Hostels in British ColumbiaHostel

Absolutly wonderful place :) we ended up staying longer than planned originally because both Cindy and Laurie just made us feel so welcome.

A wonderful, clean and cosy hostel perfectly situated in downtown Nelson.

Nice hostel, easy check in and a nice location. Bed was comfy and good shower (a shampoo dispenser would be a dream though)

Great Hostel. Stayed 1 night in May. Wasn't too busy. The hostel doesn't have designated female only dorms but upon request can and did assign me to a female only dorm.

You got everything you need. Great location. Generous and nutritious breakfast included. I enjoy every bit of my stay. The free park walking tour is truly amazing.

I really enjoyed my stay at Samesun Vancouver. The room was modern and clean, and I loved the minimal but warm design. The staff were wonderful and even helped accommodate my incorrect dates.

Great place. I camped and still had access to the shared kitchen, washroom, and shower. They even provided me with a towel when I arrived. Nice, friendly staff. I would certainly recommend.

Arrived late at night with my kids and we were greeted by the host and shown around. We settle in our room for the night. I found it too warm and couldn't sleep.

We stayed here for 1 night and it was a great stay. I was not expecting much, as the facilities are limited. The great staff were able to provide a few options for breakfast etc.

This place is beautiful. The staff are very sweet. I got their executive suite, which is very spacious and has a beautiful view.

We've had a great time. Situatie quietly. The house is cosy decorated, kitchen is complete and all the rooms have a private bathroom. The hottub and terras is great.

We had the best stay at Auberge Kicking Horse. The house truly was a home from home. We stayed as a family of 5 and had every thing we could need.

One of the bes hostels I've stayed, bar none. Brian runs a fantastic little gem in the heart of Rossland. Check it out for yoursevles if you don't believe me.

Our first time in Rossland. What a great town.

The "Affordable" Choice for Peak Season, with Some Trade-offs.
We stayed here in mid-February 2026, and at CAD $300/night, this was actually the most "affordable" option in Whistler.

We would definitely stay here again. It is a little south of all the activities, about 5 miles from the village. It is in a well maintained area of condos with a few eateries nearby.

Pretty decent value considering other options in Kelowna during the summer.

We were fortunate to stay in the newest residence called Nechako.
Clean & bright with great security. The students that serve guests are fantastic & helpful.

Honestly this place was sweet. I had a few friends in town staying at different hotels and this place was far cleaner, way cheaper, and I had a great sleep. Also… they provide TWO decent pillows!

Love staying here! This is my 5th stay. We have stayed in the family rooms with our kids. They love the pool table.

Very friendly staff, good price for the stay with comfy shared accomodations. Having fridge space and cooking space available is helpful for meal prep!

Very cool and ultra chill front desk staff but majority of folks staying here work in town/ at the hostel and they definitely form groups naturally amongst themselves so it’s not the best place to

This was the first stay in a hostel for me. I had a very enjoyable time stay. I was apprehensive about sleeping in a bunk bed as I have back issues.

Very nice, very clean, but very scented. The sheets had a pretty intense laundry soap smell and the bathrooms have a heavy perfume/lysol thing going.

Not your typical lived-in and funky hostel. This place is clean and bright, with a clearly corporate mandate. Overall it gives the feel of a Scandinavian minimum security prison with corny art.

Great location, lots of parking, great kitchen, very clean. Ski storage room provided. Stayed four nights never saw anybody sitting at front desk. Check in by email code.

Great Last-Minute Find with a Nostalgic Touch! ❤️🤩
I was honestly a little worried about staying here after reading some of the Google reviews.

Rooms are clean and beautiful and service is outstanding, I have very good experience with vernon hostel, help and support me a lot. I really appreciate you guys visit there once.

Love the contactless check in and check out. The decor is really cute and vintage, all sailor/navy inspired.

Single room was clean, had a sink. Place was quiet, barely ever saw anyone. Showers are small and not very clean. The area is not great but the place itself feels safe. You get what you pay for!

Full 5 star review — price was amazingly cheap considering its location and time of year.
The service from every staff member was incredible — super friendly and extremely helpful.

A great hostel with friendly and outgoing staff who were very helpful and accommodating during a 4 month long stay here.

Been there like 5 years running now or longer! Always fun and a cool place to stay! I plan to be back again on my Spyder this summer from YYC.

So good I came back! Everything was awesome the people super friendly! The staff are super accommodating, with all my crazy demands, like late check in!

I'm not sure why the reviews are so negative for this place. I stayed here in 2018 and this year, and enjoyed our stay both times. The price is unbeatable for what you get.

Cambie Hostel in Downtown Vancouver.
I stayed December 5-7, 2024 at this amazing hostel in Downtown Vancouver, and it truly exceeded all my expectations.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The shared room was a bit cramped for 2 full grown men but it was easy enough to navigate.

My first Hostel experience has been quite pleasant! Not like the movie at all 🤷‍♂️
Cozy sleeping space. Bottom bunks have a door that locks. Top bunk just has a curtain. 1

This hostel is very nice I enjoyed the room situation and the feel to it. A different way from how some hostels are set up and enjoyed the privacy in the lower bunks. Will be back if down that way!
