I arrived at 7 p. M. And my reserved room wasn't as specified, I waited till 10 p. M. Before they placed me in a room that reek of smoke and was not up to standards. The staff was very rude. By the time I got to my room I was very tired and I had missed my dinner. Rosedale was very Unapologetic! I'll never stay there again.

Stayed here for the 2nd time in September for 10 nights, place is well situated for amenities, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and well maintained.

Lovely room with kitchenette, a nice surprise. Lovely staff, complementary toiletries, clean and handy location. Our breakfast was less than we expected for a continental breakfast. I was hoping for a choice of cooked breakfast items, however this is not done here, perhaps because there are facilities inside the rooms. I was not keen on the portioned honey, jams, Kraft cheese, however found they have choice of three cereals and porridge. What I found difficult was that you had to show your key card to be able to have breakfast. I witnessed guests being turned away when showing their key card because their breakfast was not prepaid. Perhaps management could revise this system, I found this rather uncomfortable, though this did not apply to us. Would recommend this hotel' perhaps best not to go for the breakfast. Thank you Rosedale for a pleasant stay.

Here for a 3 week work trip, the deluxe double suite is nice, got a lovely colors of the third floor veranda. Staff was very polite and attentive, during any shift I encountered them. I should note this review is 1 of 3 weeks into my stay, but I don't see anything changing and I'd highly recommend them.

Good hotel and rooms have a great kitchenette! Clean bathroom and well maintained. Clean rooms as well. Underground parking is decent despite having to go through a dark basement.

Great place to get drinks with friends. Nice view of the city and great atmosphere. Service was very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a place to relax this is where you want to be.

Lovely hotel, clean rooms, big enough to sleep in, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, only downside room was south facing and therefore in the sun all day, made for a very warm night even with aircon on, not the hotels’ fault at all but can’t blame the sun. Need slightly less wattage bulbs in the bathroom, almost caught a tan but overall a pleasant experience.

Great location close to tons of restaurants, stadiums, QE theater and the water. Rooms are nice and have a small kitchen to make your own food. We were able to use the swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room.

I would not recommend this hotel. I am here on a long stay with WCB and I am transgender. I never ask to be injured and do not expect to be treated like I am here. The front desk man Gary has continued to be disrespectful to me. I arrived early and was told I need to wait for someone to check out. Its now 11:30 I arrived at 9am. I could expect to wait a short time. As I sat in lobby at least 30 guest have checked out and when I ask for a room I was told not till the afternoon. And when I walk away. He GERY said something to a co worker and they both looked at me and laughed. Not a friendly hotel. Not somewhere I would recommend in Vancouver.

I definitely plan on staying here again. I won a two-night stay for my mum. We loved our room. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, and close to everything. We even had a little kitchenette… didn’t use it, but we had it! Top it off, we loved the view from our room.

Had a king suite at this hotel which included a kitchenette and living room. The suite was clean and well equipped. We had a problem with the fridge when we arrived. Maintenance arrived immediately and sorted this — impressed. The staff were all brilliant and very friendly. Continental breakfast was included and there enough choice for myself and our party (cereals, toast, eggs, pastries, juices, teas and coffees). The hotel is ready for some updating but don’t let this put you off choosing this hotel. It soon feels likes home. It’s location means you can reach anywhere around downtown easily.

Had a blast! 2 adults and 4 small children, and we loved it! Room wasn't as small as shown on website. Put up a playpen with no problem and lots of windows (room 424). Pool was a blast for the kids and hot tub was HOT, just the way I like it! Thanks for cleaning the hot tub, it needed it! (People peeing in it made it really dark yellow, yuck! )

Quite well located. Very dated and needs some upgrading. Room was spacious and there is a small functional kitchenette. Staff were friendly and helpful. In all, clean functional and tidy. The breakfast is included, but poor selection and quality and the breakfast room is sparse and unwelcoming. It seemed like an afterthought and felt like a factory.

Great location and great service from the staff. Slightly dated decor and the lifts sometimes took a while to get to the designated floor. Has a bar/restaurant adjacent on the ground floor — Original Joe's, which did good food and drink. Would stay again.

Overall a really decent hotel :) Very spacious (like a small apartment) and clean rooms. The location is also brilliantly central. Please stop using paper cups (ridiculously wasteful), only tiny side plates (creates lots of mess overall) and buy some proper toasters (current ones are incredibly slow) for the breakfast. Then I'd rate you a 5/5!

Really great location and good service. The room was nice and really liked the suite feel with separate bedrooms from the main area. Made travelling with out toddler much easy having his own room to sleep and play in. Rooms are slightly dated but nice and would stay here again.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Very good location.

King size bed had a great bedroom window looking outside, 12 floor so the view was not great but higher floors would be nicer for sure. Big room, nice kitchenette even had an oven, fridge and tiny freezer. Very big "living room" area. Would go again, try to get higher floor for the view. No balcony with our room.

Quality service and rooms are very cleanly. Rooms have great city views! Restaurant food is always good.

Nice hotel. Staff are nice and courteous. All rooms I've stayed at (as a business guest) feature a kitchenette stocked with silverware and plates. Some rooms even feature a seating area for your guests (like a small one bed apartment). Beautiful view of the city and great location, with many bars and restaurants all within walking distance.

For the vicinity, the facilities, the food options, the staff, the price … everything is great with this place. Right in the middle of downtown Vancouver. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Very good choice. We were upgraded, too, without even asking. Suppose to be we will stay only for 3 nights and get another cheaper hotel. We end up coming back to this hotel for another 14days stay. Very accomodating front desk staffs, very good housekeeping people, and concierge. The breakfast is ok with me as the staffs there are taking really good care of your needs. Bed was very clean and comfortable. Got everything I need in a clean kitchen in my room. Close to stations and shopping areas. Sometimes a little noisy but who cares. We slept well. We'll surely come back and recommend to all my friends. Keep it up guys!

Really polite front desk staff who were really helpful and nice. The restaurant downstairs was better than expected. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We were very happy with our stay.

Suite is clean, amenities are exactly as advertised. Continental breakfast is lacking, based on other long stays with competing hotels. Simply lacks variety, and I know there are some things that could be done to improve it, such as an automated waffle or pancake maker. Happy with attached Original Joe's.

We always enjoy our stay at the Rosedale. The only negative we encounter is the extra fee for parking. Their breakfast option is "meh". But the pool is excellent, the beds are comfortable, the views are nice and the location is awesome. We are always impressed with the feeling of space they manage in a compact space. This was our 3rd stay and won't be our last.

Great location, walking distance to so many food options that in discovering more each day, more than I can visit in my 1 week visit. I even discovered a playmate right downstairs for any forgotten sundries. Even though our rooms were opposite the elevators, it was quiet in the living room. The rooms are clean and the bedrooms bright with the floor to ceiling windows. I've been making tea and coffee each day in the kitchenette. The only drawback is the small amount of counter space, tiny mugs and no dishwasher.

The hotel was great nothing to complain about everything was fantastic the pool hot tub and sauna were clean the steam room was down for maintenance but that wasn’t a big deal even the pillows were the best, 5 out of 5

One of my favourite places to stay in Vancouver. Well priced with great facilities. A gym, sauna, steam room, and pool downstairs. You basically get a condo type room. This is great on business or with the family on a Vancouver vacation. Very close to everything you need in the city.

Good hotel, very central and price.

For the price, this was not a very good hotel at all. Fridge in kitchenette froze everything in it, sink in kitchenette somehow leaked out onto the carpet around it, couch smelt like pee, eventually even the bathroom toilet just kept running and maintenance said it would need to be fixed and left it running. The bedrooms were freezing cold as the heater warmed the main living area but not the bedrooms. Elevators are constantly slow and then require maintenance which means even more crowded and slow. Management did not respond to complaints I made at all. I have stayed at this hotel for the past 6 years and it has continued to go downhill with no updating whatsoever. Do not recommend it at all.

Excellent Hotel. Very central. Convenient Mini Market to blocks and close to main streets.

Class Hotel. Impressive construction with many leisure activities available. The suite was generously cut including kitchenette, with manifold selection of capsules of coffee — and tea specialities for the existing machine (free of charge). The breakfast buffet on the next morning was clearly arranged.

Stayed here with my timeshare Vacation International. The accommodations were fabulous. Corner unit with huge windows. King size bed. Nice furnishings.

Check in was really easy. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Hotel is very close to some great restaurants, all within walking distance. The room was very clean and cozy. Bed was really comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Old but good. Great location near Granville and both the stadiums. The rooms are quiet but dated. I think every room is a full suite with a actual little kitchen fridge and stove. There's even dishes in the room and a living room area, so if you're planning to stay a while you can cook right there. They include a decent Continental breakfast and there is a small pool. Low cost.

We come here nearly every time we travel. The suites are great for traveling with kids and making sure they have a separate room. The pool is shallow enough to not worry too much about early swimmers. The breakfast is standard fare. All the rooms have stoves and fridges and microwaves, and I think there's laundry on-site. This place would be overkill if you were just coming for a night by yourself, but for a family visiting for a week, it's amazing.

The service was great and very professional. The room was comfortable and the view stunning. Only spent one night so didn't get to avail myself of all the amenities, but would love to go again. Fantastic location, right in the center of lots of things; food, entertainment, shopping, spas and much more.

It's very handy having the cooking facilities although the plates are very small and there's only one normal and one frying pan, it was sufficient though. Room was nice although living area dark as is away from the window. Very convenient for BC Place, would stay again.

The staff are friendly and helpful. It's in a great location with lots of things to do and places to eat. Wifi is decent and usable for streaming video/video chat. The view can be amazing too, especially on the upper floors. The rooms are decently sized, too and feature a kitchenette with a large fridge and even an oven with stove top. Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in for work.

Location and parking are the only nice things about this hotel. The rooms are completely outdated. The beds are uncomfortable and don't even have a fitted sheet, the styling is old, the kitchenette is worn, the sink was backing up in the bathroom, and the list goes on. There isn't anything nice in this hotel except the lobby. Oh and if you want breakfast don't book with Expedia, I called the front desk asking what time breakfast is and was informed it's not included because we booked with Expedia. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

While certainly not fancy or upscale, the hotel punches above its weight. The condo-style rooms are clean and feature well appointed kitchenettes and, if you're lucky, a balcony with a great downtown view. The pool and hot tub are large and clean (there's also a decent steam room), and the staff are kind and down-to-earth. Despite the lower prices, it's very well located and it doesn't attract the wrong kind of crowd. If you're looking for value and a hassle-free stay, book this hotel.

I own a tour company in Vancouver and my guests who stay at Rosedale on Robson always tell me that they love the experience of staying there. The check-in process is friendly and efficient. Location is superb with dozens on the best restaurants in town within 5 minutes walking.

Perfect for getting to all places of importance. Agree. Very noisy ineffective air conditioning, but hey, I am deaf & opened a window. Would recommend it!

This hotel is convenient to walk to most attractions. We took the Hop On bus. Hotel is clean and rooms spacious. I loved the Spaceaid kitchen design. Very compact. Helpful staff, plenty if restaurants near by.

Our stay was enjoyable. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. The location is great for walking around Vancouver. The only issue that we had is that the air conditioning unit in our friends' room was not functioning properly, so their room was uncomfortably warm at night.

Outstanding service. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Stayed there for a night of clubbing and requested a deluxe suite and was upgraded to a superior suite for free.

I was there visiting family who was celebrating a birthday. The restaurant attached to the hotel was tasty, though a bit expensive. Parking was very expensive, ID recommend parking on the other side of the block for half the price.

It was a lovely hotel. First time staying there. The room was large and the views of downtown spectacular. I do feel the beds were a little firm and the pillows flat, but they gave us extras so that helped. The tvs are a little small, but I'm from the US so maybe it's just practice here. The staff was friendly and helpful, it's close to everything I wanted to do. My only real complaint would be that the elevators are extremely slow. Other than that it's well worth the price and a relaxing hotel to stay at.

Great location. Overall nice place. Older but clean and convenient. Small pool and very small "gym" but always a nice place to stay.

Room was nice and updated, with the exception of the old TV in the bedroom. Staff is friendly. Downtown location if close to a lot of stuff.

The rooms are nice and pleasent, however they lack small things like mini moisturizer bottles and the shower space is a bit small. Other than that the veiw is good and being so close to downtown is nice.

Everything is very clean and well taken care of. The central area of the room is very dark (no natural light), but the view of the city from the rooms is very cute.

A total disaster. I booked with my husband's card but the charge came out on my card and they refused to fix it. Bizarre set up for the pool where you actually have to walk through the lobby — — hello, everybody! — — to get to it and once there, the location of pool towels was a total mystery. Maybe there were no towels? No soap in the shower. Ghetto sauna. The gym located by a set of stairs, no doors, just treadmills and stationary bikes. Anyway, this is the second time in my life complaining about this kind of s**t but I've had a very pressing urge to write a review about a service so here you go.

Great location! The Rosedale on Robson is a lovely suite hotel right in the heart of things in Vancouver. I would give it a 3 1/2 Star but Google only allows 3, too low or 4, a little high. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is quite dated but very clean and well maintained. The efficiency kitchen in suite are so cool — one would think they are going for a retro look but these are original and in amazing condition.

It's a three star independent hotel with personality that gives its all. I've stayed a few times over the years with various service levels but always offers value, friendliness and convenience. The pool, free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast is a plus for us. Steps from BC Place. UntiI I win the lottery, I'll be staying here on family / football buddy trips to Vancouver.

Stayed here last week on a family vacation. The staff was kind, but there was only one person checking in guests at 5:00 in the afternoon when over 6 parties were waiting. The Wi-Fi didn't work, there wasn't daily housekeeping, and the room was a bit disappointing. The location of the hotel is good, within walking distance to a lot. However, I would not recommend and will not be back.

Great location. Good housekeeping. Appliances etc fairly dated. LCD in living room but CRT in bedroom, no kidding. Kitchen and bathroom feel pretty cheap, but working apart from some slow drains. Super stingy about internet: 'free Wi-Fi' included with your room means one device only, pay $5/day per additional device. Sigh.

The room is perfect bathroom all the product you need quality image TV not good but not a big deal the AC is number one kitchen the best in a hotel I have. The bead it is a real bed at 1100 $ not a cheap at 200 $ room are very very clean staff at the front desk are lost but that ok I have find one hair in the sheet that all I have to say. Given a 5 start try the mexicain restaurant other side of the street good size portion and fresh 20 $.

Hats off to the staff at Rosedale on Robson! This hotel has an exceptional, kind and caring staff who provided us with wonderful service while we stayed there for two separate occasions this year. Families are welcome and the location is perfect for Tim Horton runs, going to the Vancouver library for story time or to park on Seymour. For adults it is an easy walk to Robson for shopping, IGA for groceries, restaurants of of any type, Cranberries Spa for your nails, and a place called Blow if you need your hair styled! There is a toybox in the lobby of this hotel that our kids LOVED! The pool is great for the kids and there is an option to have complimentary breakfast! The rooms are clean and the cleaning staff are very accommodating and friendly. A/C wasn't an issue like another post mentioned — you can open the windows and our A/C did work. Thank you for the hospitality and service. This is a winner! We look forward to coming back.
