The best Flemish stew and Belgian fries we had in this Bruges trip of ours. Highly recommended to dine at this restaurant.

Worst hotel I've ever been. Stains all over the floor. The curtains used to be white but were grey. The 'bathroom' wasn't a bathroom. It were just a shower and a toilet behind a dirty wall.

Unsympathetic not kind, I go to the toilet 0.50 that I will pay may dwarf than a 50 euro bill. Almost makes me look rude. I had to dabod'a ask permission. Out of obligation because public toillette cesc' with coins. Ssole I find his a can be strong. I want to get paid and because I have a big ticket makes me insult impol.

I stayed for 4 nights, shared a double room with my friend. Staff were warm & friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was a tasty standard continental, served with a smile. The shower always had a fresh supply of towels and the room was comfortable and suitable for our needs. My only criticisms were the wonky stairs (although I had more than a few beers each time I navigated them, so that could have been me! ), the main front door is a little stiff and a run around with a duster wouldn't go a miss. For its location/suitability for getting about its great and worth the money. I would definitely stay here again.

Mediocre place with a lot of grannies and slow Wi-Fi. Tolerable, but there are multitude of lovely spots to spend a leisure time in the depths of the city.

The location was fine but room was not cleaned at all. There was rubbish from the previous customer in the room and the shower took ages to work. Over all, it really should have been better for what we paid.

Called in here for lunch with my daughter, menu was quite basic. We received quite a warm welcome. The waiter was friendly (to start with). We ordered chicken breast fillet and our drinks. Our drinks arrived but then we were told they had no chicken. We took another look at the menu but there was no other meals that we ate so asked if we could just have chips and salads. We could but would have to pay for it as if we were having a full meal as there is no button on the till to put those items through on their own. I'm not tight but I would not pay over 20 euros for a bowl of chips with a side salad. The waitress then came over offering us chicken vol-a-vents. We declined as it's not something we eat but thanked them. We decided to just have our drinks and go elsewhere to eat. We asked for the bill, this was acceptable at €6. We all know once we're home we can't exchange foreign currency coins so I went to pay using the coins. I took out of my purse 1x €2, 3x €1, 50c, 1x 20c, 1x10c, 2x 5c and the other 10c in 2s and 1s. When the waitress saw what I was doing she came marching up informing me they wouldn't accept payment in that way because of bank charges and did I have any other way of paying. I informed her that yes I did but I wanted to empty my purse of change. Again she said she wouldn't accept it but she wasn't polite about it and made quite a scene over it.

Sat on a table by the window and was asked to move as we weren’t dinning, only having a drink, which wasn’t a problem but noticed that no one else was asked to move who were not eating and it was not busy. Then came to pay 7 Euro bill, but they didn’t have any change for a 10 Euro note and couldn’t pay on card under 25 Euro, so my my mum had to go and buy something from a shop to get change. Not a great experience but hot choc was nice.

We used the resturant only. It was terrible. The food, the service, we should of walked out but it was getting late and we were hungry, so we decided to stay. We visited the resturant 24/2/18, during the very cold weather weve all been experiencing. The resturant like most out in Bruge had a welcoming fire. So we asked to be seated there as we noticed that there was approx. 5 empty tables. We asked to be seated there but were told no, we could see that they had 'reserved' labels on the tables. We were seated in a draughty area next to the conservatory. So I sat there with my coat on. We waited a good 10/15 minutes before we were asked what we would like to drink. We then waited another 10 minutes to be given them, we were timing it and if they hadnt given us our drinks just before they did was were going to walk out. Shame we didnt! I ordered Steak Bearnaise and asked for it to be cooked well done and to opt for salad and not chips, I was told that was not possible, as we were hungry, I said not to worry. My partner asked for Vlaamse Stoverij which is a traditional flemish stew. Whilst we were waiting for our diner, I was looking around and wish that I didnt, youve got toilets that actually open out into the resturant and the man behind te bar was drying the glasses with a cloth that had seen better days, when not in use it sat over his shoulder. Our diners arrived.

Not cheap, but excellent food and pleasant staff. Steak and pepper sauce to die for, and a small selection of good beers. Couldn’t fault it.

Extremely rude stuff. Horrible facilities and a really expensive price for a bed (no shower, no toilet in the room)!

Very rude people. Even if you try to talk to them and solve a problem politely, they interrupt you and they make no effort to help you.

The restoration part nothing to say.
On the other side hospitality many things to review.
The bedding is unworthy of a hotel, although the cleanliness is very correct there is no comfort on the mattresses, Room 10 smells a strong smell of cold tobacco.
No lighting in the bathroom.
In terms of comfort nothing is planned to stay a little, no TV, no armchair or office and the Wi-Fi one forgets, the lighting is insufficient.
The outside environment of the hotel is noisy especially on weekend nights very watered.
Hotel part to avoid if you are accustomed to some comfort.
You will come by accident, you will return by constraint…

Service was very good but the hotel needs a serious refurbishment.

Very well received and excellent meal too! I recommend and plan to go back.

No respect for the customer! We were asked to leave because we only had one coffee! And I pass on to you the non-existent kindness of the manager!

Overall good quality. Enjoyed my stay thoroughly.

Check in time is very early. Even after calling advising we would be late because of a delayed flight, they said check in was closed after 9pm, no exceptions. The next morning, upon arrival we were told they were there until later. A single call from them would have saved us paying for another stay near to the airport. Of course they did not refund us for the lost night. The customer service is okay at best.

It's a basic hotel but for the price it was good enough.

The Hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly
The room is not at all isolated, does not answer the phone, the sink leaks and is broken, the hot water runs poorly.
No elevator.
Avoid at all costs.

The hotel is inclined and you sleep in a way that will stop you going to fall at all times. On top, they accompany him with a horrible deal.

Honestly I don't mind having to share a bathroom. However what got me was the poor service we got and that my boyfriend and I stayed on the third floor and the Wi-Fi didn't connect upstairs. Done deal for me.

The food was average and expensive. The staff was friendly but slow at every stage in the meal.

Never go to this restaurant again. Sat and waited for the server to order around 15min… not even a server coming to ask what we'd like to order (whereas tables around us are ALL ordered, surely, we require to place the order) Several servers walked by and one of these even pushed my chair — you did have time to push my chair while you've got not time to place our order. Interesting. Again, never go to this restaurant.

We were seated by a friendly lady hostess after saying we wanted to have drinks and snacks. A male waiter then presented us with a grill menu which did not have small plates and had no vegetarian options. We saw that people were being served fries in a large bowl and politely asked if we could have one of those. The waiter then shouted at us and said it is not funny, they are a restaurant. We explained we only wanted small plates and there are no vegetarian options, to which he loudly exclaimed, fries are not vegetarian! We paid for our drinks and left feeling incredibly embarrassed. The hostess was apologetic.

Bad food, Horrible staff. Our glasses and table were dirty, even the menu had food all over it. As if that wasn't enough, the waiters were blatantly rude! And then the food. Well let's say I would not recommend there "spaghetti" to anyone.

Boys room must be really because all francophones who consumed beers in room or terrace were not offered the small dish of biscuits! Only the Dutch were entitled! So I think it's da xenophobia.

My party and I booked a room here on the basis that we would be able to check in late (after their 6pm closing time). The booking was accepted and on contacting the hotel via phone they informed us that we would be unable to check in at our needed time. They then charged us a no show fee of 110 euros even though they had accepted the booking on the late arrival premise. I've attempted to contact them numerous times about this and have yet to have any response. Avoid.
