Very quiet hotel and well located. Very pleasant view of the Loire and the castle of Saumur. Non-paid outdoor parking and secure parking in the basement for a fee. Excellent breakfast.

The view from the bar/lounge and some rooms is beautiful but that's it… very disappointed given the price charged … Very unpleasant smell in the room, no staff at the front desk at 11.30pm and all the customers' cards were demagnetized, breakfast staff should undergo a "smile friendly" training. In short a 4 that does not deserve them at all! and what about the access to the spa area which was impossible because of work but the client did not have the info!

Stunning view of the Château and river.

This is one of my favourite hotels. It’s not especially luxurious but has some beautiful views over the river and of the castle and isn’t the price of a 5 *.
There is parking, a few spots outside the hotel and a large barrier controlled lot just around the corner.
It’s a short walk over the bridge into town and there are a few shops and restaurants on the island.

Nice hotel except there is no onsite restaurant. They do offer a breakfast buffet. Rooms and bathrooms are nice and we chose the side without a river view. Nice main level balcony overlooking the Loire and Saumaur Chateau.

A receptionist with a great sense of humour made the start of our visit rather special. Choose a room with a river view, it is worth every extra penny/cent. Breakfast quite good but could do with a bit more fruit.

This is a wonderful hotel with an excellent staff. If you are visiting France and finished with Paris take some time and see why this was the center of the world in the 14th century. If you stay at the hotel this is the view at breakfast.

A small hotel by the river, a calm atmosphere, a good breakfast.

The location of the hotel on the Loire facing the Chateau influences to qualify as a nice hotel this property, moreover very well kept, clean, quiet near the city center.

Good location, in front of the castle with great views. Comfortable bed but small rooms. Breakfast is good enough.

Very nice hotel located on the banks of the Loire. A real pleasure to have breakfast on the terrace with the view of the Château de Saumur. The little Plus, a small gym with rowing machine, bike and treadmill open until 10pm. The only downside is the breakfast is a bit pricey.

Hotel very well located with a great view of day as night pleasant room very easy parking good friendly and competent employee up to the maintenance staff very efficient concierge service. Only small snag it is better not be too greedy at breakfast to not be looking with one eye!

Flats: — on breakfast, the raisin breads and chocolate breads are a bit dry.
— On the household. Mercury puts on posters to limit the change of towels, to help the planet… So we respect it since we stayed two nights. Surprise on our return, everything had been changed, but the rubbish undrained: misunderstanding…

Nice location. Breakfast is ok On the other hand the cleaning quickly made while we take our breakfast why not but in this case it is better if the reassort is done correctly: put sugar for example for tea or coffee.

Room of a beautiful area, ultra king size bed, nice decor, view of the Loire and the superb castle, espresso machine, mini bar and full of small attention. The breakfast buffet, very well furnished. Salty Sweet of everything!
Flat for the bathroom. Old-fashioned, poorly done, small bathtub, with shower inside. Please the owners, make a choice, either a nice shower without bathtub, or a nice bathtub with small shower. The hair dryer is at the end of "breath".
The Jacuzzi is paying off, 15th. But totally privatizable. We did not get the GST but the. Next time no doubt!
To conclude it is a nice establishment, the staff there is very helpful and enjoyable. I recommend.

5 stars if the bar still had cocktails at 10pm;). Otherwise a great hotel with friendly service.

My opinion only concerns the bar accessible without being a guest of the hotel. Very nice view of Saumur, very good reception and reasonable prices.

Great location and amazing view. Very good service and breakfast (which can also be enjoyed in bed! Perfect if you are on holidays and not wanting to be on a rush or under time stress everyday). Unfortunately there is no restaurant working, as this would be the perfect location to end a nice day with a great meal and view to the Loire and Saumur's Castle.
Very comfortable room, good size and very quiet.

Good clean and modern hotel. Best view in the city of the castle and bridge all from their bar terrace. Short walk into the town cente about 5 minutes along the river. Would defintely stay here again.

BEAUTIFUL! Of all the places my wife and I stayed on our last trip. This was our favorite location, view, and staff. Thank you for a wonderful night.

Opted for a room without the river view as bar and terrace had the view & we thought we'd spend most time there ~ very quiet at night ~ bar opens on demand ~ no live football despite France being home nation ~ not a problem just thought we would support hotel bar by watching & disappointed when no show. Hotel enjoys a spectacular location but is a walk to main centre — even staff questioned why we wanted to drink in hotel in evening — we were a party of 4 on 2 Harley's — the only reason I haven't put 5 stars is there is nothing to offer from the hotel in the evening — no restaurant, bar service on demand ~ which is unbelievable given the location! Faultless apart from that.

Great stay for 2 nights. The hotel is very well with a splendid view over the Loire.
It has no restaurant but you will find less than 10 minute walk.
Finally, the style breakfast 'buffet' is simply beautiful.

Room was tiny and very little sound proof so noisy cryogenic cooling!
underground parking paying dirty and cramped (risk of scratching his body) with rollers on the floor at the location of the cars which serves as garage and room for DIY!
Not taken into account your preferences of booking despite 1 mail and 2 phone calls. Refusal to grant me a discount to height of the demand of the customers.
