The reason for me to select this hotel was its closeness to the bus station, where I arrived and from where I wanted to leave early next morning for the Plitvice lakes. To visit Zagreb I moved after two days to a hotel in the city centre. The small hotel is located in a modern building by a big and busy avenue, which I could see from my window. Luckily the sound insulation was quite good.
The room looked nice, but it was far from perfect. Besides sleeping I use a hotel room for writing at a desk and for reading in bed. This was a problem here. The armchair by the desk was so low, that it was almost impossible to write (and I am 6ft tall) and the light by the bed so weak, that I gave up reading. In the wardrobe were only three cheap plastic clothes hangers. Wi-Fi was disconnecting regularly (the worst connection on my latest 10 hotels trip).
The hotel has no bar or breakfast room. For that one has to go somewhere else (and not nearby). Reception is not open 24 hours. All in all more a guesthouse than a real hotel. And for what is offered the place is far too expensive.
For me the best about this accommodation were the two very friendly and professional ladies, Kata and Anja, who took turns at the reception. They also suggested to me a restaurant behind the bus station with excellent Croatian food.
