Was told one price. And they upped it as I was booking the first night. Stayed 3 nights. Guy was nice enough to bring a fan for me to use Initial feeling the room appeared clean. Bathroom looked sloppy. Dirty. Third night we found 2 jumbo bedbugs just running across the pillow and mattress. (We drowned them and left them like mints on the pillows) Came home and had to heat/sanitize/kill anything in the dryer. Plus side: Close to greyhound. Never tried the breakfast.

The staff is very welcoming! The lady in the morning makes amazing breakfast. Price is very reasonable compared to hotels nearby! Clean and close to downtown!

Can also, the room is basically very clean, the landlord attitude is also very good, is the house a little bit not soundproofed, other experience I think can also, next if you have the opportunity to book again …

Worth it's price, decent breakfast, awful bed but quiet.

There was a strong cannabis smell during at night. I barely could fall asleep because of that.

We had a nice weekend with friends.

Terrible location. Noisy, filthy and limited payment options. Someone travelling with me picked up bedbugs here. Found drunk people sleeping in the breakfast area when I got up in the morning… They wouldn't take a corporate American Express card and required pre-payment.

So we were not satisfied with this accommodation. Our room was so small that we had to constantly climb over our clothes. The heating in the house was so warm that we could barely breathe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For this price it was just not acceptable.

The staff at the site are very friendly. Highly recommended the stay in this place. It is a series of small houses adjoining on the same street, of wood, very well conditioned and air-conditioned. Depending on the room you have booked, you will be touched in one of them. The main house marked is as much a reception as the place where the breakfast is served free. Breakfast is very complete, eggs, pancakes, coffee, milk, juice, jam, bread, etc. The rooms have their own flat screen and access to Internet programming and Wi-Fi access. They are not very soundproof the walls, but it is a quiet place. The location is excellent, on the back street of the Ottawa bus station and a maximum 25min walked from the site to the historic center. It also has a couple of blocks bus stops, if you don't want to do the stretches on foot to the center and back.

The Lord and the young reception were not friendly, they were never at the reception to cater for accommodation needs. I would not recommend it, very small house and neglected in the maintenance. The installation would be acceptable if people were friendly.

Our room was cramped, one of the beds had a virtually collapsed mattress, and there was no screen in our window, so we could not open our window despite the heat wave and lack of A/C. But on the plus side, this helped keep out the sounds of the bus depot across the street. For the rates, you'd be better off finding a cheap motel.

Not clean. Hair and stains in both beds. Tv doesn't work. It was midnight when we arrived otherwise I would find a differemt place. I do not expect much for 100 bucks but at least clean. This place is disgusting. And mobody here to ask for clean sheets. The guy just left. I do not recommended this place to anyone.

Good for the price, my room had a mini fridge and a small tv. Had to share a bathroom, therefore had to wait to shower in the morning. For breakfast there were no instructions on how we get our food, but got told by another customer that they just had theirs brought out to them so I waited. I had to catch a bus so I asked how long until I would be served. They said they thought I said I didn't want pancakes, even though I hadn't talked to them at all before that, and that they were all gone now. I had to leave, so I didn't get breakfast.

The bulb for the room blew, the bedsheets had permentent stains, they claimed to have a 24hr desk however no one was home until the 3pm check in time, the area is very loud during the night, nothing was done when other guests were being very loud at 4am, there was no soap for the washroom, and the included breakfast was drinks, eggs, and toast. On the plus side, we checked in when we were supposed to, the bed was comfy, the room's lamp worked, and it was very cheap.

Best place for the value. Close to city center. Don't judge by the outside. Rooms are comfortable. Get a room with private bathroom. Friendly staff and filling breakfast. Cons are no ac, next to the bus terminal so it gets noisey.

The apartment we stayed in was great for our needs as there were 8 of us. It was clean and the proprieters were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking for nice budget accomodations.

Had an apartment which let us sleep 8 for a few nights that included a simple kitchen for light meals. Breakfast was included and did the job, Wi-Fi worked fine. The owners were nice and made sure the kids had something they would eat. Good value and close to what we were here to see.

Well located accommodation, next to the bus station and twenty minutes walk from the downtown area. The beds are very well, at least in our room. Clean and comfortable.

The only place that has a fair price and locates close to many Ottawa tourist attractions, the bus station and the tulip park. Sweet staff and pretty good breakfast. Don't suggest to live for more than three nights since it's too close to the bus station and in the early midnight it could be noisy. But it's the perfect place to live for just two nights! Be careful when book the room. Choose the one with an individual bathroom included! And bring your own toothpaste!

I was not impressed with this place at all. There was only one bathroom offered to us. In the morning someone was having a (very long) shower, and I really needed to use the toilet. There definitely needed to be another 2 piece bath offered. There was a small T. V in the room, however, it did not work! There was no decorating at all. Very bland boring looking. The breakfast, We were never given a choice. It was warm bread (toast? ) with an egg dish and some home fries. It was handed to us as we sat down; there was no other choices. I had 1/2 cup coffee, and then no more coffee was provided. There was no free parking, so I had to park on the street. My car windows were smashed and my car was ransacked during the middle of the night. I should have requested my money back. I would NEVER recommend this place.

This place was cozy, there weren't many guests but it is in a nice location and was fairly quiet, they are currently going under renovations so I hope that goes well for them.

Very clean bathroom yet kind of expensive. The walls are so thin you can hear every single person in the house. Can't complain thought.

Warm and friendly staff at the guest house. Clean and small room with Air conditioning, that, comes handy in the hot and humid Ottawa Summer. The breakfast was small, but decent enough. Good venue for parents of Uni students, as quite a few stayed there and it's local to uOttawa especially.

Good value. Simple accomidation. The lady working there was very hospitable and kind. Fantastic FREE Breakfast in the morning! Eggs the way you like them, home fries, toast, tea, coffee, juice, milk fruit, donuts, muffins, cereal. You won't go hungry. Parking available. Close to downtown, bus station, ect.
