We went for lunch and everything was perfect. The place was very clean, well decorated and with a lot of character. The food and the beer just perfect. The service impressive, the best in Czech, the waiter was polite and professional, very professional, checking our table from the distance every two minutes. The price good.

Hotel is a beer fan paradise. Located in city center, it’s very convenient to get around. Food is fantastic, and the staff is very helpful.

The beer is still quite good, but the food has gone downhill a bit. Ribs were dry and mostly fat on this visit. I quite liked this place in 2012, but I would be reluctant to try it again after my last visit. I'm not sure why all the complaints about arrogant staff; perhaps I'm getting better service as a tourist. Sorry, Czech comrades ;) I acknowledge my privilege.

I stopped at the Pegas for a quick drink with a friend. Friendly staff, very informal environment, quality of their beer stellar Pils! Try it if you pass around here!

Having eaten and drank there many times over 4-5 years ago and really enjoyed it I was so disappointed that the standard of food, drink and cleanliness has dropped. Now the place smells of cabbage and the bramborák looks like frozen from a supermarket.

Good food, very good beer, but the differential of this place is the service. Service in cz is usually below average anywhere else in the world, but here is ok, which is very good for Czech standards.

Excellent brew pub with really good ale. The food was first rate too and the environment perfect.
The only problem is its so popular that I came back the following evening only to find the place so full that I was unable to sample the food and beers a second time.

Great food and beer. Never experienced a place going through such a transformation. From being a smoky place with rudest staff in Brno to smokefree and completely acceptable service. I don't know what they told the staff but it worked, thank you Many of my friends still don't go because they can't believe it changed so much.

The hotel is located in the center of Brno, a historic building, beautifully renovated and very modern inside. There's a beer pegasus on the first floor. There's an underground parking garage. The hotel starts at the second floor. The breakfast was excellent. We had a big room (3 seats), a big bathroom in the bathroom, and the size of the room was impressive. A free mini bar with a daily, mandatory bottle of Pegasus. Lack of air conditioning, but there was a fan. Very friendly staff. Absolutely recommend!

Nice place. There is a delicious beer, although I am not a fan. The hotel is good but no air conditioning. The service is good, there is paid Parking under the building. Arrives as the car is not immediately clear how. It is necessary to drive into the pedestrian zone.

Really bad service during the lunch! The waiter wasn't able neither to speak neither to understand English. Different menu for the terrace and there weren't neither an information about it! The name of the foods were the same with the ground floor and in the end they brought something totally different. When we complained about it they just said that the terrace has different menu. No one neither apologized for the long list of mistakes. We asked for majonese and after 20 minutes of wait for it we asked again. The waiter replied us that in Czech Republic the majonese is the tatarska… (something absolutely wrong. ) We requested for the owner and after that he kidded us, he didn't neither take into consideration what we said! And about the majonese he said that of course they have! So they were just kidding us! The point is that we aren't tourists in that country but we are leaving here now 2 years! So we know what is truth and what is fake! Of course he left without apologizing… I was a usual customer but I felt really disappointed and I will think twice before go there again!

I didn't visit the hotel, just the the bar where they make the beer. It's an amazing place with a good atmosphere, the beer is delicious.

In a day or two. A very cosy place. There's a line on the menu in Russian and the waiters are trying to communicate with you in Russian. Here I drank the most delicious beer in the Czech Republic-Special gold.

The best beer in Brno from their brewery. It is recommended to finish the beer marathon at Brno. Beer should be drunk from the lounger, but not Vice versa.

Is specifically to find and visit a restaurant. Varied and tasty food, friendly staff, excellent own brewed Beers, prices are reasonable, tipping is at your discretion. With pleasure would become a regular.

The hotel has a restaurant which doubles as a microbrewery and serves its beer. Great hearty and rich in tradition. The beer is also excellent that, affordable prices. The restaurant is divided into smokers and non-smokers for everyone's needs. If you switch from Brno eat here.

In my opinion, the best pivbar Brno. Happy beer and beer prices. We managed four sit at 20 euros. While not specifically looked at the prices. Ate meat, drank three beers.

While food and beer is great there, Pegas would easily win contest of worst service ever. I assume they just hate foreigners because when I come with locals, everything is fine, when with foreigners — waiters are very rude. Last time we were there we got afraid that our waiter named Petr will get agressive — he was very angry and exceptionally rude, made grimaces behind my friends backs and badmouthed them. Also made wrong orders and counted some stuff we didn't order, but we didn't wanted to see him go full mental, so didn't say anything and were happy just get out. He was acting pretty normal around tables around us where people spoke czech and german. I used to go there occasionally, but this was last drop after few times before when me and my friends just assumed that they accept only waiters who hates their job sincerely.

So amazing. I think there's not a bad thing on the menu, but if you try the pork ribs your brain will explode! This is a must visit when in Brno.

It was very pleasant to stay at the hotel PEGAS (December 2008). Friendly staff and very nice environment. I can recommend.
