Awesome friendly place to visit and stay 👍🏻

I had a wedding decorations last night and today, kassandra and her team (front desk and group of guys) helped us park our cars and carry all decorations stuff to the Rocky Mountain Ballroom and to outdoor patio.
Very Excellent service.

We have stayed at this property years ago and have been impressed with the service and value of such a great location. The renovation to the lobby and rooms is a nice improvement. It has a modern art deco feel and vibe. Oh BIGGEST impression was connecting my device to the TV to stream YouTube. The front desk staff were amazing and great to talk with about the recent history of the property.

My husband come for work, so me and our daughters got to enjoy the pool. Very kind and friendly staff! Rooms are clean! Enjoying our stay! Definitely will be back and recommend!

My husband and I loved our stay at this hotel! We are looking forward to another stay soon! Our room was clean, modern and quiet. The food we had was delicious. And our view of the city was stunning!

The room was very clean. The service is not that bad and not that excellent as well. Its should be good if they will include a free meal and free bottled water with an overnight stay.

Fantastic service at front desk. Restaurant was beautiful decorations for Christmas and our server Greg was phenomenal above and beyond!

Had an amazing 1 night stay at Delta in Downtown. Room is modern and very clean. We enjoyed the pool especially my son! Location is superb. Very close to malls and restaurants. Staffs are very friendly. Easy check in and check out. The parking fee is not too bad compared to other hotels in downtown. Highly recommend the hotel.

The Marriott Downtown is an amazing hotel for professionals looking to find a quality place to lay their head after a long day of Conferencing, Closing Deals and Networking! Highly suggest!

I liked this hotel before the renovation but I love it after. Their motto of simplicity holds true. They do everything you expect right and nothing is overly complex or frustrating. The renovated rooms are inviting and clean. Most importantly the staff is great. I would especially like to give a shout out to Philip from the front desk/check in. Always been great to deal with. Hadn’t seen him here in a while and glad to have him back. Genuine, polite, and friendly. Doesn’t feel like talking to a robot reading a script. Very much appreciated.

Beautiful hotel (even though they are renovating). The view from the room is wonderful. Short walk to the train and easy to find my way around. Very pleasant staff. I would recommend this hotel.

Loved staying at this hotel! In spite of the construction, it's a great location. Within walking distance to some of the best restaurants in the city. The staff took extra steps to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I had a clean, quiet room and settled in quickly and comfortably. Big shout out to Josette who came to my aid when I needed help preparing for a meeting. Thanks to a great team of people for giving me a wonderfully unforgettable hotel experience. I highly recommend staying here!

Great location and very nice hotel. Would have given it 5 stars but there is a lot of construction during renovation. Though the construction did not impede anything it was inconvenient. We did not have a renovated room but it was a nice room. The renovated rooms are excellent. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Great service. Ask for a renovated room if available. Once the renovation is finished I would move it to 5 stars.

The hotel is being renovated. I stayed on a renovated floor and the room was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was that the door to the room was difficult to open, maintenance wasn't much help. Overall I definitely recommend this hotel.

Some renovations at the time of check in but courteous staff were very helpful. Was given room on 23rd floor we was just finished. And wow what views. Room set up and comfort were excellent. Would stay again. With a 4as m check out was given a breakfast box which was most welcomed.

Convenient location in downtown, blocks away from Chinatown. Dim sum was a short five minute walk away. Parking was cheap ($10 a day for guests) and convenient, located directly under the hotel with elevator access to the lobby. During my stay, they were undergoing renovations and the fumes in the parking lot were unbearable at times. Check out is at noon, but my car could stay in the lot until 6pm the same day, so I was able to explore the area for lunch after check out before returning to the car later. The rooms are spacious and clean. No noise could be heard from any other guests through the walls. The beds were too firm for me, but that's a personal preference. For those that like coffee, a Starbucks is built right into the lobby.

Every time I have dealt with The Delta in downtown Calgary, it's been an extremely positive experience. When I've met people for drinks or dinner, the food and wait staff were fantastic. When I've stayed overnight, the beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet. And most recently when I attended a professional event, the board room was well equipped and comfortable. My only complaint about the Delta would be that it's a little far north to walk to 17th Avenue, and the exterior of the building is a little plain. But these are trivial complaints for a hotel.

Missing the Basics. THE BAD: -ROOM: Refuse to give any hotel that charges + $150 a night more than 3 stars if it doesn't have a microwave. -VENDING:There's only one vending machine but it doesn't offer beverages -SUNDRIES There is no sundries for sale -GREEN SERVICES: Don't fall for this. It is not worth it. They never came back to empty the trash or replace the coffee. I thought they were just not going to give me new towels or make the bed. I probably will not stay here again for that reason alone. PROS: -FITNESS CENTER: They have a brand new fitness center with very nice (but limited) weight machines. Of course like most gyms the buy too many over priced treadmills and elliptical machines and skimp on weight machines, free weights, and exercise bikes (the bikes they did have did not work when I tried them) -STAFF: The staff was very friendly UPDATE May 10, 2018: On my last day there they finally did come and empty the trash and bring more coffee.

Good location, great staff. Nice clean rooms. Only downside is there was some renovations going on during our stay, and the shower temperature was very temperamental, so you would be mid shower and it would suddenly get very hot. Otherwise, great hotel.

Outdated but seems to be undergoing renovations right now. Rooms are dark and old as well as the bathrooms. For the price it needs work, so I hope that is what the renovations are addressing!

Rooms were clean. Staff was very accommodating. I recommend this place to everyone who is planning to spend a couple of days in downtown Calgary!

Overall always a pleasant stay as I come here once a month for business travel typically. There was a lot of construction/renovations happening this time which did cause for some inconvenience and several fire alarms/systems were being tested for 15-20 minutes which was annoying to say the least. A little heads up during check-in would have been appreciated so I could have gone out to avoid it. Regardless the staff are almost always pleasant and the simple eats menu is delicious and reasonable for hotel room service food. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Lovely hotel with a great view. We enjoyed our night there. The pool and hot tub are kept at reasonable temperatures, neither too hot and cold. The bistro was quite quiet, the staff were all very nice and pleasent, as were all the staff we ran into at the hotel.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the fact that the hotel is outdated. I trust that with the ongoing renovations that will be taken care of.

Nice hotel. Unfortunately going through renovations but that happens and I'm sure will be worth it in the end. Noise was not an issue at night.

This was a great experience. Yes the hotel is under renovation, but we got amazing service and amenities for the 5 days we were there. The location is great for enjoying downtown and it's close to public transit. If you get the south side, you get a great view of the Calgary Tower.

I’ve never had such a horrible experience at a hotel in my life. I had called on 3 separate occasions about charter bus parking. I was informed it was $50 a night. We get there, and they say they don’t have parking available because of the remodel. Which is something I confirmed the day prior to arrival. We also had a large group staying and multiple people in our group had to switch rooms due to issues with the rooms themselves. Also, front desk failed to inform me that they charge a $100 incidental PER NIGHT of your stay. Unfortunately everything about the hotel was terrible. Rooms are outdated and run down. The only positive I have is the restaurant they have had the best wait staff. The restaurant itself is slow, but they’re very accommodating. Overall if you’re looking for a great hotel, I would skip it. I would go to
Motel 6 over this.

Great place for the value and amenities, pool, hot tub, sauna and gym.

Perfect downtown hotel for easy access to all of the downtown areas. There is underground parking at a reasonable price as well as a Starbucks in house. The hotel also has a lounge in the lobby where you can have a drink or a snack before heading out for the evening. This hotel is located just when you enter into downtown, making it easy to get to if you dont like driving downtown.

The Delta hotel is downtown Calgary. This was the first time I stayed in this hotel and I'd say that it is OK overall. There's nothing wrong, in particular, about this hotel, but some stars were removed for the following reasons: 1. The parking is a bit limiting, especially if you have a large vehicle. 2. I was inquiring about extending my stay at the hotel, and the staff were unable to assist with my request because the booking was made through an online service. 3. For a mid-class hotel, such as the delta, the shower was quite bad. The pressure was lower than I'd expect and I constantly had to adjust the temperature because it wouldn't stay hot. This could be because the building is old. 4. The bed was incredibly squeaky. Not sure what the deal is there. Overall, 3/5 stars.

My boyfriend and I had an incredible stay at this hotel. It's right downtown, so you're close to everything you could need. The hotel is beautiful, and the pool is open really late, which is amazing. The only problem we had was the parking, which was kind of annoying, but understandable in Calgary. Would recommend staying here.

They were extremely accommodating to our family! After the first night we were moved into a bigger room so my little guy could get a better sleep. They provided us with a microwave and anything else we needed! They even gave my little girl a treat bag! The staff was super friendly and was always asking if there was anything we needed. Food was great and it was close to the Science Center and Zoo. I would highly recommend staying here!

Rooms were EXTREMELY dry, could not feel my tongue in the morning and had a hard time sleeping. Bar area was okay but very warm! Also, there were only two channels available on their tv's not allowing us to watch the sports we were looking for. Food that was served for morning and lunch during our conference was excellent and staff were very friendly.

Hotel is within walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and coffee shops. The staff were all very professional and helpful. Hubert was our server for our event and he was very very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean even though the hotel was fully booked at the time. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

The rooms are not the first freshness, such can be had in the provincial towns, but clean. The service is good. Good breakfast. The swimming pool is open until 12 nights. There is a parking which is very convenient, and most importantly it is Dawn town.

The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the complementary sparkling water but the fruit wasnt exactly the cream of the crop. The lotion/shampoo provided was above average, and the beds were wonderful. Unfortunately our neighbors decided to have what I can only assume was early morning sex with the bed frame against the wall. Not the easiest to fall back asleep to. And the previous day they tested the fire alarms… Overall, though, the hotel was above average. The hot tub was incredibly relaxing after a week of backpacking, and the hotel bar was pretty snazzy. I'd stay there again.

I was upgraded to a small suite, which offered plenty of room. Very convenient to the downtown area. Nicely second rates were reasonable. I would stay here again.

First time to Calgary and this hotel. Found staff very polite and helpful, service very good especially at breakfast, no complaints here! Nicely situated to get around calgary, would stay here again. Ps… hubby had a burger, best he has had!

Not a bad hotel. The staff that greet you are really friendly and helpful. The rooms were well kept and organized.

Staff did an exceptional job. Jay & Marco at the front desk, Greg in the lounge, all super friendly and very helpful. Check-in was a little confusing as we were told there was no parking by the concierge but then the front desk said there was. In the end there wasn't but we were handed a map to overflow. I was disappointed that there was no valet service to overflow parking. Can of Pop at breakfast was expensive but other than that the food was good. Nice, comfortable room. Clean hotel interior, room, pool, lounge, lobby etc. Absolutely would stay again and would recommend to others.

Arguably there are better hotels in downtown Calgary but the Delta has the quality at a better price. It's a clean hotel, friendly professional staff, free Wi-Fi, a great lounge with local craft beer and at an ideal location downtown. I've stayed here several times and at the other top hotels downtown as well, but I always return to the Delta.

Great location easy to walk to the restaurants & museums in Calgary maybe 10 minutes walk. Also the beautiful river walk is near the hotel (down road opposite). Hotel has about 26 floors so some will have good views. Good night's sleep comfortable beds & there is a fridge in the room. Didn't eat in the restaurant as there's so many choices nearby.

Smack righ in the middle of Downtown. Watched the Canada Day fireworks from my room. No need to leave the comforts. Love their dry steam room. Complimentary bottled water. Although no microwave oven but you can request.

Standard quality of a hotel chain. Neither disappointed nor enthusiastic. Very good location in the city center.

The location of the hotel is close to my place of work. We have business functions with their boardrooms and will often have a side bar meeting in their casual dinning area. The place is always clean and presentable with tons of natural light. Really like the place.

It's a good location because it's a pretty short walking distance to a number of places downtown. The rooms are clean and somewhat modern. The service is great. All the staff are nice and helpful and they know what they're doing.

Superb overnight stay! Room was spacious, fantastic views and comfy furniture. Breakfast in the morning was better than my expectations: very filling and tasty.

The room was clean and modestly equipped. The front desk and restaurant staff were excellent. The hot tub was foaming over the edge and didn't have clean towels during our two night stay (despite being prompted the first night that the pool was out of clean towels). We asked for clean towels in our room and they didn't arrive either. Perhaps they were having staffing issues, but somebody should maintain the pool, keep it stocked and respond to basic requests from guests. A little disappointing at times, but mostly a great stay!

The Delta Calgary downtown is a centrally located well-appointed hotel downtown. Was there for a weekend social gathering. The rooms were decent — clean and comfortable, and somewhat spacious. The door staff was exceptionally friendly, and the banquet facilities were well-equipped. Food was great, the snacks and handmade chips that they put out for us were awesome. My only complaint was the price of drinks, and the skill/speed of some of the banquet staff. $4 for a pop is robbery. $7 for a Corona is too! They ran out of some popular drinks, they ran low on change and they weren't working with any sense of urgency.

Well priced hotel with great proximity to key areas of the city. I've stayed here as a local for a university event, and the delta team made it a very comfortable experience. The rooms are a bit dated, as it the hotel in general, but nothing to worry about. The main floor area (I hesitate to describe it as a lobby) is an excellent place to relax as well.

Service was great no issues. Only there one night but went to the bar and had a great time next morning had my conference for work and great experience.

Excellent banquet facilities. Dining experience was great, waiting staff were so good you barely noticed they were there all the while your drinks were being replenished and food being served.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Great location near lots of restaurants. Great breakfast in the morning. By far the best view of Calgary I have ever seen. Staff were quick to respond to the one issue I had and very informative.

Great location, close walk to everything there is to do downtown. Room was nice and clean, service was great. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
