Second time I have stayed here while having family in the hospital. Not only were they ok with my mask exempt status, but also helped me out with an early check in as there is not much to do in the city without wearing a mask. They put me right by a door to avoid issues with other guests as well.

Its we kept, very clean the staff here really go out of there way to help you. I recommend to stay here.

Great staycation for our kids to get some pool use! The front desk was friendly and efficient checking us in quickly, the restaurant was quick and clean. Everyone followed AHS guidelines regarding covid and we felt very safe! Definitely recommend if you want a break and a swimming break for your kiddos. We got the pool for an hour to ourselves, reservations are required :)

Arrived after midnight and was greeted by a friendly gentleman, fast check in.

Just checked into the hotel for two nights. This is our go to hotel when our daughter has hospital visits. As usual, the front desk staff went above and beyond to help us! Even searched through the prize box for a very special toy for our daughter. Thanks for always making us feel welcome! With the hospital visits not being enjoyable it is so nice to have such a good time at the hotel.

We stayed there this past sun, mon night. They were very accommodating to us. My hubby was scheduled to see a surgeon so we asked for a early check in and they had us in our room within 5 minutes. The hotel is really clean and also good food in the restaurant. We’ll definitely stay here the next time we are in Edmonton.

It was a great hotel! Super close to the Royal Alexandria Hospital that I had to go to very early in the morning. Loved the fact that there was a Tim Horton's attached to it, it made my super early morning quite a bit easier to deal with! The rooms were quiet and you couldn't hear any of the traffic noise from outside.

Room was small just like the parking lot you might need a can opener to get your car out. Other than that staff was great. Room was clean. Room rate was affordable. If you don't reserve room with best western be prepared to pay a $250 deposit.

I’ve always had a very pleasant experience staying here. We have a business in Kingsway Mall, so i’ve stayed here many times over the past 4 years since the location is perfect being right across the street from the mall. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are very nice and clean.

Excellent place to stay, service is exceptional. Rooms are very clean and updated. Great location, close to amenities. Runway 29 restaurant was also great, food was always delicious and portions were very good. Will be staying here again for sure.

Convenient location for several medical appointments as well as shopping. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good Wi-Fi. Restaurant convenient with excellent service and good food. Staff in hotel exceptional. Already booked for our next stay in Edmonton.

I stay in Best Western Hotels a lot, wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel is a bit dated, jacuzzi sweet was clean but unimpressive with only one tv. Ordered room service which arrived quickly but wasn’t that good and definitely over priced. Final verdict is a fail, not horrible fail but my advice… spend you $$ elsewhere and you will do better.

Stayed here last week. I had my three year old. We had gotten back late one evening and were going to order room service because they only have a lounge. They charge a 15% gratuity for room service so I offered to pick it up and was informed I couldn’t because of a 3 year old. I didn’t want to pay a gratuity if I wasn’t using room service as a convience but a necessity and the worker there was rude and said I had to pay the tip. I then spoke to whoever was on that night at the front desk and he also said I would have to pay just so they could deliver to my room. I ended up ordering skip the dishes and the delivery fee was cheaper than the hotels gratuity would have been. I tipped because I wanted too and not because I had a child. I spoke to the manager the next day and he said if I ordered they would remove the gratuity at checkout but it was a little too late after dealing with a rude evening crew and not wanting to support (or deal with) a restaurant with untrained and unfriendly staff. The rooms were mediocre decor wise with not great beds. The one had a hump in the middle where you constantly felt like you would roll onto the floor. They have a little snack bar off the lobby that was really over priced. The stars I do give them come from great house keeping. Loved coming back to a nice clean room everyday. Seriously phenomenal. Can’t remember my house keepers name but she did a fantastic job and I would love if that was passed on to her.

Decent hotel for the money, but it was a little pricey. The room was nice, if small. Parking lot is strangely laid out so take care driving there. Also, they have a fitness room, but it is quite out of the way. That said, no one was ever there when I used it. The only problem I noticed with it is that their U-gym was a bit bent making some ex's awkward. Keep the dumbells! Not enough places have these.

In town visiting family and found this hotel amazing. Clean, comfortable, wonderful staff. A Tim's in the building and a lovely restaurant on site. Next time we are in Edmonton will definitely stay here again!

Great place to lay your head, the staff were easy to deal with and the food is good. Enjoyed the pub upstairs the pizza was good. The pool for the kids is great especially the slide. The location was great and handy to what I needed. I recommend this place for families with small kids.

I use to stay at the city centre inn all the time. I would even stay there even though the staff at the runway 29 lounge were always very rude to me. I will not stay there anymore due to the fact after I made the complaint in a review, the staff at the front desk started asking for a 500 dollar deposit… weird considering that on the average I give them abuout 5000 dollars worth of business every year? Well not staying there anymore! If they had half star rating I would give it!

My stay was a very good experience. The room was clean and comfortable. So was the pool area. I had a slight technical problem with the TV but staff resolved it very quickly. All the staff were very friendly and quick to offer assistance.

Very nice room. Super fluffy pillows comfy bed. Shower was not very hot but still nice. (I like my showers with lava hot water. )

Close by to the Royal Alexandria hospital. Very friendly and hospitable staff. Timmy's and decent restaurant from the lobby. Lots of kids. Older building with little sound proofing or insulation.

My best friend and I really enjoyed our stay here back in early December after driving in from Calgary during a bit of a blizzard. Jessie at the front desk was so awesome to us. He took all our bags to our room in — 25, brought us ice and even called us a cab. He was really awesome and made our check in and stay extra memorable. He really went above and beyond. Great place. Always clean. Staff is polite and helpful. Close to the downtown and Kings Way mall is across the street.

This was my first time staying here. It was a very nice experience. The location was perfect for the activities we had planned. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely stay at this location again.

I explained this to the front desk — who wouldn't refund my card until they came and sniffed around the room. BW lost my business (corporate traveller) as a result. You should also note that the hotel didn't consider that my room is above an entrance with a smoking area, and my window was left partially open.

The location was our reason for choosing this hotel, the staff are the reason we continue to come back. They are happy to help with anything, very accommodating, and provide a great atmosphere in general. The pool area is kept very warm which is a huge bonus with young kids. It's always very clean and quiet.

Convenient to centre of city. Quiet, well appointed clean room. Main floor room accessible to pool — restaurant. Convenient to Tim Hortons (attached) but did not use. Welcomed — very children friendly.

Great place, decided to do something different for my daughters 12th Birthday! Stayed 1 night … with 7 girls! It was such a great place. Friendly staff and night staff … so very accommodating. Water slide and pool, hot tub was a huge hit open early and until 11pm. The room was very clean! And all the staff made us feel very welcome and asked me frequently if everything was ok and if I needed anything. Morning staff was super friendly as we pasted them in the hallway on the way to the pool for there earlier morning swim. Kingsway across the street for shopping. Only down side is no free breakfast. But with Tim Hortons attached I was very pleased I didn't have to leave the hotel to get there. Parents that picked up their kids thought it was a great idea. Would definitely do this again. Thank you Best Western Plus City Centre Inn! My Daughter and her friends Loved it!

The hotel itself is nice enough but the staff is exceptional! Front desk was very accommodating and kind enough to give us a late checkout which was so helpful to our family. The cleaning and maintenance staff were so friendly. Every one of them said "hello" or "good morning" when we walked by. Will definitely stay here again!

We had two rooms for two nights at this hotel while one of us was having surgery at the Royal Alex hospital. The hotel is very handy to this hospital. While it appears the hotel is probably quite old, it has been totally renovated and renewed. Everything is like new. So many times we see older properties spruced up with a lot of 'masking' but the renovations and upgrades to this hotel are absolutely first class. They have done a excellent job. The food and service at the restaurant upstairs was excellent. There is also a Tim Hortons on the main floor. We would certainly stay at this hotel again and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

We love staying at this hotel. The staff is always wonderful. Our travel has mostly been for medical reasons and we feel very well taken care of. The beds are comfortable and a good height (you don't need a stepladder to get in), the bathtubs have adequate handholds for people with mobility issues, and the toilets are a proper height for adults (you don't end up with your knees in your ears! ). The rooms are always clean and well appointed. The room service menu has good variety and your meal arrives quickly. There is only one problem, the hotel has a water softener. We're not used to such soft water, it gives you a bit of a slippery feeling like the soap isn't rinsing off properly. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Well located for our needs. Very friendly staff who accommodated us with changing our room without any extra charge. Clean rooms, food was delicious but better bring an appetite as the portions are pretty big. Reasonably priced. Bed was a bit hard for us, use to a more soft mattress. But that is just a question of personal preference. All around good hotel :)

Douglas (manager) checked us in and was awesome! He was very charming, let us check in a bit early and really made our stay enjoyable. We had a meal and drinks at the restaurant. It was delicious! Portions are very large and a great price. The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed here twice and for a hotel it was very basic. Nothing to really write home about.
Untill my last stay when the front desk guy insulted my friend and I assumed her age and even went as far to say she was my mom. And to add to it all I was treated and spoken to like a child. So no. I think I can find another hotel when need be.

The location is still convenient despite the originally targeted market having been lost with the closing of the adjacent municipal airport over 6 years ago. Directly accessible by way of adjacent road system. Not that far to get to Roger's Place and the Ice District for entertainment opportunities. The facility is fairly complete but dated, both interior and exterior decors. It appears that some renovations are ongoing. It does though, include convenient fast food (Tim Horton's and A&W) as well as a lounge on site. Parking is good. The facility is secured by way of key cards into the buildings and the suites. Our room was very quiet. Located across the road from a shopping mall which provides even more convenience. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Complementary breakfast was not included but a reasonably priced breakfast was offered. Does not rank highly among the many Best Western Facilities we have stayed at over the past 3 years but was quite acceptable.

The staff here are fantastic! They were eager to help me plug in a medical item when the only outlet was behind the bed itself. The next morning a staff member assisted me simply because he saw my hands were full. He even came with me to my room and held my drinks while I unlocked the door. The pool area is small but the hot tub was a welcome sight after a long day. The room was clean and spacious. The pub upstairs served delicious pizza and had a small choice of beer on tap. I was very pleased with my stay. I absolutely would stay here again!

Great hotel! The room was clean, we really enjoyed the two separate rooms which had two queens. This is very convenient for a family. The beds were average. The pool and the water slide was well kept. The only thing we missed is the continental breakfast available at most other Best Western Hotels.

The hotel is just across Kingsway Mall. Unlike a number of hotels/motels that offers complimentary breakfast, this hotel offers a $9/person "express meal", a la carte or option to go to Tim Horton's that is connected to the building. As outside weather plummeted to — 26C without the chance of plugging your car for blockheater, inside the room was too warm even though I tried to adjust the thermostat. This comment might be "minor details" overall hotel ambiance is very good, very neat, professional and organized.
