The downstairs suites are noisy either because of the noise of running water or people walking overhead on the upper floor.
The heating/air conditioning did not seem to work properly. However, it is probably the best of the bunch in this price bracket in Waterton.

Worst hotel ever. Do not recommend. We booked a hotel room through Expedia and upon arrival were informed that they oversold their hotel and had no room for us. Given it is the long weekend, all of Waterton was sold out, so we had no choice but to break the news to our 4 kids and drive all the way home. No apology, no offer of compensation. I do not recommend at all.

Friendly / accommodating staff, great location and nice room. The bathroom layout left a little to be desired, but other than that everything was fantastic. Will definitely be back in the near future!

Made reservation online, fast and easy check in. Hard to manoeuvre from front of hotel to back of hotel as they have added the restaurant. Our room was at the back — romantic suite. Nice flowers and cute little courtyard with water feature. Room was clean and cool. Bathroom seems updated with nice two person tub. Great location with easy walking access to town. Had an issue with toilet handle and front desk came immediately and fixed. Great find in Waterton!

Very disappointed! Booked the Romantic Suite after being told the rooms had all been nicely updated. This wasn't updated at all and the room was terribly overpriced based on it's condition. The rear bldg. Appears newer, but the front bldg (where we were) had a jetted tub with red mold around the jets, and as the tub filled bubbles grew to 6-10" thick! It clearly hadn't been cleaned. The sink in the entry area had an older large dark crack the full width and big chips were missing from porcelain in the bowl. Screen door was bent and left a large gap at the top allowing mosquitoes in and bite throughout the night. Desk clerk said "Sorry, I'll tell the manager", but offered nothing more. While in a local spa one of the owners was there and offered us free breakfast at their restaurant and said he would get back to me, but its been 10 days and no response. We moved to another hotel and had a much better experience. Waterton is a great place, our room here was not.

When I stayed here, I had a great experience, friendly front desk, comfy beds, and the room didn’t get to hot at night. Great place to hang out and crush out some editing after a long day of shooting.

Not what we expected from the pictures online, overpriced, and the TV wasn't even in the room with the bed. Everything including the AC worked well and it was within walking distance of everything in town. Staff was also helpful and friendly.

Very nice here. Only bad thing is the bathroom isnt completely blocked from the rest of the room so you can hear and smell whats going on in there even if the fan is running. Seeing the deer all over is nice. Will be back.

My husband and I spent a weekend in May here recently and loved it. The room was updated and very clean. The room was a deluxe suite very well laid out. It was quiet and restful. We were walking distance to everything: restaurants, the lake, shops, hikes and only a few minutes to where we launched our canoe. The staff was warm and welcoming. We will definitely be staying here again soon.

Great service. Room was in need of some repairs. The phone was in very bad shape. Room was clean and food was delicious.

Had dinner at the Red Rock Cafe — absolutely delicious, very friendly staff.

OMG OMG OMG! Delicious! I only had the entré (bison lasagna) and had to be rolled out. Delicious AND filling. Prices fit quality.

Ordered the Glacier Prime Rib Burger with fries well done and received a tasteless burger (no seasoning applied before cooking) and the fries were soggy. Even the onion rings put on the burger to make it a tall show piece were soggy. They tried to re-do the fries and I asked them to make a burger with some seasoning and I received the same cold burger (not a fresh burger) and they re-used the old onion rings without re-making them. Let's face it — If you can't make a good burger, you shouldn't be in business. The server was great up to this point, though he should check the kitchen's food to make sure it matched what was ordered. He didn't. Ruined a perfectly good day.

Popped in here for coffee and hot chocolate for the kids. Very friendly and helpful bar staff in the lovely little bistro. One of the few places we found open in waterton.

Nice loft room. Clean well maintained.

The newly renovated lobby and dining room are very warm and cozy. Nice to sit by the stone fireplace and enjoy the good food.

Make a trip to Waterton Glacier Suites (WGS) … and be sure to checkout Waterton Park as well! The Glacier Suites just built a beautiful addition that is home to a chic check-in area and a licensed cosy/intimate restaurant that opened October 2017 (Red Rock). The food is AMAZING and the portions are HEARTY. They are open at select hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The prime-rib-burger is a standout feature item that won't leave you disappointed. It sits about a foot-high and consists of a perfectly seasoned burger, incredible onion rings, a lightly grilled bun and fresh condiments. A recommended lighter option is pairing the goat cheese flatbread with a bottle of Anciano. Mmm Whether you are traveling as a couple, in a group, or alone, the staff are incredibly skilled at making you feel comfortable so you can enjoy your stay. The suites are spacious yet cosy (separate livingroom and bedroom). A fireplace in each area, airconditioner, pedestal fan, a tub jacuzzi, a small balcony and mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Waterton is a national park; more similar to Jasper than it is to Banff. Chain retailers, restaurants and hotels don't exist, and commercial development is tightly controlled to maintain the very thing you've come to experience, NATURE. The summer of 2017 fire altered the look to parts of Waterton Park, but the townsite and the abundance of deer roaming around remain the same! SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES AND OUR NATIONAL PARKS.

Nice hotel and contemporary restaurant. Stayed in the loft room and enjoyed our stay.

Great service, nice atmosphere and glad to have a winter spot to eat in park. Could up their kid-aware/friendly game a bit, but it's early days and I'm confident they'll get there. Thanks for doing all the cooking this thanksgiving!

Big room, nice little patio and a living area. No breakfast. One of the few places with air conditioning, although the air conditioning is a bit noisy. Centrally located very close to the restaurants and shops in town, so no need to drive once checked in. Lobby area is under construction for a restaurant.

I was just going for a walk through waterton, noticed this place, looks really nice with great views.

STAY AWAY! I'm writing the review in the room right now after having to take a cold shower. There was NO HOT WATER in the shower because the faucet was broken long ago apparently. Considering the room is more than 400 CAD per night, I can not give anything more than one star. Even the camping ground has hot showers. The front desk did nothing after I complained, and suggested it was normal. Again stay away!

Around the hotel, there are constructions everywhere, even right in front of our room. I would have expected some apology or redemption, but the receptionist has not even mentioned about this. Apart from this, the rooms are fine.

The room was alright. Cleaning service seemed non-existent until they appeared in the afternoon after we had gotten back, which was inconvenient. There isn't much of a view from the window but Waterton itself is nice. We didn't need a hotel beyond sleeping, so it worked out well for us.

Overall good. The Murphy wall bed is slightly slanted and uncomfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and inviting. This was my first time staying in waterton and I'll definitely be booking back into this hotel for my next visit.

Great place to stay. Clean, roomy just need to bring food in the winter as the town is pretty much shut down. The microwave and fridge very handy. Friendly staff.

Visited with my family during our Waterton trip. The place was awesome! Their suites are nice, clean, well finished have cute interiors. I specially loved the fire place. When we had a problem with our microwave, they responded in minutes. The front desk manager and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Truly a memorable experience! Going to stay here every time I come to Waterton.

This hotel is absolutely magnificent! I can't believe I have lived in Alberta my whole life and have never been here. It truly is a castle in the mountains. We came for a romantic weekend getaway from Calgary and decided to opt for a Romantic Suite. Fabulous! The view was great. The service is impeccable as well. We really enjoyed our stay. Great hotel in a wonderful area of Waterton. Amazing experience overall.

After reading all the ratings for this hotel I must say I am quite disappointed. The service and quality is poor. If you rated this with more than 3 stars I must say you must have never stayed at an actual 4 star worthy hotel. There were stains on "clean" sheets, anonymous hair on pillows, and odd smells. The washroom was horribly designed with shower curtains that do not fit. The person working at the front desk has no idea of what is happening. Have fun in Waterton and hopefully you make a better choice than I did in staying at this hotel.
