First time finally managed to stay overnight, nice room, good staff, only checkout was understaffed with only one person on Saturday, the lady was very eager and very friendly, she could not do anything for the long wait, that should be covered… We still like to come back!

Great place with very friendly staff! Everything very clean. The breakfast tip top! The connection to the main station is brilliant! We enjoyed it very much with you and will be back!

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. They are a disgrace. I am in the UK and all flights are grounded so I can’t travel to Vienna. The government has advised against all travel. The hotel has even CLOSED because of Coronavirus. Yet they still won’t refund me my money. They have “upgraded me” to another hotel that they own. I did not AGREE to an upgrade, I did not agree to a change of hotel. They have refused point blank to refund me my money. I booked this hotel. The hotel is now closed. I want my money back.

Just across the road from the railway station. Good value, but the rooms are quite small.

The hotel is a step from Vienna Hauptbahnhof. Location and price is good. Breakfast spread is also good.

I recommend the IBIS hotels, because they often chose Amsterdam (2014), Lodz (2016), Vienna (2017), Geneva (2018) and again in Vienna in 2018. Just come up with Wien-Hbh and go across the street. As always, all perfect for relaxing after a day of travel. All tastefully. Clean, polite staff, near metro, trams and buses. The great hall for Breakfast. The Breakfast is varied and tasty. There is a large selection. Three types of honey, an independent machine for baking waffles, three machines (a lot of people and no queues). Near the square are several restaurants where you can have lunch and dinner. Yes, actually on the station too many cafes.

The Ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof is a typical Ibis hotel. The staff are mostly very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and generally quiet except when nearby rooms allow their doors to slam. The shower was unable to sustain a consistent temperature, swinging from scalding to icy over and over. When I asked a second time for something to be done a technician came, tested the shower and told me that it was a common problem that lots of rooms had due to pumps in the hotel which he said wouldn't be fixed. Reception offered to move me but given it was a losing lottery I declined — repacking and unpacking for a not-guaranteed result seemed pointless. They were happy to provide umbrellas on request, which was very helpful. Don't ask me about the restaurant in the attached Novotel. Just. Don't.

Good facility, we like it, staffs look like new or trainee but they are helpful and caring. The only problem we were faced as in front of our window, there was an office building which breaks privacy as rooms did not have any net-curtains. Hotel need to think about that as its major concern.

The rooms are fresh and modern, and generally very clean. However, as with most hotels these days the pillows are just terrible so I couldn't get a good night's sleep. Also the air ventilation system is very loud, not to mention the lights on the control panel being very bright, so if you're like me and like a dark silent room to sleep in you may want to go elsewhere. Last but not least, I am convinced that there were some sort of bugs in the room as I woke up with bites and very itchy. As for the location, it is right next to Hauptbahnhof so it's good for those travelling.

Awesome stay. Asked for a late check out received it ✔ even though it cost €15 at the end which I wasn't told at the start it was worth it. Power points and USB chargers installed right next to the bed. ✔ Close to train station✔ Friendly service ✔ Great room ✔ Great TV and channels✔ Excellent toilet/shower✔ Excellent water pressure in shower✔ No bar or restaurant❌ the one 20 meters next door is excellent. When leaving the train station leave via the food court near Hungry Jack's instead of going out the front. Will save you several hundred meters.

Great location. Near public transit, the train station and the airport. Near the city center; shopping nearby. Really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.

Great value for its room. Hygiene is fine. Location is not good because surrounded by construction work and dusts are everywhere. Not sure if the value define its service. Ask for toothpaste and they replied “You could pick it up yourself if you want to” great solution for early morning hassle. Another thing is the front desk receptionist confidently denied my 10% discount on breakfast from my ibis business card, yet and I had to insist that it’s my privilege from that card. After the manager appeared and the problem solve right away.

Very good Hotel. I really like also is a clean Hotel. Food from the Buffet is very fresh and the guests have a lot of varieties and different food.

Definitely not ready for prime time. This new hotel has a hot water system that could not keep up with full occupancy. Showers in our room and that of our friends ran hot and the flashed to freezing cold. Air conditioning system was inoperable on our floor. It took a full day before the supervisor discovered the fault was in the central controls.
Reception staff began by telling us that there was no problem (hot water preset to 37 degrees and AC regulated by outside temp) then sending a technician who could not solve the problems. Frankly, they seemed as unprepared as was the infrastructure. Simply not ready to be open for paying customers.
