Woefully under staffed so lots of waiting, and the staff that were there were not friendly. Location of this hotel is not good for sightseeing unless you are willing to take a train to the central parts in which case it’s only a 5min walk to the station. Watch out for the rooms — there is an old and new part of the hotel — they charge the same for both parts even though the rooms are very different. We had a room in the old part which was dirty, and smelt of smoke with a phone that was not working. After complaining, we were moved to a better room in the new part. Generally not a good hotel — best try somewhere more central if you are here for a weekend.

I booked a prepaid night at this hotel at a slightly discounted rate. I completely understand the risks involved in booking a prepaid rate and I do this often. I accept when travel plans may change and that it is my loss on a prepaid rate. But I was disappointed to learn that this hotel would not do anything for a life threatening medical emergency that prevented my stay. Even airlines allow exceptions for medical emergency. I even provided the hotel with four days notice (I was trapped in Russia with my family as my mother had to recover from life-threatening surgery before she could fly). I understand it is their prerogative to do so and they indicated they could not make an exception. This just seems extremely cold-hearted and not valuing people at all. I cannot recommend this chain as a result and I would not stay with them in the future.

From the first moment you enter the room, you will realize that the room is old, dirty, unkempt. Before Copenhagen, we visited Helsinki and also stayed at the Scandic (Scandic park — 3 stars). It is impossible to compare even close to what cleanliness and grooming in Scandic park. Do I want to come back again? I don't think so.

The sauna didn't work, otherwise everything was fine.

In general it's OK. But there is lack of fresh air in rooms and it's hard to get comfortable low temperature in the room. You can slightly open a window or turn on very noisy air conditioner/ventilation, not both at once. So there is dilemma of silence and coolness. Other aspects are good, personel are very nice and welcome, willing to help you. If you are not very sensitive to a temperature during sleep (+18) then it is a good place to stay.

The bath isn't much to brag about. The mattress is worn and causes back bains. (I'm 31 and fit. ) The card readers don't work reliably. Can't recommend.

Good breakfast. 15-20 mins to airport. Would be better if the rooms are renovated.

I find it generally difficult to evaluate places abroad, but I would have expected more for a hotel of this price range. The rooms are clean and the house is in good condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful. For my taste the sauna has a catastrophic condition and I am not enthusiastic about breakfast.

Our room was unfortunately not as it is used by default, Pickobello clean. In the bathroom e. G. Water stains, hair etc.
The Madratze was much too soft, the air conditioner was so geknattert that we'd rather have slept with an open window. And now and then have heard about the noise on the road.
The breakfast was average to good (my friend and I are not quite an opinion:-) ).
The fitness room and the good public connection to the city centre made a positive impact on us. All in all okay, but there are certainly better hotels.

Good and cheap city hotel with good location to explore Copenhagen. The breakfast is plentiful however it is also always well attended. Tip for exploring the city: in 3 minutes walking distance is a Bycyklen bike station at. There you can borrow the means of transport for Copenhagen.

Hotel very far from the city centre. Communicated by train or 10 minutes by taxi. Ample and good restoration. Typical Scandinavian furniture.

Staff at the reception very friendly. Towels never changed them x all the time of our holiday. That is 5 days.

Nice hotel. Optimally located (close to the airport, fast public transport to the center). Its architecture fits to Sydhaven district surrounding. Great breakfast.

We know many Scandic Hotels in Scandinavia and like them. The Sydhavnen is a more minimalistic Scandic. Small but clean rooms, free parking, excellent breakfast and friendly staff.

Verkar good service. The room could havet been cleaned better. Realy nice for the kids.

A bit noisy at night and no fan in the room. Everything else is chic!

It is not possible that the ground floor of the hotel breakfast area has been turned into disco caring of customers who would like to rest. Here upstairs by the noise vibrate the glasses and seem to have the disco in the room at one at night. Sconsigliatissimo. I have to say they don't know what education is.

It's a Sconsigliatissimo hotel! On the night of Friday, December 8th, 2017 they turned the restaurant into a nightclub, with all the speakers at the maximum volume, even vibrating the glass of the rooms. The music lasted until late at night without any respect for the guests of the hotel creating a remarkable discomfort. If this is the management of a 4 star! Keep away from these rude.

The hotel is OK. The lady who serves the four cheeses with the wines and Porto that are well is very cordial.

So when I finally got here (after a 4 and a half hour drive) I check in. Go to my room to find it has been used before I got there. Tried to call the reception which didn't pick up. Then I went down there complaining. Got a new room and receptionist apologizing. New room is nice. Same as the other just not used. Clean and nice overall. I like the room and the hotel, but the first experience takes a star away for me.

A very good hotel. Close to bus and train — so easy to get into middle of Copenhagen. Service at hotel is really good — room's are nice and the breakfast is huge — delicious and a good variety — even a goid vareity in the allergic section! I recommend it!

There are two wings in it. We were first given the old room and we didn't like it at all. We then shifted to the new wing and the rooms over there were fabulous. Liked the breakfast as well. But it didn't change over our stay. Same dishes for our 2-3 days of stay.

Overraskende god service og faciliteter — bedre end forventet.

Excellent conference venue with modern and high-quality conference tech. Also the restaurant is very good and offers very good classic and also a lot of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. I don't know about the rooms, but gor conferences I can highly recommend it. Next year I will definitively book a room here as well.

This was my Second stay at the Scandic Sydhavnen and it has only gotten better. The staff is charming, Friendly's and helpful. The rooms are pretty basic but they are pretty roomy for European standards. The location is less than ideal, but I'm learning to embrace the distance from the city center as it gives me the opportunity to explore less touristic areas. The hotel is also close to the airport but a cab ride will still cost you around $60. There are bikes for rent and a metro station within walking distance. L from the hotel. The number of bikes are limited but you can also find city bikes at the metro station.

The room was very clean and spacious. Price too high.

The hotel staff could not have been more informative and helpful here, showed us exactly how to get to the points of interest we wanted to see along with making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were incredibly clean and spacious. Location of the hotel was nice too, not too far from the central city or malls. Highly recommend staying a night or week here.

Good functional hotel with free parking in easy reach (a couple of stops on the train) from the centre of the city. We had a large room which comfortably accommodated two adults and two children. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast buffet extensive. But, the bathroom could do with a lick of paint. It's designed as a wet room and with the powerful shower the whole floor was quickly wet.

Very comfortable hotel, located near a "RER" station (STOG) and 15 mn walk from the Carlsberg brewery (tour recommended by the tourist guides). On the other hand, the environment is airy but not very beautiful.

Nice hotel sins a little distant from the centers the train however is convenient.

Typical Scandinavian style Hotel, with basic, warm, clean and very quiet rooms. The restaurant offers international dishes based on meat and fish; Very intimate atmosphere with soft lighting and modern look. Efficient Reception with girls who speak excellent English. Recommended for business trips given the distance from the old town which is however reachable with three Metro stops by train.

Service is good and there is a gernerous breakfast. The front desk will check you in early if they can (people showed up and got in at noon). The hotel is good for kids with mini golf on property and a playroom in the restaraunt/breakfast area. The rooms are simple and as other reviews stated the bathrooms need work but also quiet. Functional but you wont be impressed.

Rooms are clean and tidy food is fantastic but staff can be overwhelmed sometimes management don't seem to have a backup. No permanent bar staff so hanging around for someone to serve and then they turn up and are busy. Needs sorting out. Feel sorry for staff as people getting fed up waiting far to long. But food fantastic did I say that?

Not the hottest new hotel around but service was good, hotel was quiet during the night and the breakfast was as good as in any Scandic Hotel. The master suite might be a little disappointing if you're accustomed to executive level rooms at Hilton, for example: No bath robes or slippers. Still don't know what was wrong with the upstairs sauna, the temperature was around 40 degrees Celsius and I've sat in hotter cars — during the winter. The distance to down town is only some minutes if you're willing to ride a bicycle.

The number corresponds to the price category, no better, no worse. No toothbrush, no toothpaste. Minibar either. The restaurant is very weak, as maintenance and quality. The location is not the best. Internet works fine.

The hotel receptionist was very rude. After asking her to gave us connected room, she gave us two non-connected room and made us go up with two toddlers and 6 pieces of luggage to 4th floor. After we told her that we receive the wrong rooms she start giving as attitude and did not answer our questions we were already stressed out because of our canceled flight and she didn't make it easy for us I do not recommend this placeThe dinner was awful we had no choice we were with kids and the breakfast was not really a continental breakfast as they describe I really don't recommend this place at all.

Modern and functional structure. A little cold but practice.
Breakfast ok, rooms basic but clean enough furnished, that is what matters.
Nearby means of transport.

Comparing to another scandic hotels i. E. Victoria Tower or Sollentuna, The forniture and bathrooms look old, in some rooms the bathroom stinks and in my opinion it needs to be renewed. Anyway I was lucky to change room. Gym ok, sauna ok, Wi-Fi slow and stable.

Easy acces incomming to Copenhagen from Highway. Short driving distance from city center. Free parking. Good facilitys for business and family guests.

Traveled with Business. Hotel rooms are spacious and clean with stable Wifi. The gym facilities are great and you can even have a beer in the hot tub on one of the top floors. Taxi from the airport costs around 200 DKK and the tube into Copenhagen is 2min walk away. I would however recommend going else where for an evening dinner.

Super people, good value for money.
