Excellent service, beautiful decor.

Helpful and accommodating for our group. Comfortable rooms. Great breakfast.

We were on the way to Budapest and had an overnight stop there. Big rooms, good breakfast and very central to the fabulous city of Brno. Grandhotel Brno has seen better times but still worth to stay a few days.

Very nice hotel in Brno. Ckean and very big rooms, very comfortable besd. Staff can be more feiendly but ok. They speaks english. The location of the hotel in great.

Super hotel Super City Super Service Nice.

We stopped in to wait and had a couple of drinks. The help was very pleasant even though we weren't guests. Reasonably priced despite being a hotel bar.

Single room a bit small but still good. Great breakfast and helpful staff.

Our room was quite outdated, however was a comfortable place to sleep and the breakfast in the morning was outstanding. A good place to stay and encourages you to spend less time in the room and more outside exploring.

Good location: near the station, bus station and the old town. High-quality plumbing in the rooms.

We stay here in Brno at the grand hotel on our way to zlin. It's central to the city bus and train station. The rooms are good standard and after trying other hotels in the area we now always stay here because of the quality and convenient of the location.

Recommend hotels in the Center and eat very well.

Great big rooms, staff helpful, great location.

Been there for a business trip and fortunately did not have to pay for it by myself. If you travel by car you have to pay a quite heavy price for a parking spot in front of the hotel. The room was clean but very very old (and not in a good way). The bathroom was very big although without anything special inside but somehow had wall bars? Breakfast was nothing special at all and the service average.

Only ate desert "Sacher" cake. Wasn't as good as the original from Vienna. Interior decore was classic but we'll maintain.

Very nice Hotel adjacent to the old town of Brno. The reception staff are very courteous and professional as well as the housekeeping ladies on the floors and the breakfast staff. Comfortable rooms Although slightly sparse the walls. Excellent music ' 20 and ' 30 in the background in the lobby that, together with the breakfast room recalls a little ' Art Deco style. If I go back to Brno again, I'll gladly.

Old hotel but very well preserved. The rooms are super spacious and they are very clean. In the price includes buffet breakfast which is very complete. The treatment of the workers is very nice. It has a small gym and if you want to park the car in the hotel, they call parking but park in the street, you have to book it before and pay about €18

Charge to park in front of the hotel. Small casino inside. Old world charm. Across from train station. Was really cold the night we were there. Not much in the surrounding city. Beds were 2 twins pushed together and lumpy. Hotel room service just alright. Breakfast was standard European continental. They seem to use 20 year old something interns for every job there. Free Wi-Fi alright.

This was my first experience in this hotel it’s realy good hotel breakfast option was really good. It’s just a walkable distance from train station.
It’s middle of high street get good option to explore the city.
Just few steps you will find many option for food.

Brno is a the best place in Czech if you want the real Czech experience. Little or no tourist. Nothing Americanized here!

Very friendly staff. Well located. Nice breakfast. Hotel rooms are a little dated and it can be a little noisy from footfall past the hotel in the early hours. In general would recommend.

There are no questions to the room and its cleaning. The staff is friendly, speaks English and German, and only some-in Russian. The breakfasts are delicious but not very varied and plentiful (it's Europe rather than turkey:) ) has its own bar and kind of like a casino (the casino was not a decent bar). The overall impression is rather positive.

I wasn't staying at the hotel. But being in Czechia for the first time and for a few days, I needed a tram ticket that would be valid for some days. Hotel Grand staff helped me keep my luggage in their luggage room for time being and explained how+where to get the tram ticket. Very helpful staff.

It could be much more better. This hotel definitely needs some kind of renovation. There are better hotels to stay in Brno, with more "value for money". But nice staff. Good location, Grandhotel is situated very close to train station and in opposite of bus station, max. 10 min by feet to the main square, almost everything is in walking distance.

Visited the Caffee in the lobby. Fair prices, very nice coffee, great and tasty lunch selection. I caught the time when it was quiet there so can`t really describe the vibe this place can have. In overall, it is very close to the railway station, you got Wi-Fi, toilet, nice personnel. If you are just passing by or meeting a friend… it is worth visiting.

Grand hotel… luxury hotel, HA what a joke! There is nothing grand or luxurious about this hotel. Carpets stained, non-working A/C units in rooms, shower falling apart, bad coffee, an unappetizing breakfast buffet, billing issues and cleaning staff not in uniforms. I thought they were hotel quest until I seen them pushing the carts. Hell I’ve seen motel 6 cleaning ladies in uniforms. I lived in Brno in 2013 and always wanted to stay here so, when the wife and I did a trip back in lAugust 2017 to visit the city we love so much I jumped at the chance to book a room here. Boy was I disappointed with the outcome. The A/C unit made this horrible clicking sound that was loud enough to stop you from sleeping when it came on. It took two days for them to send someone up to say “Yeah it’s broke” after I told them that already. I was so pissed with the outcome from the service that I demanded my money back and told them I’d find a different hotel in Brno for the rest of our trip. Then and only then did they act concerned and offer us a different room. I’ve lived in Europe and I know they don’t hold customer service to highest of standards which I understand and do like for the most part. However, when you do understand what I’m saying and ignore me then we have an issue. I can’t deal with stupidity and imbeciles. Not worth the money so, trust me stay somewhere else. I think we as Americans get baby’d in the U. S. Way to much… and the customer is not also right.

Nice and cosy rooms, TV and ok bed. You have a Wi-Fi there. You get a lot of the railway crossing and car trafic in the night, but it's still quite ok. There is no parkplace owned by the hotel, but one is at the bus station across the street, so it you pay for it, they will let you stay there even over night. Breackfast is ordinary sweden table with good coffee. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but many in surroundings. You can visit a cassino or a bar in the hotel.

Very good location — just a few steps from the main station and close to the city center, good breakfast, nice staff, a bit old-fashioned 1990s interior.

Has excellent customer service, decent room accommodations, and better than anticipated complimentary breakfast. The hotel is old fashioned, perhaps hundreds of years old, and has maturity that shows. The central location is very convenient, with primary transportation hub of the city for both tram, and bus station. I wish the rooms had better climate control for warmer days off year.

In the short term, trivago booked. Double room with Breakfast and Parking at the door 75€. In the evening alacarte eaten: excellent! Rooms: clean, spacious Location: train station, almost opposite, tram and buses also. With car easy to reach.

Nice hotel, free Wi-Fi is a plus, but no parking space for which I asked to be reserved for me, but they didn't, lazy older lazy at the reception, all paperwork takes ages, not very pleasant.

Stayed for a night and the hotel and its staff is good overall. One small minus, which has been mentioned by others, is the parking fee with is 20€ per night.

Lovely hotel, stayed for 4 weeks could'nt fault the service.

I have stayed in this hotel 4 times. The location is perfect with bus terminal and train station both only a block away. We take a bus from Prague to Brno and it's a short walk to the hotel. Historic Brno and is right behind the hotel. I have been treated with fairness and respect every time. The breakfast is continental and their coffee is excellent. The rooms are large and well appointed. I only speak English and the staff at the hotel all speak some English. They were very helpful.

Old fashioned hotel, difficult parking, overpriced services (parking or internet 450 CZK per day! There are much better hotels in Brno.

This is a really nice hotel for the money. Very reasonable. The staff is very helpful and most speak perfect English. The rooms are comfortable and the central location to everthing (transport, restaurants, sights, etc. ) can't be beat. The breakfast is very good as well.
