Excellent service so far. I found very good at this stage.

I am staying here because my husband is having surgery at St. Michael’s. Unfortunately Covid 19 has resulted in all food services to be shut down.
Staff at the front desk have been very thoughtful and gracious.
My thanks and appreciation go out to them.

We just spent 2 days in Toronto and stayed here. We loved it tremendously! A couple things to remember for next time but would definitely stay here again! Get the corner suite because the bank of windows is completely worth it! Great location. Close to just about everything. Already thinking about coming again!

Very unfriendly staff. You are presented with a strict set of rules before you are even greeted and you are not free to come and go from a room you paid for as you please. I will not be staying here again and I would not recommend anybody else does either.

Historic building is a real plus! Too often people don't realize how important it is to save older buildings until they are gone.

Great rooms, staff, location, just a bit pricey during the tiff, will visit again but when it’s not double priced.

I love this hotel. It's clean and staff are helpful. It will be my 4th time at this hotel. Just be careful when booking online. I thought I was booking on the hotel's website but ended-up booking with hotelsone. It says cambridgesuites. Reservation. And im now paying over 350$. You can't cancel with hotelsone. Well you can but you won't get your money back.

Great rooms, helpful staff, good food in restaurant. Superb location. Only downside was upping the price because of tiff! Why is the question? Weren’t interested in tiff.

Very friendly and efficient service. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and quite, and well equipped. The hotel is at a great location — downtown making it very convenient within walking distance. I ordered from the room service menu and the chicken and salad were fantastic — fresh, well cooked chicken breast without being dry. I would love to stay here again and definitely recommend.

Excellent location. We had a lovely room that my wife and I were very pleased with. Staff were polite and very courteous. We would happily stay again.

Very clean, exceptional service. We really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are spacious and intelligently laid out. My family of three did not feel they were tripping over each other. Each of us had our own space for relaxation. The front desk and cleaning staff are fantastic. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was a lot of storage space for our clothing. The only cons I felt were the absurdly difficult entrance/exit for the parking garage and the overpriced on-site restaurant.

The room was great and cleaning services was excellent. However there were some issues. There was only 1 functioning elevator during our time there and the wait sometime was 5 minutes or more. In our room the sink drainage was terribly slow and usually filled up quick. The shower did not work… We asked the front desk and they told us that we would have to pull very very hard to make it work. I found that very dumb. We booked through hotwire and even when paying in full, we still had to have a valid credit card and they put a 350$ hold on it. They wouldn't accept cash or debit. This could have easily gotten a 5 star but bad policy and room issues killed that.

Very nice hotel. My suite was very clean, staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. My company will be using them for all business stays moving forward.

We had a very nice long weekend at this hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff was excellent. Leticia was always accommodating if we needed our room cleaned, towels or toiletries. Being new to the beautiful city of Toronto, we need a bit of help figuring out how to get around, exchange money, etc. And the front seat was always very helpful. The breakfast buffet was also great (we did not have this included in our room rate but that is an option $15 Canadian, children under 12 are free). Parking is also offered at a discounted rate. Walking distance to a lot of the attractions. We would definitely stay here again and recommend.

We just entered our suite to find a nicely decorated room. However, the countertops are not clean with observable grime and the bedroom TV does not work. Color me disappointed. UPDATE: we advised the front desk staff and were offered another room, which we accepted. We loved the view. Unfortunately, the new room had the same countertop issue as the room we left. We were comped the breakfast buffet, which was a step above the usual buffet found elsewhere and had very attentive staff serving coffee and clearing dishes.

Pretty nice hotel with a friendly staff, nice service and great view. The breakfast us not that good. Wine is pretty expensive at the hotels bar.

Located at a very good place in the downtown. Easy access to coach terminal or union station. Has a connection to PATH. Complimentary breakfast has good options. Nice compact rooftop gym/jacuzzi/sauna with good view… Not much space to maintain your robes in the room however.

Great, clean room with an incredibly comfortable bed. Staff was wonderful. And hotel restaurant was pleasantly delicious.

I read many poor reviews for this hotel, however we had no problem. The room was spacious, with a decent sized living room separated from bedroom, large bathroom. The kitchenette was nice, wish there where a few more dishes.

Location was great if you want to be right downtown, but everything else was sub par. Room was clean but nothing special. All the taps in the bathroom were backwards (hot was cold, cold was hot) and extra expenses were added on for more than 2 people and a vehicle to park. It was basically just used a place to sleep for us — but it wasn’t worth what we paid. Was expecting more for the price.

When we arrived to the to the hotel the greeting staff was phenomenal welcomed us with smiles and warm welcomes. Rooms were spacious and nice. If you plan to go out and stay in this hotel do not stay here. The night staff was extremely rude. We had a friend who was very intoxicated and we asked if he could stay with us even though our room had the 4/4 people and were willing to pay for the extra person. The night manager we would have to pay 240 for a room (were listed online for 180) and then told us that "he looks fine to drive". Definitely not impressed by the hospitality service and lack of sympathy of the night staff.

This hotel is in a great central location close to transit, shopping, and restaurants. Super friendly staff at check-in. Our room was very clean and very spacious. The hotel has a strict no partying rule which ensured a quiet stay for us. Would definitely stay again!

Very nice hotel our room was very clean staff was very nice stayed in executive suit love the turn down service hot tub on 22nd floor and sauna very nice. Love that they have strict rules on who comes in and out after certain hours. And the no noise policy shows that this hotel cares about paying customers Will be returning.

This hotel is just off Yonge St. & about a 5 minute walk to the Eaton Center. The rooms have a bedroom & living room. Breakfast ($) in restaurant. Which is also open for lunch & dinner. Breakfast ends @9:30 sharp, though. We've stayed here many times.

Large comfortable room and very friendly, helpful staff. However, there was an extremely loud announcement over the room's PA system at 6 in the morning, obnoxiously waking us up, announcing that there would be soon be a fire drill. We stayed awake so we wouldn't be awakened again by the fire drill, and then it never even happened. We were not warned during check in that this was going to be happening. When you're on a vacation and you want to sleep in a bit, this is not the kind of experience you expect or want to have.

Clean, cosy rooms and a fair price. Located downtown near several great bars, restaurants, and within walking distance to some of Toronto's best markets. Well worth the stay and would definitely come again.

If I could choose zero stars instead of one I most definitely would. I was extremely disturbed by the type of behaviour the staff showed towards myself and the guests I was staying with. We had booked 1 room for the evening of Saturday November 25th and had some guests joining us for dinner at the hotel that were not staying the night. After spending a couple hundred dollars at your restaurant we realized it was almost quarter after 11 and knew that the hotel had a policy on guests entering the premises after this time. We simply needed to go back to the room to get everyone's jackets and were harassed and escorted by staff back to the room and told to go in, get the jackets, and leave immediately. We were not being loud or inappropriate. We all proceeded to leave and around 2:30am myself and my three guests returned to the hotel, quite sober and quite quiet. When we entered the lobby accompanied by another group of females (whom we did not know) who were quite a few years older than us they were not stopped and they proceeded straight to the elevators. I on the other hand was practically accosted by the staff on duty who felt it was appropriate to ask me a bunch of questions before allowing myself and my guests to proceed to the elevators. I feel like I should have been allowed one phone call first, this was practically an interrogation.

My favourite Toronto hotel. True, I get a good rate but you can too on various travel booking sites. The restaurant is excellent. The bar is friendly and comfortable. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The location is great, although not the quietist, but that is Toronto.

This is a good place to stay when needing to be downtown. The room I had must have been a smoking room in an earlier configuration. It wasn't overwhelming but it definitely grew some as the amount of time in the room did. However, the room was very clean, everything felt modern and it is a ton of space. The location is what really sets this apart. This hotel is as close you can get to the center of the downtown business area unless you are sleeping on the street. Highly recommend this place and just be sensitive to the smell and deal with it if it matters to you.

The front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. Room was beautiful and had a really nice view of the city. It was clean and quiet. Would definitely recommend the Cambridge!

Location was great, the room was very nice. They showed us to pre check in and leave our bags there as we had an early flight into the city. Amazing service!

Great location, friendly staff, rooms are old and feel a bit run down but they're clean and comfortable. Very strict on their visitor policy. Bonus, staying here gives you access to the Good Life fitness nearby.

The room is perfectly well equipped and large. The hotel is very well located. On the other hand, it is near a noisy site under construction.

Spent a long time there. The hotel is located conveniently in the Financial District of Toronto. Good quality. The staff is very friendly. Would recommend for business trips.

Old but you sleep well!

Excellent location, great service when check in. The room is clean although it may seem a bit old for some people. The suite is large and central air conditioning is very nice. It provides decent hot breakfast. Would definitely recommend it firsthand who is travelling to Toronto and like to stay close to downtown.

I always enjoy my stay at the Cambridge Suites. It provides easy access to meetings downtown and the staff is always friendly and professional. Furthermore, the rooms are well proportioned and conducive to working while on the road. I would certainly stay here again.

Great location for all the downtown amenities. Really enjoyed how Central this location is. 20 min from airport. 20 minute walk to Rogers. 8 minute walk to Eaton Center. Lots of good food. The bed was hard as a rock and our second bedroom TV never worked at all unfortunately. The gym was pretty lacklustre in terms of equipment, like only one person could work out at a time. Hot tub was pretty good but needed a filter change for sure. Helpful staff for the most part. Would stay here again.

Great visit! Sheila at front desk was so sweet and friendly. Reminded me of Maritime hospitality. We visited TO for week… she always greeted us. Leona our room attendant was friendly and did good job. On vacation so wasn't making my bed. Lol. Our suite very nice. Liked the bar, french doors to room… all very cozy. Never ate at restaurant. Cambridge had great views and pool. Centered right in downtown I was able to walk from Ripley's aquarium to Red Lobster and Chinatown. Covered a lot of ground. Perfect location!

The worst experience staying at a hotel. Marcus, their night concierge was disrespectful, greedy and unprofessional. He did not give any information onto extra charges and the limits of people staying in a room. He was trying to create an additional charge of $25 if an extra person were to stay in the room which none of us were informed about earlier when we booked the hotel. He was extremely sexist as he wanted all males to have left from our group and was willing to waive the extra additional guest charge of there were only girls in the room. Overall it is a nice hotel, but their service is terrible. Will avoid this hotel next time.

This hotel had poor customer service — One of the clerks was very disrespectful towards my friends. I booked a 2 bedroom suite with a pull out couch yet I was only allowed 3 other people in the room when there was PLENTY of space for 2 more people. Made two of my friends go home at 5 in the morning. When I checked in, I was never informed about the parking cost. Very poor communication. Never booking a room here again. I could've found a different hotel for a better price and had a way better experience. Not worth it at all.

This is the best hotel I've ever been to! It's in a really prime location, with the eatons center basically next door. The rooms were also very nice and clean. I'll for sure be coming back to stay next year.

Stayed with my parents this weekend for a function in Toronto, and it was nice. The suites were beautiful, and their fully loaded bars were scandalously stocked with enticing snacks and drinks. Fair pricing, but we stuck with a BYO approach. The only thing that SUCKED was the hide-a-bed that I slept on; Springs in your back all night can really ruin a stay. If I stayed again, I'd probably sleep on the couch as is (if I didn't just pony-up and get my own room).

The room is very wellwell though outout with a fresh new renovation. Great staff and the in house restaurant has great service. Where I usually feel that these items are overlooked; they made my stay very enjoyable.

Rooms were well kept and clean. Staff was very curteous and the only negative thing was the beds were a little harder than what I am used to for a hotel. 4 out of 5 stars for me.

Extremely terrible, booked a room for 5 and yet we were still questioned when we walked into the hotel. Even the manager didn't know anything about the room. Terrible hotel experience, wouldn't recommend, could find something else for a better experience and location. Not worth it at all.

Location was great, so close to the Eaton centre and Nathan Phillips Square. Quiet, staff was great and we got complimentary breakfast passes. Parking was a little expensive but expected.

Staff was unfriendly, did not want to have guests staying in the room although I had 2 double beds and a pull out couch. Staff was stating that they can decide who is allowed to stay and that only the room holder and no guests were allowed in the room. I've been traveling all my life all over the world and never had such a bad experience. Do not stay at this hotel not worthed.

The site has very nice feature including a sitting room sepparated from the bedroom by double doors, 2 TV's and a good size bathroom accessible from both rooms. The building is quiet and signs posted indicated the is no tolerance for parties. The staff are polite, friendly, and attentive.

Good room layout. Clean. My only complaints would be a slightly snarky desk clerk, and the lack of early check-in option.

Nothing. They would not let me into my room because the front desk girl did not register my name even though I called my friends who were registered and did have my license plate on file. I told them everything that was in my room and they still did not listen then the night manager called me a dirty white boy who lies. I did not go in there to cause trouble and just wanted to go to sleep but I did start to get angry after the night manager started being discriminatory and disrespectful. I will never stay here again. The rooms are nice but it is overpriced for the terrible service.

5* for location and suites. 1* for service, read comments below and save your money if you are planning to stay there with friends. I've reserved the Dlx King and Sofabed online for three people, apparently it is only for two. They didn't let the third person to go in and asked everyone for ID. 4 of my other friends also reserved the same room for four people and they did let them all in. This place is ridiculous.

Initially, we were impressed by the great location and accommodating rooms of the Cambridge Suites hotel. There were seven of us who had rented three suites for an office team building event downtown. The staff had made us sign a waiver upon check-in saying that we would be evicted if we had guests in the room after 11pm. We assumed this was just a formality and there would be some sort of given notice before guests would be evicted — WRONG. Around 1am there were six of our registered guests all sitting and socializing in a room. There was a knock on the door from security and the night manager telling us all to pack our things because we were being evicted. We apologized for the disturbance and suggested the that we all return to our rooms and turn-in for the night. The night manager insisted that he had every right to evict us without warning or compensation because we had all signed the waiver. We thought this was an unfair way to treat guests and mentioned that we would have immediately gone back to our rooms if we were given some sort of warning. He then let us know that he would call the cops if we did not leave. After realizing there was nothing we could do to change his mind, we packed our things and left. At this time we had also noticed that there were other room of unassuming guests who were also being evicted at the same time. There was no concern given by the staff as to where we would go with our things at 2am in temperatures below freezing.

Had a great experience at the Cambridge Suites. We were there with a bachelorette and had a blast! Beautiful and clean rooms with a nice view. Loved the hot tub in the fitness area too! Highly recommend.

The room is nice. However, the staff on the front desk are rude, and impolite. They didn't allow me to go to my room at night without checking my ID; then they started to ask me about the other people with me in the room. After that, when I left the room I was surprised by 200$ extra on the bill, so I called them to know the reason. They said that the room was dirty although It was clean. This will be the last time for me there. It was a horrible night. If there was less than one star rating choice, I would've picked it.

Save your money and stay away from this hotel. Worst customer service ever! The guy at the front desk Hoon Kim was arrogant, rude and truly unprofessional.

Nice hotel. Was older for sure. Location was good. Staff was good. Room was nice, but the doors between the living area and the bedroom where of some weird glass. I would put in some other type of glass. Mini bar was locked. How do we use it. 3 elevators all running as slow as possible. Weird. No breakfast included and it was not that good when I got it 1 morning.

Nice rooms, Nice Hotel! However Front reception is a nightmare. Condescending, rude, arrogant for no reason. Ended up having charges on my bill that shouldnt have been there. Basically they werent happy until I got loud lol Good luck w your stay.
