Golden Hotels

Our best stay in Canada. The owner Brandy is outstanding. You see in every detail in the house and how she prepares the breakfast, that she really loves what she does.

Really enjoyed this lovely place as the ultimate launch pad for mountain biking in Golden, and for day trips to nearby parks & Canmore/Banff.

We stayed 3 nights at this B&B run by Kat and Paul. Very enjoyable experience as the owners are thoughtful for all their guests and provided lots of help and tips for our vacation.

Excellent Stay!
Dear Kat, Paul, Roxy, and Reef,
Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful lodge — you truly made us feel at home.
We had a wonderful time.

A very good Best Western Hotel.

A great, affordable place to stop in Golden. Rooms were clean, the pool and sauna were awesome and breakfast was delicious. Location is perfect.

Awesome! I’m so glad I stumbled across Tiny Homes. I was working in Golden for the day and spent a night here. I would gladly come back for an extended stay. Everything is perfect, funky and clean.

We loved our stay at Big Air Chalet. It’s the largest of the tiny homes. The views were beautiful! The hot tub felt great after a day walking around national parks.

We stayed here for an overnight stop during our Rocky Mountain adventure honeymoon. Room was spacious, with two large king beds. Room was clean, AC was great!

We spent one night at the Holiday Inn Express in Golden, on our way from our home in the Fraser Valley to visit family in southern Alberta.

Overpriced, but its a tourist town. Nice suite, great views.

Easy check in process with a code for the door. Modern and clean kitchenette rooms.

Beautiful setting in the mountain hills with a hot tub and a cute cabin. Taken care of well, everything was clean and stocked up. Definitely recommend for travelers traveling through. Awesome place.

Absolutely perfect! Location to town, excellent for birdwatching — we clocked 38 species around our chalet. The hot tub was spectacular as a finish to days of hiking and exploring.

Fantastic place! We stayed in the deluxe family suite with high ceilings, a huge deck, and mountain views. The Lodge had a beautiful lounge area and served a continental breakfast.

The room was really nice, very quiet, bed is a bit softer than what I prefer but nothing that disturbed too much. Bathroom had basic amenities and the floor was heated! They have a sauna and a spa.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet location and you will have silence after 10:00pm. All the guests are very well behaved and the common areas are exceptionally clean.

We stayed two nights here and really loved the experience.
Our room faces a great mountain view. It is so pleasant to wake up to such view.

My favorite hotel from now. Great place to stay! I really liked the self-check-in with no reception needed—it was quick and convenient. The available food was a nice bonus.

Great bar with a fantastic atmosphere! The bartender was incredibly friendly, professional, and made excellent drinks. Outstanding service—I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

What a hidden gem! Found this place when the highway was closed, pulled in and they were booked, but found a way to get us in for the night.

This mountain cabin is so clean and with all the modern convenience. Even though Wi-Fi was not promised in room it does have. How often you found a place under promise and over delivered.

Clean and cozy. Easy access off of highway. Not much to do around and no walking paths. 3 options for Wi-Fi given, none worked for any of us. Used our own data for music.

We stayed at Yoho Chalets cabin in May 2025. What a treat! Easy to get to from Calgary and yet far enough away to unplug and recharge.

We absolutely loved this place. We stayed in Deer Lodge, and it was perfect for the three of us. The hike out back was difficult! Can’t recommend Mount 7 enough.

Mount 7 lodges is a true gem! We don’t have enough good things to say about it. The property is incredible, quiet and private.

Best place to stay if you want an entire cabin to yourself and away from the hustle and bustle of Banff and Lake Louise. It's the same distance to Lake Louise as Banff is (45 min).

Great location, huge and spacious cabins. Well organized kitchen, outdoor furniture, outdoor gas grill and fire place. Plenty of organized parking very close to the cabins.

Great value in the summer time and a beautiful location to stay. Rooms were large, clean and had a little mini-kitchen situation (sink, fridge). I would definately recommend.

We had a great time at this airbnb. Perfect views of mountains. Quiet and clean. We saw alot of wildlife outside including black bear and cubs.

Beautiful resort, friendly, loving hosts. Rooms are great and food is awesome that's homemade 😋

Best place we’ve stayed in BC.
This beautiful lodge, crafted by the owners twenty years ago, offers a cozy, cabin-in-the-woods feel, with all the comforts of a hotel room.

Nice hostel, easy check in and a nice location. Bed was comfy and good shower (a shampoo dispenser would be a dream though)

Great Hostel. Stayed 1 night in May. Wasn't too busy. The hostel doesn't have designated female only dorms but upon request can and did assign me to a female only dorm.

We've had a great time. Situatie quietly. The house is cosy decorated, kitchen is complete and all the rooms have a private bathroom. The hottub and terras is great.

We had the best stay at Auberge Kicking Horse. The house truly was a home from home. We stayed as a family of 5 and had every thing we could need.
