What a wonderful experience we had at Buru Nature Hotel.

We had a great experience at Buru. We were nervous about visiting the Amazon but also wanted the full nature experience and this was just that! The absolute highlight for us was the food.

Our stay at Waira Suites Hotel in Leticia was truly exceptional!

Manchas is the star of the show. The bestest good boy who has ever been. Seriously though, this hotel has a very high tier of service.

One of our favorite hotels! It was our choice 13 years ago during our honeymoon in the Amazon — and it’s our choice again today. Thank you for keeping your standards so high.

What a hidden gem! The Decameron is exactly where you want to stay if you come to Leticia Amazons. Everything about the Decameron is exceptional: pricing, cleanliness, food, and staff! A must stay!

Our experience at Hotel Utane was truly exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish exceeding our expectations.

Very good experience and very friendly stuff. We stayed for 3 nights, they picked up us from the airport and also bringed us back.

We are a Mission Organization and have been utilizing Alto Amazonas for a couple years now as we bring in teams of people from the states.

Nice place and nice couple running it. It’s far from town which we didn’t really account for, but there are buses that pass by frequently and they’re not too expensive.

Traveling down the Amazon to Colombia (from Peru), I spent an enjoyable week in Leticia. I had been here previously a couple times, the sights and sounds were familiar.

Good location, pretty safe area. Main street, but Not loud. Real nice breakfast, with a variety of local choices. Really friendly staff.

Simple and Clean, with a Few Things to Note.
The hotel is clean and very basic—more like a house than a traditional hotel. My room had a desk, a wardrobe, and air conditioning, but no hot water.

We only stayed one night but we enjoy the comfort after a week in the Amazon. The room was good and the staff was helpful. Breakfast stood out with fruits, eggs and fresh breads.

The hotel has a lovely garden where you can enjoy a very good breakfast. Our 4p cabin was fine.

Loved staying here, it was exactly what I needed at the end of an Amazonian tour. Tranquility with the jungle so close.

Yakuruna is a great place! They treat guests excellent and are always there to help with anything. Rooms are very comfortable and the food is delicious!

Ideally located in Leticia' main street. Quiet hotel with a good local restaurant nearby.
No hot water but it is often so in Amazonia.

Allowed us to check in early. We arrived about 9.30am having come on a boat from Iquitos. The pool was amazing to cool off in. Beds were comfy with decent pillows.

All inclusive set in the Jungle. They will take great care of you.
Travel expenses are extra but they will ensure top notch everything! Enjoyed ourselves, enjoyed the food, recommend highly.

What a wonderful place! Communications for the reservation and throughout the trip were excellent.

Overall very nice, clean rooms, friendly staff and the laundry service was good! Loved the locally made ice creams sold there.

I loved staying here and wouldn't hesitate to return. The staff were helpful and the rooms pleasant. Walking distance to many local attractions, shops and restaurants.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this hostel in Colombia! I stayed there while doing a 5-day jungle tour, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip.

I was actually just looking for accommodation in Leticia and then booked the Calderon Tour straight away.  Together with a guide, we travelled through the jungle in a small group for four days.

Great location.
Very friendly staff.

The best experience as close as you can get to the jungle. This place is magic, Martha and Juan very professionals and helpful, fantastic typical food, the rooms 100% recommended!

Great price and location. Leonardo and Carolina were so accommodating and helpful. Within walking distance from the port, Tabatinga and all the shops and restaurants are just a few blocks away.

For me, this has to be the best place in Leticia. Carolina is a superstar caretaker. Leonardo (the owner), Garota (the dog) and Carolina made me feel at home.

I did the 3 day 2 night Amazon tour with this hostel and it was AMAZING. Our translator, Ben, was attentive and always keeping us up to speed with the fascinating stories told by our local guide.

We stayed in a private room and had a great stay. Nice staff, the pool is great, there is a bar and a gym as well.

The rooms were small but clean and useful. The person renting them out was willing to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Sadly the location isn’t really good, especially optically.

We tried both, double room and appartement.
The appartement is more rustique when the double room is more modern with AC. The quality/price was excellent.

It is the best hotel in Leticia. We tried a couple, and certainly this one is the best.
Advantages:
-Rooms are cozy, small but nice.
-There are no mosquitos in the rooms.
-The internet is good.

A very comfortable hotel, we only stayed one night before our amazon tour but seems like a nice place for multiple nights.
