I grew up here in Saumur and boy it hasnt change a bit, you are always welcome with open arm, makes me wonder why I left? Anyway after nearly 30 years away and shedding a lot of tears, im so glad to be a Saumurois and to have been brought up here Also the hotel ibis great and friendly staff and the cat lilly, perfect in all areas.

Staff excellent and helpful. Room is on the small side as expected with this type of hotel. Breakfast of buffet type with something for everyone. Great location adjacent to the railway station and a 10 minute walk from Saumur town centre.

Room with view on the castle is just beautiful, everything is clean and new.
The bed was just gigantic (220 x 200).
The breakfast was perfect, it lacked nothing.

Good hotel, with a recent, modern and colorful decoration. Bed huge and comfortable, good quality bathroom. Breakfast is rich, friendly staff, overall a great stay.
Attention, well that Saumur Castle is visible in the distance, it is the station and his avenue that are under windows. Off-season, no worry of noise, the windows and walls insulate quite well from the little traffic and few occupants of adjacent rooms. Remains to be seen if it's enough in summer.
Strange also, the old lift a little brutal, only equipment not renovated seems afflicted with a certain cellar smell which is stalled at the end of the winter… It's a good thing we stay not long.
In General, a good quality / price, location quite good in the city, very good for a short stay.

We spend a great night in a superb room with Castle view January 2, 2015, perfect home we thank the kindness and availability of constance, who was able to find us a great restaurant troglodyte. Our next visit is on we will ask our valisse has hotel bravo has all the staff.
