This place is spectacular! Everything, from the front desk to the room views is beyond reproach. The staff are extremely professional and courteous. The restaurants, Sandbar and Don Cherry's, have the same menu. The Sandbar is quieter and closes earlier at 9 though. The rooms are clean and modern, even comes with a telephone in the bathroom. Not sure why, but ok. Views of the lake are the best, and are memorable. Would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again.

This is unexpectedly luxurious accommodation. The entrance is very grand and the decor is very nice. There is ample space everywhere, even in our room. The view of the marsh, the lake and the mountains is stunning. There is so much to see and explore, right on the surrounding ground themselves. The staff here is super friendly and knowledgeable, and even took the time to work with us to accommodate a special request relating to a personal, family matter. We have no complaints at all and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

It had been a long time since I’d enjoyed a hotel as an experience rather than just a place to sleep. The location is privileged and the attention to detail and courteous staff made us want to stay in the room much longer than our usual. The Prestige is a perfect balance between old fashioned service and meeting the needs of modern travel.

The suite was lovely, beautiful view off the balcony, and thoughtful gift bag from guest services. Bliss spa was amazing and the hot stone massage to die for. The noise in the hallway kept me awake, and service at the sandbar restaurant was mediocre. Prices and food are wonderful. Front desk ladies are a joy and the cleaning ladies very polite and helpful. A great birthday besides the lack of sleep from noise.

My husband and I stayed here on our honey moon and absolutely loved it! It's gorgeous as soon as you walk in. The service was great and the beds were comfortable. The view from our window was beautiful. And you're not far from the wharf. The swimming pool is indoor/outdoor. Will definitely visit again!

Decent location. Few restaurants nearby but close early. Askew’s (grocery store) 10 min walk. Not much to do in the evening. Good place for overnight stay only. Wi-Fi was a bit slow. Overall the room was clean but lacked electrical outlets. The shower was very weak and confirmed with 2 stays within 3 days.

Best place to stay in Salmon Arm! Hotel has everything you can possibly expect from high quality hotel — spa, shopping, gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, amazing restaurant and stunning view. Rooms are very clean, spacious and well kept. Hotel has lots of parking for guests and is strategically located for an easy access to all the local restaurants and attractions. Rooms are very reasonably priced.

A great hotel, nice room. Pool was warm. Hot tub was very hot. Lisa at the front desk was amazingly helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Well the kady we were dealing with at the front desk Lisa was a nightmare! She really had no idea what she was doing and long story short it ended up with me having a hold of 350$ on my bank account. Totally ruined my whole trip was stressed out the whole time. The food was pretty ok. The pool was nice actually probably my favourite part. The rooms were very clean my only complaint with the house keeping was that they woke us up at 8:30 in the morning. Next time will stay at comfort in or super 8.

Nice hotel, big rooms. The French bakery has good food as well. They could update the TVs and the old cable to HD.

I give details, you judge. We checked in 28th, October, 2017, no problem, receptionist is very helpful on dinner recommendation. When we get to our room-333, first thing noticed, the garbage in the washroom is still there, so basically, no cleaning in washroom. Called front desk, room change, they send the room cards up, no problem. Took all luggage and both kids upstairs to 429, looks fine. Not soon after, wife found some long hair on the bed sheet, not on top of bed, but on sleeping sheet, assume they don't change sheet from last tenant. Didn't bother to call since you don't know what's the next room surprise you plus all the moving with kids. Around 11:30pm or so, lost power, no notice, no explanation, just total darkness, kids woke up and scared, had to hold to sleep, around 1:30am, the whole unit is shaking, I thought it's earthquake, but soon realize it could be the train. At the same time, power came back, loud noise from the heater. Kids woke up again. What can I say, tough night. You think it's over, think again. No hot water in the morning, called front desk, power loss caused by bc Hydro last night, hot water is being fixed as we talk… en… good luck. Now you can decide whether you want to stay in this location. By the way, the outside park and wharf is pretty.

Lovely hotel right next to the river park. A bit of a walk to town (10mins? ) but the air and scenery are totally worth it.

The view from the room was incredible and the staff were super friendly. The hotel could use some work however. I noticed crooked light fixtures, broken jacuzzi jets for the hot tub and cobwebs everywhere. Even still I'd stay again. Everything was clean and tidy; just a little worn down.

For tourists, hotel location is good, because three minutes walk to the subway entrance, the most important is several attractions, take the subway only two or three stations, such as walking Shing can be.
The check-in order does not offer breakfast, but the boss is a nice guy who can provide breakfast for free, but only brown bread and butter. The boss only enjoys this privilege in the shop.
Remind you, in the big hotel or the passenger Information Center buys the daypass to go to play or the admission visit, you will have the value to enjoy certainly to let you save a lot of expenses, including the bus expense.
Night will be to the city center of 360 on the 46 floor to see the night, to the former Olympic increase pavilion has 145 degrees angle lift elevator, look at the city face.

Fantastic food. Fantastic service and beautiful view. The sand castle and pier near by are a must see.

No word of a lie this was the most disgusting room of my life… I'm about to lay on the bed when we walk into our room (after 8 hours of travel), to notice blood stains on the comforter. I peel back the bedding and there's everything from pubic hair to human hair all over the sheets, dust bunnies all over the pillows; I peel back another layer and the mattress is yellow along with a mattress cover that's bunched up and also covered in pubic hair. There's human fluids of some sort on the mirror or something smeared, as well as foundation or paint smeared all into the white shear curtains. I call the main desk to report the issue and notice another hair floating in the dust on the bed side table! This was my upgraded room! lol I would love to say I'm joking and over exaggerating but I'm far from it. I speak to management about these atrocities and he says they'll send housekeeping in. No thanks buddy I want a new room and I want it cleaned. I told him to maybe come to my actual room so I could show him in person. They give me 50% off my room for the night but I come to find out the 50% off was based on a higher booking price that I wasn't given. So a whopping $30 off. They cleaned a new room for us, thank God but as I'm laying in their itchy sheets I notice cobwebs on the ceiling! Ugh! I WILL NEVER stay at this hotel again or any chain hotel with this name attached, don't care if my family knows the builder!

Second time at this hotel. Love it! Clean, well appointed rooms. Great restaurant and bar overlooking the waterfront. Fantastic amenities and well situated in town.

The hotel is very nice and kept clean. The fort desk staff are absolutely THE BEST in helping navigate complicated reservations (like mine) Fiesal the front office manager went above and beyond to accommodate us in every way possible. The awesome treatment, and the clean, comfortable rooms will definitely have us staying here in the future. As a side note, the restaurant in the hotel had a lack of organic and gluten free options, a not so clean patio, and sub par service. *Stay at the hotel, but stay away from the restaurant.

This place is very nice. The details in the room pampers you. And for a reasonable price. I stayed on other hotels of the same price and you can't compare. Plus nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. Restaurants and bar. Great service. The only one thing I didn't like and it has nothing to do with them is one of the businesses within the hotel. The French Caffè. Great attention and nice place but they don't have many good options. Definitely I would come back more days.

Always friendly staff, the lobby offers a very unique feel. Artsy and the view of the lake is beautiful.

My brother's wedding reception was held in one of the conference rooms and it went great. There were no issues I could see and the food was excellent (their catering staff).

Beautiful banquet hall and professional staff. They had everything we needed to put on a flawless event.

Great location and views, rooms starting to get outdated staff friendly. Had bad experience when hosted our wedding reception there a few years ago but hopefully they got rid of that person who managed the conference rooms.

Amazing experience. Love the night manager he was very kind. Housekeeping was great. View was amazing. Love that they are pet friendly. Unfortunately never got to experience their pool or spa. Restaurant was OK.

Superb service and lake view rooms. Had to ask the front desk to stop a neighbour smoking and they got onto it right away. Quiet, fantastic view, and very comfortable bed. Lobby is currently going through major upgrade though, construction material was everywhere. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Stayed here twice over the last week. First night, my friend and I enjoyed the view from the balcony, watching the herons, geese, and nesting birds. We were concerned about the food based on previous comments, but ordered room service and were satisfied with the food. The second stay was 6 days later. Ate at the Pub. Her nachos were loaded with chicken and cheese; so much so, she wished they had offered a half-order. I had the pork medallions. Excellent. Folks at the front desk and Pub couldn't be nicer. They remembered us from the previous stay, had my friend's charger that she had forgotten waiting for us at the front desk, and inquired about our travels. I will definitely be coming here again. The shops around the resort close early (many at 4 or 5 pm) but the staff were able to provide directions to other places that were open. Really enjoyed our stay, both times.

I liked the beated outdoor pool. It was nice.

Worst hotel I think I've ever stayed at in the 8 years I've been staying in hotels for business accross western Canada. Other than the fact the front attendant was overly cheerful and accomodating, this hotel is a complete waste of money. Dissapointing too because I booked it based on my stay at the one in Vernon. To start, the entire hotel was freezing cold. Not warm, cold. The halls looked like they'd never been vacuumed. Garbage on the floor and room service dishes that look as though they've been there more than a few days. Arrived to my king sized suite (with balcony overlooking Shuswap lake that unfortunately is the swamp end of the lake, not a very pretty view) to find a noticeable stain on the carpet and no computer desk and chair. Not even a TV stand or dresser or anything. Half empty room for $170/night! Asked to be transferred to a room that had a desk and chair so I could attend to business emails. Front attendant brought me keys for another suite. Upon arriving this one had a desk but no standard office chair, instead a wooden kitchen chair. Seriously? And the top of the desk had something spilled on it that had never been cleaned up. Then I noticed the tile floors which look like they've never been mopped. King size bed as about as comfortable as a cardboard box. I could go on and on or I could just advise you to book at any other hotel in Salmon Arm other than here where you will actually get your money's worth and a decent night's rest.

Rooms are clean and spacious. The view is outstanding! Staff is friendly and very helpful. Had a delicious steak dinner in the pub. I enjoyed a very relaxing and peaceful two days/nights. Highly recommend this jewel in Salmon Arm.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at this hotel for a wedding. Based on the reviews and their website, we were pretty excited about our stay. We even received a lake-side room at a special wedding rate, which I had called ahead to confirm we were eligible for. Upon arriving to the hotel, I discovered that they were intending to charge me the full room rate. After confirming that I was given a wedding rate through my cell phone's e-mail, they were quick to change it. A little suspicious, I thought. When we got to the room, we were surprised to learn "lake-view" actually means "mud view". The hotel was on the end of a recessed lake making our view that of a lovely wallowing mud pit that I expected a hippo to emerge from at any minute. It was disgusting. My friends who had opted for the city view room had a much nicer view of Salmon Arm. And if you've ever been to Salmon Arm, you'll know that isn't saying much. The last issue I had was really my own doing. We went to the pool (which was very nicely set-up — the only highlight of our stay with the hotel) and brought our room towels down with us, not sure if towels were provided pool-side (they are). We left them downstairs to be cleaned, and when I returned upstairs to shower I had no towel to dry off. So I called front desk for one. After saying they would send one up, I called back 15 minutes later. It's on its way, they said.
