On TripAdvisor it says you get breakfast, in the hotel they have notices in the rooms saying breakfast is included in the price but they wouldn't give us breakfast, they wanted €29 extra per night! The beds are awful, the sheet is a material covered thick plastic thing, very uncomfortable and leaves you hot and sweaty. The sink didn't drain properly and it leaked on the floor. The kettle cord is so short you can only use it on the floor as that's where the power socket is. The rooms are small tatty and stuffy, not helped by red carpet and walls. The maid decided the best place to have a break was by walking out on to the fire escape and sitting on our window sill and smoking a cigarette. If you don't like stairs don't go here, they won't offer any help, despite it being steep and tight. The woman on the desk kept asking for the city tax, normally paid at the end, it seemed to be the only thing she was interested in. Overall this was the worst hotel I've stayed in Bruges by a long shot and I would not recommend it and certainly wouldn't ever stay there again even if it was dirt cheap, I've stayed there more than 30 times in the last 15 years and there are some fantastic hotels at a good price, this isn't one of them.
