Good old appartments hotel in a very nice place. But local staff do not allow to leave a bag after a checkout even for an hour.

The best place even if you have a crazy experience and arrive after 10pm.

We loved our stay at Jacob Brno. We were in one of the apartments, which was very colourful (we particularly liked the adjustable colour LEDs in the kitchen) and warm as well as having good facilities (washing machine, oven, hobs) and quickly felt like home. The location is brilliant, very close to the heart of the city and surrounded by bars and restaurants, and with easy access to the transport networks. The only downsides were a bit of noise from revellers on the street on Saturday and nearby church bells on Sunday, but this'll always be the case for such a central location and is a minor nitpick compared to all the positives. The receptionists were really friendly and helpful, speaking English was no problem and it was easy to get any info we needed, plus they let us store our bags there after checkout while we explored. Definitely recommend for couples or families looking for a reasonably priced but comfortable base from which to explore Brno.

Cool hostel in superb location. Streets around get noisy at night and might disturb light sleepers.

Great hostel. Loved apartment.

We had a one night stay and it was our emergency stay as our original hotel refused us for being late for check in. This hotel accommodated us without any questions and we enjoyed our stay here. We will be happy to stay here again on our future travels.

The amenities here were nice, but it was very quiet. Brno is a college town and school was out during my stay so that may have been the reason.

Great location, and staff. Thankfully, earplugs are provided as the hostel is above a street bar. I hope to return to the hostel in future travels.

GREAT location, walkable from the train station, staff was friendly and very helpful, rooms were clean. Love Brno and will stay at Hostel Jakob again on my next visit.

The apartments are nice, but the buildings which are mix of hotel, hostel, privátne flats and business is a bit of a mess. The reception was on the 5th floor of one building and the apartment was on 4th floor of another building, both of them having broken elevators. The square in front of the buildings is really busy with people drinking beer outside, so quite noisy until late night.

Was all good, in the centre and for a good price.

What more could you want? This Hostel is situated in the middle of the city, the staff was professional and helpful, our room was clean and spacious. Free breakfast was also a big plus. Within walking distance you will find nice restaurants, good beer and even a club for those who like staying up late. Thanks Hostel Jacob!

Discretely located hostel on 5th floor with beautiful historical architecture views. In fact, the hostel itself is situated in a historical building with high ceilings and period windows. Simple yet functional décor fits in the old-town's vintage fashioned, but full of youth, spirit of central Brno. Eventhough it's not a party hostel and the guest were politely respecting night time, you don't have to go too far to join a party. Jacub's square is lively place with number of quirky bars and pubs full of young people. If you take into account there is a breakfast included, a range of refreshment at supermarket prices readily available at the reception and you add-on friendly attitude of the staff, you are getting genuine bargain. Definitely worth to give it a try!

Liked: Location, facilities, hygiene, private room was kinda of a hotel room for a hostel price, breakfast Disliked: No curtains (we were on the second floor; would be hung the next week. ), little lack of atmosphere on our floor.

Amazing hostel! Located in very center of city, the hostel's dining room shows a nice view on the church! The hostel is extremely nice, clean and smells fresh! It has a big clean kitchen, where you can cook, sunny dining room, mane clean showers and restrooms. It also has a real coffee machine, where you can make espresso/latte/cappuccino FOR FREE! The location is amazing. Rooms are clean (I stayed in single room with 2 beds). Shampoo and towels are provided. Hostel has PC, tourist information brochures, and offers nice free breakfast variety. Stuff is friendly and helpful. I would stay where again and again for sure. I highly recommend it.

Great hostel. We stayed as 2 large groups in the 6 bed dorm and the 11 bed dorm. Clean, tidy and fantastic views of Brno. The continental breakfast was spot on for the money too. Nice touch with sweets on reception. Brno is such as nice city and I can honestly say I never met a bad person while I was there. The staff were welcoming and always helpful. They helped us plan some activities and it all worked out as we wanted. Thank you for a superb weekend.

The best typical czech breakfast ever, with a real proper coffee machine! The most amazing staff, very welcoming and helpful Every traveller to Brno should stay in this hostel nice, clean and modern rooms, excellent location, easy walk to the trainstation, bus station and every important place in Brno beds in the dorm room have very practical curtains for increased privacy, great idea.
