Ok hotel to spend a couple of nights but that’s it. The single beds in the private rooms aren’t comfortable enough and the bathrooms need a deep clean (shower curtain with mold). Great location near restaurants and not far from the historical sites. Good breakfast 👍🏻

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was cleaned every day and was quite comfortable. I recommend using the offered services such as sightseeing trips, massages, and tattoos. I plan to stay here again when I return in a few months.

Perfect location. The whole building is like a mansion from a mystery murder case movie or something. The kitchen is well stocked and the overall cleanliness is up to par as well.

It’s SO loud at night you will not be able to sleep until 3am. Also, our bed didn’t stop moving around all night as it was on wheels. Only stay if you’re going out every night. Location is great but taxis are cheap to get around if you stay further out.

Really nice here, great yoga space, cinema room, terrace bar& restaurant and workspace. Fresh towels and cleaning every day. Definitely recommend.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to sleep at this hostel at night without noise cancelling headphones or ear plugs. I normally love staying at Selina because it’s clean and has very nice amenities but the music is so loud next door you cannot fall asleep. If you’re ok with having to use ear plugs or headphones while sleeping then yes I recommend staying here but there are other nice hostels in the area without this problem.

Overall, this was a really great, affordable, and centrally located hostel. However, there were a few downsides. To start with the pros, the location of this hostel is excellent. It is walking distance to the main Plaza De San Francisco, and on a centrally located Main Street. The location is very safe, and I never felt unsafe despite traveling solo. There are also many wonderful facilities, like yoga, breakfast, great Wi-Fi, a coworking space, and a masseuse that they can bring in. The Wi-Fi was fast and worked throughout the hostel without a hitch. The main con of this hostel is that it is extremely loud on the weekends. Expect to hear loud club music from around 9:30pm-4:00am on the weekends. Luckily I had noise cancelling headphones, but even with that it was difficult to sleep. So if you like partying and don’t mind club music with loud bass clearly in your room late at night, then staying here on the weekends might be for you. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel only for weeknight stays, because it was difficult to sleep with the noise. The showers also didn’t seem to get hot water. Other than that, it’s a really nice hostel, and all of the pros outweighed the cons for me.

Terrible attention especially from the receptionists, you can not rest because the other guests make a tremendous noise, the breakfast of crying and that you are paying for a service maybe you are begging 👎🏼 I do not recommend it or joke, total disappointment Selina in Cuenca.

Do not stay on a weekend under any circumstances! An otherwise nice place, they let people from outside come in and party in the hallways, loud music and screaming until 4am. There’s nothing wrong with being a party venue, but you can’t charge customers who pay to get a night’s sleep when clearly that’s not on the agenda.

Beautiful hotel recommended the staff is very gentle the rooms are comfortable and beautiful.

This is a really nice hotel — very well priced. Situated in an old building with lots of wood finishes and interesting layout. Very nice & helpful staff. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable.
