The entire staff at this hotel are beyond incredible! These people know the meaning of the word "accommodate. " This is my home away from home. Come and stay! Find out for yourself.

Maid service non-existent pool freezing cold made the toddler cry. I expected more for the price. The pool was full with four people in it for it is very small and if it was heated you could of fooled me, my outside pool is warmer. The bed was very hard; hurt my bones I kept waking up. I asked at 9am when I found the maid in my hallway if I could get my garbage cans cleaned or if she could give me new garbage bags to put in, I was informed that they did not have any garbage bags. My grandchild had visited me the previous night and my cans had dirty diapers in them also my cans were overflowing. I waited all day for the maid to come to my room by 4:30 pm 7 hours after I had requested to have them emptied I took the garbage cans from my room and emptied them at a nearby shopping mall dumpster. A hour later I approached a maid to let her know that my cans were now emptied, that I had cleaned them myself. Maid responded with oh do you need your room cleaned I replied of course. She finally came to my room when I opened the door she requested my used towels and then proceeded to throw the new towels in my arms two fell on the floor. She did not come in and vacuum or offer me replacement coffee for the coffee maker; just threw towels at me and left. I have had better service at 2 star hotels.

A typical not so cheap budget hotel with a basic chain pub attached. Room was clean, but the whole place was in serious need of an update… worn carpets and bad paint coverups… Convenient for our needs as had a hospital stay and it was closer than our house…

You get what you pay for. Basic, no fuss accomodations. The air con was a little loud. Ample parking. Easy to find off the highway. Lots of food places nearby.

The rooms are nice the bed sucks. Its a hard bed very uncomfortable for me. But staff is pleasent rooms are clean.

Terrible value, bathroom is falling apart, ac doesnt work, beds suck, and all for a premium price. I feel bad not saying anything positive, so the restaurant, while bad, did not make me sick.

If you need a hotel in a pinch, this one will do. The room and the hotel in general were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the indoor pool was nice, and they are pet friendly which we needed them to be. The restaurant that’s right next to it has a good breakfast and is very convenient. That being said, the room we were in was TINY. With the dog bed, we could bare circulate (we do have a large dog, though). There was a bad smell in the hallway that lead to our room, but the room itself was fine. The hotel is really outdated and need an overhaul. The bath tub in our room was very clean but in really bad shape. The enamel was chipped and the anti slip were half gone.

Room was clean, nice and quiet, front desk staff very kind. Would defently go back and recommend.

Stayed here many times, always for just one night. Very basic but good location and having the restaurant across the breezeway is convenient (warning not a fabulous place). No one is ever in the pool so I enjoy taking a dip. Front desk staff is very variable. Price is right, hence 4 stars.

The pillows were to small (I didn't ask for bigger ones due to St. Patty's Day exhaustion). The fan in the bathroom sounded like a huge truck was constantly outside, idling. Other than that, an enjoyable stay.

As we got here Steph smile and customer service was outstanding. Being in customer service you tend to be the the worst critic but she made sure we were well taken care of. Thxs Steph.

Need a can of renovation!

It is an older building, upgrading the floors to laminate or wood would make a huge difference. It is clean, staff is very nice, adjacent restaurant bar & grill has a superm breakfast. Pool is small but still fun for the kids.

I would Not recommend this Place to My enemy! The smell of the room was extremely overwhelmingly disgusting. The rooms are small and cramped up with old outdated jumbo furniture! I was there less than 15 minutes before getting a full refund. Thanks to Expedia wonderful customer service. The Desk clerk seemed a little frustrated but he did offer us a bigger room. Which smelled even worse when I asked him what the smell was. He said. Air freshener : (The Pool was closed for repairs. I trotted on over to The Hilton Lac Leamy which was. Delightful!

Bad smell in our room. Had to be move. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast.

I had a problem in my room… but the service rendered by the young lady Stephanie was impeccable. She was very smiling and offered us a good French service. All in all our stay at Travelodge was very good. I'll go back.

Room to renovate, decoration very watch… The painting tortoise… Too expensive for the quality of the room.

Beds are quite firm. Service was excellent. Breakfast not included. Pool is small but fine. Price is reasonable.

Disgusting not clean bugs in room left room with 8n first half hour at least they gave money back without question. 8 guess they already knew about the crawling bugs everywhere. Id give zero but the ckerk was nice.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Quiet location. There were ants crawling around the bathroom, there was long dark hair on some of the towels and the mattress was softer on one side giving me the feeling I was going to roll out of bed.

Staff were pleasant. I really liked that there was a restaurant attached. Rooms are nice, clean. If you overheat easily, you will want to pull off the top sheet (the one unde the comforter) as it traps heat (great if you get cold easy). Would stay there again :)

Clean room, sheets were soft, pillows weren't too limp. It was just a quick stay, all we needed was a bed to sleep in.

Prices reasonable. Shopping nearby and Broadway restaurant shares same parking lot gas amazing food especially breakfast. Easy access to free way made it easy to get around. No bed bugs!

The pillows and bed are hard as rocks. If your looking for quick cheap things it's perfect! If your looking for comfort. Keep looking and remember you get what you pay for! happy travels.

The hotel is good, but the prices are expensive for the quality, the beds are spring and the stuffing of the pillows is mottoneux. Several television sets offered, microwave and fridge provided.

This is one of the of the most outdated-looking hotels I've been to in recent years. Rooms are small, AC in the room was loud. There is no AC in the hall. Instead there was a fan running right next to my room. Service is friendly. There are no lines on the parking lot and apparently some people have no clue how to park. It's a convenient location but way overpriced for what you get. Other than convenience there's not much that would make me stay there again.

Our first room smelled weird but the workers were quick to give us another one. My fiance and I had a hard time sleeping because the air conditoner was SOOOO loud. I did tell the workers but was just told it would be looked into. Nice customer service workers at front desk though.

Great price, very well located, friendly staff. Little outdated but who really cares. Room did smell a little musky, but overall really good.

I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone unless you were in a bind. We had to get a pet friendly unit as we were traveling with our pet. We pull into the parking lot and it looks decent until you see the end of the lot… The back building is very run down, I try not to judge by the outside but then we walk into the room. What a smell. It smelt so musty, I thought I could be sick. The room was completely outdated, the book they leave for you had things crossed out as they no longer offer certain services, there were ant traps in corners of the room, the bathtub had lost it's caulking so it smelt like mould, I couldn't get out of the shower fast enough, there was paint missing in the walls… Meanwhile we paid $150 for ONE night here. I wouldn't recommend this place, if we weren't on such a tight schedule we would have stayed somewhere else.

We were on the first floor, room 111. The service was fast and the hotel was quiet. We also got upgraded from a Queen to a King bed, which was a pleasant surprise. Our room was clean and cozy. The room was a little cold, but otherwise a good experience!

Staff is really nice, there's a pool and there are a lot of stores close by in case you need anything. A little bit out of the way from downtown and can be annoying to get to during rush hour but lyher than that it's great.

There's a secret to using the card key. Push it to the left and pull up as you withdraw. Good luck getting in your room if you don't know this trick.

Being located right off the highway, the Travelodges bar makes for an easy place to get to. Staff is friendly and service is always on point!

The day after I left I woke up with a crusty eye (pink eye). Can I be sure it was from travelodge ottawa east? No, but it sure is a hell of a coincidence, being as it's the only new surface I slept on in a long time and I was only away from home one night. The paper tissues also had a mystery blue streak on them, which was fun… For 140 bucks a night, i'd expect the room and TISSUES to be clean.

I will definitely stay at this hotel again. The girl at the front desk even provided me with some complimentary cans of pop because the pop machine was out of my preference. To top it all off, the attached restaurant had delicious food and was a great place to have breakfast after checking out, before we hit the road.

The hotel is pretty close to the speedway The breakfast was great The rooms were quite but now very clean The washrooms worked well and we're clean I would return.

Very nice rooms and staff. In my profession I need sleep and the noise that you can hear outside is unbelievable.

Rooms are pretty small, pool is also very small. There is no gym. The only saving feature of the hotel is the good continental breakfast next-door.

In today's day in age…what property does not except cash as a form of payment. Also hotel lobby looks used and dirty.

Great friendly staff and reception. Rooms are old, dated and generally the hotel and rooms smell musty. Beds were ok, rooms were as clean as they could be. We were here for a hockey tournament and booked here by an event management company. Lots of construction and renos happening though.

One of the worst hotels ever! I could have stayed at the Hilton for the same price! Hallways stink. Rooms smell bad and full of bugs.

I was greated good had my room on the 3rd floor. Got off elevator and the smoke smell was unreal. The room smelled like smoke. Will not be staying at this place again. What happen to the smoking bylaw. What is Ottawa special Oh wait Canada is a lie and a fraud.

Recently spent the weekend at the Travelodge Ottawa East while in Ottawa for my son's hockey tournament. For those that have spent a weekend with 17 — 10 year old boys, would know that this can be a challenge. Not the Travelodge Ottawa East. Candace from the front office went above and beyond the call of duty. One night she found an available room for several of the parents to hang out in well into the wee hours of the night. On the second night she made the meeting room on the main floor available to the team and parents to hang out in. The kids were in Mini-Sticks hockey heaven. Thanks to Candace and the rest of the staff at the Travelodge Ottawa East.

Small room, nothing special. Alright for the price.

Two stars at best — if you can get it for sub $80/night Pro -friendly staff -near major highway -descent lighting Cons -dated -poor repair in bathroom (damaged cracked caulking in tub) -small rooms -institutional yellow paint -loud hallway noise if you just need a place to sleep for sub $80 you may have found your hotel, if you are planning on doing anything other than sleeping and leaving,,. Move along.

Comfortable enough. Tub was not very clean. Excellent Bar and Grill very close by. Rate was reasonable. We arrived early by a couple of hours and we were able to use our room.

Love this place because it is cheap and has a pool.
