Great place to stay right in the centre of Old Quebec City short walk to all the great pubs a restaurants.

My wife and I and our three grown children (22, 20, and 18) just came back from a totally delightful and memorable 5-day stay at this gem of a hotel. Ron and Min could not be kinder or more attentive hosts. Each room is stylish, clean, and comfortable with air-conditioning, flat-screen tv’s, and totally dependable Wi-Fi that provided us with all we needed after each day’s shopping and sight-seeing. And let’s stop right there! Unless you can spend really big bucks at The Chateau Frontenac you will not find a better place to stay in Quebec City, period! Most importantly, the location and parking arrangements of this establishment CANNOT BE BEAT! This hotel has to be on every traveler’s short list when considering a stay in Quebec City. It is a delightful, charming hotel that is affordable — it is NOT budget. Five stars.

Good hotel, especially nice location in old Quebec. Of course, since we are in old Quebec, we must accept the age of the building with low sound insulation.
The room I had was well equipped and had a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom/toilet is a little small but new.
The reception is friendly and you will be given directions and an access card for an indoor parking — almost full.
In summary, I had a good night and I recommend for people who wish to move on foot or bus. Ideal for tourists thanks to the proximity of the most beautiful parts of Quebec.

Great small hotel, fresh croissants for breakfast every morning, really friendly staff.

Located in Old Quebec, Best Hotel Excellent big rooms, modern bathrooms with all facilities and most of that they have their own parking underground for that they provide pass for unlimited entry and exit during the stay, Even they told us we can keep the pass after the checkout till 3pm. Rooms are clean, smells good and very peaceful. I wish I would have stayed more there.

Owners are super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was nice. Not perfectly clean but very good. Beds are not pillow top comfortable but are good enough. Appropriate for the cost, good value.

This hotel was great. Lovely quaint older home, beautifully maintained. Room (one queen, one full) was small compared to chain hotels, but it was fine. It was quiet even though it seemed to be fully booked. Right off Governor's Square. Had to pay separately for parking (at nearby neighborhood garage), $22 a day. You can buy breakfast for $9 per person if you like, which we did one day. It was fine, but we love Paillard so we only did it one day when we were tight for time. Couple running the hotel were very nice and helpful.

The host was lovely couldn't ask for better. The room was very clean. Loved the decor. The only reason I wouldnt go back is because of the bed. It was not comfy at all, and because of this I only got a few hours sleep. Boyfriend slept the whole night though!

Excellent hotel placed in an excellent location. The rooms are large and have proper accommodations, the stuff is extremely nice and helpful and the prices aren't too high either! If you want a good bang for the price in a great location I would highly recommend this place.

My family has been staying at Chateau de Pierre whenever we visit Quebec City since 1972. It is in an excellent location in Old Quebec, just a block away from the Chateau Frontenac and Dufferin Terrace. Min and Ron are wonderful hosts and since they took over the hotel in 2012 they continue to make improvements. They offer a nice breakfast with warm croissants, yogurt, fruit, toast, etc. A good way to start your day. Chateau de Pierre is a beautiful, old townhouse with many period details. Rooms are clean and comfortable and you can really walk to all the points of interest in Old Quebec. We wouldn't stay in any other place in Quebec.

Had a lovely quiet room facing a small garden. Courtyard. Very attentive, friendly owners. Perfect location on a quieter street than many in the old town.

Wish we could have stayed for more than one night! This is a family-run business and you can tell they paid attention to the smallest of details to ensure you have the best stay, and this was indeed the best stay we had in Quebec! The hotel was very quaint and clean, and the staff was exceptionally thoughtful. A truly delightful stay in the heart of it all in Old Quebec City!

The location is perfect for walking in Old Quebec. The room was very clean. The reception was perfect and the owners are friendly. We enjoyed being able to count on a self-service breakfast: fresh croissant, fresh fruit, coffee, espresso, bread, yogurt, cereals. Certainly the bathroom is small, but one is in old Quebec near everything so you have to make compromises because the goal is not to stay in the room, but to visit. Thanks to the owners.

Hello I would like to mention how I loved my stay at the stone castle first when I got my booking was well saved the staff my very well received and when I arrive in my room I immediately noticed the cleanliness of the premises we see housekeeping does not pass the round corner it was really clean and the room smelled great good I recommend the stone castle for the quality and the cleanliness of the premises as well as a staff professional thanks again Luke B. Representative in the Amirats oil.

The room looks really good, but the bed is a bit uncomfortable, maybe a bit too stiff. The interior design is wonderful though.

Nice little auberge in the old city. Parking is about a block away and isn't cheap. The couple that owns the establishment are very sweet! We will return.

Lovely cozy hotel. Unbelievably clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Exactly what I have expected for a weekend trip to the city of Québec.

Slippers at the door. Shower for gods. Very kind service. No bacon. Lovely rooms. Amazing view. Great location. Sink malfunction is the only reason this review did not come with 5 stars. My love and I shall come again when we get the chance.
