Everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, there is nothing we could fault. We booked a cave room and it was huge, it had a large lounge and large bedroom.

Wonderful stay in this unusual troglodyte setting. The room, service and restaurant were all excellent.

Tricky access, hidden in the street scene. Appeared to be adequate parking behind security gates for which an access code is required. 2 EV charging bays.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Great breakfast and comfortable rooms.

I echo all of the positive comments written here. The Hôtel la Brèche was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay while in Amboise for several nights.

Due to a communication problem the restaurant only had three hours notice that my wife was vegetarian.

An absolutely beautiful chateau situated in the rolling green Loire valley. Amboise is the nearest town and has spectacular architecture and history, not to mention wonderful food.

We recently hired the chateau for our wedding (Thursday — Sunday) such a beautiful setting, gardens, breakfast, pool, caterer facilities and rooms were of a really high quality.

We loved everything about this Logis Hotel! It was the best one from our Loire Valley & sologne trip.

We had a wonderful 6-day stay at Hôtel du Cygne in Bracieux during a mother-daughter trip. The hotel is full of charm and very well maintained.

We loved our stay at The Chateau de Noizay! The pool and gardens are amazing and we spent some nice time reading in the garden at the end of the day. We stayed in the Castelnau Room which was perfect.

Very nice experience to sleep in a castle. 5 star service and amenities.

After a Very stressful day and situation, I found this wonderful hotel by chance, when I arrived, a very kind and caring young woman was on the night shift, it was already 02:30am my wife and child

Staff was incredibly accommodating. Slightly older updated property right opposite the station but extremely quiet. Bedding was clean white cotton, very comfy and cozy.

We arrived at around 11 a. M. And parked the car in the secure parking. We returned mid-afternoon after visiting Saumur and its impressive chateau.

This was a great pit stop as we drove through France, the hotel is obviously the pride and joy of the owner, it’s clean with great rooms and very friendly staff.

I went with a baby and a dog and everything was very organized to welcome them. The treatment of guests is spectacular, they are attentive, polite and kind. Really better than many other hotels.

I just ended a stayed in Madame de Montespan, a beautiful Queen alike room! We were really welcomed, everywhere looks like a movie theme… the cuisine of the chef : so amazing!

For me, this was the best place to stay in the Loire Valley.

The rooms are excellent. However, if you are situated at the end of the site of a motel type property.

A wonderful place nestled on a quiet street next to the centre-ville. Comfortable beds. Clean room with extra pillows. Friendly service and a great breakfast for 10 euros.

We stayed here on our way to Spain. Easy, comfortable hotel. Room was very small but had everything we needed. Kind personnel, though hard to communicate in English. Area seemed safe :)

Gabriel Hotel is right on the river in Chinon just below the chateau. It is a charming small hotel run by a friendly couple who couldn't have been nicer, nor more helpful.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel felt like a hidden gem in the heart of Angers.

We had the pleasure of spending three nights at the Markus. The location could not be more perfect for exploring Angers. The atmosphere is classy but not pretentious, tasteful, and very welcoming.

We had an excellent and very comfortable stay at Les Châteaux des Forges, a cool and quirky hotel set in beautiful grounds just off the A11, only a short distance from Angers.

The hotel is very lovely and set in a lovely location.
Easy to park and easy to get into town.

A lovely hotel in a very convenient location with easy parking next door. Great for a short stop if driving in France from the UK and you need an overnight stop.

We had a most enjoyable stay in Novotel Angers. All staff we met were, without exception, so friendly and welcoming, and made recommendations for our short stay in their beautiful city.

We spent an enchanting few days at the Chateau de Brou. It is stunningly beautiful, in an almost magical setting.

We loved the dovecote accommodation, so private, so tastefully decorated and so spacious. The location was perfect for our loire valley tour and its' many chateaux.

On first sight from the road, I was wondering what I had booked. The strangest looking hotel I'd ever seen. The greeting from the receptionist was the most welcoming I have ever recieved.

We stayed 2 nights in a family room with terrace. The hotel is less than 5 min away from the parc Puy du Fou.

We were on a long drive through France and found Fleur de Loire through the Relais Chateau program and my what a lovely find it was!
The service from start to finish was excellent.

Any stars lower than 5 stars is insufficient. They welcomed us at the door. The beautiful location, quality in service is just amazing and magical. The food is top quality.

Situated in the centre of Saumur, this is an ideal place to stay when wondering around Saumur and exploring the sites of the Loire.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable.

Excellent location on the river just a few minutes from the old town.
Very helpful reception who easily and quickly sorted our bike storage.

Staying at Château La Comtesse was absolutely magical! The place feels like stepping back in time full of history and charm.

Bottom Line Upfront:
Very nice 4 star + B&B in an old mansion in Samur with a lovely ambience and service. Including a surprisingly well equipped spa.
Would recommend.

Nice hotel, good rooms and beds, very helpful service even very early in the morning when we wanted to leave.

We love this unassuming hotel on the outskirts of Saumur. Great parking, rooms, pool and restaurant. We have stayed every year for the last 8 years and will no doubt stay again.

Just of the A85 highway this hotel is located just outside Saumur. The price quality is excellent and as a bonus it has a gated private parking.

The location is nice and calm. Family friendly hotel. Big and comfortable room (plenty of room options). Bed quality is more than perfect. Staff are helpful.

Everything — a gem of a find! Beautiful setting — peaceful and calm. Fabulous room (a chalet tour from opposite the chateau), huge bathroom, outdoor seating and air conditioning throughout.

Such a hidden gem that we are so delighted to have discovered. A really good example of French hospitality at its best. A warm welcome and beautiful decor really made our stay feel special.
