I stayed in 1 of the economy rooms… don't do that. There's no AC (it was 28c) and the window has no screens. The toliet is tucked in the corner surrounded by 3 walls it's ok for standing not sitting. The shower head is only about 4.5 ft high you have to crouch to shower. Paint in room is peeling. Snack machine isnt plugged I think the snacks are expired. Analog tv? I heard they better rooms I sure hope so but I won't be back to find out.

My experience was definitely 5 star. Super friendly, and kind staff… love the history of this place. Definitely recommend!

The place itself is out of this world beautiful, the room we had felt like a cottage. Good service and prices.

Really great place for stay, very peace clean and spiritual. Real adventure & explore of Northern CA. Specially Loft room like own cottage / aprt. It's worth.

Terrible place. Absentee owner leaving operations in the hands of people who dont care. We stayed one night and left. They only reason I gave it one star is that zero wasnt an option.

Great spot for a SLED Trip! Heated garage storage for the night. First come first served Staff friendly… large entertainment eating room! Right on the ski-doo trail! We'll be back next trip!

The gentleman that runs the kitchen is very friendly! The rooms were basic, but comfortable; it was nice that we were able to bring our large breed dog with us into the room, seeing as not many hotels allow that!

Good food and very accommodating management and staff. Nice to see the staff working hard trying to revive this gem of a motel. Great rates and with the cold spell the complimentary heated garage for our sleds was awesome.

Friendly service and grate food we're even open New year's day.

This Adventure Inn has a grande and adventurous history! It appears as though the original owners, who sold the Inn (we were told in town) because it was so busy summer and winter with tours, snowmobile groups, guiding groups and just everyday tourists. When they sold, it appears as though the magic trailed after them. The North Adventure in still is a busy place — with 4 igloos to rent as well! — but it is slowing down and coming apart a little. The new owners are from away and don't have the spirit to push forward with the adventurous side. HOWEVER! This place has amazing history, enthusiastic (all 2 of them) staff and is just lying in wait for a healing breath of air — anyone interested in starting a new life in the adventures of the North might want to look into this as an investment. P. S. Very comfy beds and quaint rooms & building!

Had an amazing vacation! Derick and Julie make you feel welcome and provided a service well above what we expected entire family enjoyed the stay (kids and the puppy too). If you're looking for a home away from home experience I'd definitely recommend the North Adventure Inn. Can't wait to come back next year! Topping family Redbridge, Ontario.

What I needed: a no-frills pet-friendly place I could catch some sleep on a two-day road trip What I got: a pet-friendly igloo to catch some sleep The "igloo" is pretty neat IMO. It was incredibly warm. I slept like a rock in the bed which may be a bit hard for some but was fine for me. Came with a pull-out couch which my friend said was not as comfy (but what pull-out couch is). Water was warm for showering. "Igloo" came with a tv, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen sink and a stove (which we didn't use any of so I can't comment on if they work). Driveway is snow covered which was concerning but my FWD hatchback made it up and down no problem. I imagine this is to accommodate the snowmobile population so I was okay with that and happy I had on my winter boots. Besides some of the towels having some stains and an old sheet on the couch when pulled out, the room was clean. I would stay here again. The gentleman was very pleasant when taking my reservation, when checking in, and when checking out early in the morning.

Clean rooms, very understaffed, bar and restaurant had no staff, this place has gone way downhill form the glory days need a chain to take it over. When we arrived there was one extremely hardworking person checking in cleaning rooms cleaning up restaurant from day before running around apologising to everyone very sad!

Extremely rude over the phone! I called to enquire about amenities and a weekend to book. The man who answered, right away told me he was too busy and hung up on me without even getting a name, number and before I could say another word. What the heck? Nice customer service. Will not be getting any $$ or fun from my family. Good luck with your business bud. :/

Thank you for a great week in the igloo! During our recent stay, we had the pleasure of meeting Marc and Rochelle. They are both so friendly and helpful, and always have the coffee pot on. The Inn is perfectly located just at the edge of town. The igloo was very clean and well heated, with the extra touch of having a Scentsy warmer making it smell very homey when we walked in. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Cochrane next spring. We recommend anyone visiting Cochrane choose the North Adventure Inn.

We came here for a rest before we continued on our trip out to Saskatchewan; we did not regret our choice because the person who greeted us at the front desk was the actual owner, our original room that we booked was being renovated so he upgraded to a loft. The loft has two beds upstairs with a television on that floor and another television on the ground floor, along with a gas fireplace, a two-person Jacuzzi tub, a shower with two shower heads. The restaurant here was also under renovation so the owner and his s. O. Made us a pizza and they delivered right to our room (the pizza was amazing), they have a free continental breakfast and unlimited coffee refills. The owner is extremely helpful as the trailer we are hauling had a tire go flat, so he brought out an air compressor to my boyfriend and made sure that he had everything he needed to fix the tire. We highly recommend that if you are in Cochrane and need a place to stay to go to North Adventure Inn. (On top of them being helpful, they are also pet-friendly! )

In this part of the country there is a different spectrum of hotel standards. If this were the gta, this place would defiantly be considered a dive. But up here it's on the upper end of low end hotels. They have most of the basics covered. The room was reasonably clean and well maintained. Every thing is a bit run down, but compared to most of the hotels around here well appointed. The staff was polite and seemed diligent. I'm sure the place can be somewhat crummy of you catch it on the wrong night, but I'd be willing to take a chance again.

This was terrible I found bugs in my bed mold in the shower the cofee maker was rotten the pool and hot tub are just dry pits and the TV was crashed in the wall I left after the servent went in my room after I complained and she shook my bed free of bugs (with still alot of food on it) wiped the shower with a measly cloth and then farted in my room and told me to go away the fart stank so much I left and had to pay 100 dollars for the room if you want to throw away your money come here (so basicly best hotel ever).

Rooms with lofts are great rooms. The price is over the top in the summer though as there is no restaurant running on site as advertised, no bar either. The sauna and hot tub that are advertised on the site were also not running. There was an error with booking dot com and I had to pay more upon arrival than I was quoted. The single party staff was eager to please and available 24/7. If you are looking for a quiet retreat and have no need for amenities close by this might be the place for you.

Hi Brent. I wonder when it was that you visited the North Adventure Inn in Cochrane, Ontario? I am quite familiar with the Hotel, and acknowledge that poor management over the last few years was a MAJOR issue. You will be happy to know that the Hotel is now under new management, and things have changed drastically! I do not personally own or manage this hotel. I am the webmaster. I can assure you that your next visit will be free, on the condition that you write a second (chance) Google review.

Peanuts in the bed, between the sheets. Mold in coffee maker. Dirty hand prints in the shower. Soiled carpet. Can hear other guests through floor in room underneath. 5 or so channels, 1 was porn. Awesome. Do not go here.
