The staff was narrowly staffed and according to waiting time for everything. Breakfast would have been 16.90€/pers plus. Since we liked the bakery Wolf 500m away much better. Otherwise well located for transit from north to south.

Can I agree with the previous speaker. Rooms are clean and large. The bathroom was modern for me. The attached restaurant is very good from the food.

Unfortunately, the service was not so special.
We had a meeting from the company and the staff was overwhelmed. In order to pay for food and drinks or even to get them at all, you had to wait unbearably long even if nothing was going on (>20min). And how some of it has been dealt with with such a rather cash-rich and international clientele was not professional.

I don’t see how this is a 4 star hotel. It is really a 3 star. There is no minibar there is no roomservice, the swimmingpool is located in another building and the staff is not really serviceminded. It really average.

Perfect. Location (outside of the city center) with great public communication (train stop next to the hotel) Place is quiet (unlike city center) Delicious food (breakfast, dinner) Clean room with everything you need. Will book again.

The hotel is beautiful and the idea is not bad but the service is not very impressed and the staff are not very friendly.

Sehr schöne Location für eine Fortbildung. Super Essen und genug Parkplätze in der Nähe. Der Park and Ride ist gleich um die Ecke, falls doch mal die Parkplätze am Hotel voll werden sollten.

From the outside the hotel looks very old, but inside it looks quite good. Rooms are right reasonable with nice bathroom and large TV. Food and service unfortunately left something to be desired.

Room was large with a sitting area with a couch. The room was clean and modern. The staff was friendly and professional. I suggest their restaurant. Meals were great. A bit expensive but worthy. Breakfast was good, the area was in the restaurant and there were several kitchen staff members constantly monitoring the breakfast items. Also… music in the toilet!

A beautiful Hotel and can recommend it to anyone. The reception room and the food is totally friendly, beautiful, a dream would Book immediately again

Conveniently located on the highway. Which has a good value for money. It has a small gym and a well-equipped spa area, which is no longer the youngest but is absolutely sufficient for relaxing after a long drive and working day.
I like to come back here!
The food in the restaurant was delicious and the waitresses both evening and late breakfast just before ten courteous and attentive — had read otherwise in the recessions!

In the beginning it was very confusing to find the reception or the main entrance which was not a problem.
We were very impressed with our stay, the rustic double room, very clean, the really very friendly staff, the whole ambiance it was super tuned and fits perfectly.
Since we were there with children during the Easter season, you might have been able to do something for the little guests, for example, a colourfully cooked egg for breakfast or a Schokllolli that would have been a highlight.
But we really can highly recommend this hotel and will book this hotel again on our next visit.

A well-run, interesting hotel with witty design ideas. The location on the outskirts makes it easy to reach by car. Many parking spaces available. The rooms are very quiet.
Breakfast is very plentiful.
The price/performance ratio is good.

From the first external impression one should not be frightened. Inside the hotel is really nicely designed, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are nice and clean.

A great hotel with class ambiance in good location.

Very comfortable hotel with welcoming staff and an excellent breakfast buffet. Amazing spa complex with steam room, four saunas, swimming pool etc. Decor is a slightly odd mixture of old fashioned and modern; dining options are somewhat limited: in house restaurant is delicious, but quite pricey and a very limited selection. The only other option nearby is McDonald's, or take a 20 min tram ride to the city centre.

Large room, friendly staff, good location and great wellness with pool.

It's a hotel where we always have our sleep overs when travelling to Austria or Italy. It's halfway when travelling from the Netherlands. Good food in the evening, perfect breakfast in the morning. Spacious rooms, clean, friendly staff.

Hotel in itself beautiful. Rooms very old-fashioned, my taste not met. Some optical defects present. What was quite annoying was the question of whether you are a hotel guest… When eating, in the swimming pool (cold water). Again and again came the question of which room number, but otherwise very friendly helpful staff.

The hotel is very well maintained and decorated with attention to detail. Friendly staff, two very good restaurants and a beautiful spa area complete the successful total package.

In my room, I had no Wi-Fi. Because I it. Much needed, another room was assigned to promptly and without me writing my bachelor thesis. My praise.
Otherwise I felt I very comfortable, the staff was friendly and attentive and the breakfast very tasty.

An old farm very nicely renovated into a chic hotel. :) in the lobby two were no cats that have welcomed me right. Room was fine but nothing special. (I had standard single room) I can recommend but it.

The Alpenhof is a hotel in the years come. The staff is friendly and helpful, the restaurant offers a decent kitchen. While the 70's style in the restaurant and in the lobby certainly has a certain charm, the shortcomings in some rooms for a hotel of this category are annoying.

This Hotel is really really bad. The waiters are before met Team down and made angeschriehen. When I was with an operation to chat with me, told me this, that the staff is paused, 14 Hours and more work without something for the Overtime. I was at a meeting in the house and our water bottles appear to have been "reused". When I went to the toilet, I could see the operation of the half-full water bottles from our room together, tipped over and in the next meeting room was. I have no more words for such a management.

Good location but my room was overlooking a warehouse. There are better hotels in the area.
