The location is right across from the subway train station on one side and Tivoli Gardens on the other. The staff here were very professional and welcoming. Any questions we had about the area they were happy to help us with. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the great hospitality.

This is a horrible, shady, bait and switch, roach motel. First off, the hotel lobby is under construction so you get to walk through a construction site! Yay! The rest of the hotel is completely run down and the rooms aren’t clean. I got several bed bug bites and mosquito bites, there were clumps of hair in the hallway on the carpet (they don’t vacuum), my room had unfinished Sheetrock walls… Absolutely avoid this hotel—you will regret staying here. The 4-5 star reviews absolutely must be fake. Don’t trust the photos… if I could, I’d post photos here showing my broken shower, the 1970s bathroom, stained carpet, broken drapes/curtains… This place is the worst hotel I’ve personally ever stayed at and was not expecting that considering Copenhagen and Denmark is known for its design and high standard of living. I truly feel scammed.

Luv this hotel… a bit pricy but so central and have a classical design with refurbished interior. You can board any train you want (the hotel is next to Copenhagen central station) as well as the hop-on hop-off buses within a few minutes from the hotel. Staff members were friendly, speak perfect english, approachable and are quite knowledgeable about the city.

Great location, right next to the train station. The building itself looks a bit old inside the lobby but rooms look good. If you reserve with breakfast — you get to enjoy a well-stocked buffet style breakfast. Beware though, if you reserve a two bed room you might end up with a double bed instead — which is what happened to me. The receptionist (joe? ) was not helpful when I tried to fix the issue so we were stuck with the double bed for the two nights we were there.

Classic Old World Danish Hotel. Great location and the rooms were spacious. They also offer and excellent breakfast buffet option.

Very convenient to the train station. Room more spacious than most European hotels. Excellent restaurant nearby where we celebrated our anniversary.

Optimal position. Very varied breakfast. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Retro style. To visit the city is ideal.

Was nice but hotel room was not very clean. Dirty bathroom and dirty walls. Hotel is in very good location close to the train station 5 min. Personal was very friendly breakfast was very good. Copenhagen is very nice City!

Great location and friendly but definitely faded compared to the days when the famous stayed there. Dumbbells in every room — why? The library bar is much smaller than expected. Not the quietest location hence they supply earplugs.

The hotel is in a very nice spot with the central train station right in front. The breakfast is nice and rich. The dinner is excellent.

OK room a bit tired some of the sockets didn't work bath room needed some work breakfast was good and service was good.

At first we were given a beautiful room which we were completely happy about. Unfortunately our nights sleep was disrupted by quite a loud air conditioning fan. We made the front desk aware and they were so kind and helpful in giving us not only a quieter room but one with a beautiful balcony. Thanks Thomas from the front desk, you have made our stay even more pleasing. We will be sure to visit again. P. S breakfast is well worth adding to your room. (And I'm fussy about how I like my scabbled eggs).

Loved my stay. An old-fashioned hotel with really comfortable rooms. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious; very busy on the Sunday I was there. Lots of places to visit within walking distance.

Decent hotel… Had a cool room up at the top. Quite comfortable and spacious. Loved the Library bar!

Unfortunate. The only highlight is the location, two blocks from the main pedestrian and the shopping area, in addition to the train station in front. The rest is not up to the price or the photos published. Room furniture unpainted, scratched and with broken locks; The carpet so worn that with the treads was heard creaking the woods of the floor; The lighting was scarce because most of the lights were broken. However with very good will I could say that they are minor details and unmatched with the major problem we had: the room heating did not work during. The three days we were. With — 2 Gr. We were frozen. They gave us a very light blanket. My little boy, I made him sleep dressed. They told us they had fixed it and it wasn't. It never worked. I don't recommend it!

Very unique experience, especially the lobby, restaurant and library bar make you feel like a time traveller. Classy and chique! Some renovations would be desirable in bathrooms. Staff is very friendly and kind! Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Very nice Hotel. Perfect location, next to the train station and therefore 20 min from the airport by train. A few small touches would be to do in the room which remains very comfortable with very good bedding. The breakfast is simply excellent with a lot of choice.

Nice hotel with old charm and good service, but a bit run down and in needed of a renovation.

Very disappointed with this hotel. The location is good (100m from the central station), but, the place is clearly not at the level of its number of stars. I recovered a room at the 4th with view of the railroad tracks (why not), but, above all, horribly poorly soundproofed. The windows were shaking at every train pass! Plus, big heating problem. It made a maximum of 15 ° in the room, without the possibility of increasing the temperature (a kind of dust-nest blower was trying in a roar of hell to warm the room, without success). The room was in sad condition (base tee, damaged furniture, carpet and bedding OK though). Anyway, not very glamorous. The bathroom looked like a cold room, with a VMC blowing cold air without the possibility of stopping it. So, icy bathroom. Bathroom furniture in poor condition also (shelf under the mirror disordered…). In short, clearly not at the level given the price. Breakfast OK, and overall good service (although I find it hallucinating that there is no one permanently at the reception…). So disappointed!

We are enjoying staying at the Hotel. As they say Location Location Location! It is straight across the road from central station where we got the train from the airport. We have a very large room which we make the most of. The bathroom is a little bit old and outdated. Hotel is however 180years old so has that old world charm. Water pressure is not great in the shower. Breakfast is good. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Recommend if you want to stay in the city.

Staff great. Room was large and had a view (A lucky upgrade). Restaurant food very good although dinner oversalted. Especially good breakfast. Some minor maintenance problems with the room. Yes a bit dated but in a way adds to the charm. Management just need to ensure they stay on top of things to retain the classical elegance the hotel currently has.

ThE hotel is quite good in the middle of the town and I want to give 5 stars to the recipient Jala. He is such a helpful and nice guy.

Our room was delayed a bit because they were short-staffed for cleaning the rooms, but we just left our luggage in their storage room and went out to see the city. Nice room, bed was comfortable. If you're a light sleeper, stay somewhere else because the train station is literally next door and there is the constant sound of trains running up and down the tracks.

Been there 2 times and would go back again. Library bar was fantastic. During the holidays they hang a Christmas tree upside down from the ceiling. I remember Malcolm Forbes rated the Library Bar one of the best in the world. If it was good enough for Malcom it was good enough for me.

A nice hotel, but it's a little too old. There are some little bugs so, be careful. But the lobby persons are very kind.

Love this hotel. Close to train station where we took a day trip to Sweden. Their breakfast was amazing. Hop on Hop off bus right at the corner.

Fabulous ol' fashioned British club atmosphere. Love their Champagne cocktail. A bit on the pricy side, but very generous on the spirts ;-).
