Amazing staff, always so helpful and smiling all the time. Home away from home. Pool, hot tub, gym and an arcade room. They also have free laundry for guests and a borrow cupboard. Blu-ray players, slow cookers, board games. Amazing hotel.

The suites are spacious and clean. Underground parking is nice. Kitchen in the suites have everything u need. It was nice to have a separate bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room for our 3rd person.

Highly recommend! We booked last minute and did not regret it! Lots of amenities. Super clean place/room and spacious rooms with kitchenette. Room was well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff! We will definitely be back!

Stayed one night on the forth floor in a suite with a kingsize bed. Very clean room. Comfortable and new. Would definitely stay again. Didn't get a chance to use any services.

The location was fairly convenient although a bit confusing on how to get in from the street. Our room was very nice and modern. Although it was a bit noisy at night with appliance sounds and people talking outside. But I really liked the kitchenette and cupboard with board games etc. Which were nice touches.

Nice facilities. The room has a kitchenette so you can cook your breakfast or if you don’t feel like it you can go next door (Holiday Inn) and have a $5 breakfast. It has a free laundry room, game room and lending locker where you can borrow a blender, board games and such. We’ve stayed at different places in Edmonton and the Candlewood Suites are the best in my opinion.

Awesome staff. This hotel provides great amenities such as free laundry facilities and grills. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets can also be purchased at the front desk. The room was immaculate and pet friendly! If I’m ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here!

I really enjoyed it! We have a baby so kitchenette was a must. Didn't disappoint! Nice big fridge in our room with stove and all. Bed was comfy. Snack bar was awesome to have 24hours. Pool was shared with other hotel so it was a bit busy but still nice. We will probably stay again!

We love this place! We've stayed here a few times now and everytime they work at making it a great stay. The underground parking was a blessing during those — 40 Celcius nights this winter. They also have that lending cupboard were we can borrow games or items to cook with. The fact the room is equipped with a proper kitchen is absolutely wonderful. The walk in shower is a god sent when you are disabled as well. We'll be back when the budget allows!

Confusing time checking in had to call my bank to prove to front desk that the deposit had been withdrawn from my account upon check in as it seemed I would be charged again. Time consuming when we came here to shop. Itinerary said queen beds but we ended up with double beds. Couldn't cancel as I booked through Expedia and would have been charged anyways. Was also too late to cancel tonight's stay for the same reason. Our room is on the main floor right by the elevator which was very loud couldnt sleep in. Was also loud tonight from upstairs. Next door to a dog had no idea it was pet friendly, my bad. Woke me up as I finally fell asleep. A /c wasn't working properly had to keep getting up to turn it on tonight. Had no problems with it last night. Surprised the pool was so small but kids still enjoyed it, breakfast was alright. Nice rooms n bathroom though glad my kids got to stay at a nice place. Hope I didn't pay extra for the kitchenette as I didn't request it…

Our Favorite place to stay, its our home away from home wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Indoor pool, basement parking, complimentry coffee, free laundry and the room is soo comfy!

This place was SO comfortable, quiet, and well appointed; I can't wait to go back. The value is fantastic, especially if you are staying in the city several nights or longer. It's homey but polished and all the amenities shared with the sister hotel are top quality.

I really enjoyed my stay at Candlewood. I was an extended stay off and on for two and a half months. The hotel was clean, accommodating, and had great guest service. The front desk was especially friendly and made me feel at home during my long stay.

Very nice Hotel. We stayed in 217, large room. Hats off to the cleaning staff, excellent job. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended Hotel.

Very new facility. The staff was very polite and attentive, though I got the impression that the hotel was fairly empty, which probably allowed them to lavish attention on is. Price was reasonable. There is a 'loaner' room, in case you need to borrow a toaster or blender or the like. There is an 'honour' mini convenience store, which is quite convenient indeed! Room was clean and contemporary. Decent selection of channels on TV. Pillows just the right hardness. Spacious. Shares a pool with the Holiday Inn Express next door. No free breakfast though. Definitely will return.

We stayed on a room on the fourth floor it was huge! New, and modern. Great bedding and pillows. It had a stocked kitchenette with an apartment size fridge. The staff were friendly and they accommodated our pet. Zero complaints. Great place.

Its a new hotel so everything is in very nice and clean condition. The bed is very comfortable.

I stayed at Candlewood West Edmonton for several weeks and it was a totally enjoyable experience. Staff were great, welcoming, engaging, quick to help and prompt in responding to concerns. They went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable. Inder and her colleagues were wonderful! The suite itself was as advertised, home away from home. It was very comfortable. I was particularly pleased with the kitchen — well equipped — I didn't have to buy a single utensil, kitchen towel etc. I never lacked for fresh towels. The gym was spacious and more than adequate. To top it up, there was free laundry (smile). I definitely recommend Candlewood suites.

The hotel and rooms are super nice but the parking is exceptionally bad, breakfast is ok, and it would be really nice if there was disinfectant to wipe down the gym equipment after you were finished.

It was like I felt at home (their was a bedroom to but friends were laying there XD) they had pots, pans, forks, and basicly anything you would have at home but theres no food:c XD.

The hotel is located near a Walmart and other strip malls. There are also a number of restaurants in the area. Unfortunately the hotel is located on a busy one way street, so it can be tricky to get in and out The hotel itself is new, and very clean. The rooms were spacious, but not as large as some suites I've stayed in. The TV was large and positioned well. The bed was very comfortable and the climate control worked great. Overall the room was awesome. I have two bad impressions of the hotel that brought down my rating. First is the front desk staff. They always seem preoccupied. When asked where a corner store was, we were given vague directions to a store that was closed for construction. In another instant, a employee was clearly talking to family member in Punjabi and was unable to get off the phone to answer a question. We left the lobby and came back 5 minutes later to the employee still being on the phone. The internet in the hotel was also lacking. I often had to turn Wi-Fi off on my phone to get a basic webpage to load. When getting updates on my laptop it was painfully slow capping at 400kb/s a second. I've never had a hotel with this slow of internet and I travel a lot. When I attempted to call the front desk on 3 different occasions to see if there was something that could be fixed, the phone was never answered. The short and the sweet. Rooms are great, clean and comfy. *****Manager personally called me an hour after my review to correct any problems.

The suite was nicely finished, bed were comfortable. Check in was extremely slow and the entrance to the hotel was hard to find as there is lots of construction around. We didn't have a chance to check out any of the amenities.

We stayed here for a quick trip to the city. The rooms were very nice, spacious, clean, and quiet. I was extremely pleased with the service provided by the knowledgeable staff. I would recommend this hotel to all of my family and friends.

Excellent place to stay specially if you are on the road for a while. They have laundry machines where you can get your iwn laundry done. Use of the machines are free just need to buy the detergent.

Great stay in new Hotel. Pleasantly surprised by the large rooms. Very clean and the friendly staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family. Will definitely make this our go to Hotel when in Edmonton.

This is a brand new hotel that has only been open a few weeks. The Jamaican girl at the front desk was fantastic as were most of the staff. Tamika? got me milk out of the breakfast area at night for our toddler. I had thought I had booked a 2 bedroom suite, but this hotel doesn't have them. That's the only downside to this hotel. The breakfast was standard for the Holiday inns other than they don't have the waffle maker. All the rooms are new and clean and the price is fair.

We stayed here Dec 27-29 with our team for a tournament. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a minor issue with the bookings, but they were quick to fix it. They were very accommodating when our team wanted to do a team dinner. The hotel is very clean and new. I would highly recommend this hotel for team travel. The closeness to the mall was great as well.
