Review of Les Suites Hotel 3*

We just came back to Texas from our unforgettable Canadian tour in December. For the last 10 days of 2015 we visited Ottawa for Christmas and stayed at the Hotel with our daughters. Although the weather was a little bit warmer than expected, we enjoyed our time a lot! Central location, picturesque neighborhood, friendly and helpful staff, great city view from the 20th floor were not the only benefits The Les Suites offered to us. We appreciated the clean and cozy two bedroom suit, in-room washer and dryer, and full size kitchen with all necessities. The housekeeping exceeded the expectations, all towels and bedding were changed daily, and bath supplies were replaced immediately. It was really quiet time, not much disturbance from the construction noticed by other reviewers. Yes indeed we spot checked many homeless characters around but unfortunately they are an inherent part of all downtowns, you just need to be aware about them. Living in the center of Ottawa we managed to save some $$ on car rental, as all attractions are within walking distance: Parliament, Cathedral, Museums, historical buildings, ByWard Market and shopping malls. We mentioned our family's anniversary while calling the Hotel a little bit in advance to confirm the booking, and were greeted with the warm congratulations upon arrival. It was really nice touch to receive a little note and chocolate box from the General Manager. Being the Winner of the Star Property in Ottawa The Les Suites deserves it's solid reputation as the one of the best hotel in the capital of Canada. We wish a Happy New Year to the Hotel staff and management. Well done!
