This is my 8th visit since 2010, and I am never disappointed. Thoughtful staff, comfortable rooms, and delicious food! This is my first Christmas away from home (to visit my son), and was so pleasantly surprised. Firstly, my room was upgraded at no cost to me which was great. Once I get to my room — a personalized note with pretzels and cheese. So sweet. Then on Christmas Eve we were surprised to find a stocking on my door filled with munchies and a Christmas card. This is one Christmas I won’t forget. Not only did I get to visit my son, but Delta made it so much fun and welcoming. Thank you so much to all the staff.

I showed up and asked to use the washroom upon check in. I gave the lady at the front desk my drivers license and credit card, while my wife stayed to square things away and was told to go up the elevator to floor 3 (across from the cocoas restaurant) to use the washroom. I went to the lady at the cocoas restaurant and asked politely to have the doors opened to the washroom. She replied with, “the washrooms are for hotel guests only” and because I didn’t have a room number ye…t, I was told that I couldn’t use the washroom (after a 5 hour drive from GP). As an alternative I was told to go to the bay instead… What an unpleasant way to start my stay here. Even the front desk attendant was confused by why the lady upstairs wouldn’t allow me to use the washroom? That kind of treatment for someone who says they’re a hotel guest here and is spending money for this accommodation should have the access to the only washrooms available when not in your own room. For the lady at cocoas, she could have simply called down to the front desk for confirmation. Instead she sat (hidden) behind a black booth telling me that I couldn’t access the washrooms. It’s very unlikely that I will stay here again based on one occurrence that could have been easily avoided.

Been done up. Service was great. New rooms are fantastic. Stayed on 6th floor and it was brilliant. Parking is not ideal but close enough.

The hotel is really clean! Friendly service, speedy check-in. Kiera at the front desk recommended an upgrade and the breakfast that came with the upgrade at Coco’s was large and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside is no pool and the room didn’t have a bathtub. But I would recommend this hotel anyway.

Everything was fine. Nice and friendly staff, room was very spacious, breakfast was good. Parking was easy in the structure next to the hotel. The whole area of the city is a construction zone at the moment so it’s not always a pretty view. The hotel is attached to a mall so you can do some shopping, but shops close early Monday to Wednesday.

Very comfortable stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Location is great. Bed was super comfortable! The hotel has undergone recent remodeling lending to a refreshed feel. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location! Easy access to lots of amenities and activities. Mostly in walking distance. Rooms are being renovated and the results are quite nice. Very friendly staff. This hotel is a sound choice if you need to be downtown.

The hotel is under construction in a major way. So a fair bit of inconvenience to check in.
Also I was not informed about parking when I booked, nor was I informed the hotel was under renovation when I booked. The hotel itself, even with recent updates, is showing its age.
The room was clean but I was put in a wheelchair accessible room which had no place to sit other than the desk chair. Very uncomfortable to watch TV.
The complimentary water was there, but I was never told it was complimentary and besides, it was presidents choice water. The cheapest water you can buy.
As I said earlier, the hotel is showing her age. Pipes rattle in the wall when some other room turns off their water, and when the ventilation kicked in it rattles like a rusty hamster wheel. Did not make for. Good sleep.
Over all, at this point in time it is not the Delta experience I have come to expect.
Oh did I mention you have to pay for your own parking. The check in staff offered to sell me a day pass forward $32 a day. The same parkade charged me $19 for my stay.
I understand that being in downtown Edmonton, parking is not easy, but when your hotel is charging the extra price for a downtown location it really should come with complimentary parking.

Everyone that worked there was very friendly, the man who brought up room service was quick and nice and overall a great experience. The rooms were also very pleasant as well!

Located in the heart of downtown! Great place to stay as it is so close to many amazing eateries and cafes in downtown. Easy access to the LRT as well.

Even though the hotel was undergoing some work, the disruptions did not affect me. Great rooms with comfortable beds and massive television. Staff was very courteous and efficient.

I stayed 2 nights here. Room is been upgraded and clean but don’t have free continental breakfast. Just to note I rated this hotel 2stars because the in house 4404 restaurant changed $3.25 for coffee and $5.00 for side order plus breakfast plate. So my breakfast cost a whopping $28 with a tip.

They really stepped it up for us. Had a weekend getaway for our anniversary. Front desk girls (Kaycee & Jessica) upgraded our room to a suite. Free breakfast for both days at Cocoa's. Had rose petals on our bed. And even delivered a slice of chocolate cake with a handwritten anniversary note. Above and beyond customer service!

Very clean. Good location near Rogers arena. I forgot my charger and they told me they had found it when I called but once I got there, I proceeded to wait 40 minutes only for them to tell me that they don't have it.

First time staying at the Delta. We were in for the Oilers game. Called ahead about parking and found it ok. We were greeted with smiles and they were super friendly. We were ask about am upgrade but was fine with what I booked.
Was told that 2 bottles of complimentary water would be waiting in our room. We found 1 bottle by the bed partly drank and no other bottles in the room. Everything else looked clean and proper so we were fine with that. Drank tap water. We had to turn the heat down as it was so hot but the room never did cool down so the sleep wasn't as good as wanted but was fine.
Our stay was good. We did mentioned to the front desk about the water and temp so they knew. They were very understanding and apologized. No big deal at all. Shit happens. I will stay again. Oh and our breakfast was yummy.

A beautiful hotel. The best surprise is that it is connected to a huge mall. You can literally shop for days! The rooms were clean and updated. Only sad part is there was no pool or hot tub. A tub in the room would have been great but the shower with multiple heads was great!

Bad housekeeping. I stay there last 2 weeks. My cloth was stolen. They taught I will not notice if they steal 5 items/cloths of mine. When I reported, the front desk didnt really help instead trust their housekeeping. Bad service bad housekeepers. Theft.

The hotel is our had been recently renovated. I was given an upgrade to a bigger room and the rooms are looking incredible. We had a wet bar with a pull out couch and 55 inch TV in the living room as well as a king size bed with another big TV in the actual room. Service is great but parking is expensive though Delta unless you are going on and off frequently. Excellent live-action and writing walking distance of the new arena.

Hotel is hard to get to (due to construction on every block around it) parking is very very expensive (yes that’s extra! ) the restaurant had the most expensive breakfast we have ever had (white plate special) and they have removed the hot tub. Not a good experience and will not ever consider this place again!

Rooms were newly renovated, big, clean & modern. It can be a long walk to your room but it is in downtown and attached to the City Center Mall which lets you walk to a ton of places staying indoors. It's a short walk to Rogers Arena. That said, it's attached to the City Center Mall parkade which is confusing (cuz it's old) but well signed and a specific parking area for Delta guests. It's a bit of a maze and unheated but there are staff at the gates and I saw security often. Staff and service were 10/10. Room was 8/10. Minus 2 for the hot room which took all night to cool and the zero humidity… Very dry (even for Alberta winter) in our room. Hotel Location was 10/10. Parking was 4/10. The pictures on their website show the updated rooms. Staff said over the next year the rest of the hotel will be modernized (lobby & restaurant).

We were in Edmonton for a hockey game at Rogers Place and found this hotel online. When we arrived and checked in we received a complimentary room upgrade due to it being my spouses birthday. Everything was so clean and the staff was so friendly. I agree with the other posts that the entrance is difficult to locate as they could use better signage. We parked in the parkade and walked back and forth to the arena so we didnt have to worry about driving in downtown Edmonton. It was perfect!

Great front desk staff. Just completed renovations. Strange design. Long walk to room depends on how far you are from elevator.

Beautiful rooms and close to many amenities. Only complaint was the continental breakfast. Cold and bland. Very overpriced for such shocking quality of food.

Excellent service! Staff were so kind! We asked for wine glasses and a corkscrew to be delivered, they were there within minutes. A very nice clean room and bathroom, we stayed in the king suite. Front desk staff were so incredibly helpful with everything from helping us find a restaurant to guiding me through my first uber experience. The location is great because it's attached to the Edmonton city centre for morning coffees and shopping. Overall — I would definitely stay again. Thanks for the great experience!

Great central location in the ice district. Rooms are fantastic and are newly renovated. Largest TV I have had in a hotel. Staff are all excellent and very thoughtful Thank you for a great Workation stay.

Great service. Had to do an early check in and was upgraded rooms at a reasonable price with only two hours notice. Would stay here again!

Room is absolutely fantastic. Bed is extremely comfortable. We did find our air conditioning to be a bit out of whack. There is construction going on, so some rooms are loud as they start work around 8:30-9. Overall, would stay again.

Check in experience with Kyle was excellent. Room services was fast & food was great. Also loved the room so beautiful & spacious. We will definitely be back!

To current and future Delta Edmonton City Center guests… you have found home away from home. I recently spent the better part of six months staying at this fine Delta hotel and am always impressed with the level of professionalism combined with each member's unique personality that makes one feel welcome. Calan, Kate and Jag lead an exemplary front desk team supported by terrific departments including food service and the maintenance folks. And the renovated rooms are fabulous! If you need something to better your experience you just have to ask! I hope to see my friends at the Delta again soon! Now get on with booking your room and enjoy your Delta Edmonton City Center experience!

I gave 4/5 stars only b/c there was construction and renos going on. The entrance to the hotel is a bit convoluted and hard to see that it IS the actual entrance. This hotel is situated inside the City Center Mall. The Entrance is non descript and a little sketchy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was told to park at the parkade to the East of the hotel after I had checked in (there are 2 parkades-one to the direct West and East of entrance of hotel). There was no signage to indicate where to park outside of the entrance to the Mall/Hotel. I was also told I would not be charged for parking (but I was charged $30 anyways). The upside is that the room we stayed in was one of the newly renovated rooms. The windows look into the Mall which was kind of a downer. Felt a little dark and stuffy. I would think that the hotel would throw in a breakfast voucher at their Cocoa's restaurant in light of the renos and construction going on — but no. The vibe feels a little depressing and down. If it wasn't for the smiles if the staff at the hotel I would've felt really let down by this Marriott. Def not what you would expect from the name-"Delta/Marriott".

Great location a block from the new Rogers place arena. Lots of parking but a little confusing to get into the hotel from the parking garage. Smaller lobby and less amenities than most other delta and Marriott properties but still nicely appointed. Our room was renovated and comfortable. Bed was fantastic! Staff could be better oriented and familiar with Marriott elite levels, had to ask for my member benefits once I arrived at the hotel. Other than that, great night, nice hotel, would recommend and stay again.

The staff was very friendly while checking in and very helpful. I was quite disappointed though, that I had to pay $45 for parking for one night. Also, the was no breakfast of any kind included and I felt this was a fairly pricey room to have nothing included. The room was upgraded and clean so no issues there.

Excellent staff — hats off to people like Meinard and Jag for their total customer service attitude. Hotel itself is decent but below what I consider to be the standard for a Delta. The room I had was quite large — a sitting room/couch/desk/TV and a bedroom separated by a hallway. The shower and water pressure were out of this world fantastic! My room had floor to ceiling glass that allowed me to look out into the City Centre Mall. Note that there is NO executive / concierge lounge like you get at all top end Marriott hotels and every other Delta that I have been to, but that said, Gold and Platinum Elite members get a full breakfast at the restaurant that is attached to the hotel. The gym is OK — a couple of treadmills and elliptical machines as well as a few other weight machines and some free weights. They have a steam room and a small Jacuzzi type tub, but rumor had it that those two were being removed as part of the grander remodeling so that the gym itself could be expanded.

As I sit here in my hotel room, I'm over whelm by the staff and service that we have receive, with the help of house keeping and maintenance we've been able to make our room feel like home, Even with the room upgrade, and the complementary cheese tray. The room do need a little updating but this has made us so relaxed for our New Years weekend. So thank you the all the staff and management. 5 stars for the restaurant and staff.

Helpful staff, great amenities (including well equipped gym facility), close to shopping and rapid transit. Room could have been a bit cleaner, but overall a really great experience.

Went there to resolve booking issues because the person that I spoke with on the phone was no help at all. When I went in they were more than happy to help me in any way possible. All is good now.

Right downtown. Lots of parking. Nice rooms and good facilities for meetings. In the downtown mall so you can walk to shopping any time of year and stay warm and dry.

Aging hotel with friendly service. Lobby is located on the North side of the mall so if entering through the City Centre entrance on 102 Ave just walk straight through to the other side of the mall's center. Building AC appeared to not be on yet in early June so the suite I had was constantly too warm. No airport shuttle available. Walking distance to several business centers and restaurants.

I am am evacuee from the McMurray fires and the Delta has been nothing but supportive and hospitable to us, making sure we want for nothing. I'm extremely grateful for it, as we have nothing at this point.

I have stayed at the hotel for a month and I can honestly say that I was treated like a KING. Service was excellent and whatever I asked for they did everything to accommodate me. The staffs are friendly, courteous and have their customer at hearth. I will recommend this Hotel to all my friends and coworkers. It was my second home away from home.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? A newer TV kept it from being 5 stars. It's the Masters and I wanted to watch in HD.

We stay at the Delta almost every trip into the city. They give us great rates, great service, and very nice rooms. We also like the convenient location.

This was a great place to say. Very friendly staff, even upgraded us to a jacuzzi room. Clean and well kept rooms with comfy beds, I would definitely stay here again.

Central location is basically in the mall. Other side faces parking garages. Staff very friendly and helpful and room nice but hotel definitely not scenic. Thought I read they had a pool, but they don't — just a whirlpool /hot tub.

Very interesting layout for a Hotel. Rooms are nice, large and quiet. Quite the walk to get to your room if your on the back side. Also kinda laughable that they still have old school CRT televisions in the rooms still.

The rooms are nice, but need some modernization. The restaurant it's okay but expensive for what it is. The staff seem nice. My room listen to the Mall which I didn't like.

Booked into a king suite on the 7th floor… had a nice view, room was really large. Totally needs an update… Tiny TV in the living room with a pretty stained up sofa. Tv in the bedroom was an old fashioned one from the 90's. My room had no hot water… lovely. Considering one of the first things you do after travelling is shower… When I told the front desk there was no hot water, it took over an hour for them to send someone to check things out… Still, not hot water. The front desk lady offered to bring me a kettle. Seriously… a kettle. To fill the tub. What the hell? I finally convinced them to switch my room… The new room was bigger, older, but had hot water. Although, the tub was dirty. I won;t be staying here again. $179 a night. Could have had a better experience at a super 8

Old, old, old hotel. Ref got all my grocery frozen. They reimburse one night parking for that. Stuff are nice. parking feels uncomfortable, not chart friendly, have to unload at the front. Too much construction in downtown. Room is good spacious, non see-through windows can make you dance naked in your room.

Not a thing to complain about on our recent stay here. Everything was great including the price.

The service is friendly — however, a friendly face feeding you incorrect information is WORSE. You have to pay for parking. Our room was not made up EVEN ONCE in 2 days so we had to call and ask for new towels. Shower was permanently hot. Upgraded our room and was charged double what we were told. Mysterious Extra charge showed up on credit card. The list goes on. You should avoid this one.

I wish I had something good to say about my stay here. I don't. If you're looking for a place to stay, look elsewhere.

Not the best and not the worst I've stayed in. It probably deserves 2.5 stars but whatever. First lets talk parking. If you have a large truck, you've got to know the exact height or have big cahunas to park in the parkade they use. I fit under the height restriction sign but couldn't fit under the first beam at the start of an incline. So back out I went. Parked in the lot on the other side of the street with ease — just had to pay. Check in was great, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room. Well, the furnishings are ok, could use updating but it's not like I'm living there so who cares, really. There was a long hair in the bathroom sink, and the ice bucket was "clean" with no bags to put inside to keep it sanitary. There was some kind of vibrational noise in the room, which could definitely be bothersome for some people. Overall it was ok, but if my wife had stayed with us, she wouldn't have been ok with this place.

We found this Hotel very guest friendly! The rooms were very nice along with the staff, and price.

First of all the require a $100 deposit a night if you pay with visa or debit. Which I thoight was weird. And I was not told about when I booked the room. So I had to pay with debit. They held my $200 all weekend and then gave it back to me without eveb checking my room! Whats the point of deposit. The room service wasnt very good. Everything tasted like it can from a box wich was disappointing. The room was nice tho. The staff were all nice. And the fact that it was attached to a mall was awesome.

The place is dated and shows signs of its age with thing like marked furniture, water damage on parts of the ceilings, and worn carpets. That said, our stay was very pleasant. While showing those signs of age, everything was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Conveniently attached to the city centre downtown mall that offers a number of amenities and a very short walk to the train station.

Terrible hotel, Terrible staff. They charge extra for cleaning.

I enjoyed my stay at Delta Edmonton Centre Suit Hotel. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Especially one of the guys, James. He was a real big help. And the cleaning staff and restaurant staff were great too. Had the best experience. :).

I have no complains about this hotel. It is just excellent. Very clean, friendly staff. Great location and food was great. I loved it so much, my husband and I had extend our 2 night stay to a three night stay. Recommend this hotel to anyone you will not regret your stay. I will be staying here again in the future.
