Nice hostel, easy check in and a nice location. Bed was comfy and good shower (a shampoo dispenser would be a dream though)

Great Hostel. Stayed 1 night in May. Wasn't too busy. The hostel doesn't have designated female only dorms but upon request can and did assign me to a female only dorm.

Was perfect in every way. A true Backpacker’s resort. Bunk room, shared spaces were filled with all the amenities you could wish for — local books, games, music et all.

Exactly what a backpackers lodge should be. Martin and Kelly run a fabulous little community in the heart of Roberts Creek. Warm, tranquil & charming. With all the comforts needed and more.

I really enjoyed my stay at Samesun Vancouver. The room was modern and clean, and I loved the minimal but warm design. The staff were wonderful and even helped accommodate my incorrect dates.

This hostel is an excellent place to chill and enjoy a quiet well kept space. The room I stayed in was very clean and the owner does her best to ensure that your stay is enjoyable.

I just stayed at the Dancing Bear — it's great! It's in a wonderful location, clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful.

If you need to spend time at UBC, this is the place you want to be. I stayed there for four days with my wife and baby.

I stayed here on my way the my other dorms and it was decent. It’s actually really cold though so you should consider bringing an extra blanket. Beds were good.

We stayed here for 1 night and it was a great stay. I was not expecting much, as the facilities are limited. The great staff were able to provide a few options for breakfast etc.

This place is beautiful. The staff are very sweet. I got their executive suite, which is very spacious and has a beautiful view.

We've had a great time. Situatie quietly. The house is cosy decorated, kitchen is complete and all the rooms have a private bathroom. The hottub and terras is great.

We had the best stay at Auberge Kicking Horse. The house truly was a home from home. We stayed as a family of 5 and had every thing we could need.

The "Affordable" Choice for Peak Season, with Some Trade-offs.
We stayed here in mid-February 2026, and at CAD $300/night, this was actually the most "affordable" option in Whistler.

We would definitely stay here again. It is a little south of all the activities, about 5 miles from the village. It is in a well maintained area of condos with a few eateries nearby.

Very friendly staff, good price for the stay with comfy shared accomodations. Having fridge space and cooking space available is helpful for meal prep!

Very cool and ultra chill front desk staff but majority of folks staying here work in town/ at the hostel and they definitely form groups naturally amongst themselves so it’s not the best place to

This was the first stay in a hostel for me. I had a very enjoyable time stay. I was apprehensive about sleeping in a bunk bed as I have back issues.

Very nice, very clean, but very scented. The sheets had a pretty intense laundry soap smell and the bathrooms have a heavy perfume/lysol thing going.

Positive: Basic, clean and convenient Negative: Not a single thing. Even the absence of a TV was a bonus!

Stayed in a queen suite for 3 nights, and can’t complain! The room had a full kitchen, desk, and small dining table. Bathroom sink and mirror were separate from toilet and shower, which was nice.

Not your typical lived-in and funky hostel. This place is clean and bright, with a clearly corporate mandate. Overall it gives the feel of a Scandinavian minimum security prison with corny art.

Great location, lots of parking, great kitchen, very clean. Ski storage room provided. Stayed four nights never saw anybody sitting at front desk. Check in by email code.

Love the contactless check in and check out. The decor is really cute and vintage, all sailor/navy inspired.

Single room was clean, had a sink. Place was quiet, barely ever saw anyone. Showers are small and not very clean. The area is not great but the place itself feels safe. You get what you pay for!

I'm not sure why the reviews are so negative for this place. I stayed here in 2018 and this year, and enjoyed our stay both times. The price is unbeatable for what you get.

Easy check-in, very nice owner, and great price for the area. Room had a sink and locked window, towels provided. Shared bathrooms (3 or more on my floor with showers), were cleaned my entire stay.
