Thanks for making my son’s birthday special. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Everything was wonderful from the staff the room and the restaurant.

Best luxury hotel in Niagara Falls that I have stayed at. The pool is a 5 star and definitely the best feature of the hotel. The Fallsview suite was spacious and perfect for a small family. The property itself is very impressive and well taken care of.

We had a 1 night stay on March 12/22 — the hotel renovations to the lobby and exterior and pool are stunning! The rooms could use a refresher but the beds were great. I’m not a fan of soft pillows but that’s just preference! The hotel, rooms and all areas are spotless. We did not go to restaurant on site because we wanted dinner but only availability on arrival at 5 pm was 9 pm or after. It was very quiet until about 1am and the people next door to us started talking and watching tv. Although I could not make out conversation, I could hear talking! It didn’t last long though. We enjoyed our stay all told and would stay again!

We had a wonderful visit! The hotel is very nice, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub very much. A great view of the area and we watched the fireworks from our room. Within walking distance to a lot of amenities!

Staff was not pleasant at all. Rooms were ok. We had a few of the roof no falls to be seen!

Worst experience at a hotel ever… first room had dirty underwear in it, second room the staff couldn’t or wouldn’t stop someone on the floor from smoking, so we had to move all our stuff at 9pm. 3rd room in 5 nights was fine other then the fact that the hotel itself doesn’t have air conditioning currently, which might have been tolerable if they weren’t still pumping heat into the building making sleep almost impossible. Will not be back!

Pandemic wedding. 10 people max, no banquet halls, no restaurants. Still had a reception (one household, read 2 people per room. Food delivered, and outstanding. Their logistics must be difficult. Truly outstanding service, staff that filled our every need; really, just first class. Highly, highly recommended. Will be back. Period.

This is a beautiful property with helpful and friendly staff. The food was excellent, and as always, the cookies are to die for. The rooms are very clean and spacious with a breathtaking view of the American Falls from the Fallsview rooms. I highly recommend this property and will certainly be back for future stays.

This was the first time at this hotel we come to the falls like every other weekend and have spent time in a lot of the hotels here. Our daughter lives here so that's why we come alot. When we checked in they gave us these yummy cookies omg that's so cool. The room was nice went down to the pool with our grandson pool was a nice size does also have a other lap pool too. And a hot tub. Will for sure stay here again.

The room was very nice. We came during the off season. The staff are friendly. Food in the restaurant was great. Stayed with our two kids. Only draw back was that the pool was closed for some updating. Nothing and no one mentioned it. Had no idea until we entered the pool area.

I have been staying there for the last 14 years, and lately I believe that it’s not the same. The last 4 times, after hours noise above our room! smelly room on one occasion (cleaning staff told us the last people had a crock pot in there) I’ve gone to speak to front desk so many times. With all the trouble we’ve had the breakfast as a kind gesture doesn’t cover it! It’s not the same anymore. We will be returning on Saturday for a one night stay because the kids love it.

Very comfortable beds and quite room. We stayed on the 17th floor and view was spectacular. They are serving delicious breakfast. If you want relax, you can use the spa. The location is great close to all shops, restuarants.

Lovely 2 night stay. Fantastic location and views and very large rooms.

A very nice hotel, great value compared to others around the area. You will need a high floor room to get a glimpse of the Niagara Falls river and partial of the falls. Best part about the hotel is the convenience of self parking, makes it very easy to get about Niagara falls without waiting about an hour like other hotels to bring the car up and it's only $10 a day compared to $35+ someplace else.

My family has stayed here many times and have not been disappointed. The rooms are clean and the staff a very friendly. The breakfast offered in the hotel has a good deal of variety (pancakes, eggs, omelettes, pastries, cereal, sausages, toast, oatmeal). The pool is great. There are 2 pools. One is for adults. There is a hotub. There is a sauna as well. Parking is good (paid, but good amount of spots). Walking distance to entertainment.

Reception staff friendly and efficient. Room comfortable, however as others have commented a bit dated. Bathroom is snug and shower I found difficult to operate. Disappointed that housekeeping had not made it to our room by 4pm so had to seek out and replenish our own coffee.

Love the hotel, love the room, good service, good location. I will never accept the backhanded policy of advertising a room rate and then finding out that parking is 16 bucks per day on top of the advertised rate on your own property! This is misleading and unacceptable. If a charge is mandatory include it in the price of the room and be done with it. To be fair it seems most Niagara Falls hotels are adopting this practice but I will continue to give my business to those who have not. I encourage others to do the same.

I would give it zero stars if it was an option. Room 1-came in to the bathroom with a giant shit waiting for us in the toilet. Mini fridge didn’t work and the most uncomfortable mattress EVER! If you’re over 5’ 5” you will not be fitting in the shower. Room 2-the tub was full of water from the previous guest and wouldn’t drain. Called front desk at check in and was assured all issues would be resolved by the time we got back from getting dinner. Three hours later and they were not. I should note it was close to 90 degrees outside! I want to shower after visiting the Falls all day in the summer sun!

I wish I had taken pictures of the room and not only of myself however the room is very clean! Washroom very clean. Bed was comfy. Service at the front desk was great. They have Wi-Fi. I enjoyed my stay. However the downside to this hotel! I’ve been here a few times and every time you find people who can not park! There licence plates are always American they just park on the lines taking up the spot next to them which is frustrating because this lot is usually full. I wish the hotel would be more aggressive on their parking enforcement to whomever doesn’t park properly. Other than that hotel is 5 stars. Please note I didn’t try there food. Also the mini fridge in the room doesn’t come with any drinks not even water. Coffee and tea machine in the room. But there is no variety for tea. Literally 1 tea bag. So no choice.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Everything is expensive because of the location. $17.95 for breakfast, $16 daily for parking. Not sure if I would stay here again because you can’t see the falls from the hotel & it’s a good walking distance from Clifton Hill. If I’m gonna pay $300 per night, I expect a little more. It’s no fault of the hotel it just happened to be in a not so great location.

We reserved for a standard room and upgraded to Fall View Room… ($50/= extra) … We are glad we did it… Really a great view. We wish we can stay for more than one night. Hopefully next time. The property is very clean and we didn't explore other facilities, but love to stay again. But I cannot accept they charge for parking $20/=

Lobby is definitely the main feature… Rooms are adequate but nothing special some what dated… Front desk staff seems to lack experience for some but extremely personal and professional for others… Buffet breakfast was better than most in the falls and the wait staff are very friendly… Spa was worth the price. All in all not a bad experience but not a special one either.

For the price paid and being a silver honors members I expected so much more. The pull out sofa bed was horrendous. I’ve never slept on something more uncomfortable. The bathroom smelled very very moldy. We realized it was the shower curtain that smelled so bad. Lastly, the food at the breakfast “buffet” was not good at all. There were not a lot of options for the price paid compared to other buffets. Our server was not very helpful. Had to ask for a refill 3 times and she got my first omelet order wrong. I wish I could say that we would be back, but we won’t. I really expect so much more from Hilton.

Stayed here while visiting the Canadian side of the Niagra falls. Had a king room with a 2 person Whirlpool and a view of the US falls. The room and the view were amazing. The hotel is within walking distance of great food and attractions on the Canadian side and a short drive over the Rainbow Bridge to the US side. The bar in the lobby has some excellent local craft beer selections and the pool area was wonderful, as was the dry sauna. The service was excellent, as it always is at Hilton properties.

The staff was great. The view from the top floor was awesome. The vibe was classy and homey. They gave me a hot cookie when we walked in — couldn't eat it as a vegan, but a nice gesture. The bed was a little too soft for Goldie locks though ;)

This hotel is great, very comfortable and much better than we expected for the price. It is well, located amongst the main attractions and easy to find. I would definitely recommend and return.

Our experience with the restaurant was pretty awful. The food was both expensive and terrible and the staff was fairly rude. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. The suite was a huge bedroom with a small living room area with a pull out couch. It did have a mini fridge, but none of the other typical suite appliances. The discrepancy in room sizes was insane. My kids shared the pullout couch (as planned). It took up the whole living area making it difficult to navigate the room, but the boys loved it and said it was comfortable. Also they say that their are American Falls views. You can just see the top of the falls. If the trees had leaves on them you probably wouldn't see anything. It was easy to walk most places from the hotel though and parking was much cheaper than other hotels.

Was at Buchanan's steak house. Great service and atmosphere. Food preparation was good but the cooking of it wasn't. Our appetizer was burned on one end. Should of never left the kitchen like that. The grill was too hot. We ordered steaks at med well, they came really charred on the outside but still too pink on the inside. For being a high end place, and the considering the price, I wouldn't go back.

The hotel was very nice, clean rooms, attentive and helpful staff. I needed some extra pillows, and they were quick to bring them up. The business center was nice, functional, and very easy to access and use. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is lovely. The service is not. I am paying $16 to park off site — no pathway or lit sidewalk back to the hotel — just a dark, pot hole ridden road to walk along. I asked for a late check out — just an extra hour — nothing drastic. I have to check back on the morning — after I have to depart for our dance competition — because the night manager is unable to authorize a late check out! Seriously? Why bother signing up for a Hilton Honours membership? It took me just as long to check in despite my 'online check in' as my friends who aren't members, and now I am being dinged for parking, and unable to get a late check out. Can't say that I'll be back — your cookies aren't that good.

Nice place. We didn't have a falls view but maybe some rooms do. Room and rest of hotel are clean and comfortable. Parking is good and it's walking distance to Falls and most other attractions. Big indoor pool area.

The rooms was clean (king whirlpool Fallsview) it was a okay view from the 19th floor could see both falls. The pool area was nice, it’s nice there is a separate pool for adults. The room was spacious & comfortable. 16$ a day to park but that’s worth it compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in the area. I will definitely be returning next visit to the Falls.

Terrific value for location and amenities. The rooms are very spacious, clean and modern. The inside decor is incredible in the lobby and matches the outside nicely. The welcome cookie is one of my favorite things and the staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommended if you're going to stay in the Niagara Falls area. Honestly, my favorite hotel there, especially for the value.

The rooms are big and spacious. The location is perfect. It was close to casino but far enough where it wasn't overly crowded. The service was amazing. The spa was the best I've been to. Great experience. I would definitely go again.

Wonderful experience here. Greeted with cookies, clean room, friendly staff, great amenities. Though we were only there for one night it was a pleasurable experience. Will defenitley be my Hotel of choice next time I return to Niagara!

We stayed here over a weekend in December, and it was a great experience. The front desk staff members were all extremely friendly, and the room was impeccably clean (which can be hard to come by in Niagara Falls). They even give you free, warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in! The hotel as a whole also has a great ambience and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We will definitely stay here again!

The rooms are incredible, the hotel is very clean, and the cookies are delicious! I would give this hotel 5 stars but the front desk staff is really disappointing. No expression, no kindness, no willingness to help guests. I'd give a full 5 star review if only the front desk team didn't seem so miserable on the job. You're in hospitality, you should be more hospitable.

First at check in on friday night around 8pm the attendant told us he didn't want to be there but at least he only had 1 hour left to his shift. Second the lights in the room were unplug. Third we called for room service to order breakfast at 9:30am no one answered the phone so we had to leave a message with our name and room #. By 10:30 we decided to go get our own breakfast. When we got to the lobby the 3 attendants were no busy and they were all just doing thing on the computer. The little breakfast restaurant was empty and the cashier was flirting with the cleaning lady. Anyway we went to Tim Hortons one block away for breakfast.

Stayed overnight at the hotel with family in a suite. Location was close enough to the outlet mall, with a LCBO nearby. Staff were very friendly, rooms clean. Sauna, pool and tub open until 10 pm. Bar area serves starbucks coffee. Happy with our stay.

We stayed here years ago and came back for a wedding. The view at night is immaculate. Service was outstanding. Friendly and warm welcomes. The room was moderate and clean. Bed was comfy and everyone was friendly. Housekeeping was amazing. The young lady that came to clean my room was nice enough to help me wrap a gift. She did it with a smile and a big no problem, even though it wasn’t her job, I appreciated how she took the time to do this and go out of her way and be so generous. Over all great experience and can’t wait to come back again this summer.

We stayed on the 17th floor with great views of the town, American Falls and Niagara River. The staff ~friendly and room very clean and comfortable (the shower had great water pressure)! Although walls / door thin as we were awakened several times thru night / early AM by loud talking, laughing and music. … not the hotel personnel fault.
We walked (all downhill, so be prepared for uphill to return) to Falls and around town from hotel as it is close enough, yet distanced from traffic and casinos. Well stocked Gift shop on site as with fun folks to chat with and convenient with variety of souvenir items if you are a one shop type. We did not use the restaurant on site, but walked to our eating venues for both dinner and breakfast. So even tho we were charged $15 for parking, it did spare us the hassle of driving around town parking elsewhere.
We would stay here again. Cozy and comfortable.

DoubleTree Fallsview is an awesome place to get a sound sleep at night. The room I stayed in was clean and beds comfortable. Has a Starbucks in the lobby along with a spa store. There is also a Buchanan on the second floor. Great place to spend the night and super close to the falls.

Good location; US Falls view rooms aren't worth the amount they charge… You're charged $15+tax per day on site parking… but it's at your own risk. Warm cookies at checkin are nice! Overall an 'Okay' experience because for that amount a Canada Falls view room can be booked at another location.

The hotel is a bit far from the falls comparing to other 4 stars around. So the view is not so superb. This is probably the only issue. The room is great. Especially the bed is so comfy. Very clean. The service is on par.

18th Floor, 180 degree view on Niagara Falls. The room we had the chance to occupy is magical. The hotel does not have its own breakfast service but a Starbuck on site and a IHOP right in front. A 10-minute walk from all the attractions, an on-site parking. Everything is perfect.

We spent four days at the hotel double Tree Falls View in July 2017 me my wife and my 3 children it was great, very clean, good service, I recommend it to the world.

Spent 3 nights here in a double suite. Beds extremely comfy and rooms outfitted well. Staff friendly. Breakfast and overnight parking are not free which took me by surprise — but both were worth the extra money. The only major downside was two elevators for 19 floors (100+ and rooms). Some mornings I had to wait 5-10 minutes to use the elevator. Try to get a low floor so you can use the stairs. Overall good experience.

We had a king suite on the 5th floor. The falls were not visible, though we could see the upper river and had a nice view of the fireworks each night. The room read clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. Our room key cards Seemed extra sensitive… Both of them erased just bring next to other credit cards.

Suite was over the top, huge with a lounge office space and king bed but let down by the poor view which was a falls view but only just. It was on the 16th floor, needed to be higher.

Great experience! Upon check in we received warm complementary chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. Check in was easy and quick. The staff was very polite and attentive. All the facilities and our room were spotless! I especially loved that the hotel lobby had a cozy "Lodge Feel" to it. IT was absolutely perfect for a quick weekend spa getaway. Overall we had a great experience, however we were a bit surprised to be paying $15 for parking when all the surrounding parking lots were $5

This is a great hotel. On two different Wego routes within walking distance to the falls or Clifton Hill. The pool is very well done and the brakfast was exceptional.

We stayed on the 8th floor in a suite. It was very nice. Beds comfortable and everything was clean and well-maintained. We used the pool — beautiful. We ate at the in house restaurant for breakfast. Food was good. It had wego bus stops close-by. It was a nice walk to the falls and wasn't far from other major attractions. I would recommend it.

I am now currently staying at this lousy hotel. Upon check in, I was attended by a rude nonchalant staff. The lotions were not replaced and we had a half used bottle. The sugar packs for the complimentary coffee was opened and obviously not replaced. Speaking of complimentary, there was no complimentary bottled water and no bedroom sandals given (Sheraton and Intercontinental subsidiary hotels gave those freely but not the doubletree). The coffee maker is dirty with grime near the coffee brewing holder and water tank. Lousy service and I am not glad and they have the gall to state that they will do everything they can to make sure I am glad.

Delightfully surprised by the ambiance of the property, front lobby, and facilities. The 18th floor room with 1 King and a MASSIVE bathroom. Sunday night fireworks were a delight seen from the 18th floor — — as was the view of the Niagara River gorge… American Falls. There was only a bit of a view of the Horseshoe Falls… but OH-MY! We couldn't stop looking out the window. Speaking of windows — there was fresh air ventilation.! The bathroom was the stuff of Spa-luxury; it featured a 2-person Jacuzzi (snuggle-up, Buttercup! ), vanity and best of all — the Toilet /Shower being separated behind a sliding door with a ventilator! (key for me when traveling. ) Property & rooms were very clean. Doubletree gives the warmest welcomes: warm Choco-chip Cookies, that is! A fire burning in the lobby seating area, which had a Cottage Country Lodge decor, Tiffany lamps — inviting, warm and cozy. "MOOSE & SQUIRREL" Coffee Bar served all sorts of treats & Starbuck's coffee. DREAMY was the Aveda Spa which offered lots of specials. Parking was super-reasonable at $15 /night during our mid-May stay. We plan to be back! The price is great! Staff were especially friendly in every encounter, fast when needed. We were treated to a breakfast at Buchanan's Steak House. Tues. Morning was "A La Carte" and the prices were SO reasonable! the food so tasty! $9.00 for very ample delicious fare. Conveniently located on the hill above the falls. Easy access by bus, foot or car to anywhere in Niagara Falls.

Fairly good hotel with good rooms and a great looking lobby. You have to pay for parking which is a whopping 15$ a day and no breakfast is included so if you're looking for a budget option, there are way better choices out here. My room was a bit dated and the bathroom in mine was cramped but it did the job. A nice touch is the USB ports in the wall sockets. My room was a value room but did come with a coffee machine and a small fridge. Soundproofing isn't top notch but guests where quiet during my stay.

Not impressed at all. Was here for a wedding and stayed 2 nights and I was a part of the wedding party… along with things that were wrong with the execution of the reception, our room was over priced compared to the competition. Food allergies were forgotten, the prime rib was over cooked and un edible. Empty boxes were left on the table at cocktail hour. And the morning after the wedding, room service pounded on our door at 10am… even though we were staying the extra night and it wasn't even check out time yet. Front desk was unfriendly and unhelpful. Unprofessional all around. We were charged for parking even though parking for wedding guests was supposed to be paid for as a part of the wedding package, all other guests were not charged. I've stayed at other hotels in Niagara and I would recommend another establishment. The only thing it has going for it is that it is a beautiful hotel and the pool and gym amenities were very nice.

Good clean tidy rooms. Very spacious. The shower in the bathroom could do with an upgrade (not a fan of bathtubs) and no body wash was provided. I don't like using bars of soap. Excellent view of the falls, though if we were lower or facing the other way the view wouldn't be very spectacular. Not much can be done about the neighbours though. Nice and close to Clifton Hills and the falls. Desk staff were very friendly. I've never had to wait on someone to check the rooms before I could check out though. Very strange but at least it didn't take long.

I'm giving it 2 stars simply because it was a clean hotel and offered smoking room options (which many hotels don't anymore). However, we had several issues with the hotel (and more now that I'm seeing my credit card statement). First, when I called to book, I asked if they had an electric car charger, as we were traveling in a Tesla. I was told that they did so I went ahead and booked. When we got there, we quickly found that there was no electric car charger, nonetheless, they said that they had outlets that we could plug into. Not really the same thing but alas… we're flexible people. We plugged in and went to bed. We found out the next morning though, that the outdoor plugs had no power as the car didn't charge at all. Consequently, we had to find a charging station at another hotel and wait for the car to charge. We asked for late checkout, which they granted us until 2pm, supposedly free of charge. We had also received the invoice that morning that totaled ~$230. This included that parking fee, the room fee, and the DMDF tax (which you don't have to pay btw. I did not dispute this originally but I will now… read on…) I checked my credit card statement today to find that the DoubleTree had charged me $25 at the time of booking, which was never indicated to me and I'm not sure what this charge is for exactly, and then went ahead and charged me $272 after we left.

Went there on Valentines, service was good but room service was slow, had to wait for a coffee for 15 minutes. Room and bed was comfortable but toilet seat is old, uncomfortable and the water tank of the flush was 21 ltr or the biggest I ever seen, felt bad everytime I flushed. Need some upgrades in the washrooms.

The most amazing stay I've ever had! Beautiful clean rooms, BEYOND excellent service and the view was just excellent. My boyfriend and I had been planning a birthday trip for him and it usually falls during the winter time so it was nice and quiet as well. Helpful staff and amazing SPA/Hot tub. Will always be my top choice.

Fantastic service. The two check-in warmed cookies was cute! Loved the adult-only pool and dry sauna. Found out the hair dryer in our room was broken, and someone was at our door replacing it in less than five minutes. This is now my favorite place to stay.

Beautiful cottage feel hotel. Checked in and received delicious cookies from the front desk! Nice gesture. Rooms were big, bright and clean. Comfy beds and pillows. Floor 17 has beautiful view of the falls.

I was allocated at the 14tg floor with a good view of Clifton Hill & Skylon Tower. The fireworks display was a bonus for the night. Facilities were amazing. The pool, hot tub and gym was awesome. Only problem is a small complaint is the $13 per night parking and bad door access card system. Ok had to go to the front desk twice to get it corrected. First time fixed the second card but wrecked access for first card. Second visit fixed everything.

I was this Friday Night at the Double Tree Hotel. I have to say the Staff was great but the Bed sheets and Pillows smelled bad. The cleaning could really have been better. The Hotel also could use a update you see things starting to wear in the Room. My last stay was way more pleasant.

Best Hotel that I have ever said in. In my opinion the room was 5 stars and the restaurant was great. I plan to go in June! I would really recommend this hotel to anyone going to Niagara Falls! 19th floor is a fabulous view of Niagara Falls.

We stayed on the 19 th Floor. We really enjoyed our room. Great view of the falls even wifh it being a couple of blocks away. My son and I decided to stop for a day after dropping his brother off at school. Nice, really nice. Everything is close if you don't mind a little walk. Beware of the $13 parking fee. We will stay again.

We loved our stay at the Double Tree Fallsview Resort & Spa. Our room was very clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We had the city view but we were pleasantly surprised that we were still able to see the falls from our window. The customer service was excellent! The staff at the front desk were very polite and helpful as well as the cleaning staff ladies who did an excellent job. The salt water pool was perfect including the hot tub. Our boys just loved swimming every day and it was nice that they supplied the towels. We had the buffet breakfast at Buchanan's Restaurant (which is in the hotel) and dinner as well which we enjoyed. I highly recommend the steak dinner. The staff at the restaurant were wonderful. Frank the piano man at the restaurant was awesome and he played my sons favorite song. Walking distance from the hotel to the main strip was just 15 minutes (5 min by car) which worked out great. One more thing, those cookies that they gave us when we checked in were the best cookies that we have ever had! We had to buy a few tins before leaving. Overall an excellent experience and this is the place we will be staying at every time we come to Niagara Falls!

We absolutely loved our stay in the DoubleTree Fallsview Resort & Spa. Beautiful hotel. Very clean rooms great customer service nice pool Great spa & great location. We recommend this hotel to everyone who would love a nice getaway we will come back again.

We absolutely loved our experience with the Doubletree Fallsview when we went back in January 2015. The staff was very nice and very accommodating to us. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are modern and very clean. We loved the pool which even had heated floors. The whole experience was wonderful and we plan to come back to this hotel in September. I have been recommending it to anyone who is looking for a great hotel in Niagara Falls. We are looking forward to our next visit :)

Unimpressed average room view of the falls was obstructed. Starbucks on site was horrible. Parking was not included.

Nice clean room! Great view from the top floor, and a pool I can be in seeing as it's a salt water pool.

I am very unhappy with the terrible customer service I have received at this hotel. The vending machine charged my credit card for a $2.50 drink, however nothing came out. When I went down to the front desk to complain, the people behind the desk were about to give me a voucher, when the manager behind a separate desk said they needed proof. If I used my credit card and things do not get posted days later, how is this possible? The fact that they did not want to reimburse me for the $2.50 is ridiculous. How are you supposed to have proof of payment from a VENDING MACHINE? It may have been only $2.50, but it is the principle of the matter. If they are that concerned about two dollars and fifty cents, one can imagine what else they are skimping on. Eventually it was resolved when a young guy at the front desk tried the vending machine and it worked, and then gave me my drink, but the amount of hassle (over ten minutes of discussion and 0 help from the manager), just for a drink is ridiculous. Other than that, the hotel is okay. Just satisfactory. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. With all the hotels in Niagara, one may want to find a hotel with better customer service.

Great clean hotel. Yeas it is a little to far away from the Falls, Clifton Hill and Casino's. Is there a shuttle bus? It would be nice instead of driving my own car, bus or cab! And $10.00 parking? Besides that have nothing else to complain about this pretty sweet hotel! :).

I have stayed at this hotel before and liked the location and building itself. However, the staff at the front desk is a hit or miss. When checking in this past stay, the man working the front desk was not very courteous, he told me I could not get my Hhonors points because someone else booked and paid for the room; which is not true, this is the only way I travel for work and always receive my points. He was not even going to take my points number until I made a big fuss and another man working told him just to take it. I did not receive a complimentary cookie like everyone else does. I was given my water voucher but when I went to redeem the water the woman working the beverage counter would not take it because the voucher was not filled out. When I went back to the front desk to get it filled out, they made a big deal about it and were not very friendly. I normally don't write reviews but I think the owners of this location should know that their staff needs to be trained more or sent through some sort of sensitivity training. What I did love about the location was the outdoor jacuzzi spa which was very warm and cozy — a much greater improvement from the indoor Jacuzzi spa. I hope that my next stay at a Double Tree is more enjoyable then this past stay.

Nice new rooms and lobby. Good view of US falls but far away. In the run down side of town and a long walk from anything good. Very disappointed in the Wi-Fi. A new hotel in 2014 should have awesome Wi-Fi. Staff unable to correct issues. Just pay 100$ more and stay closer to falls. You will thank me.

Im a paraplegic, so this review is more for other chair users. I stayed 3 nights in aug. Firstly it seems the doorways to rooms all have thick ledges that you have to pop over, made much more difficult when trying to open the very heavy door at the same time (and timing the card key reader). If you have bags with you, good luck. I booked the accessible room w/out a roll in shower, was provided a bath bench but it did not fit the tub properly and was unstable. The sliding bathroom door was also really heavy and hard to close. The view from that room was of the roof with high ledges, from a wheelchair you can't see anything but. The change rooms and pool area are well set up, the exception I found was the accessible shower in the change room. The shower fixture is too far from the bench and hardly reaches. I had to turn the water on before transferring in and just drop the shower head to lather up before carefully retrieving the head again. Needless to say I flooded the place. Otherwise everything was pretty good. I hope this helps someone, when it comes to wheelchairs sometimes the little details can really sting.

Very nice rooms, and depending what level and what direction you're facing, its a really nice view. Its a little expensive but that's to be expected in the area. Friendly staff and as always, a cookie upon check in.
