SPA Hotels in Centre

This was a great pit stop as we drove through France, the hotel is obviously the pride and joy of the owner, it’s clean with great rooms and very friendly staff.

I went with a baby and a dog and everything was very organized to welcome them. The treatment of guests is spectacular, they are attentive, polite and kind. Really better than many other hotels.

I just ended a stayed in Madame de Montespan, a beautiful Queen alike room! We were really welcomed, everywhere looks like a movie theme… the cuisine of the chef : so amazing!

For me, this was the best place to stay in the Loire Valley.

On first sight from the road, I was wondering what I had booked. The strangest looking hotel I'd ever seen. The greeting from the receptionist was the most welcoming I have ever recieved.

We stayed 2 nights in a family room with terrace. The hotel is less than 5 min away from the parc Puy du Fou.

We were on a long drive through France and found Fleur de Loire through the Relais Chateau program and my what a lovely find it was!
The service from start to finish was excellent.

Any stars lower than 5 stars is insufficient. They welcomed us at the door. The beautiful location, quality in service is just amazing and magical. The food is top quality.

Situated in the centre of Saumur, this is an ideal place to stay when wondering around Saumur and exploring the sites of the Loire.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable.

Excellent location on the river just a few minutes from the old town.
Very helpful reception who easily and quickly sorted our bike storage.

Staying at Château La Comtesse was absolutely magical! The place feels like stepping back in time full of history and charm.

Bottom Line Upfront:
Very nice 4 star + B&B in an old mansion in Samur with a lovely ambience and service. Including a surprisingly well equipped spa.
Would recommend.

We enjoyed a stunning 2 night stay here in the beautiful surroundings and buildings of the Chateau.

First class. Fab food. Wonderful service. Creamy white carpets (hope they stay that way! ) Beautifully refurbished. Elegant. Not a fan of dogs in breakfast room though.

Our first visit to Chabenet was memorable for all the right reasons. Our room was large, comfortable and very quiet.

Friendly atmosphere.
Excellent restaurant.

Went there for our first meeting anniversary. The hotel prepared our room perfectly. The restaurant in the evening was also very tasty except the dessert that was way too sweet.

Amazing place with unique atmosphere and sustainable, digital detox philosophy.

I stayed as a photographer with my clients for a special proposal orgnanized at the Chateau with the cooperation of the team and everything was just perfect!

We spent a wonderful 3 nights here with our two young children. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and we made full use of the various facilities.

Overlooking the Loire River, the hotel is perfectly located for a stay in Saumur.

One of the best Mercure hotels we have stayed in. The lounge area is very stylish and comfortable and there is a beautiful terrace right on the river.

We have been using Logis Hotels for many years and always enjoyed the experience.

I stayed overnight at Hotel Relais de la Mothe last week, as part of a marathon trip through France.

Superb staff and service, scenery is amazing but the rooms and hardware are really outdated and tend to be cold in winter. It was probably splendid in the late 70s but needs a massive upgrade today.

Stayed in the chateau as we have on several other occasions, every room is different and true to its origins. Restaurant and bar as good as ever. Dog friendly to boot.

We spent two nights at L’Aubinière in Amboise and were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the experience.

We have been visiting L’Aubiniere for a few years as it’s a great hotel to stop en route to and from SW France. The hotel is in a quiet village about 10-15 mins from Amboise.

Our stay at Domaine de Primard at the end of December was absolutely wonderful. We stayed for several days, and everything about the experience felt thoughtful and welcoming.

I stayed here one night on my way back from Normandy. Really a nice and peaceful property with a lovely quiet garden.

The hotel was great, with fine dining in both restaurants. Rooms were very nice and well laid out. Overall very charming. Service was good generally in the hotel, less so in the spa.

An incredibly beautiful hotel. Staying here is a real pleasure — you can truly rest and relax, surrounded by nature, peace, great aesthetics, and a cozy atmosphere.

Excellent location. Clean, comfortable room. Great sauna, steam room, spa and pool area. Fantastic breakfast area. The decor and rooms are a bit quirky but it makes it all the more inviting.

Our stay at La Marine de Loire was met with exceptional service and kindness from the start. We were greeted at arrival with early access to our room and all we could need and more to enjoy the spa.

Period 1925 decor hotel with public rooms and 10 bedrooms decorated in style.

This small-scale hotel is a gem, a unique place to stay. A must-stay if you're planning to visit Saumur. A beautiful and well-maintained city palace; it's a wonder it's so well preserved.

Les Hautes Roches is an exceptional place. We came to celebrate our anniversary, and the attention to detail and service were outstanding.

We originally booked for one night but enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay another. For the second night we had to move rooms, but we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade.

Beautifully restored history Inn. Staff friendly, incredibly quiet and comfortable rooms. Lovely grounds, walking distance to the downtown area and many restaurants.

This hotel is beautiful! It is located just a block walk from Chateau D'Amboise and all the great restaurants and shops. The rooms are lovely, with comfortable accommodations and spa-like bathroom.

The main building’s room we were offered offered geothermal air conditioning… which was not great for the heat wave we had… so front desk upgraded us to the back area suites with standard air units …

Our stay was wonderful! The hotel exceeded all our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Exceptional service. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay.

Beautiful place to stay! Came across this place when desperately needing accommodation and we are so pleased we did. It's a gem!

We loved this place. Gauthier was so attentive and everything was perfect. Very quiet, very stylish and an amazing experience. Our best place so far in France, and we have been to many places.

Very courteous and prompt service on arrival from valet parking our car to easy check in. It’s a nice hotel — and we had a room with a view of the castle.

Awesome location with the best view on this magnificent castle. Cannot get enough of this view which become private after visit hours.
Great service with valet and private parking.

Our room was clean with a great view — a bit tight for unpacking though. We came for a wedding and ended up exploring every corner of the property.

We chose the Hermitage as we knew that as guests you have the possibility to visit the abbey outside visitors hours.

Beautiful property in a quiet area, with three beaux villages nearby. Our room had a view of the garden and the hills beyond.

A wonderful stay! This was our second stay at Mestre and I would highly recommended the hotel. Welcoming staff, beautiful hotel with old world charm, great facilitis and set in lovely countryside.
