My family got sent here after their late night flight was cancelled — 4 adults 3 children 6, 4 and 11 months old. This hotel struggled to even provide a crib for the baby. I drove to see them the following morning bringing milk, diapers and dish soap so my sister could feed my youngest nephew and keep his bottles clean. The hotel had nothing and when we asked for a sink to wash the babies bottles (which I had brought dish soap and a bottle brush for) front desk said we had to use the the washrooms, so disgusting that this was our only option and the staff, and I mean all staff they dealt with and myself couldn’t of cared less. All these people from the cancelled flight where tired and unprepared for staying in another country for an extra 24 hours no compassion at all I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unfortunately our truck was one of 5 stolen from their gated parking lot in one night. No cameras in the lot. Sound suspicious to anyone else?

Great Service and accommodating staff.

This was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. Had I seen this in the daylight and not upon checking in after midnight after being up for 36 hours, I would not have slept here.

Kinda ruined my holiday. Checking in was a problem. I paid weeks in advance for a room with 2 double beds. There wasn’t any available when I got there. The lady at check in asked for my card details which I willingly gave to her. Only for me to get upstairs and I had been charged a hundred dollars. I went back to reception and I was told it was a deposit which I would get back. Even though I wasn’t pre informed. I said no problem. I woke up next morning. I had been charged an additional 83 dollars. I went and spoke to the manager and I was told it wasn’t their fault that they had glitches with their system. I was told it wouldn’t happen again. 2 days later. Another 183 dollars was deducted from my account. I have stayed at different hotels and have never had issues like this. The pictures on the website were deceiving as well. The rooms are not well lit. I can continue but I’ll stop here. Not impressed. I’ll give em a 2 out of 10 and that’s just me being generous.

The hotel is terrible. Made a group reservation for room type and the hotel changed it and staff lied about what was booked. The booking agent followed up in less than 3 hours. 3 weeks later the hotel has yet to respond to emails and phone calls from both booking group or us. Staff were rude. Front desk was understaffed and checkin continuously over 10 families waiting. Families (not having Covid) were placed on the Covid isolation floor. Would not recommend d this hotel. Our room had a broken window and it wouldn’t latch / shut tight and whistled all night.

Rooms are a bit dark, a bit more light would be nice. But good place, clean and a great bed.

WORST hotel experience of my life. RUN! No matter how good of a deal, spend the extra cash on another hotel! Very disappointed in the service and experience at the Crown Plaza Toronto Airport Hotel. The "Free Shuttle Bus" from and to the airport was never offered because no one was answering the phone for pickup. Waited 45 minutes at Toronto Airport to have to take an UBER to the hotel. 2 front desk employees with a line of 10 customers, 3 security guards talking and standing around. Waiting in line for check in for another 40 minutes. You would think the hotel would hire more employees than security guards? Front desk couldn't care less about the Shuttle Bus fiasco. Very rude and not customer service friendly. Got to room and in my hotel room the Air Conditioning did not and would not turn off. The cherry on top of this nightmare of a stay… I was double charged for my room and told I would be refunded in 2 weeks. Its been over 30 days and no response and NO refund. Run!

The room was not clean, neither did they have the bedding for the pullout couch ready for the guests to use. We booked the King Suite which sleeps five. We were four but the room was only ready for two. At 9:30 pm we were ready to sleep, our daughters pulled out the sofa bed, there was a bare mattress, we checked the linen closet and there was nothing in there. I called the front desk and half an hour later I had to go to the front desk to get assistance. The front desk called their housekeeping several times with no response. Finally she had to go there herself after which, Bob’s your uncle. The moral of this write up is to advice anyone to make sure when they check in to ask if the room is ready for ALL the occupants. The coffee machine was not working but that was replaced with in ten minutes of our calling in. They offered to move us to a clean room but we were settled so we will know for next time to accept the room only AFTER inspection. On the bright side, the hotel is five minutes away from the airport and is renovated and feels very comfortable and looks beautiful.

Service was not upto the mark, I asked the staff for water bottle at 7 am and received them at 3 pm.

Refused a cancellation/reschedule by refusing to acknowledge the existence of a current booking. Unhelpful/rude staff asked me to speak slowly because they 'could not understand' what I was saying. Absolute frauds. I can see from the amount of complaints on this page that it's business policy to overcharge their clientele.

I spent my 3-day mandatory quarantine and it's been amazing. Food is great, you have a coffee machine and ice bucket in your room. AC works great in the room.
The staff have my thanks and recognition. Thank you for everything.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, lovely big room with a large comfy bed. Unfortunately the ac/heating has a big noisy fan that comes on every 20mins throughout the night making it a disturbed nights sleep.

I had to stay here because I missed my flight. The room that was available for my family of 3 was a regular room with one bed and a fold out bed on request for the child.
The drivers of the shuttle service were very nice and help as much as they could with our seven over sized suitcases.
We were given vochures for food at the airport and realized when using the waiter changed from being all professional to not really caring. It was as though he though we were poor SMH … dinner time my husband had to force me to go eat because I became too embarrassed to use vochures. Mohammed at front desk was very approachable also very professional he helped getting us a bigger room for the second night.

Nice, clean room, comfortable bed, very friendly staff. Found it odd that I had to pay $20 to park my vehicle overnight (about 8 hours) … not sure how anyone from out of town would get here without a vehicle. Had this fee been added to the room rate ahead of time, I would've stayed elsewhere. Not big on hidden fees.

For 1 bedroom, the price is ridiculous, and the amount can change per night. There's Wi-Fi tho and they have a car rental place on the main lobby. You can order room service and your room gets cleaned every morning, free ice down the hall and air — conditioning. In the morning, there is a buffet, but you pay for it. There are vending machines, a pool and hot tub, fitness center, business center, bar, laundry service, restaurants near by and paid parking. Their staff didn't help me with my luggage, even through I asked several times. The hotel's appearance is okay but in all honesty, there are better hotels offering more and it costs the proper amount. They are charging a lot more for no apparent reason, its not as fancy as it seems. I've been to other hotels/motels and they do a much better job at making my stay pleasant.

The rooms are nice, though kind of small. There is a restaurant an be bar in the lobby, but there are also three restaurants right across the parking lot, so you have plenty of options. The airport shuttle runs every half hour, I took it at 3AM, so it starts plenty early. It's close to the airport, so you will hear planes taking off and landing, but it's not so much that you can't sleep. (I'm a very light sleeper)

TAKE NOTE TO CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS! They double charged my credit cards for a 1 night stay. One charge for $283.00 and another charge for $248.54. They refuse to refund the unauthorized charge and told me to call my bank. I wonder how many people this has happened to and don’t even know it?! Terrible Experience: Rude Staff, Horrible Management, Uncomfortable Beds, Small Rooms, Outdated Pool, Over Priced, etc, etc, etc… In comparison to several different hotels from Trenton to Niagara Falls, this was the worst hotel stay yet. The rooms are an extremely tight squeeze for 2 adults and 2 young children. TV’s in the room are tiny and outdated. The room service food left something to be desired… the minestrone soup tasted like curry and the Caesar salad had so much dressing it was soggy. The lobby restaurant “buffet breakfast, ” service (or lack there of) was awful! The servers were extremely rude. Just as we were sitting down to eat our breakfast one of the servers approached our table and requested our “Free Breakfast Vouchers, ” who then started to badger my son about his age, in a way that undermined our ability to tell the truth as parents. The server then said we must pay for my sons meal because we did not have a free voucher for him. (Of course we would pay for his meal… There’s no question! ) After having the server treat us like idiots, we then overheard him speaking nasty about us to another server in the kitchen hallway just a few feet from our table.

Good location. However had to pay for parking ($20) and when we called for room service 3 times was told by front desk that they will have them call us back. Never received a call back. A bit disappointed as all we wanted was a bottle of wine to celebrate our Anniversary. When we complained about it upon check out was offered room upgrade or complementary breakfast at our next stay. Which will not be happening.

Booked this room online from Expedia. Ca. Drove all the way from Montreal. We booked the room at 7am. As we get there for 3, the lady at the desk informs us we need a credit card with a deposit of 250. We had the credit card but was unfortunate that the limit was less then we needed. We told her we were willing to use cash or debit. No where on the booking did it tell us this that we needed the 250. We definitely would not have wasted our time. No willingness to accommodate or even any consideration to the fact we were stranded, then told us we can cancel. We told her we would have to wait for the refund and that we needed the money to get home or book another room somewhere. Lady was very rude and dismissive. Same with the manager. Clearly it is an on going problem. Maybe they should state that somewhere on the policy? All she said was this is every hotels policy, but actually is not. Rude very rude. Would not recommend any one to come here based on customer service. Never would waste my time here again. Small anyways. Nothing special. Holiday Inn definitely a better choice! Have to wait 15 days for a refund. Ended up being a very horrible experience.

The hotel and room was fine. Our dinner in the other hand was awful for the price. My son had a Cornish hen Dinner for 28 dollars. It was literally 2 ounces of meat. One tiny scoop
Of Mash potatoes and a tiny piece of broccoli and Cali flower. I had a veggie burger which was fair, no taste with a salad which was fine. The bill was 55.00 and the server practically asked for a ten dollar tip and added it on to the bill. I know it’s very expensive to eat at a hotel but the 28.00 2 ounces portion of a Cornish hen was beyond rediculois.

After having missed flight given that I was not awared air Canada does not announce "gate changes" and there are limited flight screens, I was able to get a hotel voucher. Got to the hotel, went to my room and crashed! Had flown over from Iceland. The queen size bed was very comfy. Given early evening arrival, I should have eaten at restaurant, but was exhausted. Should have ordered food service, but did not. Ended up waking up after 12AM and kitchen was closed. Ended up waiting till 5:30AM for food. Ate fast as had an AM flight and needed to rush to hotel. Great service in restaurant and from Night Managet both were very courteous. Also, good shuttle service, could use extra vans though, it felt like a cage.

Stayed here for work, at check in was told it would be a $100 deposit, everyday the charged me a different amount that totalled over C$300. I called room service to as for a pitcher of ice water and was told there is an ice machine on my floor and that they use tap water. I said I understand, but I would still like a pitcher of water. Few restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. So of the staff was nice, but this hotel was crazy busy. One night they had 500 kids and you couldn't get off or on the elevator.

The 2 double bed rooms are honestly very small. The beds take up most of the space. Bathrooms were okay however the bathtub it's self was actually very slippery and required a bathmat. Their amenities were poor to be honest. The pool was just a bathtub for adults… literally one of the smallest pools I've ever seen. The fitness room was also very small and cramped. They had a restaurant that looked good however we never used it. Room service was decent and quick. It's overall location is good both for the airport and the convention center. However in terms of overall comfort it was very poor.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Great breakfast. Very good size room and comfortable beds.

Edited 3rd time: Not only did we have issues with our reservations initially, they're also unable to find my 3rd room in my reservation to refund me my charge when we decided to cancel. As per the woman's words, refunds aren't issued unless you call it in. It's an issue they've had that theyre aware of. The woman who answered me on the phone pretty much said, we did not charge you 3 deposits. Not in these exact words but close enough and said to just call my bank because they can't refund something they took from me that "they can't find. " She started speaking in a condescending tone when she couldn't find our 3rd reservation because it had been "cancelled by herself months ago due to the credit card being declined. " Long story short, they gave us 3 days to put a new card on file but decided to cancel after the first day was up. We had to deal with this same incompetent agent months ago about reissuing that room to us. Which was done and a deposit was taken for all 3 rooms under the same name. Left a callback number on the manager on duty's voicemail 2 days in a row and no call has been returned. Had to blow up the accountant department's phone to finally get a hold of someone who will look into our missing refund. The man finally issued our refund for the elusive 3rd room that the incompetent agent I first talked to couldn't find and started freaking out on me about.

For a supposedly nice hotel, this was the absolute worst stay of my life, mainly due to the fact that they put me in a conjoining room, and in the next room were two prostitutes. The walls are so incredibly thin that I was unable to sleep for the entire night because of the constant coming and going of the prostitutes' clients next door, and I could hear every single thing, including entire conversations, verbatim. When I complained to the hotel manager she basically just said sorry, there's nothing I can do about that, and all they ended up doing was moving me to a different room. (I should have been comped at least for one night, hotel walls at a nice hotel like this should not be so thin that you can hear every single word the person next door says or what they do. ) I am extremely disappointed with the service here and do not recommend that anyone stay here. No privacy whatsover, did not feel safe (because the dealer kept coming back to the room next door and was also selling drugs there) and horrible customer service with the handling of this situation.

The most horrible hotel I ever stay. At one night, we change three rooms. In the first room, the whole room is messy. No one clean the room at all. In the second room, the towel in the bathroom is not changed. In the third room, some coffee is left inside the cup. The quality control for the room sanity is not qualified at all. Hoping the service quality can be improved in the future.

The rooms were rather nice but somewhat small. The elevators were quite slow resulting in me waiting many minutes quite a few times. The hotel is in a very good location however the parking is nothing special. Over all I would recommend finding another hotel if possible but if not this is definitely an okay choice.

This hotel is horrible. Dirty and disgusting. Staff is extremely rude, especially the female manager who was working today. The hotel promises things that they don't deliver. On the phone when I booked, they said breakfast was included but refused to honour it when I got to the hotel. When I attempted to resolve it by phoning their central booking line, I found out they have zero oversight and everything is up to the individual hotel owner. Would never book here again. Total scam. Don't believe what they quote you. Hidden costs and lies about whats included.

The reception is clean and the staff is courteous. The rooms are not the highest ranges I've seen but are fine anyway. The restaurant and bar attached to the ground floor is nice but expensive. The only downside that can ever be changed by the hotel is the noise of the planes. Otherwise it's fine. There is a shuttle to the airport that does the job very well.

Clean rooms, insanely comfortable beds and pillows, friendly staff, and excellent buffet breakfast. Pool was closed due to cleaning. Understandable, but none the less disappointing, as our boy was looking so forward to swimming at leisure. They offered the Sheraton pool as an alternative. We went, but that was obviously inconvenient. Otherwise great service. I would book here again.

Our stay here was not one of choice but rather necessity as Air Canada booked us the accommodation after they cancelled & delayed our flights out of Toronto. However, that said, the Crowne Plaza is just normal airport hotel miles from anywhere of interest & there to service the airport. They have a free shuttle service to and from the airport so there is no need to worry about getting there either. The rooms are comfortable, non-smoking (although ours smelt of stale smoke) and functional. They have there own restaurant and the buffet breakfast offered was nice.

Because of the east Storm, all New York airport flights canceled, had to stay in Toronto for one night, airlines pay, I'm sorry pick. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Very nice. Comfortable rooms with Tina. It has indoor and heated pool. The restaurant has delicious food and it is not expensive. The only downside is the location as you have to ask for taxi or have a car to access the sites of interest. Oh! And the receptionist with hearing impairments is pretty rude.

Easy to find off the 401. Rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable. In the early morning there is fairly heavy plane traffic.

Friendly desk staff. Nice large room. My wife and I arrived late (6pm) by train. Tired and starving. Ate dinner in La Brasserie hotel restaurant. Very nice. Server was excellent. My wife had a fantastic salad with chicken and I had a seriously good burger.

Have a nice lunch. A la carte or buffet. Tasty meals with possibility to eat at the bar where there are 2 screens that broadcast sports and news. Very large lobby. Four elevators. Clean room. A bit noisy because of the proximity to the airport.

Hotel close to the airport with free shuttle to and from the airport for free. We had a room with a view of the street; Lucia Clean but already with details of use would need a renovation; Spacious bathroom with bath and shower a little low; If you want to fly sleep and fly this well; We served the rate we paid but we have been to another more beautiful chain; Soundproofing despite being next to the airport are not heard. The breakfast buffet We asked 20cad we did not take it in the room had coffee for two: there is no coffee in the lobyy as in other hotels, the pool and gym did not use it but Lucian well, we dined at the restaurant La Brasserie that is inside the hotel : It is not a very wide letter but it has good prices, it fulfills its task if you do not have own mobility: if you go more days, you need car.

We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, we had vouchers from a missed flight. It took a while for us to get our food, but otherwise the service was fine. The food was not very consistent, of the 4 dishes only 2 of them looked appetizing. The kale salad and the chicken pesto were good, the chicken sandwich and salmon were basic and didn't have a lot of flavour.

No room service. The personal in general uncourteous. And if you want to sleep bring corks.

I've stayed the Crowne Plaza for about 2 days and it isn't that bad, the beds are twin which are a bit small for me but nevertheless still comfortable. The room us quite small to be honest. They have a pool, which is good but it is a really small and shallow one. Their fitness station or gym is really small. So small that I would say about 5 people could be able to workout without be crammed in there. They have decent equipment but I'm pretty sure nobody is there to workout considering there was nobody when I went. The staff is very nice which is a big perk to it all. Overall I would give it a 4 out of 5, nothing very special about the hotel but it's a good place to stay if your plane was delayed and the airport set you up here.

Ended up staying here after flight was cancelled. It looks very nice, everything was clean and functioned well. I'm visually impaired and the front desk person showed me to my room, themselves. The restaurant is a little dim and the waitress seemed like she had better things to do than serve us, but she wasn't rude about it. The food was good, despite having a somewhat limited menu. It would do well to re-make the menus in a more professional way to fit the aesthetic of the hotel. Didn't try the pool or the fitness room due to a 6a flight, but the shuttle was on-time — on the hour and the half — and the drivers courteous. The sound of airplanes taking off and landing was distant. They offer a sleep menu, so you can get ear plugs and a sleep mask (amongst other things) which is handy if that bothers you. Would definitely stay again, if had the occasion to.

Worst Hotel Evers! If you just go be careful it is scammer… $500 about for 2 night room with 2 extra bed who say we have not pay and want to charge US double?! Then what about the rooms… really not clean, 240 the 2nd night for a room dirty as its not just not from ever seen… I give a star because zero is not there and — 10000 no longer.

In the past, the Crowne Plaza was one of my top choices when staying near the Toronto Airport. I checked in in December 2017 — and was extremely disappointed with my accommodation. I had been assigned a room on the third floor, and as soon as I stepped off the elevator, I saw a group of young people going into the staircase to smoke — confirmed by the strong smell of marijuana as soon as walking off the elevator which is right by the stairs. I went downstairs and with no hassle got switched rooms. My new room was ridiculous for a 3.5 star hotel. The floor lamp had no light bulb in it and was unplugged — so it was useless. The mirror in the washroom had not been cleaned — fingerprints all over the mirror. And what was really disturbed me was how filthy the night-side table drawers were. I have attached photos for reference. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of cleanliness in the rooms. My suggestion would be for management to review their cleaning policies and procedures with their housekeeping staff.

Stayed here when our flight out of Toronto was cancelled. Hotel staff were unpleasant. No microwaves available in any room to warm my baby's milk. No mini fridges available in any room. Basically just a cramped room with basic amenities. Definitely wouldn't pay to stay here. And a bit confused at West Jet for sending my wife and two babies to this cramped hotel with no services available during Christmas holidays — when single guys were getting put up at the Hilton. Not sure the pricing for this place — but if other places are just in range I wouldn't recommend the Crowne Toronto Airport.

Garbage hotel. I've stayed at motels with better service. I ordered a drink in the restaurant and they completely forgot about me. So, I ordered food and drinks to my room for my husband and I, when it finally got here he had no steak knife for his meal and only one fork/butter knife set between both meals. (We had to share the silver wear). To top it all off the cable TV didnt work in out room so we asked if we could just have a free movie rental, the hotel said no but would be happy to switch us rooms. By this time it was 1am and we we're not about to pack up our bags, food drinks to move rooms. Very poor service in an outdated hotel. I expected more for a hotel airport. I'm sure they are not short funds to the point where they cant replace carpets that have an odor of dirty feet.

Came here for Christmas Dinner with my family for the second year in a row and once again it was a great experience. The food was plentiful and well prepared and the dessert selection was great also. The place has a calm family friendly atmosphere and I would certainly recommend a family gathering here. There's a lot to take in and enjoy and even after my second experience I still crave going back as I feel there's still much more to experience and in more than just food and drink. 5 star experience twice in a row.

Was really blessed with this hotel stay. I would not normally have stayed here because I don't spend a lot of time in Toronto or am aware of good hotels in the city. My travel plans were interrupted by bad weather. Air Canada took care of all my travel interruption problems and had me stay here. The staff checked in over 100 hotel guests and the wait was not that long considering the late hour and volume of guests. I was offered a late check out which is always appreciated. Staff were accommodating, friendly and professional. I had the breakfast buffet which was plenty. The room was clean and Wi-Fi free. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Handy when your plane is 1 day late… that's pretty much all you can say!

Was given a voucher for a delayed flight and found myself at Crowne Plaza. Was very pleased with the room. Had wings at the Lounge and was very impressed. Would definitely stay again.

We have rented the Regent room for business meetings and meal (dinner) three years in a row now. Crowne Plaza has always treated us amazingly well. Everyone is always surprised at how good the meal is. They always accommodate us very well. They dedicate at least one staff person to keep coffee and drinks looked after etc. Parking is free as long as your attendees register at the front desk on arrival. I can't image it being any better.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff, clean comfortable beds and good cable channels, great restaurant and reasonable rate. Only issues are pretty small rooms, blinds do not black out. A bit noisy with airplanes. Overall I’d recommend if you don’t want to go into town for a hotel.

Has a great time our stay was comfortable and fun. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and delicious definitely recommend it and stay again the only downside is not having a fridge in the room. But it did not stop me from enjoying my stay.

The place is well located close to the restaurants and convention center, is not up to date side ambience or decoration but very clean and functional.

Spectacular from the history to the VSTA from the Skypod.

Relatively close to the airport though there is sometimes a bit of a wait for the shuttle (albiet it is free). Limited access to stores/food unless you're willing to walk a bit by the highway. Rooms are adequate, shower is slightly spacious, and the pool is a nice size for an airport hotel. It's currently in construction and we had no power for a few hours which I wasn't happy about but could understand. Vending machine is coin only and they ran out of change at some point! An alright stay :-)

Small, warm room and very close to high traffic avenue. Air conditioning Excellent but noisy, it keeps you from sleeping quiet.

The man who receives in the restaurant is not friendly, also the woman at reception. Can greatly enhance your treatment with the guests.

Rooms are very clean and tidy. Some can be on the smaller side, especially with 2 beds, but still very nice. Staff are very professional. Easy to find location and right around some delicious restaurants and bars.

We were here for 4 nights. This hotel is very much for one night travelers. The rooms are a bit small and dated but who stays in the hotel room. They have a pool and sauna. But that said the breakfast was wonderful and the staff were very nice and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying here.

Unbelievable service quality and staff. This hotel is outstanding in luxury Comfort, service excellance, food quality, customer service and a general vibe of kindness. Wow! I am so impressed. Thank you for making my trip so enjoyable. For dog owners — they treat you and pet with respect — which is rare sometimes. Amazing hotel.

Friendly receptionist at check in. The bathtub was dirty with hair and marks in it. The hair dryer did not work. Waited 1.5 hours for room service and then called to see if it was coming and was advised that it was on its way. It never arrived! To the hotels credit, it was a very busy night BUT being a hotel airport they should be able to accommodate this.

My partner and I spent the night at this hotel and it was very nice. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was so comfortable we both had a good nights rest. The only problem we found with the room was no frig, however that is a very minor thing. The voucher's for breakfast was very nice, finding out it was an all you can eat breakfast buffet was even sweeter as we both love all you can eat buffet's. Lol We had such a great stay we are definitely going to stay there again anytime we need to be in the area.

Good rooms. Internet can be a little slow at times, but it works well enough. Lots of noise comes from the hall because of doors closing. Several food and drink options nearby, as well as a restaurant on the lobby level. The gym is big and spacious, but the cable machine could use a bit of love.

My stay at the Crowne Plaza was an accommodation provided by an airline for a cancelled flight. Hotel is very close to airport and shuttles are conveniently provided every 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful to the large number of people that arrived at 2am from the canceled flight. The rooms were very nice and very clean. Breakfast options were plentiful with good selection of menu items and also a nice breakfast bar. The breakfast vouchers provided by hotel were a nice surprise after a less than stellar experience at the airport!

This is a nice hotel that's very convenient to Toronto airport. The room I was in was nice, and had been recently updated. There is a hotel bar/restaurant, and while the menu is fairly limited, the food itself is pretty good. Parking is expensive — if you have a rental car, be sure to grab the license plate number (it's usually on the label on the key fob) because they need that to prevent your car from being towed. The staff is friendly and helpful. There isn't much around the hotel, however — a few restaurants and lots of highways. The airport is really the reason for it's existence, I think.

I come here once a year, for 2 nights at a time for the Anime North convention held at the Toronto Congress Centre. They offer a variety of guest services that are easily accessible. In regards to customer service, the service is acceptable, although with a few hiccups and I have been happy to do business with them. The staff tries to address issues with the customer in mind, and will admit to faults, which is a very humble thing for a business to do. All in all, I've stayed at 3 other hotels for the convention I visit each year, and Crowne offers a great value and benefit when compared to other hotels in the area.

Upon check in: Crowne told us our King suite we originally reserved wouldn't be ready for a few hours, they offered to put us in a Queen instead which is "the exact same" as the king except $60 cheaper and different bed size. So we took the Queen and found it had everything, Microwave/fridge/bath etc. Except we realized there was no 2nd bed which the King did have as a pull out couch so we called to desk and said we would like to switch back, suddenly there was a King available despite just being told it was a few hours wait so we paid the extra $60 and went up to the King suite. No bath, No fridge, No Microwave … There was nothing that the Queen had or that we were told it would have in it. Even the bathroom was half the size. Disappointed with the massive amount of difference we called to ask if we could get the Queen back and get a Cot to put in (which would have costed us $20 for the cot) We were told that its no longer available so instead we asked if we could get a Fridge since we were told it was the Exact same and we needed it for the weekend, the front desk told us we would be charged an extra $20 and they'd take the cost out of the $250 deposit we made to pay for it.

Check in was quick and easy. The staff are friendly and approachable. The rooms are spacious and clean. Unfortunately our room didn't have a fridge, which I figured has become a standard. The restaurant in the lobby has excellent food.

The location is very handy if you are coming from our going to the airport and you can find public transit in a walking distance. My room (831) haven't proportioned me a good experience though. The bed was good and the room was clean, but there was a loud noise coming from the ventilation and the blinders were too thin, making me wake up with the sun light in my face in the morning. The crew was very nice and the food was good although a little expensive.

Very friendly and accurate service for this stay. Room as well appointed, Internet worked fast; very clean and quiet. The shuttle service early in the morning was well organized and efficient even for the large number of customers. Free 8 day parking with the room rental works very well.

Crowne plaza is conveniently located from my work and Toronto Pearson airport. The meeting/conference rooms were conveniently located on the main floor, very close to the reception and away from all noise and discretions. The rooms were clean and the service was great. Would definitely recommend.

Was pleased overall with my experience. The only concern I had was with the quality of the food at the restaurant. I had ordered room service which was prompt. The food was not very tasty. The salad had an excess amount of dressing and the pizza was not good.

This place looks good. It also is almost good. No fridge or radio wave oven. I like my small room and small bed a little bit. Thanks guys, cool house.

Stayed for one night in the "modern nonsmoking" room with a king sized bed. Good stay but there were a couple small issues. We were on the 12th floor and the elevator only goes to the 11th so we had to take one flight of stairs to get to our room (not a big deal since we had no luggage). Also the blanket wasn't very comfortable. Only warrants one star off, good enough sleep for the price.

Stayed on the 8th floor, so it was sort of loud hearing the planes overhead. The room was clean, linens seemed fresh. The bed unfortunately was subpar. The mattress was hard and felt cheap, but for one night it was manageable. All in all a good value for a good hotel.

Breakfast was great and the room was very good and there was a lot of rooms.

Did not feel welcome upon checking in, Rehaan who checked us in did not smile once nor describe the facilities of the hotel. Not what I expected, kind of ruined the vibe. Room was nice. Staff, not so much.

I recommend to anyone this hotel or our friends that are done to steal their photographic equipment (devices and twin) on the morning of September 19 in their room during breakfast at 7: 00
the hotel has not recognized malfunction.

Terrible smells throughout the hotel. Room service button on the phone redirects to front desk who said they'd have room service call me back. Took calling them 3 times and half an hour to place the order. Then 45-60 minutes to get the food. Server emphasized that gratuity wasn't included and then awkwardly stood there as if it was deserved. And, the shuttle to the airport leaves when it wants, not at the scheduled times.

I could sleep better underneath a burlap sack in the streets of Ferguson Missouri than in a bed at this hotel. The a/c unit sounded like leatherface's chainsaw, and the sheets might as while be lined with freshly cut grass.

The hotel isn't bad. It's clean and has some decent restaurants around it, but it has THE WORST Wi-Fi ever! If you need Internet to work from your room, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT stay at this hotel. I can't believe at this day and age, a large hotel can't spring for decent Wi-Fi. I've been to Red Roof Inns with better Wi-Fi. Terrible.

This was a decent hotel — not the best i've visited, but alot better than the worst. Not a bad location in regards to transit and highway access. Parking was $15 per night.

We booked through a 3rd party (p_line). Very small rooms w double beds. Asked for a crib (10m old), 1st attendant said no problem, few hours later a 2nd said 'sorry no, that's what you get booking through a 3rd party', I called down a third time and a maintenance person didn't see a problem with it. Small pool but kids were happy with being in the water. Parking was $14 CAN per day. Wireless was free, but slow as expected.

I stayed here before flying out 1.5 weeks ago and again 2 nights ago. I found the front desk staff failed to ask me if I wished my extra points for being a platinum member on the check in 1.5 weeks ago and failed to check my car in properly so I found a ticket requesting I move it when I returned from my holiday. On my second stay 2 nights ago I forgot my electric tooth brush, its case and a water bottle. I wanted them back as the tooth brush had two of my rechargeable batteries in it but the items were not turned in to house keeping. It is the first time an item I left behind was not turned in to the house keeping so I wasn't very happy. I was tempted to give them a 2 but the room was okay, though a bit small and I was not given the free upgrade on check in though I am platinum and two friends that were staying and not platinum were given upgraded room to suites.

Clean room. Front desk agents needs to be more cordial about their guests.

Stayed here the night before and of my wedding. The service was great and the experience was wonderful.

I have stayed here for several nights in the past two weeks. I would not book the top floor (12th), since you can really hear the jets landing. Otherwise the place is good and clean. The only thing for room service is that there isn't a direct line to the restaurant so someone from the hotel sends a message in some way to the restaurant who, in turn, phones your room to take the order. It has been my experience that it has been 50% returned calls for food orders. I had to phone back the hotel half the time to ask for room service again. One night, I had to phone three times. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience.

Noisy. Rooms are small, doors are poor constructed and when somebody opens or closes them, it sounds like an earthquake. It wakes you up if you sleep. Planes are taken off constantly and flying above the hotel and feels like they are going to crash. There were a group of young people staying near our room and they were visiting each other all night long. We tried to sleep, but they always woke us up when they opened or closed their doors. When we called the service desk, they did nothing. When we checked out the next day, the Concierge asked us about our experience. On our respond that it was bad, she said: Oh, Great! She even didn't bother to listen to us.

Hi there, I stayed at your hotel on Friday night when my flight could not land and we returned to Toronto. First of all, you've nailed it on the bath items! It was so nice to have mild, natural products, lightly scented with natural ingredients, especially the minty conditioner. The cheap heavily perfumed products leaves the majority with a headache and suddenly the whole hotel is to blame for lack of sleep! I liked them all and plan to look them up online. Secondly, all the small pillows one could snuggle into and get comfortable. I have travelled a lot and this was a very comfortable, sleep promoting arrangement. The light blanket that just gets warmer is awesome. The service received in your restaurant was impeccable, second to none. I shall return again when my travels bring me into Toronto. We were all exhausted and some complained we should have been housed next door, but, the short drive was worth the welcoming room. Thank you:) Patsy.

First of all, I have to say I always used the Crowne Plaza for business, in my lineof work I travel often and me and my clients choose to use Crowne Plazza because of their standardized quality across north america, that was until this friday night. I am flying back with my wife and 20 month old baby from NY to Toronto to Vancouver and because of the weather we lost our Vancouver flight. When we hear that we got a room booked at the CP I got excited and told my wife, this is not bad at all we are going to enjoy it. OH boy I was wrong The shuttle took more than 40 minutes to arrive, we were waiting outside at minus 20, all other shuttles drove by a couple of times while no signs off the Crown plaza hotel. When the guy finally arrived he realized the amount of people waiting for the bus and the first thing he said "anyone from Air Canada? ". We were all westjet I arrive to the hotel, got a room assigned and 5 minutes into the room a guy knocks on the door. He received complains from someone around us that our baby was crying. It was not even 10PM and NO, our baby was happy. I asked him what do you want, you want me to shut up my baby? Maybe hold his mouth? it is a baby, what do you want me to do. HE answer, just keep him quite. I said, how? It is a baby, you understand that. This retarded conversation lasted like 5 minutes. I had to go downstairs to complain. My baby did not cried the whole night.
