They really need to update the hotel pictures because online verything looks so good when in reality the hotel and rooms are very old, specially the pool area is not like they said is a very small place, old, ugly and expensive with very rude people as staff, I don't recommend this hotel, the lady in charge of the pool was very unprofessional.

Paper thin walls, could hear rooms on both sides of us throughout the whole duration of our stay, this includes simple sneezing from the other rooms, comfy beds great staff but will never stay again as the lack of sleep from all the noise was BRUTAL.

Great service and staff are helpful.

We checked in and it seemed like they had better things to do. We never received any general information about the hotel that you usually would receive. The room we noticed was very dusty and looked like the cleaners dont take there job seriously. From our experience probably wont return. I am a Marriott member and this one did not succeed Marriott expectations.

Awesome service. Comfortable beds. Plenty of cool restaurants nearby. One of the better business class hotels I have stayed in. 5 stars.

I stayed a total of five days here, I started getting red bumps on my leg and thought it was possibly the duvets since they had feathers in them and they were poking me. Ended up finding a bed bug. If staying here, make sure to check and wash your belongings before going home.

Arrogant and useless managers, they let their friends use the waterpark when we had to pay for an extra room just to have my brothers kids in to get their mind off of loosing their grandpa! Extortion is a common practice by upper management, spoke to the General manager this morning, argument got heated and the guy hangs up the phone on me and avoids my calls, he clearly does not know the meaning of customer service. Would never stay here again, they break calgary health by laws just to impress their friends.

I have quite literally never had a horrible experience quite like the one I had at this hotel. Kids went swimming, hour was up, asked the lady working at the pool if we could stay longer as there was hardly any people in there. Told abruptly the best way to leave and get out. Restaurants not open when we arrived, ate out, came back. Kids were hungry in the evening, vending machines completely empty, no room service. Last morsel of food in the place was a hospital quality bun that they offered to sell me for $13, and bathroom tap water to drink. I expressed very clearly that I was unhappy to the staff member working. No yelling, no abusive language, just that this is less than what I’d expect from a 1-2 star hotel. Night manager offered us breakfast vouchers. We r to use them in the AM and was told by the server that they had spoken to the kitchen and that they were unwilling to accommodate my gluten allergy, not preference, SEVERE allergy. Went to the front desk to speak to the manager again about this deplorable customer service. Not yell, not swear, not use abusive language, but express my unhappiness and disappointment at the complete lack of customer care. The manager literally called me NASTY and told me the only reason they accommodated me at all is because I was NASTY. After he made me cry, he then offered to accommodate the gluten allergy and acted like all I had to do was ask for more swimming time and they would have accommodated it.

Stayed there on the weekend. Worst service with booking hotel. Finally booked a room drove 4 hours in crappy weather to only find out I didn’t have a room. Then put me in a room next to some machine that made noise outside all night.

It’s a very atmosphere and very romantic relaxing, it’s a great place to celebrate a anniversary I highly recommended to my friends!

Just arrived for 2 nights with our kids for our wedding anniversary weekend. Within 15 mins of arriving we had chilled prosecco and chocolates hand delivered to our room and bits for the kids. The bed is AMAZING — big and comfortable and it's all really clean. Very happy and can't wait to hit to pool tomorrow with the kids for what seems like it will be an amazing weekend thanks again sheraton cavalier hotel!

Very impressed with the service. After a minor set back in the room, Luanne took care of everything promptly and added a few extra goodies for the inconvenience. It is so appreciated. My 6 yr old was amazed & so excited by her kindness.

Very nice well thought of rooms. Wonderful pool and slides. And I loved the fact that I didn’t need to leave the hotel for meals! :)

Stayed here with my family this past weekend and enjoyed our stay. Awesome customer service, clean, and family friendly. The kids loved the waterpark, giant pandas, and bumble bee hunt! Beds were super comfortable. Staff were very friendly & helpful. We can't wait to return!

The bed and pillows were super comfortable! Steven at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming. Our waitress in Henry's pub was awesome.

I'm just here for a small conference but it certainly seems pretty nice. Lobby and meeting rooms look new and upscale… everything fresh and well-appointed. Washrooms are very clean, for what it's worth (I consider it a telling feature). Front desk people seem friendly and professional. I'd certainly consider staying here.

Nice clean rooms! Amazing pool and water slides with a snack bar where they even serve booze! kiddie pool and hot tubs! The people are friendly and accommodating!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended restaurants and things to do in the area. It's close to the airport about 10 min drive 20 tops in bad road conditions or heavy traffic. Clean room very traditional guest rooms as like any other hotel. All in all very pleasant stay And service just found quite a bit over charged for rooms.

Good hotel, was there for a conference and the breakfast + lunch the hotel provided was fantastic. Everyone loved it. Otherwise it's a normal nice hotel. First night there I was fluffing/adjusting pillows before bed and there was a hair on one of the pillowcases — went straight onto the ground. That is why only 4 stars.

Came with family so nieces and nephews enjoyed water slides except for there being too much chlorine in pool water. Shared a room with brother so was handicap accessible so enjoyed the large shower stall. Somehow my 8 year old niece put her picture and name on my profile.

A very nice place to stay — highly recommended for a family with kids! Staff were very kind and highly attentive to our needs and quickly assisted when something was needed. Given only three stars as we found our stay to be quite noisy! Other families made a lot of noise in the hall, which was easily heard in our room; every toilet flush from a nearby room was also heard. Needless to say it made an uninterrupted good night's sleep difficult. Additionally, we had wanted to pay for our stay with a pre paid Visa that was gifted to us, but staff were unable to, and put little effort into, figuring out how to process it.

Booked this hotel last minute at a pretty decent price. The hotel itself was very nice inside. They had a little setup with an employee giving out free ice cream when we walked in. (Not sure why) Check in was quick and easy, which I appreciate. The room was very nice, everything was clean. I love that they give the option to have cleaning done everyday to help conserve water. The next morning we had room service, which was surprisingly fast. I had the salmon lox bagel, it was phenomenal. Carvers Steakhouse, which is inside the hotel, was absolutely amazing. I will write a separate review on that.

The pool is very ideal for families. We stayed here with our 9 year old son and the water slides and pool were a hit. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rates are competitive. Location is good… close to airport and downtown with quick access to major routes. I wouldn't stay here as a couple though without my kids. Extremely loud. Parents allow their kids to run up and down the halls and don't seem to really care (not just one suite; many suites). We slept with the fan/air conditioner running all night to drown out noise after being woken at midnight on day 1 from kids. I don't see that as the hotels fault though… just ignorant parenting. Aside from that it was a completely positive stay and with kids we will return. The waterslides alone have us sold :)

We had dinner at Carver's after being told a downtown steakhouse had a 2 hour wait. Overall the food was excellent, one of the best steaks you can get. The wait staff was also great but the manager was walking around with a sour look on his face all night. I can't help but feel like this place would be as packed ad the one downtown if he wasn't setting this tone. I'd highly recommend anyone to try this place out.

The venue was nice. Food was so good. I love to come back if ever there is a buffet.

This hotel had the best pool ever! It was very clean and organized. We stayed there for a hockey terniment and it was really quiet. The breakfast was just amazing. The one thing that really impressed me was the staff. They where super respectful and kind. That might be the best hotel for a team to stay at. 5 star!

This hotel is totally awesome it is at a good location with all the amenities that you can find in and around the lobby. The staff are more than helpful. The food is great, comes nice and hot and good large portions.

I've stayed here twice for annual banquets and have had fairly pleasent experiences. My only issues are that the breakfast there was rather pricy, and the pool wears out swimsuits. If you do go swimming there, I recommend that you wear an older, already worn out swimsuit there. I say this because when I went swimming there in a two week old black swimsuit, it turned light grey. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very professional. Overall I would stay here again and recommend to others.

It was a great Easter eggsperience. If they had a Sunday brunch we may have been able to never leave the hotel. Staff were gracious and attentive. Parking lot was icy but what can they do.

Some of the fondest memories of my childhood were forged here twenty some years ago. I was beyond floored to return with my stepchildren. The pool is exactly as I remembered (which I guess makes it dated) but apparently will undergo renovation in April. The beds were great and they were more than happy to bring extra blankets to accommodate making a sleeping nest in the floor for my four year old twins. Will definitely be back!

I went there for my Fiftieth birthday party. We probably spent over $5000 entertaining all of my friends and family. They sent a bottle of champagne and strawberries to our room as a present and charged $50 for it to my credit card. Poor customer service all the way.

Very nice hotel, lots of amenities inside. (Two restaurants, a pub a gift shop and a Starbucks! ) Very nice swimming pool and water slides! Rooms are nice and spacious. The outside of the hotel looks a little outdated, but it's a big misconception as it's completely modern and up to date inside. The staff were 50/50 some were very friendly and others were very cold and snooty. We got a few dirty looks when our little guy got cranky while eating at the restaurant at lunch (there was one other person eating in the restaurant and they didn't seem bothered, just some of the staff seemed irritated and acted as if we were not good enough to eat there. ) No smiles just dirty looks with their noses up in the air. I felt very uncomfortable and we all just rushed and left. They really need to work on their friendliness, they are not welcoming. I would go back but the staff alone has ruined it for me and my entire family. (They will be staying elsewhere when they all come in) This hotel is not family or child friendly.

Really lovely property. Inspected a number of different room types — great value for money. On site parking and restaurants. Large waterside and hot tub on site; fantastic for children and the young at heart. Convenient to both the Calgary airport and downtown.

My second home. Love. Highly recommend. Great customer service, pools are great for the family, and the breakfast is to die for.

This place has a good indoor pool for the kids to play in. In winter, if you want to avoid snow piling up on your vehicle and having to scrap in the freezing morning, park at the lower level of the parking lot. It is sheltered and provides mains socket to plug in your car heater. Look out for nesting pigeons! The rooms are typical Sheraton standards. There's a convenience store downstairs for last minute essentials. The pub, Henry's is also pretty good.

Went for dinner at the steak restaurant. It was really enjoyable. Great service, wine was very good, table side ceaser salad is always a treat as this is a rare service to find anymore. Steaks were really well done. If you are looking for a good steak I suggest trying these guys out. Would have never thought of heading there but glad we found this gem. Will be back.

The staff was great. Good bed and loved the club room. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Definitely would stay at a Sheraton again.

Beautiful and clean place. The staff are friendly and helpful. The star for me was the catering; the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I've literally never had such amazing food at a conference before. Great variety, quality ingredients, and the flavours were diverse and full of impact. I'd love to go here again for another conference or to have a stay at the hotel.

We stayed over this past weekend. The staff was fabulous and friendly. Accommodated everything we asked quickly. My niece had her birthday over the weekend and I asked what they could do for her. On her birthday they deleivered her a card signed by the staff, a special gift bag with cookies and sparkling water. She was super happy and I can’t thank the hotel enough for making her feel so special. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Our room was nice. A decent view. The bed was quite hard. The sheets were starchy. The pool was busy all the time. It also needs a renovation, but the waterslides are fun. The morning breakfast was surprisingly good, although expensive, the buffet gets a thumbs up from me!

We really liked this hotel. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Very quiet. Had a really good sleep. Staff was extremely helpful. We would absolutely stay here again. The airport shuttle was very efficient. Just wish it had a free breakfast.

My best friends surprised me with a night out and booked a room with Sheraton. Although the room beside me was a little noisy, our experience at this hotel was great. Front desk reception could have been a little more friendly… however we will definitely come back for the overall experience.

I really liked this hotel — it's a little upscale from your usual airport hotel. The rooms are nice and well appointed. There are two restaurants — I tried the pub twice and it was great food — plus a Starbucks. Staff is friendly and accommodating. It's conveniently located for the airport, but a long ride to downtown.

Value for the price is not right. As an upscale hotel I expect high standards. Rooms are pretty noisy because of large A/C compressors outside. No bright main light on the rooms, only ambience. No complementary breakfast… These small things that make it not worth the higher price compared to mid range chains. Rooms were nice and clean, of course.

I was there to film the wedding, both inside the room (preparation part) and the reception. Rooms looks large and clean, but bathrooms are a bit too small. Overall hotel looks clean and well maintained. Reception took place in one of the larger event rooms based on first floor. Room can accommodate up to 300 guests. Food was delicious and service was fast and professional. Location is prime as well, with a lots of shopping and dining in the area, as well as close vicinity to YYC and main roads.

It was ok we checked in early evening of 28th and found the beds comfortable, TV was hard to figure out. Water slides the kids enjoyed. However we had running teens everywhere and we had baby sleeping by the kiddie pool and two kids constantly coming over and dripping on her. We never ate at hotel so can't rate there food. We got rate of $169 prepaid and at the end with all the taxes brought it back up to $189. It was our Anniversary and I told desk when we checked in, he didn't even wish us well. So a bit disappointed. And without informing us he put a $50 hold on our credit card for incidentals, I found out after I got the email and checked visa statement. Not sure if I'd come back again.

I was at the Sheraton Cavalier for a private function (wedding reception. ) The halls we were in were nice, and the ventilation was a huge help in keeping the room temperature reasonable. The catering at wait staff were all very friendly, and the food was delicious. The décor (for the reception) was beautiful!

We came to the hotel for a family vacation with 2 young children. The hotel was in a great location, very easy to get to and easy to get anywhere. The swimming pool has 2 slides and 2 hot tubs, great for The kids and relaxing as the adults. The staff have been very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and tidy. Overall has been a great experience! Would definitely recommend to stay here and plan to come here again in the future.

Only ten minutes away from the zoo and Spark, the Sheraton Cavalier provided or family the perfect place to stay! Not only is it close to the attractions you'll want to see, the hotel is an attraction of its own with a fantastic pool and set of waterslides for the kids (or the young at heart). The rooms are clean and service is great — this hotel will certainly be one we really visit again!

Attended an off site work meeting here for 1 day. The room was great, very spacious and we'll set up. The food provided in the morning, for lunch and for the afternoon was very good. In the afternoon an ice cream bar with hot fudge and strawberries as well as other toppings was excellent and a nice, unique offering. The room was a bit cool, but the heat was adjusted promptly when we asked. Would definitely have meetings here again.

I was expecting a bit more from a 4 star hotel; the building is a little tired. Staff are friendly and helpful. Decent price at $149 per night. Kids love the water park. The room was small but nicely updated. Breakfast was not included in the price. I would stay again for the kid's sake, but was not overly thrilled just because of the building itself.

Not worth the money, just because we agreed to not change the sheets they didn't come make up the room. Too many dogs, too many kids running down the halls late at night. No table in the room to play cards at, one lounging chair. Would not recommend!

We always enjoy coming to the Sheraton. Kids love the waterslides and I love getting the club rooms because it just makes life a little easier, specially for the breakfast in the morning. This year we came for New Year's Eve and my biggest disappointment was the food they offered for the club rooms. First of all the club room for the evening was closed and what was offered down in the resturant was very disappointing. Breakfast the next morning was another disappointment! Every breakfast I had there in the pass was amazing. I felt you guys offered very little then you ever have in the pass which surprised me specially with it being New Year's Day! I feel the club rooms this visit was not worth it compared to all our previous visits and may not consider the club rooms in the future if that's how it will be from now on.

Courteous and efficient service, they have clean modern rooms. Great pool and water slides for the kids, and you can get limited good and drinks in the pool area.

We booked for 2 nights and only stayed one. Rooms are not worth what they charge. Small, cramped, and not set up well for families. No breakfast included in the price to make up for what is charged. Wifi was slow and our room booking was messed up when we got there. The staff was very friendly, but we stayed at another hotel the second night for the same price and got a lot more for our money. Location was great, lots of great restaurants and shopping near by and water slides were fun, but we won't be staying here again.

No problem with the check in, room are decent enough. Needed a room near the elevator and we got one even though the hotel was busy due to the stampede. Overall decent service. Only small issue was we couldn't get some empty plates but went and bought some at Walmart.

The staff is very helpful and kind and let me tell you about how awesome the pool area is! Two waterslides and two hot tubs. About a 15 minute walk from Sunridge Mall.

I love this hotel! Whenever my family goes to Calgary we always stay here. The big waterslides are really fun, and the Colors restaurant has mostly good food (but the milk they serve is gross). The beds are cozy and it's easy to fall asleep on them. Despite having 56 rooms on each floor it's almost always quiet in the hall. They also have AC! I highly recommend this hotel to those of you staying in Calgary this summer!

Staff and rooms were excellent. Carver's restaurant did a fantastic job of accommodating our large group and everyone agreed the food was delicious. Henry's pub has reasonably priced cocktails and I would definitely recommend the dry ribs!

Hotel was overall very nice. The bed was comfortable. Pillows were terrible and the room was only half made up each day. They left our dirty cups instead of changing them. Overall it was ok though.

Just stayed a night, arrived late in the evening and check in staff were quick and courteous as always. Room was clean and comfortable. Will return.

My stay was ok. Room and facilities were clean and decent. Bed was too hard for me personally and was also very creaky. The air conditioning in the room was very loud. I'm normally a very heavy sleeper but between the creaky bed every time I moved and the AC being so loud I didn't sleep well. I probably won't stay here again but I wouldn't say it should be avoided considering the price.

Nice room, very clean, great pool area, more than enough free parking. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The outside of the hotel was surprisingly ugly and unremarkable for as nice as it was inside.

As Owner of A Laptop Shoppe I enjoy this hotel, I recommend it to my out of town guests. The restaurants are classy, I have attended professionally hosted business meetings for my industry.

I have been using thier meeting facility with my group and it's been good. Staff are courteous and will to help you out. Food in the little restaurant inside is great. I recommend the fish tacos!

We had a great stay at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel. The room and staff were great. The only negative I can think of is that the pool was cold.

My favourite business hotel in Calgary, maybe even Western Canada. Great service, clean hotel, very good Wi-Fi and the business lounge is great.

Love this hotel, the kids get as excited to go here! We love the pool and watersides. Sometimes we wish the water was warmer. Friendly staff, restaurant is great for breakfast too.

Typical hotel. In every aspect of it. Didnt like it. At all. Had booked for 2 nights I ended up staying for a night only. The rooms are not worth what they charge. Wi-Fi is slowest and you have to pay extra to connect extra devices. Trust me, try homewood suites by hilton, way cheaper and amazing stay always.

Worst hotel stay ever! The lifeguards at the pool were unqualified and were bullying me. I am a lifeguard and they didn't follow the proper safety guidelines. My little brother hit his head on the slide and they yelled at him for hitting his head. Some person went to early and was fooling around on the slide, trying to surf and kneed him in the head. They kicked us out for standing up for my little brother and as we were walking out they told us we were "little bitches that couldn't take a hit. " We went back the next day and they said we were banned from the pool and waterslide. Finally, the General Manager came and told us that he was going to call the police and charge us $200 for harrassment, when they were harrassing us.

Stay here alot. Good selection of restaurants near by and a nice mall 10 min walk away. Hotel clean and staff are friendly!

On the first night of me staying at the hotel, I went down one of the waterslides. I went down laying on my back as I normally would, I ended up coming around one of the corners, it took me high up the side of the slide. I ended up losing control and smashing my face, hitting my head, nose, crushed my front tooth and cracked my upper lip on the slide. The hotel showed little remorse for what happened. I had pieces of the slide stuck in my lip for days after the incident happened. I was very unimpressed with how it was handled and would never stay or recommend anyone else to stay here in the future.

Clean and trendy hotel and conference center. Food quality meets expectations with a lot to choose from. On the down side, there is not a lot nearby, it is far from downtown.

Great place, best parking lot in Calgary which is very important to me as I often tow a high value collector car when travelling to car shows in the area. I can always find parking for my truck and car trailer away from the crowds. Starbucks right off the elevators, gotta love that. Nice, if a little small fitness area. Staff always friendly and check a breeze. Have stayed here many times and am returning again this weekend! Great job everyone.

Ever since I was a kid I can remember going to the Sheraton Cavalier in Calgary. Playing in hockey and soccer tournaments the highlight of the trip was the water slides before and after the games. It has become a tradition for my family to stay there at least 2-3 times a year as my kids are constantly asking when we can make it down there. Not only do I enjoy the water slides with my family but I really enjoy the hotel in general and have used it for all my business trips. Whenever I'm heading down to Calgary and I need to stay at least one night, the Sheraton is my first choice.

Expensive hotel that charges you for every little thing, no free breakfast and it cost 15 bucks for basic eggs and toast, only one free day of Wi-Fi, horrible water pressure beds were uncomfortable. Very disappointed with this hotel.

Excellent hotel! Friendly staff! Professional look! Its a must love! Rates are just perfect when the hotel isn't so busy but when busy or at peak periods it could be quite high (nothing spectacular about that. Just following the law of demand and supply with price). You need to check out the water-slides! Amazing! Colors, Carvers Steakhouse, etc. Marvelous meals. But the best still being the friendly, professional and wonderful staff! Keep it up guys.

Good place to stay if you ask for corporate rate. Otherwise if we paid full price I would feel I paid to much for what we got. 15 bucks for a cot, make sure when you book they include it in the price. They charge for everything even for local calls. Tightwads! Nice swimming facility, great for all ages! Oh and bring your own snacks unless you like paying 5 times original price.

Good hotel. Stayed here with my wife, two children (2 and 4) and our (small) dog. The water slides were a big hit with the kids. The 'Colours' restaurant is kid-friendly and the food is good. The beds are comfortable and the room is a good size — we paid $150 for a room with two queens. We could have upgraded to a suite with a separate room for $350, which we did not do. The food is good, $16 for eggs benedict. The only negative thing was that you can't leave your pet in the room unsupervised, so we had to leave the dog in the car when we went out to eat or to the water slides. Overall we had a good experience here.

I've stayed at many hotels and I would say that this was well above par for the style and price. I've stayed at this hotel with my wife and kids on vacation as well as for business purposes. True that if you travel on the weekend there are many kids around, but only because there's plenty for my own kids to do. The pool is great, with several waterslides the kids and hot tub for us adults. As for traveling during the week the hotel was very professional with business in mind. The staff are wonderful and the rooms are kept very clean. I have often referred friends to the hotel and will continue to do so.

We stayed here on a Wednesday night on our way to Banff. The price was about $260, the room was small, 2 queen beds and disappointing. The room was reasonably quiet considering we're a bit close to the airport, the sheets were crackly, very loud but comfortable. Lots of pillows if you like that thing. Our biggest disappointment was the price.
