Like the previous Times Great hotel. Very friendly staff. In my opinion very good lifeguard team (best I have seen up to jz). Waiters are top. Simply everything is harmonious.

It feels like coming home.
Everyone is so friendly, courteous and helpful. We will definitely come back.

Not recommended at all. Anything could be tolerated expect for cleanliness issues. Rooms are not clean at all. We found bugs and ants in the beds! This, of course, caused health problems that we discovred later! just the staff. They are usually nice in the restaurants. However, those in the reception are not friendly and some of them talk and behave in inappropriate ways. O Helpful I Not Helpful.

Food is bad, rooms not clean, very rude staff, all is bad and I won’t recommend this hotel even for cats not humans.

Worst trip ever!
1-the Quality and the Taste of the food was so bad and there was no Variety
2-the rooms weren’t clean and the room service cleaned it once! (i was there for 5 days)
3 — the staff was so rude except two of them
4-the social level was too low due to the tourism companies I don’t recommend to spend your money and your time in this hotel!

We were for the first Time in the Giftun and in Egypt. It was very nice, although an old plant, but it's clean. Our room was very large and we had a beautiful view. The people are super friendly and the food was also good. We can recommend it and will come back again.

We felt like in paradise, so friendly and helpfull people, food was perfect, rooms and service also, animation, we see eachother next year, thanks for wonderful holiday, Joshua, Alka and Marcel Belboom.

A great holiday is coming to an end — it was Fantastic — it was now the 10th time here in between, I was in another Hotel — here are all so friendly and hardworking and the Service is great — everything is clean from the beach to the room — the only thing that needs to change the Lie on the beach or The requirements of the exchange are after — the are just beautiful! The food is also better and I love the sweet buffet. The beach is a dream — I'll be back next year!

my flight in 7pm and check out at 12pm they allow me to stay at hotel till my suitable time and using beach as well all services.

Old but nice facility, staff nice and beach great, only the food is not so great but nearby there are nen mcs.

Very bad experience, stuff are very rode rooms are way from the dinning place, no elevators (for old people), there is no maintenance the bathrooms are very bad and old. It was a very bad experience. We have booked 4 nights but we only spend one night and left. I will not recommend it to any of my friends actually.

The room was very dirty and mega small. The room was cleaned twice and was still dirty, eventually got a different room. The food was also not to eat! The swimmingpool and beach are good! But for a resort it was a mess.

It’s out first time in this hotel and we like it very much. Great service, friendly people, good food, nice beach and swimming pool. We will come back for sure!

It's a beautiful hotel. The staff is unobtrusive, always ready to help. The food is delicious and varied. The beach is wide, the sunbeds are very much. There is free ice cream, there are coolers with water on the territory. The lobby is free.

Was here for a night. This is your standard Egyptian beach resort where rooms are arranged in blocks (all single storey) in arabic garden (date palms, cactuses, etc). The resort is overlooking The Red Sea and dates back to the 60s, as such building is rather "old" and overused. There are about 3 restaurants in the main lobby area (one of which is used for hotel breakfast), and a drink bar that opens 24 hours. Further to the backyard is an outdoor dining area with live music at night. There is another spanish restaurant (El Gaucho) at the beach by the side of Aqua Center. Other amenities include pools, jetty, padded beach recliners complete with straw shade umbrellas, and washrooms. To the west of resort's beach area is a private beach with no clear demarcation and warnings and whose owner is rather rude.

Negatives — Leaky air conditioning unit (3 times in 2 weeks). — Cleaner asked daily what we wanted to be cleaned, and rolled his eyes when it was more than a towel change. — Egg, zucchini, potato, repeat. — No beer at pool bar — costs extra. As did all the good cocktails. — 4 of the 6 Restaurants cost extra. — do not buy the Wi-Fi. It does not work in your room. — Bathroom was disgusting. Brown water and stunk of cigarettes due to cleaners smoking behind room. Bugs over the floor, on a daily basis. — Electric shock from the back of the fridge. — Don't try to watch the TV and enjoy the aircon at the same time. They constantly go off. — The whole family had traveller's diarrhoea on more than one occasion. — A child vomited next to the pool. The clean-up involved moving it around with a mop. No disinfectant in sight. — Front desk staff were grumpy. — Tables in the restaurant were not cleaned between customers — the mat was just slapped to remove crumbs. — Foot shower from pool/beach was nice, but you then have to walk through more sand To get to your room. Defeats the object of having a foot shower entirely. Positives — The omelette chef (Hamid) was nice and makes a cracking omelette. — The kids entertainer made my daughter's evening so much fun. — Beach is clean and water fantastic. — Some staff very nice and accommodating. — Usually enough sunbeds, very rare that you don't get one.

Really rude reception staff, went in to see a couple of friends for a drink and the reception staff wasn't even interested to hear from us, he wasn't even looking at us while talking, we asked to go inside to meet friends at the bar for drinks as we were staying in a private villa. He asked us to pay for day use rate each even though we just wanted to chill at the bar and then he just left rudely and wouldn't talk to us. Having made it all the way from australia for a holiday I would never go back and would never recommend. You missed out on potential income and possible future customers.

I found the hotel receptionist quite rude. Was meant to meet up with a couple of friends residing there at the bar. We were asked to pay 20euros per person to be allowed in which was ridiculous given that we just wanted to chill at the bar and enjoy some drinks and food. The receptionist acted like he was not interested and actually said 'doesn't matter. The hotel is full anyway' Found this quite rude given the fact a couple of years when we were in Hurghada, the same people would beg for anyone to come in… Great hospitality they said.

Very nice place, full of spirit with a nice sandy beach, rooms are nice and clean, friendly staff. Its not 5 stars but very good value for money. Food is also good. Overall worth spending a couple of days.

Don't understand the good reviews at all. I've relied on the good reviews and am mega disappointed and even regret being here. Am here with my husband and my one-year-old daughter. Baby-/child-appropriate, it's not at all. I say briefly: The beach, the sea are fantastic, the lunch and dinner are quite fine. The rest, i. E. Breakfast, hygiene/cleanliness, service, communication etc. Are actually bad to ghastly. We were by the way about holiday pirates with the 5vorFlight company here. Both the organizers and the Small Planet Airline are a real influence for families.

Okay, is what's older the hotel, you should cut corners, BUT for the money for the super staff (and here everyone is friendly) what more would you want? We find it incredibly hammer here. The hotel has really seen other times before, but is still cool. People make a real effort to make you feel like a little king. Weather, water and the best beach in the perimeter. Very clean and well maintained. 95% of the staff speak extremely good German. My tip tries it out. And the food almost deserves a proper star. I tasted everything I tried! I could write even further, but have holidays and really good ones!

Great service & hospitality… everyone is always smiling and helpful. the beach is perfect for kids & swimmers & the water is clear without rocks. the food is tasty. The pool is very nice & the watchmen is alerted. cant wait to come again.

Nice beach, super nice staff, animation tip, also for kids super, music and folklore in the evening very good, old hotel with nice park, unfortunately is not differentiated in the catalog price, whether the rooms are refurbished or not. You can be unlucky or lucky. Many regulars, family atmosphere, breakfast not quite satisfactory, but for lunch and dinner everyone finds something suitable. Rooms are outdated, bathroom so la LA. Nice big and close to the Water. Was the first time There. Staff is very helpful. Food went like this, enough for a week. Just not a luxury! annoying, the alarm system went very often at night… even without fire! I don't think I'm interested! Something like that can't happen!

Cleanliness 0 points! Who likes rice is the right place. Every day rice and pizza! Constant harassment from staff (money exchange, etc. ). No 10 camel's going to get me there!

The room was very quiet.

Unfortunately the hotel is quite old and the rooms are very well maintained. In the summer of 2016 some rooms were renovated, which however was limited to the painting of the green furnishings on a White. On the subject of food is unfortunately not much to say, it is edible but whether it gets one is questionable… Best to restrict to Noodles. A positive aspect of the hotel is the diving base of James and mac, which is always at your guests ' side and provides medicines for health problems. In front of the hotel you should get caught up with intrusive sellers, who also jump on the street loudly to sell a what… Very ugly!

It's good the rooms are good, service quality is fine and the staff are always present and helpful, amazing aqua sports, the restaurants are good and the bar is great, loved it.

We had an enjoyable stay at this resort. Staff are friendly and helpful. There was always plenty of food and something different to try. Facilities need some work but if you just want to relax on the beach it's perfect.

The beach is small, flies do not give sunbathing, were in December. They are able to cook meat. A lot of confectionery, fruit weak variety.

Upon arrival got to 3. A room with 2 beds and under water was said that we should get a third bed, but there was no room for it, only with the help of regulars we got a bigger room, which was enough for all of us. The food is very one-sided and simple. The beach is basically beautiful, but there are many ships there, which sometimes makes the water quality suffer. It is all old, which is not really bad, but especially with drinking cups & loungers you should pay attention to the fact that one is regularly renewed here, here there is a risk of injury. Service personnel act according to their mood, sometimes they are very courteous, sometimes you don't get to grasp anyone. Rooms were often still very dirty, which belongs to regularly wiped, especially at a hotel with Strand/Sand.

The Potting is probably the oldest Hotel in Hurghada, but the Bungalow town With its Flowering Splendour Is always worth a Trip for me. Extensive Renovations are planned this Year. Hopefully the Charm will be preserved. Bed Castles are also enough on the Red Sea.

We are just sitting here at dinner. The staff is very nice and always friendly The floral facility is beautiful as ever. The bathroom facilities have already laid out patina. So do the general facilities, such as restaurants and bars. But for nostalgists, the place to be. If you are willing to cut corners, still a good hotel.

Have been here for the 12 time, for people who are looking for a personal atmosphere are just right here. No super luxury it's just the oldest. But to recommend to others no Russians and 90 percent tribe guests.

Relatively good hotel, when living in rooms of the hotel building. Very good swimming pool with heated, warm water already during November. Meals in restaurants not so bad! Also white wine is OK, but with less alcohol than in Europe.

Old hotel complex with beautiful plants. Very family atmosphere with friendly staff. Bath is not up to date. I prefer to visit the Oriental restaurant. With good salads there are fresh grilled and then sweet treats.

One of the first two hotels in Hurghada, opened in 1984. A little over 500 rooms spread over several wings and blocks of bungalows.
Ideal if you are German, you will feel at home. But for all other nationalities, it's the other way around. In-room communications are only in German and the fascicles at the reception also.
The rooms are not very clean and it is often necessary to insist that the cleaning is done in the water… A lot of cats wander around the compound and are all over the place.
The buffet is varied but not exceptional either.
The pool is very nice and the beach too.
The diving center "James & Mac" is an institution for connoisseurs, quality of services incomparable.

Staff needs to be trained on daily guest treatment, food is not that bad however no varaity Hotel facilities needs some maintenance, its better to call the hotel and check room prices as it might be cheaper if you make your reservation online.

Old but crazy cozy Hotel. Many Of The Regulars. 2 class room: T Block New beautiful large rooms — Bungalows are rather old and old. An of the most beautiful beaches in Hurghada. Hotel is in the middle of the pedestrian zone and Is located directly on the sea.

Who writes the hotel has a beautiful beach says not the truth. We were there, the beach is the worst we have had in Egypt 12 times. About no free views of the sea, eng, all full of boats. Hotel very dirty, poor housekeeping. We were not very much visiting but so disappointed yet. Not to be recommended.
