Very nice staff at the reception and also otherwise very familiar — quiet rooms — good breakfast — close to all attractions — always again.

We have stayed at the hotel for 4 nights after reading great reviews about it. Unfortunately, as a gay couple we suffered from an offensive behavior from two of the hotel's employees that were giggling and mumbling in their language about us every single time we passed by the reception desk on our way to breakfast or outside and laughing behind our backs (there are plenty mirrors on the lobby so we saw EVERYTHING). This is why, their service wasn't warm and friendly to us – one of the employees was cursing in foreign language after we asked for help in the room with an hairdryer. We informed the hotel manager at the end of our vacation (we did tell one of the employees about it during our stay and were told the manager will be informed but he wasn't). The hotel manager seems to take our complaint seriously and talked with us on the phone and apologized, and we appreciate that. However, it is important for us to put this kind of behavior on the spotlight in our review about staying at the hotel so it will never happen ever again. Therefore, if you are a member of the LGBT community, we are not so sure this hotel will be gay-friendly enough for you and cannot recommend it due to our experience.
Besides that, the breakfast was excellent and every day was a different menu (for my opinion, pancakes should be offered daily) and the dining room staff are very friendly and with high standard of service. The cleaning was also very high standard – the room was extremely clean.

Simply fabulous hotel and staff. 5 mins walk from all the touristy things. Cocktails are superb and lovely bar suppers too. Thoroughly recommend.

Great location out of the hubbub of downtown area. Walking distance to everything. Close to a great outdoor market Walkable to shopping areas and st Stephen church for tours. We were there for Christmas markets and could walk to all of it. Lovely hotel, room was beautiful very comfortable breakfast was varied and enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Close to Karlsplatz subway and loads of things to do close by.

Great hotel in a quiet street, but near the center! Walking distance and opera 5 min and Hofburg 10 mins and Belvedere 15 min. Lovely suite and service at a high level. Very friendly staff!

Very nice rooms with tasteful furnishings, a lot of light, very good sound insulation. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and is included in the price. Many beautiful details: The pictures in the spacious stairwell and old photos on the wall. The staff is friendly and helpful. We really had nothing wrong.

Second stay in this wonderful hotel and city. Booked a Romantic room which cost a little more but worth it. Amazing breakfast buffet. Hotel really well located for a city break. Quiet area but close to all transport facilities. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room comfortable, spacious and clean, and the bar & breakfast room relaxing and stylishly decorated. The buffet breakfast was really good. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Our family had a wonderful time in Vienna and it was all thanks to a restful nights sleep at the Kaiserhof. If we needed anything the staff was so willing to help out, they treated us like family. The rooms were clean and food was outstanding. This hotel made this trip. Thank you!.

Very elegantly furnished. The service is very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast leaves little to be desired, but the scrambled eggs are made of a ready mix. Unfortunately, the heating cannot be regulated in the rooms. For this, you have to report to the reception, which can then regulate the heating. Then the bathroom and the sleeping room are heated. An individual temperature control would be more pleasant. My mattress had a hollow. I found the Pillow menu very good, where you can choose your preferred pillow.

We had a lovely stay here, very friendly staff, comfortable, clean and warm. Excellent breakfast choice. Helped us celebrate our birthdays too with cake and sparkling wine! Would highly recommend. Easy to get to the city centre by walking or tram stop just down the road.

What a fabulous hotel this is. Staff are so friendly and offered us a free upgrade on arrival. We stayed for 5 nights to celebrate a 'big' birthday and was so thrilled when a member of staff knocked on our door and presented us with a birthday cake. What a lovely thing to do. The location of this hotel is excellent and close to everything that Vienna has to offer. The city centre itself is a very pleasant 25 mins walk whilst the underground is less than 5 minutes away. Breakfast is one of the best we have ever had and the staff are so friendly and happy. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Thanks also for the small leaving gift.

Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Rooms are big compared to usual European hotels. Great service! Staff is very responsive! Buffet is good too!

Wonderful experience in Vienna. Perfect location, great rooms, 5 star service and best breakfast in the city. The Kaiserhof was the perfect location for a short holiday with my wife. From check-in until check-out, we had a top quality experience. Although we arrived late, and the bar was full, bartender Sanjay prepared us a great meal! Try the club sandwich, the man knows what he is doing. … In the morning, we met Federico at the buffet. He made every breakfast special. The whole restaurant staff was wonderful. And the food was over the top. It is the best breakfast we've had in Europe. The room was very nice, large and comfortable. The bathroom was above average for European hotels. The bed was ok, although it might be a bit low on the ground for some. Wifi signal was weak sometimes in our corner room, was not a big issue since it was a leisure trip. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel. I was made to feel welcome from the moment that I arrived. The room is comfortable and quiet with everything that you need and more to make your stay a good experience. The hotel is a short walk from the historical centre and Metro station.

It's well located, 10 to 15 minutes walk from all the main attractions. Our room was elegant, comfortable and quiet at night. Breakfast was good with great coffee. Fantastic hotel, located a few meters from the Karlplatz, just 6 minutes from the Opera. Great cleaning service, very good breakfast. Your only issue to improve, the bandwidth of the Wi-Fi.

Property as such is good. Beware of the guy who mans the reception (don't recollect the name) — stinking racist attitude and zero decency (came right inside the room at the pretext of fixing a telephone line, without even bothering to ask for permission or whether the family inside is ok)

Quiet location, 7 minutes walk from Karlsplatz. Lovely staff. Superb buffet breakfast. We upgraded to a Romantic room which was lovely. We would definitely stay again if in Vienna. Recommended.

Nice hotel, beautiful town.

So, in the first night the heating didn't work at all. Then they fix it and there were around 30 degrees in the room. We called the reception every night to cool down but it was impossible. It is not acceptable that a 4 stars hotel doesn't have the possibility to adjust the heating! And then, the great finale, at checkout was Ms Corrine who's rudeness is legendary. Really, you should get rid of her. She's out of the picture.

I stayed 4 days in here. Very nice about all. Facility, employees, food, room clean, traffic and so. Anyway I felt very satisfied.
