I stayed in July 2018 with family for a few days. Every room has a unique layout (some with large bathroom and some with small one). It has the feel of a boutique hotel. A big advantage was affordable parking behind the hotel if available and water bottles at the front desk for $1. The location is great! Beautiful views of the river and a short walk to the boardwalk. No need to drive at all while staying here. We stayed on the 3rd floor, but be warned that they do not have an elevator. I would recommend for a great stay!

Rooms and bathroom spacious but unfortunately view on staircase and wall, warm welcome and old bedding.

It was a nice historical manor to stay in. Information on amenities was laid out in the room. It was nice to have the refrigerator, coffee and tea available everyday since I was there for 5 nights. The view (my room) was the icing on the cake-was nice to wake up with the view of Frontenac Hotel, park and Dufferin Terrace. It a very quiet place to stay. Definitely one of the best place I've stayed. Staff were great.

First off, let me start off saying that we absolutely LOVED the location of this hotel. Perfect walking distance to great views and activities, and the entire neighborhood looks like it's straight out of a movie. There are dozens of hotels in the neighborhood (and that same street for that matter), though. Unfortunately, the only spoiler to a perfect Valentines Day vacation was Manoir Sur Le Cap. When we arrived, we believed we would be getting a room which had two double beds (as per our reservation on Expedia). After lugging up our luggage three narrow, winding flights of stairs (no elevator), we arrived in a tiny closet of a room which housed only one double bed. Confused, my boyfriend came back down to ask the front desk who rudely told him he was confused and patronized him by explaining what "double" meant. She told us if we wanted a bigger room, we would have to pay the additional cost. We gave up as the bickering was getting nowhere (also, this hotel had limited hours so the woman was trying to put on her shoes and bolt out the door to go home), and took the single double. This size would have been adequate for one single person, as we couldn't open up both luggages in the room while keeping walking space. The room itself was clean, but dimly lit with only two side lamps. The main light was flickering so we couldn't use it, but the front office was locked before we could ask anything about it.

(Scam Alert) Despite having booked and reserved through an agent (payment upon arrival), their staff Qing kept harassing me to provide my full credit card details via email until I decided to cancel as this is not a safe nor professional way for customers to provide credit card details.

We stayed at the Manoir sur le Cap on our Honeymoon. Compared to other hotels it was the best quality at the cheapest price. The Manoir is a historic building which meant that the room we stayed in had older features such as bay windows and water heaters. The bed was phenomenal and the views of the Chateau Frontenac were a plus! While the room was on the small side it was exactly as advertised.

Beautiful house in the old city of Quebec (although unfortunately, we were hosted in a condo, next to the house itself, but quite nice as well). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the place is within walking distance of most of Quebec's sightseeing. There is no parking in the hotel, and the staff recommend either one located right on the other side of the square the hotel is located (this one is quite expensive) or the one located at the City Hall (a bit further away but much cheaper). The hotel street is wide enough, anyway, to just stop for a moment and drop luggages before parking the car.

Loved the location of the hotel. Removed enough the city that it was quiet but not necessarily inconvenient. We were in room 1 and even though it was by the front door, we never were bothered by noise. Room was a very good size as was bathroom. We would definitely return!

This hotel was a perfect blend of convenience and quietness. Located just a few steps up from the terraces Dufferin, it's still very centrally located but sees little car or foot traffic. Our room was on the first floor and had a view of the Frontenac. We were slightly concerned that we would constantly hear guests coming and going, but we barely noticed. Our room was spacious for our needs and very comfortable. The staff was friendly as well. Highly recommended for the price.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVERY MOMENT HERE! I can't speak highly enough of this place. I am so glad we chose to stay there. We where in room 1 which had a queen and a full. Nice size room. Set up very stylish. Had our own bathroom. Had a tv. Everything was clean, beds made nicely, staff friendly, it had everything you needed and more. But the very best part is it has a wonderful location. If you get the chance stay there.

The only star is for its location. The room is very very small, the view is obstructed by cluttered, the towels are very worn. There is no parking! The bed produces a lot of squeaking. In addition, in most establishments one has to release the room at noon, here one must leave before 11 …

We spent 5 nights at Manoir sur le cap at the beginning of May. It is in a great location. We could easily walk everywhere we wanted to go from here. The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

Nothing but your room. The room was fantastic and clean, lots of space and tons of character. No other facilities, but great for a short stay in a fun part of the city.

This is a great place to stay. Period. With all of the food choices available within walking distance in Quebec, why would you even want to eat a continental breakfast in your hotel (it’s not an issue, as it’s not offered here)? We were up and out of our room by 8 am and didn't get back until well after lunch, when the great bed was used for a well-deserved nap. The inn keeps are friendly and informative, and the place is immaculate. Plan on parking your car underground at City Hall. It’s about a five-minute walk from the hotel. And at $12 a day, you can't beat it. There's temporary parking right in front of the hotel, so this is not a problem when you're unloading your luggage when you first arrive. This should be a great place to stay in 2008, as Quebec is planning a huge celebration for its big anniversary. Travel Note: Start warming up for this city a month before, and hit the treadmill/exercise machines! The uphill / downhill walking left our legs aching for the first two days, but afterwards it was smooth sailing. Pack comfortable walking shoes, and leave the dress shoes for dinner.
