The roomkeepers are impolite. The hotel is located in front of the financial district and besides the famous belvedere Palace. The breakfast needs improvement, especially the juices which are nothing but coloured water.

Have stayed here 3 times. Love this hotel! Close to train station and Schloss Belvedere. Breakfasts are good.

Central place in Vienna. Near Vienna Central station. Several commuting options. Good amenities. Suitable prices.

Good hotel for the price and location. Very easy to get around the city and to the airport. Would recommend.

As a comfortable and discrete hotel, is a good option. The facade looks neglected, but the inside is very charming, with a old fashion yellow decoration. The front desk attendants are polite, and very efficient. The breakfast is excellent, with all the desirable options that you can expect. The room in which I stayed had two suitable beds, a small freezer, a table and a chair, red carpet. The bathroom had a hair dryer, but the bath section only had a half fixed panel, so every time you took a bath the water splashed out. It’s very near of the trains station, and the Belvedere. I recommend it.

Great hotel to spend a few days in Vienna.
A convenient location. The metro, train station or tram stop is no more than 3 minutes on foot. Next on the tram or subway to the center of 10 minutes. Just next to the park and the Belvedere Palace.
The rooms are small but comfortable, there is everything you need. As usual in Vienna Wi-Fi is free.
Breakfasts are ordinary continental.
The staff are friendly, always willing to help.
There are no complaints about cleaning.
Overall I can recommend this hotel in Vienna, especially if you are planning to travel around Europe by train.

Stayed in January 2015.
Good location, near tram stop and railway station. To the center on a tram 7-10 min. I got a huge room, cleaned every day.
The breakfasts could be made more varied. No kettle in room.

The hotel is very nice and quiet although we are on a great Avenue. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel. The location is relatively convenient. And although the hotel is not on a quiet street, in the room good soundproofing, no extraneous noise is not audible (our room overlooked the road). Comfortable bed, mattress and pillows! Very clean! Nice staff. Good breakfast. )

Lovely small quiet clean hotel. Had everything you could want except tea and coffee facilities in the room. Close to tube station and 3stops into city. Would take about 30 minutes to walk in.

Good hotel with good value for money. Close to the central station of Vienna (easily reachable from the airport by train) is close to the metro line U1 with which you can move very well to the main attractions of the city. In less than 10 minutes on foot you can also reach the Belvedere. So very good location.
Decent rooms, definitely not great (TV old and not well functioning, for example) but not bad and still comfortable (nice and clean bathroom and bed in which I slept well) in general then the hotel environment is nice. Breakfast not super plentiful but OK. Well-functioning Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. In General I would recommend it, especially for those who have to visit the city for a few days.

I have been to this hotel several times and have always been very satisfied. It is an older building, but the hotel has been constantly renovated. The rooms were great with soundproof windows, good mattresses, enough outlets and slip-resistant bathtubs. The only downside is the old tube TVs.
The breakfast buffet is excellent and the staff strives to meet all the needs of the guests!
Finally, the good value for money and the close location to the central station are mentioned.

However, the small tube televisions come in modest picture quality and little program selection already very antique over.

Despite its pompous entrance hall the room furniture is a little worn down. The television is a relict from the 80s (unusable — causes headaches). And the bathroom could have been cleaner. Other than that the stay was quite enjoyable. You don't get much noise from the road or station thanks to the tightly shutting double glass windows but still have the comfort of staying only a 5min walk from the main station where you can hop into metro U1 to start your city trip. Breakfast is nothing special but really more than ok for a hotel breakfast at just 6.90€.

The price was perfect. Good location. The breakfast is also very good.

Small room. Rated at four star does not achieve two. Antique TV grainy picture. No tea or coffee making facilities. Had bar but ran out of basics. Charged €4 for small bottle of water. Most hotels give one free. Bathroom and shower good. Cannot recommend.

Comfortable hotel, well located. Very good breakfast. The furniture is a bit old and in the room I was, the carpet was a little stained.

Hotel has a good location… opposite the main train station… could need some fresh pep… one is quick in downtown… breakfast is ok…

Great deal for the price. Eight floors of rooms, modern bathrooms and mini fridge in room (some; à lot of places like this have different rooms with different accommodations, some may not have en suite). Front desk are helpful and have metro cards available for sale right there as well as some other convenient services. Breakfast is free and offers a good selection, Wi-Fi is also free. Elegant atmosphere but not an insane price — overall excellent.

A comfortable stay but hotel is very dated and could do with a lot of TLC in the rooms. The reception area show the obviously very grand past to this hotel and is quite amazing. Breakfast was excellent and couldn't be faulted apart from the coffee was set out at every table and may have been sat there for some considerable time before anyone sat at a particular table. The other strange thing was that although the room had a very old fashioned colour TV all channels were in black and white. The main station was almost opposite the hotel but the city centre and attractions were a few stops away by the metro system which can be caught a few hundred yards up the road.

Top location quasi directly at Vienna Central Station — but also on the Wiedener belt, a busy road. The soundproofed windows do their duty and keep the noise outside.
The rooms are spacious and clean but no longer really up to date (e. G. Old tube TV). There could be some modernization.
Breakfast is good: everything you need and want and also the coffee tastes good:-)
The staff is always friendly and helpful.
All in all a good hotel, although I would classify this hotel in a 3 star rather than a 4 star category.

Very nice place to stay. Main train station is walkable distance from hotel.

I made a reservation for this hotel at least a month ago, but when we arrive at the hotel the reception guy said "all of the rooms are fully booked". Please be careful, for this hotel, the reservation was totally meaningless. Anyway, they booked the other hotel as an alternative way, but it is hard to forget the panic I felt.

Don't pay mine from the outside. But clean.

Hotel in line with our expectations to spend a weekend in Vienna. Dilapidated exterior contrasting with the correct and clean interior. Close to all public transport.

A little Baroque hotel in the lobby. Personal helpful. English mandatory. A little warm in the rooms. Breakfast is not at the level of the rest of the hotel.

Very nice value historic hotel across main train station. Rooms are clean and very well maintained. Free Buffet is great with a lot of choice for breakfast. Small bar to get coffee or drink on the ground floor. Free WiFI works great. We had a room with two balconies. Double doors to outside, so it is very quite. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very close to the train station. The area is not central but the staff is the service they offer are of excellent quality.

Air conditioning! Very important if they catch you in Vienna, a heat wave of 40 degrees. Breakfast discreet. Comfortable rooms. Very close to station train and underground.

It has air conditioning, less thing normal for these sites it should. Clean and with good beds. Without odd noises. The breakfast buffet a bit limited.

Saving that one day it shot the fire alarm at 2 am and we had to leave the hotel, the rest is waiting for the hotel category. It is advisable to. Very close to the train station, you can walk with your luggage without a problem.

The hotel is located 3 minutes walk from the train station in Vienna and another 3 minutes from the nearest metro stop, where you can take line 1 (the red one) and stand in The Center of the city in less than 15min away and is 5min from Belvedere Palace and you have the tram at the door to move to places where the metro does not reach. Vamos… de location, without being The Center, is great. In the hotel the first impression is very good, in reception and take care of us kindly and give us a lot of welcome with a map of the city for each one, a couple of brochures of Tour in the city, and we answer all questions with a smile on the face, there you can buy your Vienna card or a Vienna pass (valued well if you're going to catch it or not before you arrive). After the check give us the room "before time" because that was already free, and we found a room which, though small, is well accommodated and have adequate furnishings and relatively renovated (the only thing which is distinct is to tv, that is "ass" but we have not come to Vienna to watch TV xD). The bathroom has a shower that goes perfectly and a hairdryer. The room has a safe in the wardrobe (which by the way smells wonderful inside) and fridge. You have a thermostat in the room and the heating works very well.

Compared to the non-positive reviews I had read before I left, I was positively impressed by the general good maintenance of the hotel and the rooms and the kindness of the staff. The breakfast is more than dignified, although the lovers of sweets will be a little disappointed.

Es ist wundervoll das Zimmer ist großartig mit Fernseher Telefon sogar mit einem Schreibtisch. Im Badezimmer sind zusätzlich noch Föhn, Zahnbürsten, Rasierapparat und alles was man für die Körperpflege braucht (bis auf deo).

Clean, staff very helpful. It's a little off the beaten track, bit it's only a couple of minutes from U2 metro (then 2 stops to karlsplatz). It's also just across the road from the main train station for day trips to Bratislava (1hr by train).

What a great hotel! Directly at the central station, nice rooms, clean and not that small (I stayed at a 1 person room, could have been big enough for two), good and clean bathroom, great breakfast (buffet, if you're not satisfied and taken enough energy for a walk in the city then it is your own fault, hey, they even serve it from 6:30 till 10:00! ), friendly staff (I needed to print something out, was in total several pages and it was all for free), good Wi-Fi connection, TV with several channels if you get bored (I don't know how you can do that iv Vienna but ok) and that all for a great price! Any negative points after such an optimism?! YES, they don't have a swimming pool with a subtropical water paradise including swimming with dolphins and manta rays… ;-)

A minute from the central train station and 7 minutes from the historic center. Clean and quiet. Recommended.

Just spent 4 nights there, friendly staff and felt safe, 8 floors with stairs and two lifts, well located for easy access to main railway station and tube lines, would stay again.

Extremely pleasant stay at Hotel Prinz Eugen between August 20th and August 25th, 2015. Besides the good location (close to Belvedere, Hauptbahnhof, walking distance from Karlsplatz and Staatsoper), the value of this hotel is its personnel, very professional, polite, courteous, helpful in all situations. I would like to express my thanks to everyone, from the Reception teams, to room cleaning ladies and the restaurant staff, making my experience at Hotel Prinz Eugen so enjoyable!

Good price. Very near the main train station (5 min walk). Rooms are comfortable and have AC. My room also had a small fridge. Wifi available, but slow in the morning and eavening when most are back in their rooms. Also close to the metro which will take you most places in Vienna. Only downside is that the door from the room to the hall is not very well sound isolated, so there can be some noise if people are returning late, but this wasn't a problem when I stayed.

Good location near the main bus terminal. The staff was helpful when looking for directions for sights or ideas of things to do. The view was amazing from the top floor overlooking Vienna.

The hotel is quite far from the Center (where, incidentally, can be reached on foot or by tram), but next to the amazing Park Belvedere. Near train station, where trains arrive from the airport.

My wife and I were satisfied next time will choose this hotel.

I was satisfied for what I was provided for my money. I recommend this hotel even it might be in rush enviroment and for some there might be little problems with parking. For me it was very good experience.

Hotel Prinz Eugen it's not deserve just nice or good compliments it's superb place in cheap price and location is awesome near to hauptbahnof train station and belvedere also near to center of vienna.

Everything was good, suitable location near palace and metro station, good breakfast and friendly personnel. However, hotel is a bit old-fashioned and needs little redecorating and repair. Still price-performance ratio is very good for Vienna.

Very near to Haptbahnhof which is useful. Receptionists were helpful in some way. Bathroom didn't had curtains for the Bathtub and whenever you take bath, the water spill out on floor. Wi-Fi was not working at room in one day.

Quite place, very clean and good option for the car park in the streets around the hotel. Very close to the city center, only two stops by metro. If I come back to Wien in the future I will not doubt to repeat the experience here.

I come to Vienna regularly and have tried a number of hotels for these short stays. This was my second stay and I have already booked in advance for my next trip, getting a very favorable price for planning ahead. The fact that I am becoming a regular should say enough in itself. I come from the south, so now that all the Südbahn trains go through to the Hauptbahnhof, this hotel is especially convenient. I only hope that prices will not go up now that the Hauptbahnhof is fully operative. It would be nice to have a flat-screen TV but that is only a minor concern and I am sure it will be remedied in time. What is more important to me is that WLAN is free and works well. I am perfectly satisfied with service and cleanliness, and the breakfast is also satisfactory.

We have sleepless nites for 5 nights; the room was quite warm and AC is not working because the front desk said it was too cold to operate the AC. Therefore we have to open the door which was facing the main thorough fare — it was really noisy. We did not think about it, but could have requested for a room change. The reception staff were really helpful and accommodating except for that one Asian girl who was sort of abrupt, we dealt with her twice and the same attitude. The first encounter we thought, maybe she was just tired or have a bad day, but next day, the same attitude. It was disappointing because all the ladies were really nice. The location is great for people who don't mind traveling and taking trams and trains. Easy access to public transport. The breakfast was excellent, too many choices. The service staff worked hard and keep replenishing the food on the table.

I've been very happy with the value for money in the Prinz Eugen. The room is very good, the service as well.
A very late arrival can cause parking problems.
In any case, I would recommend the hotel.

Remained it is very happy: atmosphere, breakfast, cleaning, location very close to the Metro and train station are all excellent. The only minus is very noisy on the street, it is impossible to sleep with open Windows. Oh and a view of the construction site.

Wonderful location-right next to the Belvedere. On one side of the courtyard, on the other hand, broad Street, but the soundproofing is a wonderful — it is very important for me. Rooms are not big, but very comfortable. An excellent breakfast. Cons — only the absence of private parking, to the nearest 10 minutes on foot.

It is a classic Spanish 3 star hotel. Too expensive for the q offers. Some friendly staff members and other disrespectful. The Wi-fi of payment and free 30 min in the lobby.
