Hotels in Centre with a Pool

An absolutely beautiful chateau situated in the rolling green Loire valley. Amboise is the nearest town and has spectacular architecture and history, not to mention wonderful food.

We recently hired the chateau for our wedding (Thursday — Sunday) such a beautiful setting, gardens, breakfast, pool, caterer facilities and rooms were of a really high quality.

We loved everything about this Logis Hotel! It was the best one from our Loire Valley & sologne trip.

We had a wonderful 6-day stay at Hôtel du Cygne in Bracieux during a mother-daughter trip. The hotel is full of charm and very well maintained.

We loved our stay at The Chateau de Noizay! The pool and gardens are amazing and we spent some nice time reading in the garden at the end of the day. We stayed in the Castelnau Room which was perfect.

Very nice experience to sleep in a castle. 5 star service and amenities.

Very good hotel, the service from the staff was exceptional, we will definitely stop there again.

After a Very stressful day and situation, I found this wonderful hotel by chance, when I arrived, a very kind and caring young woman was on the night shift, it was already 02:30am my wife and child

This was a great pit stop as we drove through France, the hotel is obviously the pride and joy of the owner, it’s clean with great rooms and very friendly staff.

I went with a baby and a dog and everything was very organized to welcome them. The treatment of guests is spectacular, they are attentive, polite and kind. Really better than many other hotels.

I just ended a stayed in Madame de Montespan, a beautiful Queen alike room! We were really welcomed, everywhere looks like a movie theme… the cuisine of the chef : so amazing!

For me, this was the best place to stay in the Loire Valley.

We had an excellent and very comfortable stay at Les Châteaux des Forges, a cool and quirky hotel set in beautiful grounds just off the A11, only a short distance from Angers.

The hotel is very lovely and set in a lovely location.
Easy to park and easy to get into town.

We were on a long drive through France and found Fleur de Loire through the Relais Chateau program and my what a lovely find it was!
The service from start to finish was excellent.

Any stars lower than 5 stars is insufficient. They welcomed us at the door. The beautiful location, quality in service is just amazing and magical. The food is top quality.

Situated in the centre of Saumur, this is an ideal place to stay when wondering around Saumur and exploring the sites of the Loire.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable.

Excellent location on the river just a few minutes from the old town.
Very helpful reception who easily and quickly sorted our bike storage.

Staying at Château La Comtesse was absolutely magical! The place feels like stepping back in time full of history and charm.

Bottom Line Upfront:
Very nice 4 star + B&B in an old mansion in Samur with a lovely ambience and service. Including a surprisingly well equipped spa.
Would recommend.

Nice hotel, good rooms and beds, very helpful service even very early in the morning when we wanted to leave.

We love this unassuming hotel on the outskirts of Saumur. Great parking, rooms, pool and restaurant. We have stayed every year for the last 8 years and will no doubt stay again.

We enjoyed a stunning 2 night stay here in the beautiful surroundings and buildings of the Chateau.

First class. Fab food. Wonderful service. Creamy white carpets (hope they stay that way! ) Beautifully refurbished. Elegant. Not a fan of dogs in breakfast room though.

Situated in a great location, quiet and peaceful, overlooking a stream and pasture yet 10 minutes from centre of Amboise. Beautiful rooms in outhouse with fireplaces. Fabulous views.

The property is beautifully maintained, from the inspiring gardens to every little detail, surrounded by a truly cinematic landscape.

I visited this hotel last April during the spring season.

A very nice stay in this historic building, the courtyard area with pool has a lovely atmosphere and garden. Rooms are comfortable and a good size.

Our first visit to Chabenet was memorable for all the right reasons. Our room was large, comfortable and very quiet.

Friendly atmosphere.
Excellent restaurant.

For a one night stop it's a good hotel. Loved the breakfast (I read some negative reviews but there was ample choice, nice breakfast room as well). Pool and small gym area are a nice extra.

Friendly staff, good sized and very convenient family room.

As French nationals living in Sweden, when we go on holiday to France we always look for an exceptional place to stay that will remain engraved in our memories.

Just like a dream!

Went there for our first meeting anniversary. The hotel prepared our room perfectly. The restaurant in the evening was also very tasty except the dessert that was way too sweet.

Amazing place with unique atmosphere and sustainable, digital detox philosophy.

Stunning chateau in the countryside. Beautiful tennis court, swimming pool, and grounds. The hotel rooms were spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our stay was pleasant. The room and bed were comfortable. The park and swimming pool area are beautiful, and the atmosphere is indeed very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was also good.

I stayed as a photographer with my clients for a special proposal orgnanized at the Chateau with the cooperation of the team and everything was just perfect!

We spent a wonderful 3 nights here with our two young children. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and we made full use of the various facilities.

We were impressed with the service provided by the receptionist called Zaf! He was always helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to help us with any of our queries.

Very nice hotel, staff very helpful. Highly recommend.

Great family time, we did enjoyed the small and comfortable rooms, and played a lot in the clean swimming pool.

Stunning quiet enclave in rural France. Excellent service, plenty for kids to do. Lovely pool. Spotless & cosy cabin. Lovely optional breakfast and simple but tasty evening meals.

What a brilliant find. So glad we were booked in here during our cycling holiday. So friendly and helpful. Great safe storage for our bikes, also secure parking fir cars.

What a lovely spot. The reception we received was truly exceptional. Secure parking for bikes (and cars). Rooms are full of character and are really comfortable.

Superb staff and service, scenery is amazing but the rooms and hardware are really outdated and tend to be cold in winter. It was probably splendid in the late 70s but needs a massive upgrade today.

Stayed in the chateau as we have on several other occasions, every room is different and true to its origins. Restaurant and bar as good as ever. Dog friendly to boot.

We spent two nights at L’Aubinière in Amboise and were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the experience.

We have been visiting L’Aubiniere for a few years as it’s a great hotel to stop en route to and from SW France. The hotel is in a quiet village about 10-15 mins from Amboise.
