Beautiful rooms that are clean and sanitized (even the remote and tissue boxes are sealed). Large bedroom/sitting area space and a restroom with lots of countertop space. Extremely friendly, courteous and accommodating staff. We are repeat customers because we really enjoy the hotel.

All of it is awesome.

From the moment we arrived at your hotel we relaxed. Everything was made so easy for us after a long 5 weeks on the road. Our arrival was seamless and we were in our room with our bags in minutes. Everything about your hotel is so beautifully refined. The lounge has a perfect ambience and all the staff have been delightful and oh so helpful. There was nothing that we needed in our 2 night stay here that wasn’t catered for. Just perfect. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We will long remember this lovely hotel and will pass on our experience with many people I’m sure.

Excellent service! All the staff are very polite and helpful. We stayed overnight for our honeymoon and we got a room upgrade and complimentary champagne and strawberries, was a very nice experience. Would definitely recommend and stay here again, thank you to the L’Hermitage team for our wonderful stay.

A lovely hotel. Stylish rooms with plenty of space. Great hot tub and sea salt pool all heated. Nice time relaxing in the hot tub after a good walk around Stanley Park. Close to a good and restaurants. Will stay here again.

My husband drove us from Chicago to Vancouver for the road trip of a lifetime. Took us five days to get there and yes the kids asked “are we there yet” the entire time. Chose this hotel because of the great reviews. The location is great, the staff is friendly and the room service is excellent. The rooms were just ok. They look much better in the photos on the website than they do in real life. Nothing luxurious about the rooms at all. We had a suite and there was one very tiny bathroom. But the room was very clean and quiet.

We took a one-and-a-half-year-old to live in One bed signature suite, a bit like a hotel-style managed apartment, a room, a study, a study, a full kitchen with all kinds of cutlery, as well as kitchen processors, oven microwave, dishwasher, food conditioner and so on, there is also a dryer, The hotel also has a gym and three warm steam room but we only look not used, in short the hardware part is great!
Ideal for passengers who stay for a few more days! The staff are friendly again, the hotel address is quite convenient, it takes less than ten minutes to get to skytrain, downstairs there is a great supermarket and 24 hours Tim Horton, there are many exotic dishes nearby, except the telus garden is being built opposite everything is perfect,
Add a lot to our journey! There is breakfast to buy, but because it is too convenient to eat breakfast nearby, so it is not necessary to eat breakfast in the restaurant.

This is an excellent hotel. The service is amazing from start to finish! Every one is attentive, kind, and so helpful! It’s one of the best stays I’ve had in a very long time. This kind of service is very uncommon and always welcomed. They deserve more then 5 stars!

We had high tea at 5pm and we were the only ones seated. The high ceilings and talk windows give the otherwise cozy room an elevated feeling of elegance. The experience of high tea for me is also about the ritual and beauty of serving objects and the quality of the teas. The tea cups felt more like hotel coffee cups rather than a fancy garden tea shop, an ambience the lovely rooftop garden helps create. The teas smelled good but we could choose only one. At other tea salons more than one tea at full high tea service is the standard. The service was good but a little more out of reach towards the end. But when our server was present she was great. The three teir stack of snacks was lovely but not suited for dietary restrictions concerning dairy or gluten. Overall a pleasant experience and a few more tweaks with the details would earn this review two more stars.

Superb service and amenities. The staff even gave a stuffed animal to our child for Easter. So sweet!

Staff was super helpful and friendly! The rooms were gorgeous. Great place to spend some time while in the Vancouver; you won't want to go out and explore the city because it's so cozy inside!

A very nice hotel overall. Wonderful location, amazing staff, and has an air of understated quality. Rooms range from standard (as seen in this picture — but still quite nice), to modern, redone, and luxurious. If you prefer something other than a big chain, and all the characteristics and nuances that come with that, then this place is for you.

The staff was excellent, extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was very nice and luxurious, with a big balcony and soaker tub. The location was the best, we were a ten minute walk from pretty much everything downtown, including gastown. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Such great service. 15 minutes after checking in we received a call if everything looked ok! Spacious and kitchen is amazing in the king suite. The pull out bed was awful, however and the king bed had a few lumps. Other than that. Just amazing!

The staff is truly remarkable. I had an AirBnB fall through and I was at a café with my mother, and two small children. In the time it took for us to drive over they had put a crib in our suite. This is my new favourite hotel in Vancouver and I will definitely be back. A nice bonus is the in-room dining was quite good and very reasonable.

This boutique hotel in Vancouver was the biggest surprise of the our trip! I’ve stayed in countless hotels in the US, Canada and abroad-this was THE most pleasant Hotel experience I’ve ever had. Rooms are aesthetically wonderful, the Hotels amenities are top notch (pool, 5th floor patio and amazing breakfast) but the single largest contributing factor to my 5 star review, is the staff. Attentive, friendly, accommodating and professional. They engaged with us every time we came to the lobby and asked us if we had a great time, recommended local eateries or made reservations for us, all while smiling, holding doors and remembering things about us. “Have a wonderful time at Bacchus tonight… etc”. Also the staff during the Hotel breakfast were phenomenal. This was an amazing experience and they should know it. Stay there with 100% confidence knowing it’s better than the Fairmont or any other luxury hotel.

This hotel is excellent, luxurious but not pretentious with great customer service oriented staff. I felt so well taken care of. I highly recommend the valet parking service if you have a car. The roof top pool, hot tub and the gym and lovely breakfast lounge were icing on top of the cake. The room was very clean and well decorated. You can't even ask for a better location in Vancouver, walkable to everything. Highly recommend it. Rare experience to have it all in one place!

The nicest hotel in Vancouver. The staff is absolutely wonderful, really helpful and they remember details from your previous stay, really adds a personal touch. The rooms are gorgeous, very large, huge if you book a suite. Some of the rooms have a kitchen so it’s very convenient to have a full size fridge and dishes, etc. Bed is very comfortable, they have a beautiful fitness centre, pool and hot tub. I highly recommend this and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you’re getting.

Absolutely love this hotel and will stay at the hotel again the next time. Very comfortable beds and the sheets are luxuriously smooth. Personalised touches such as a welcome note in the room and remembering revisits with a 'welcome back' note. Very short-term storage facilities available at the hotel should you need to store your luggage there for a few days until you return. Good service and friendly staff members. Besides making you feel at home, they make you feel special.

The hotel delivers in every respect, with exceptional service, staff that always go the extra mile to delight, and an impeccable room and facilities. It's simply how I wish every hotel — and indeed every business — was run. We can't wait to come back.

Excellent rooms in a great downtown location. Easy walk to everywhere. World class concierge/manager/staff made our stay wonderful.

Service is great. But maintenance at midnight isn't a great way to retain customers. Aesthetically this hotel is dated.

The best hotel we have ever stayed in. The road works out front made it difficult for us to get in so were given a complimentary breakfast without even asking. The room was fantastic and the staff could not do enough to help us. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this hotel has provided the best service I've had at a hotel ever. Celebrated my first anniversary with my wife and Elena and team were the most responsive, accommodating staff I've ever dealt with. We arrived early and were able to check in to a nice corner view room right next to the post on the fifth floor. There are steam rooms, pool, jacuzzi, gym, business center, breakfast options and also a nice restaurant downstairs (Medina). Free umbrella and bike rentals, and valet car service as well. Very pleased with our stay and the service, thanks for a great weekend!

Outstanding service. Everything from the time I booked on the phone, to the valet when we pulled up and the front desk, all the staff were amazing and greeted us with nothing but smiles even when just passing us in the hallway. Room was immaculate, breakfast was a simple buffet but so full of flavor and delicious.

My stay was amazing. The suite was exceedingly clean, the service was always polite despite my incessant questioning, and the amenities provided were spectacular. The location downtown was great as we had an ample amount of choices for restaurants and there was valet parking to avoid the nightmare of finding parking downtown. Overall it really was a 5 star experience. They even upgraded our stay to a deluxe package when we arrived. I would highly recommend it to my friends.

Amazing hotel and lovely staff, we stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon and we couldn't have felt more welcome. Complimentary bottle of bubbles on arrival, amazing outdoor jacuzzi and pool, huge suite room and comfy bed. Loved every minute!

This is a definite 5 star hotel. The staff are kind and helpful. The concierge gave us great ideas of things to do before we arrived. The rooms are large and very clean. The location is perfect and I don't think that I could ever stay anywhere other than here. Thanks to all the staff that make this a home away from home.

Excellent service! The room we had was Incredible nice and specious. The location is very central. It's also right beside Cafe Medina!

Hasn't lived up to the hype… been here a total of 20 minutes and its not all that. No door guy, no valet guy (its the only way to park here, there should be someone waiting at all times) I had to leave the car in the street while running, unload and manhandle 2 suitcases inside and dropped one before someone offered a hand. Another guest mentioned the language barrier, yeah I can see that being an issue during our stay. We will see…

This hotel is for the dogs. When I checked in I was told nothing about my room (603) being a pet room, nor did I think to ask as this was a supposed pricey high end hotel. I have severe allergies to pets. The priority room I was given was a known pet room (known by the staff who failed to mention it). My husband started sneezing and I was getting sick. There was a heaviness odor in the room, however, at the time I had no idea that pets had been in that room. I started having trouble breathing when I was inside the room. I contacted the front desk to ask about the room and I was transferred to another person since the girl wouldn't tell me if there had been pets in that room before my arrival. I was told that room 603 IS a pet room and I was also told why didn't I ask for a pet free room when I checked in?! OMG, how was I supposed to have any idea they rented rooms to pets? The hotel staff was rude and refused to do anything. I had to call 911 to be taken by ambulance where my husband and I spent the night at St. Paul's Hospital. On Monday morning, when I arrived back at the hotel from the hospital to retrieve my belongings, Richards Street was in pure chaos with the massive construction across the street where they've been building condo's for the last three years. The cab ride turned out to be an expensive ride. The hotel has three floors (5, 6, 7).

Flys in the breakfast everyday upsets me. They put towels over some of it to help but it just does not work. Who wants to eat around bugs? For the money you pay for the room I expect so much more. Huge disappointment.
