It was a very friendly, clean & quiet place to stay.

Dog friendly. Staff was friendly and did daily check ins with me to see if I needed anything. I really like the room, having a kitchen is great for longer stays for work. A step up from similar priced accommodations. Wish I could have enjoyed the pool but covid.

Our team had a tournament there this weekend and family stayed Fri/Sat. We've stayed in alot of hotels, I loved this place. The rooms are extremely spacious and very clean. I appreciated the full sized fridge, dedicated kitchen area and spacious bathrooms. Our family of 4 definitely felt we had 'room to breathe" during our stay. Will stay again the next time we are in the city.

Clean and well managed. Our 2 bedroom suite was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. We were only missing dish soap when we started our visit but the desk was able to provide that on request. Could have done with a large dish towel. Beds, including the pull out, were also comfortable. Netflix available on the TVs; pool warm and fun for the kids.

Great hotel. 2nd stay here in the past year. The room was very clean, beds really comfortable, and the kitchenette was stocked with most of the things we needed. The staff were really great. The only suggestion is to fix the sheets, they don't stay on the bed.

Great staff with more than reasonable prices. The complimentary buffet is sub par at best but the rooms are amazing, clean, quiet and great for families.

I have been on the road for five weeks, most of the time staying in Marriott properties from Ohio to California, Oregon & Washington State. Most properties were excellent, as I always expect with Marriott.
This is my first stay at a Canadian Marriott property in many years. I am pleased to say that the TownePlace Suites Edmonton South ranks in the top three on this trip.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the room is perfect, clean, quiet and well appointed. As others have mentioned, the location is close to transportation, decent dining and tax-free shopping.
I'm really going to hate to leave when my four-day stay is over.

For a new hotel there were a few things lacking. Housekeeping didn't come to our suite at all one day so we had to request towels and toilet paper. The next day they replaced the towels, made the beds but left the bags of garbage by the door. There were irregular quantities of everything in the kitchen: 6 plates, 4 cups, 1 bowl, so we had to share between rooms. Our suite was supposed to sleep 4 but there was only 1 pillow for the pull out and no extra linen. The gym was nice. The pool and hot tub were good. The breakfast was very good. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Another bad experience. We will never go back. Room wasn’t ready said pillows needed to be fluffed and garbage emptied found it was on the first floor to the right from the front desk. Saw the cleaner using a cheap bagless vacuum also. Really what if we had allergies. This was suppose to be our room from an earlier bad experience. So they moved us to a different room. When you go in and find hair on the toilet seat and room dirty. I took pictures and showed the front desk cl…erk. Said we could give you a free night. Why would I take that when at first this was my second bad experience with them with almost the same thing happening. I will never go back.

I came to stay for a company training function. By the end of my week stay this place felt more like home. The rooms have a great balance of amenities and the use of space in the rooms. The furnishings were well done and the rooms were well appointed for their rating. The other facilities were functional although simple. Nonetheless they served their intended functions well enough. What was particularly outstanding was the service provided by the staff. They were all willing to be flexible and accommodating. They were quick to suggest options for various activities around the area. My room was always cleaned promptly and very thoroughly. Looking forward to my next stay.

Nice and pretty new hotel in a decent location not too far to the Edmonton international airport… The hotel have workout area with a swimming pool on the first floor. The meeting rooms are pretty decent and nice. They have complimentary breakfast with hot meal and fruits… The only downside is that it is close to the highway and the noise could be pretty much at times…

Super friendly staff. Beautiful room with kitchenette. Huge pool and hot tub. Free hot and cold breakfast. Quiet room with blackout blinds. Very reasonable price. Not a bad thing I can say about this place.

Nice hotel. I stayed in March 2018 and had a workplace meeting here as well. Service from the staff was very friendly. The room was great — clean and new. The meeting room was also perfect for our needs. A small pool, hot tub and workout room are present on the first floor. Breakfast is complementary with some hot food items as well as fruit, cereal ect.

Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. New interior and very cozy lighting. Hot and fresh breakfast buffet was awesome! Had fun in the pool and hot jet pool. Accommodating and friendly staff. We'll definitely come back here when we visit Edmonton again.

Really nice place with comfortable living space in the rooms. The staff were all friendly and parking was adequate, can host large vehicles. Laundry services and a nice pool area are located on site, hot breakfast had decent options for both healthy and traditional.

Nice place. Sufficient luxury. Quiet. Breakfast: OK. I don't like eggs that look manufactured and the bacon was sitting on bread to keep from marinating in its own fat. Oranges and apples were fine. Oatmeal great! Good coffee!

Rooms were very clean and tidy. Kitchenette was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals but cook top was a bit confusing to use. Nice sized pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good and included the typical waffles, eggs, bacon etc. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location is close to shopping and dining.

When I checked in, the room wasn't as described in the website. I spoke with the desk attendant and was able to upgrade to a larger suite with no issue. The rooms are nice, the pool is warm, and the breakfast is amazing! There are also parking spots with plugs, so you can plug your car in if it is cold outside. The location is very convenient for the south side of the city and the highway traffic did not bother me at all, as my room faced the highway. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are very quiet. All in all I would have no hesitation to return as a guest!

Convenient location, however rooms facing the highway can hear noisy vehicles. Suites are nice with plenty of amenities, such a full fridge, two burner stove top, and large closet with organizer. Bathroom needs more counter space. The included breakfast is the standard breakfast as all other hotels in this price range. Eggs from a box, thin bacon, make your own waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, etc. Compared to the other similar hotels, it was better priced for almost the same experience… But that could be because the hotel is new, and they want people coming through the door.

The best value in Edmonton! I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The rooms are much nicer then one would expect of a budget hotel, the people are friendly, helpful and beyond what you find in many luxury hotels. With breakfast included the value is incredible. If you need an inexpensive place to get a good nights sleep this is it. Something about the Marriott label, they ensure their people make you feel welcome. This hotel is no exception.

Nice new hotel. Swimming pool, hot tub. Continental breakfast included. Rented a kitchenette with two rooms. Rooms were clean, staff was pleasant. A nice place to stay.

The tech in one of the meeting rooms did not work great (projector flickered on and off). But the staff called the tech support and it was fixed quickly!

Rooms are spacious. Very clean. Kitchen well stocker with dishes and utensils. 4 burner stove. Oven. Fridge and even a dishwasher! Very quiet Nice pool with hot tub. Close to shopping. Staff helpful and very friendly. Reasonably close to airport. 20 minutes from West Ed Mall and downtown. Well stay here again.

The rooms were not large, but they had everything we needed. Fridge, built in hot plate, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, pots and pans, all cutlery, and all the basic for making simple or more complex meals. There is even a BBQ out front you can use. Place is new and clean. Pool and hot tub are a nice size. Hot breakfast included has a good variety of foods, from 3 choices of eggs, bacon, 2 kinds of sausage, portage, cold cereal and much more. I was very impressed and would recommend.

Excellent staff love the rooms, easy to get to, and breakfast is really good. I would recommend this place to anyone. Pool is nice and clean. The hotel is located close to stores and restaurants. I will be returning for sure in the future.

Very nice and clean hotel. Our room was super clean. It has a very comfy bed and complete with a fancy dining table and kitchen stuff. (plates, cups, glasses, utensils, toaster, pots and pans). Excellent Customer Service of Jacky from front desk. She is very helpful and kind to everybody. The complimentary breakfast is super good. They have everything you're looking for to eat and their staff was very nice too. Over all, we got a very relaxing weekend. Thank You Jacky and Townplace for an amazing experience. We will be back again and again and I will surely recommend this hotel to everyone I know. Date of check in: Sept. 30, 2017 to Oct. 1, 2017 under Mary Valencia.

Very nice rooms equipped with a full kitchen! Pool was great and overall the hotel's interior is quite nice. Only complaint is that the window appeared to have paint on or some other substance splashed on it from the outside.

I really enjoyed my steady at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the room was quite comfortable and modern. Marriott beds are the best too. I would stay in the hotel again.

Very nice new hotel conveniently located in the south end of Edmonton. Close to the airport and South Edmonton Common. Just off Anthony Henday Drive. Very very friendly staff that were always asking if everything was good with the stay. Free hot breakfast for guests. Full kitchen in each room. Outdoor BBQ's and sitting area. Pool, Hot Tub, and Fitness Room. Will stay at this hotel again.

The place is good. Room is clean and comfortable. Toilet is spotless. The staff is courteous too. Really a fine place to stay and the price is affordable too. Will definitely recommend to my friends.

Hotel and staff are super nice, our room was well-appointed but small, especially when the hide-a-bed was pulled out (effectively touched the other bed and cut off the room). Breakfast was very disorganized and even with modest attendance was falling behind and running out of food faster than it was being replenished, oatmeal was watery soup, no waffles/pancakes, and napkins were wedged beside the conveyor toaster and getting very warm. Pool was nice, good temperature, and fun to play in, although I wish the privacy frosting was extended a little further as there were many people standing at the window rudely staring at us while my family was in the water.

A bigger than normal hotel room. With a kitchen. Tasty breakfast included. Super location. Family friendly. All at a good price. What's not to love?

Awesome staff! I don't think we have ever had such friendly and accomodating staff at any hotel. We stayed here 3 days, and they were always wanting to help and do things for us. 6 stars out of 5 from us.

My second time here, both times found hair on my sheets and pillows. Will not stay again. I'm a platinum member expect more from a Marriott property?

Extremely friendly staff. Some of the nicest rooms I've seen, with plenty of amenities. 10/10 would recommend.
