The Terrace itself is nothing exceptional but the (short) walk, to be extended on the Governors' Parkway, is pleasant and allows you to enjoy the view of the St. Lawrence.

Definitely worth staying here! We have been staying here fro over 30 years:) You can't beat this awesome location at an affordable price. The reception welcome is most helpful and the breakfast is well worth your while!

Outside of the Chateau Frontenac this is the focal point of Old Quebec. Built in 1879, the terrace is a fabulous place to walk and take in the sights and sounds of the city. Make sure you spend some time both day and night here. Great people watching and some interesting street musicians.

We staid at the hotel terrasse dufferin and walked this fantastic terrasse every morning for 3 lovely days, and every evening as well. The atmosphere, the views, the history all combine to make this a fantastic spot. This is the location my girlfriend became my fiancee.

In winter it makes a tremendously icy air… Even in March… Here in Quebec the cold is very intense, with temperatures up to — 15 degrees we were, but the Terrasa is quite enjoyed and the road is beautiful the view is not said is breathtaking beautiful… We would like to return… The truth is that we found accommodations fairly well located booking quite early and at very good prices here in Quebec the pictures are of my property and All rights reserved.

View of St. Lawrance river from the terrasse is amazing. Google map directions to walk up the hill to the terrasse is confusing. The streets to walk up the hill are not friendly to stroller. It will be a bumpy ride for the kids in the stroller. The terrasse is always crowded with visitors. If you are in Old Quebec City, don't miss to visit & spend some time on the Dufferin Terrasse.

It's all great. The architecture, the location to the harbour makes everything more amazing.

Incredible esplanade in the highest part of Viuex-Quebec. A privileged visit to the San Lorenzo River and the stunning Fairmont Château Frontenac hotel. The gazebos and the wooden floor make it especially attractive. From here you can access the Foniculaire or go down the public stairs towards Quartier Petit Champlain. No doubt an inflatable place in the view of Quebec.

Beautiful walk on the river San Lorenzo with very nice views to take fotagrafias. Walk or relax sitting on some bench watching the scenery and enjoy without rush.

You can see Saint Lawrence river and ferry terminal from this terrasse.

The Dufferin terrace is bordered by the Chateau Frontenac and the Citadel and affords the visitor stunning views of the river below, the lower town and distant vistas. Spend some time here to just look and relax. There is a cable car that takes you to the lower town and is a great site for photographs of the Chateau Frontenac above.

Beautiful place to walk even in winter. There is even a nice slide.

I live in Quebec and going there is always feel like it's the first time I'm visiting it. The atmosphere can turn from romantic to nostalgic with the musicians around. The view from the terrasse if amazing! Best to visit during summer with all the cruisers and the tourists flooding the place. Simply beautiful! Visit at night if you want a more relaxed time alone or with your partner. For winter, there's a slide! No matter the season, there will always be something to do or see! Always!

A beautiful view of the lower town and the ST. Lawrence by visiting the old town, you can see the statue of Samuel de Champlain as the founder of the city, then on the wooden esplanade dominating the river and the lower town. A beautiful view at the foot of Frontenac Castle.

Beautiful view of the port to visit absolutely, magnificent shot of the Château de Frontenac and on the port of Quebec! Animation all year round! Possibility from this place to get off on foot or by funicular!

The Dufferin Terrace offers a superb view of the beautiful St. Lawrence River. It is nice to walk around and enjoy it to admire the majestic Château Frontenac, emblem of Quebec City. A must when you visit Quebec.

Amusing and spectacular street entertainers. A nice view. Remnants of the past. Perfect for a nice summer evening.

There are plenty of seats along the way to rest or enjoy the view. At the top is a rotunda you can sit in and enjoy shelter from sun and toilets underneath.

A must see while visiting here. The views are spectacular and the architecture is absolutely amazing.

Very beautiful castle, with a beautiful terrace that overlooks the St Laurent. The visit of the cellars is also interesting. This is a beautiful monument not to be missed visiting Quebec.

Great view to see other side of river and to see the Chateau de frontenoc. There’s stairs to go down to the small archeological place (free). Also, we paid 3 cad for taking a lift to go to petit champlain street.

Great views over looking the river. Several skylights showing the original settlement with a stairs going into the settlement museum. Accesses the funicular to the old city. The end of the terrace has access to the Citadel.

Wonderful view of the Port and the river. Beautiful Frontenac Castle.

Beautiful walkway. A must-visit if you are in Quebec City. Go early as there are less tourists. You can get ice cream, coffee or sandwiches if you want.

Really touristy area (selfie sticks, cameras, and people everywhere) with nice views of the river. However, if you want an entire view of Old Quebec I'd recommend walking up the hill near La Citadelle de Quebec.

If there are in the Korean drama "Ghosts" of the people of this place must be no stranger!
This is a good view of the castle.
And the right side of the stands is the St. Lawrence River
There are some pavilions and chairs on the bleachers.
I'm not afraid to take a rest.

Go there at sunset to enjoy a spectacular views of the city. Parking is not easy to find during the season.

Wonderful staff. Great views and located close to everything. Staff was nice and helpful. We would stay there again.

It's a nice cozy hotel in a very old building, it may be lacking in modernity but charm is plenty. The service was very good as well.

It is very good, but suddenly the owners seem to enjoy at the expense of quality. The quality-price ratio is disastrous, 100 euros a night it's an exaggeration for a two-star with a tiny bathroom, a dated room, a Wi — Fi does not, no elevator to climb steep stairs with big suitcases, and breakfast not included.

Very good for a 2 star very accomdating.
