This is the worst place! No customer service at all. I had a reservation in December and was unable to get to the room because the elevator fob didn't work. No one answered my calls. I never got into the room! And now the manager Lisa James says the fob did work and no refund is possible. How would she know? No one was there when I needed help accessing the room. Never stay here!

Do not believe the positive reviews on here, it is probably them writing them! Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else.

So I booked an apartment on 6th and 10th, Beltline. A modern and stylish apartment for 5 nights. The address and location was clearly printed. I went to check in at an alternative venue, that was fine. But, then I was booked at a different address by Ostays, the women on the reception assured me it was to the same standard. I went to the apartment, it was an absolute disappointment. Old, dated and small apartment. No washing machines. Not the area I had booked, which would be close to an event I am attending. I called — she already knew, said I’d have to come back — I mean I wasn’t staying in that apartment for the money I’d payed — I’d rather book a hotel. I went back with all my belongings. Waited an hour as the booking disapppeared. She offered me a new apartment, showed me photos! I said I’d only go if she promised me it was the same! It wasn’t of course. The bedroom of the new apartment has no light, lamp not working. I had to also put up with an insesant squeaking noise all night, didn’t sleep. I’m so disappointed in the false advertising and promises.

Booked through a third party site. Didn't get the email detailing that we needed to go to their office to check in at a different site and not the condo. Drove to the condo address given to us by the booking website, which is a residential condo. There was no concierge, no directions if you booked through Ostays, no way to get in. Called Ostays but only got to the voicemail (first call). On their voicemail they had their office address. Drove to the office, could. Not. Find. It. Their front door is nestled between two patio tables. Not joking. Their door had their logo but it was propped open, obscuring their logo. No signs anywhere visible from the sidewalk. Called again and got VM. Left message this time. I eventually had to ask the hostess at the restaurant to find the entrance. After all this, it's been 2 hours later. Complained to the front desk person since manager wasn't around. They were nice enough but blamed third party booking agent. I emailed the manager but she basically said she would check if I got the email. No response yet and was not empathic about the situation. I would not recommend O stays. Did not like their communication or their treatment of my complaints. Oh, the place was nice… Not the company.

Vetro 2 bedroom. Nice room. Clean. Quiet. Bed's were comfortable. Neighbourhood was a bit seedy. Service was mediocre at best. They should stop advertising themselves as a hotel because the service was no where near what even to what a 2-3 star hotel delivers. Based on room alone I would give a 4 star review. Due to the incredibly disappointing service I am giving them a 2 star review. When I booked my room I was led to believe that there would be parking I could book when I checked in. When I checked in I was informed that there was no parking available with the suite I had reserved. When I questioned the young lady at the desk she shrugged and told me to park on the street. When I asked what parking facilities were available nearby she told me she didn't know. When I go to my room there was actually a FAQ card in the room that informed me I could book parking for $25 a night by contacting the registration desk. When I contacted them they told me again that there was not for my suite. I ended up paying to park in a surface lot across the street. While it was affordable, this was not a nice area of town. There is an addiction centre next to the parking lot and I witnessed a few fist fights on the sidewalk in front of it. There is a large homeless community in the immediate area. None of this would have been an issue had I had a parking spot under the building.

What an incredible hotel. Steps away from 17th, but located on a quiet street, this hotel has proven to be the best decision I've made in awhile. Clean and comfortable apartments with hot modern design enable me to enjoy all the comforts of home as a visitor to Calgary. Check-in was smooth and easy, parking is right outside and the building is immaculate. High-pressure showers (hard to find in many places! ) are really important to me, and at no point have I had any issues with hot water, unlike an experience at the Hyatt a few years ago. The building is quiet, the location is central, the staff have been amazing, responding to any concern right away and thoroughly resolving the issue (only issue I encountered was that I was unsure how to use the washer, they explained it quickly and simply and offered to send someone over in case I had further trouble. I didn't. ) Cannot recommend this place strongly enough. You'd be foolish to stay anywhere else. Standing ovation for the the Ovation.

We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to using O suites again! The front desk is very friendly and the suite was spotless and in a great location. Rachell at the front desk was welcoming and friendly. Very helpful with providing information about the city.

The ALURA location is highly recommended — brand new building, high-end amenities (including in-suite laundry and fitness centre), and a fantastic location walking distance to the heart of downtown. Across the street from C-Train and Saddledome/Stampede Park, Sunterra Fresh Market 1 block away etc. Check-in procedures have improved greatly since last time I stayed at one of their properties (in 2015) ; still a bit inconvenient to have to check-in at a property other than the one you're staying at, but at least there's someone there, keys are ready etc. Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived and walked to get the keys. Then we were told our room needed maintenence and we old not be staying there. We had family coming coming from out of province and we were given two single suites, which ment we wouldn't be spending time with family like we wanted. Our room had damaged furniture and the other was on a different floor. The building was noisey and had 4 parking spots. Each room had satellite with BASIC channels and had net Flix for half the stay then we couldn't use that due to their account info needing update. Needles to say will not be returning or recommending.

We had a fabulous stay — it was a spacious condo, and beautiful inside. Great downtown location, and the staff were friendly and helpful at check in. It was great to have a full kitchen, and we enjoyed the morning coffee provided in the suite.

We had a fantastic stay! What a great value for what you pay. Rooms were sparkly clean, great front desk staff and check in/out was quick and simple. We look forward to returning!

The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. Very annoying that there is no free parking allotted to the room, it is an additional cost and should be advertised. Very noisy during the day up to 11pm. Was told that it was a dog friendly neighbourhood but the closest Park is school property that doesn't allow dogs. Saying all this it is conveniently located close to 17 Ave for all shopping and dining. Because it is downtown we found a homeless person changing in our front entrance and witnessed a violent domestic dispute in the adjacent apartment all on the first night. Although exciting and entertaining maybe wouldn't be best for a family.

The walls are pretty thin so any children or loud neighbours are easily heard. Better than a hotel though!

Not a hotel. Room was in disrepair, awkward layout, and expensive. Not worth it.
