290 a night and we could not use the washroom the entire night. Finally after two techs came they left us with no door handle. Other ppls stay was no better I talked to every time I went to the front desk ppl were getting mad.

So we got evacuated went to ESS in salmon arm they called the hilltop and ended up setting us up there. When ESS called the hilltop they informed them that we had 2 dogs hilltop then said that's fine just have to pay a pet deposit ok fine easy enough…
nothing else was said to us or ESS just that they needed a pet deposit wich ESS agreed to pay. We stayed a total of 8 days then the evac order got lifted and we went home. During checkout the hotel told us that we owed a pet fee of 20$ a day. They never said nothing when ESS called them nothing to me when we checked in so we ended up with tax having to pay 186$ for a pet fee that if the hotel said something ESS woulda paid for.
they stuck us with the bill after being evacuated and everything and there attitude about it was what really made me sick they didn't care about being evacuated at all me and my family will never go back I hope Noone else does either!

The pool is the best part! We love it.

The landscaped pool area was the BEST!

Beds are very soft and there are large liquid hand soap that have obviously been used by others.

We had a adult weekend away, fantastic! Clean room, super friendly staff at check in and in the restaurant as well. Restaurant on site was delicious for our dinner and the continental breakfast in the morning was also nice. Pool is spectacular, we can’t wait to go back again.

Lovely hotel for families, great pool area! Spacious rooms and pet friendly. Great restaurant and everyone is very friendly. We will be back.

We just returned from a great holiday. We liked it so much that we stayed an extra two days. The staff are exceptionally nice, the food is good, the landscaping and pool like paradise.

Friendly and very respectful reception and housecleaning staff. Beautiful pool and spacious rooms. The reason we have been coming back for several years.
Cant say the same about restaurant. Breakfasts have been good.
Dinner not so. Usually pricey so dont dine there much. Tried today, waited for service, way too long. Then had to listen to the server tell another customer to “not talk” while she explained why they had not waited on them. Even a small acknowledgment would have been better than walking by, then arguing with them about why they had not seated them. And there was a table of 6 empty for all to see. Tell them to sit, but busy so would be a few minutes before they could wait on them would have been better than just ignoring them and then telling the customer to “not talk” so she could give her an excuse.
We left and in ten minutes from the time we left we had our drinks in front of us and our food orders in. Sad, but true.

We had a great stay here! The pool is beautiful, and we had a nice soak in the hot tub. Free breakfast was decent, especially the waffles. Will stay again.

Friendly staff and very clean (not just the staff; the hotel too). They take service personally. There is a very good full breakfast included and a pool and hot tub open seasonally. Easy access next to the freeway but no road noise detected.

Rooms are old looking bed comfortable and clean. Amazing pool. Big enough to swim lengths the way it was designed. Friendly staff.

Don't waste your money! Expensive room that did not have working A/C, old and outdated. No working manager on weekends to help with customer complaints, no maintenance staff on weekends to fix A/C unit. 35 degree day outside made it difficult for our 7 month old to sleep. Deep fryer was broken. Only 2 kitchen staff that worked the weekend even though they were booked solid. They could not accommodate our 20 person reservation and gave us recommendations to go fine else where. Would never go back. The only thing that this place has going for it is the pool area.

Beautiful room. We had a suite. Grandkids loved pool. They said the only thing that would make it better is a waterside. Great staff. Thank you.

We’ve been stopping by here at three different times each of the last 6 years. Always friendly, clean and fun. We catch the pool in spring, summer and most falls. Pool service in summer is pretty good. I will continue to use this as our prime stopover between Calgary and Vancouver.

So disappointed! Staff was unfriendly.
We called the front Desk Clerk to explain what we discovered in our room when my partner pulled the nightstand out to plug her phone in.
The clerk basically told us “no way that there would be traps in the room and that he would have to call the manager”
While waiting for him to call back we moved the couch out and found a bigger trap against the wall.
The Clerk called us back saying “he spoke to pest control at the hotel and their would be no reason to have traps in that room”.
This was such a horrible experience as it was our anniversary and drove 6 hours to this hotel. Checked out at 11pm and found a room at the Comfort Inn for the same price and better quality. Oh and NO TRAPS
Would never recommend this to anyone… I would think, if they have pest control on staff, they must have a pest problem.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous service and the most incredible pool. We got a pool side room, were able to bring the dog with us and really enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a room in Salmon Arm!

Nice place, well priced. A lot of smiles from staff. We never get a chance to use the pool, but it looks great.

Room was very spàcious with very comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the stand alone shower and soaker tub. Only downside I can think of was the pool wasn't ready for use the day we arrived.

I stayed here for a week in 2015 and it was one of the best vacations I have ever took. From the staff to the town. parking is easily accessible from the highway and there is definitely enough room to park. The pool is great, my wife and I loved everything about it. the room was fantastic, along with the ac for those hot summer days. The bathroom was fantastic and large, though could use some updating but there was nothing wrong with it. My wife and I had a fantastic stay here and are planning to come back as soon as we possibly can! Thank you to the staff for being polite and professional and holding high standards. I never see this kind of service in Calgary anymore.

DO NOT bring anything worth value to this hotel. I left my watch in this hotel and called soon after I left. I called the concierge whom had told me he would return my call after he looked, he did not. I called back myself and received an excuse that he was waiting to talk to the cleaning staff. He then again told me he would call me back. Did he? No. I HAD TO CALL BACK AGAIN to find out they had “not found it”. When I responded that it was in their hotel I was met with attitude. This on top of the fact that they charged $134 for a very old, outdated room is appalling. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Truly a very very displeasing stay.

Had a great stay here on our way through Salmon Arm. Excellent service. Large room and bathroom and excellent restaurant. Best continental breakfast anywhere we have stayed. And superb dinner the night before.

From the moment I had called this hotel, I had received nothing but fantastic customer service. I was bringing my large family down for a little getaway and they found us the perfect room even though they were almost all booked up. The front desk was extremely welcoming and pleasant. I do not remember his name but the man with short blonde hair was so kind and accommodating. For the price point, this hotel was by far the cleanest I have been in. It smelled cleaned, looked clean and was maintained so well. We had such a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back to this hotel with my family.

Amazing staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I would honestly come to Salmon arm again just to stay at this hotel again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool which was very nice. The hotel had great service. They offer poolside service and even cleaned the bugs off of my windshield the first night we were there. The pool was a great way to enjoy the hot weather! I will definitely be going back.

Double charging, multiple bill mistakes, just deal with it hotel temperatures. Long winded but worth reading. Myself and my family stayed at the Podollan Inn resort. My family was given confirmation email receipts of the room prices for the nights including any and all applicable taxes. Upon checkout two of the bills handed to us were higher then what we were promised in the email that they themselves distributed. When we tried to enforce the correct price for our rooms the manager and staff up front would not comply initially and even went as far as to threaten to call law enforcement on us. Additionally after we finally managed to have the correct amount charged to us I checked my Visa statement to find that, I had been charged the price of my room, an additional room, and the additional prices incurred by that room. My parents were also charged the price of my room on top of the bill for there room. The hotel is in the works of fixing their mistake but this was the most unprofessional exhausting and stressful nonsense that I have ever had to deal with staying at a "resort"

Spacious rooms, moderately clean, with microwave and filter coffee device. Front desk very tried, otherwise staff rather listless and swallowed and correspondingly superficial. Breakfast at 9 p. M. Is a disaster. Too little space, too little eating and drinks dished out, immature fruits etc. Manager absent, or invisible, as a response to the complaints comes: "We give ourselves tossing … " yes but how and who manages the whole thing? Insufficient for this price category. The main street in front of the house makes the rooms on this side of the house to sleep and recover unusable. Air conditioners too loud. Pool with interesting shape, very flat, ideal for children. Too few lie and chairs. Management needs to respond and act. Not recommended. Photos available … see also trippadvisor.

The pool area was a fantastic surprise. It was like being at a tropical resort in the Rockies! The poolside food & drink service was also a pleasant surprise. The restaurant (Table 24) was a colossal letdown however. Without going into too much detail — they didn't get anything right. I'd recommend eating elsewhere if you stay here.

They took very good care of me and the complimentary breakfast was delicious! Would recommend to anyone.

What an amazing place! Absolutely beautiful from the hotel property, the room and the staff. Very reasonable priced for the room and the restaurant. The hotel staff and the restaurant went out of there way for us.

Great pool but not what we expected for breakfast. Website said hot breakfast but only hot things were oatmeal waffles and toast. Other hotels offer much more. Rooms were nice but expected a patio or balcony. Not sure if I would stay here again.

I had a great stay here. The swimming pool was really spectacular. TV is pretty new as well.

Great little place but for the fruit fly invasion throughout the restaurant and lobby. I'm not talking about a small problem, it's invasive. The pour staff puts napkins over everyone's wine in an effort to combat the issue.

Absolutely loved it here! It was my first time ever being in BC and travelled all the way from Saskatchewan with my husband and 5 year old daughter. We had an absolute blast! The rooms were huge and amazing, the pool was a perfect tempterature (I was pregnant at the time so it was definitely relaxing). The restaurants pricing for food was a little outrageous, but other than that, it was fabulous! Definitely looking forward to going back!

Great Wi-Fi speed. A good choice if you drive to banff.

The hotel was quite clean. Rooms are quite large and comfortable. Being a Shaw user, it was refreshing to see Shaw TV services. Wi-Fi had a moment that did not work, but luckily I had Shaw Open Wi-Fi. Customer service was really nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

What a nice place to stay. Clean rooms, good air conditioning, comfy beds, friendly staff. The swimming pool at this hotel is just amazing, we were able to swim up to our little patio at the back of our room. Included with the cost of the room is a real breakfast (I had an omelette) This hotel is pet friendly and has nice hiking trails for you and your dog. One of the other guests (staying about 5 rooms away from us towards the highway) told me that he could hear noises coming from the pipes all night long, he had trouble sleeping due to the noise. I didn't hear any noise and that's why I'm still rating this hotel a 5/5 Something for you to keep in mind though.

Great experience! 1. Rooms: Were clean, well maintained. Beds were super comfortable. Down duvet. Great service staff. So quiet we didn't know anyone else was in the place! 2. Food: Complimentary breakfast was great! Eggs, sausages, ham, granola, yogurt, pasties, muffins, juice, coffee, wow! 3. Pool: A really incredible pool, lots of fun! All in all a real treat. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! PS: While we were there, some moron complained about the breakfast! We couldn't believe it! Most hotels you get a stale bagel and warm coffee. This was a full sit-down meal! Just goes to show you, some people need to find something to complain about — even if they have to invent it. Really a nice place — go for it!

I got a room with 2 queen beds plus one big sofa bed. It was great for four of us together. Linens are clean. Cozy bed. Complete room facilities including microwave, refrigerator, heater, TV, hair dryer, bath tub… we did not reserve the room, but we are lucky to have a one night stay in a cozy room on our way to Banff from Whistler. Luv it!
