This was by far the worst accommodation experience I have ever had—completely unacceptable!
The bathroom facilities were like an abandoned space—tiny, filthy, and reeking of mold, making me question if they were even safe to use. This condition is a blatant insult to guests’ basic needs!
There was absolutely no communal space, not even a basic seating area, making the whole place feel oppressive and suffocating.
The night felt like sleeping in a marketplace, with deafening noise. The staff showed no professionalism, stomping around, slamming doors, and even having loud conversations. This complete lack of respect for guests is absolutely intolerable.
Worst of all, the front desk staff’s attitude was downright hostile. When we raised our concerns, they offered no solutions and spoke to us in a condescending tone, basically telling us, "Take it or leave it. " It’s unbelievable that such an establishment operates as a business.
To top it all off, we arrived to find that our reserved beds had been canceled or oversold, leaving us unable to follow our original plans! This is not just negligence; it’s an outright insult to paying guests!
I strongly urge everyone to stay far away from this hostel. It doesn’t deserve to operate in the hospitality industry. Save your money and energy for a more professional and humane option elsewhere!

I would recommend this hostel only for a short stay. It's located well next to a famous night market and it's a 10 min walk away from Taipei main station. It's kinda hard to find as there are so signs leading into the building. The hostel seems like a rebuilt hotel room with very little space and no common area. The bathroom is very narrow and tiny with some bugs crawling around the walls but it's cleaned daily. The female dorm is locked with a key card unlike the other rooms but is very noisy due to the AC. It's very hard to sleep even with earplugs in so keep that in mind.

Overall experience was fine. It was my first time staying in a hostel, it was shocking at first and also limiting. It was a mixed dorm (as stated on their description) and indeed it was, the room was shared by varied people and nationalities serving it like a transient stay.
Positives:
The nearest station is really close and there's a night market nearby (5-minute walk). The place was quiet.
Needs patience:
The personnel of the entrance building wasn't the most welcoming. I had to come back repeatedly and asked if it was the right place though it really was.

The hostel itself is great. It’s clean, in a good location and feels safe. The only reason personally that made me give 3 stars is because the lady who sits at the front desk is incredibly strict about cleanliness among guests and was constantly nagging at us to clean our room even though there are staff to clean the room. She even made an effort to come tell me to clear up the room while I was packing. This made our experience less pleasant.

I absolutely loved and loved staying at this hostel! The staff are super friendly, speaks great English and cares about the guests. The security is good, each room has a card swiper to enter. The reception area is gorgeous with big windows and great view. Very budget friendly, even though it has an elegant feel with lovely decorations. The bedding is clean, ultra soft and the area is well aired and you really can’t hear any noise from the lobby. The bed curtain is very thick so no light enters, which was perfect for me to sleep soundly. I got to meet lots of other international guests, got to read good books and enjoyed the fast internet. Will stay here again later.

It’s a pretty good hostel, nice bedding, nice common area. Good breakfast, decent price. Only problem is that they don’t get rid of the inappropriate people in the main area. A girl kept shouting sex and sex, drinking, and she kept talking about her private parts and just shouting very loud. She totally ruined my experience and everyone else around me was super uncomfortable.

Worst hospitality attitude ever met and weirdest hostel, just a multiple beds hotel.

Accommodating Staff and very clean rooms and convenient location!
