Rooms were alright, the bathroom was a little subpar. It lacked shampoo and conditioner. The walls were also paper thin so you hear everything Ur neighbours are doing and if they use water it's loud. Overall moderate place.

Really expensive. Dirty and old. Can't turn on all the lights (5) at the same time or the power goes out. Super slow internet keep going out. No shampoo. Do not recommend to anyone.

Why did I like this hotel? Easy; it was clean, and was a blast from the past. The front desk lady was nice, it's within walking distance of several restaurants, and as always, being in the mountains supplies lovely views all around. Sure, the room was outdated and the bathroom could have used a little work, but I would 10/10 stay here again. It's more about the experience in a place like this anyways.

This was a perfect spot. Good rates, good service, clean, comfy, cheap, friendly, and QUIET. I forgot a CD there, they called to let me know. Then sent it to me in BC at no cost to me. It doesn't get better than that,,

Clean cheap and convenient no complaints about this hotel if you need a place to crash.

Good price, comfy beds. Slightly outdated with the bath sealant peeling and a little grubby. Unfortunately the sauna and hot tub closes for the summer in April.

Very nice rooms, clean and smells good. The office was closed when I arrived but one phone call and they saved me a night in the car. Lovely service in a cute town with a lot of amenities.

Good place to sleep! Get outside & enjoy yourself in the mountains then sleep for a decent price.

They were so nice and accommodating here. Refunded our reso after getting caught behind an avalanche and when we arrived the next night, gave us a discount coupon to use at a restaurant in town. The room had a very nice, comfy comforter on the bed. Small but clean. Wi-Fi spotty so download your movie before you come. Awesome for the price. If u want brand new, you can pay double at a chain hotel.

Stayed here in October, friendly desk staff, easily accommodating, what more can I say, next time I go through here, this one is definitely on the list for possibilities.

A nice budget motel friendly staff, walking distance to the pubs in town, I would consider this a Hidden Gem if you're trying to save a buck.

Hey, this place doesn't look like much from the outside but the beds are super comfy, they have a kitchen and it's pretty quiet. Also close to all the restaurants and pubs in Golden. Definitely a great deal for the price! PS stay in town rather than on the hill — way more fun.

It's exactly what you're expecting in a ski motel. Cheap and cheerful. Seemed fairly clean. Rooms are large. Bed was decently comfortable. No shampoo.

A bit old and due for a renovation. However, it was extremely cheap and had a kitchenette. The staff were very friendly and even did our dishes without us asking! If you go with the expectation of staying in an old motel, you won't be disappointed.

The room felt old. I dislike seeing stains on the carpet. The Wi-Fi in the room was not functioning at all, had to go near the office in order to complete my research. No free breakfast. Restaurants within walking distance. I would not stay at that motel again.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here while getting stuck hitchhiking in the rain. The rooms were kinda musty, smell kinda like a thrift store or an old basement lol. Was not sure also if shampoo is supposed to be provided, but it wasnt. Everything was v clean inside the actual room though, there was a microwave and electric kettle as well. And reception was ok though the motel office was really hot! this place was the cheapest off trivago and I think it was a nice spot!

Average North American motel located in a beautiful town. My room smelled of sweat and the A/C was too small for the room.

Don't stay here. You would be wiser to keep driving. No smoke alarm was the first clue. Really… old dated and they charge $100/night times 43 units. $4300 a day and they haven't put anything in to the motel for 40 years, really. Simply move on.

Great location, staff, and price but super hot in the summer and a bit worn looking.

The motel is older (dated decor, hard beds) but clean. It's not very handicapped accessible but the staff is pretty nice so I'm sure they'd be more than happy to do what they can to assist.

Really convenient near Lake Louise. Prices are good and the staff is really nice. We enjoyed our stay and slept really well!

We decided on the kitchenette room in order to keep our costs down while exploring the rockies and we were glad that we did! These rooms are very basic but they are clean and comfortable. The bathroom was even cleaner than the Days Inn we stayed in (for $30 more) the week before. I will recommend this motel to anyone for its value. Yes, the decor is dated, but for a short day, who cares. There is also Wi-Fi here as well, and despite it being slow, it is definitely usable to check emails and browse the web (Im posting while using it right now). I normally do not rate places that we stay but I feel as though some of the reviews we read before coming here were not true to our experience. I hope others will stay here as I feel its a really good value. This motel met our basic needs of comfortable, affordable and clean — — and that's what we got. Thank you.

Old but well maintenance motel. Room was clean, nice people, very quiet place.

We stayed here for one night in early July 2013. The service was personal and friendly; the guy at the counter knew my first name from the reservation after I only mentioned my last name, and gave good recommendations for dinner nearby. The room was clean and comfortable; good value for the money.
