QT Perth

We stayed here on two separate nights in two different rooms. One had a bathtub and the other room had a double shower which was extremely efficient traveling with my daughter:) The room itself is decorated and painted in darf colors which gave a cool vibe but it provides a stage for dust and is incredible difficult for putting on makeup (I had to use the light of my phone). I loved though that a Dyson was provided. The view from the large windows were incredible and we loved that it is located directly in the CBD. I would stay here again.
We didn’t have breakfast there, partly because the (otherwise really nice) ladies at reception told us different versions of what the breakfast would cost: buffet with full price for children, a la carte order and on two days later it was half price for children…I personally think operational processes are the weak spot at the QT Perth.

The hotel itself was physically very nice but our experience was ruined by a couple of experiences there.
Firstly our physical arrival was extremely difficult due to the operations of a large mobile crane on the street outside, which caused the street itself to be blocked off at either end. I understand of course that this was outside the hotels control but no effort had been made to tell us via email or text about the obstruction and that we could approach the barrier to be let through. We drove around the block to find the other end of the street was also blocked, and had to find interim parking on a nearby street and walk to the hotel to see what the situation was. The concierge lady (very nice and friendly to be fair) advised me how to get through the barrier and where to stop for valet parking, which we did.
Checkin was routine (although the check-in lady didn't exactly exude a warm welcome). In the room there was a welcoming gift as I had said it was a special occasion for us which was a very thoughtful touch. The room itself was very nice.
We had dinner in-house which was nice but well on the expensive side. No one dines in-house in a quality hotel restaurant expecting a cheap meal but charging $38 for a single glass of Rosé seems pretty steep. We went upstairs to the rooftop bar after dinner to settle in for the evening.
This bar was pretty much the main reason I had chosen the hotel as it had received positive reviews with a good vibe.

The staff were amazing and so friendly. The food was delicious and didn't take too long to arrive with room service.
The rooms are a little dated and dark. With the curtains open and lights on it was still very dark during the day making it hard to get ready and do makeup. Some of the surfaces are very scratched and worn looking, otherwise a very clean and comfortable room.

Had a fantastic stay at QT Perth. The hotel has such a stylish and modern vibe, with really unique interior design that makes the whole experience feel special. The room was super comfortable, clean, and well thought out. Staff were friendly and professional, always happy to help. The location is also perfect, right in the city. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at QT Perth and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooftop bar was definitely a highlight of our stay.
We were celebrating our anniversary, and the team made the occasion feel special by having a bottle of bubbles waiting for us on arrival, which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
That said, for the price point, I don't feel it delivers a true luxury hotel experience. The towels and bedding felt quite basic and lacked the quality and comfort you'd expect from a premium stay, which impacted the overall feel of the room.
There were also a few small details that made a difference. The bathroom lighting was very dim, making it difficult to get ready, there was no makeup mirror, and the amenities felt fairly standard rather than high-end.
While we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the service, location, and thoughtful anniversary gesture, I personally wouldn't pay the same rate again as I don't feel the overall experience matched the cost. A comfortable and enjoyable hotel, but not one I'd place in the luxury category.

My experience sums up this venue as Opulent — Service on point. Thank you Maria for the easy seamless stress free check at customer care service desk. Maria professional proficient and memorable. The rooms on Point clean (we were great full for 2 beautiful rooms with bath tubs) meticulous accessible and home away from home. We had drinks at the QT Roof top. Service by staff both by QR or front facing impeccable. Love the arvo vibes drinks after work the sun beaming into the atrium cocktails vibing as the sun went down and became a mirage. The soft music vibes of the DJ colourful cocktails mirrors delish finger food. Lets go to the room. It was you inviting me into your home. I wasnt just a guest I was the most important person In the world and the rooms are a reflection of who you are as a collective delivery high end quality and service. To those small touches… the dyson… the designer room spray candles and bath bomb (I bought the room spray) as a reminder of interior decadence. The room itself and bathroom functional and well designed the well equipped bar featuring Australian made and coffee machine to the Bose speaker. Room the bed/pillow throws super comfy and spotless. I felt so guilty and made my bed cleaned as I went — truly home away from home. Thank you.

We have always loved coming to the QT for a staycation. The room was very clean, luxurious, and perfect for a couple! Maria was a very lovely receptionist/host. Only things that could have made it better would be a small gift/drink for my birthday upon arrival! We also couldn’t get the chrome cast to work.

I recently stayed at the QT hotel in Perth for 13 nights whilst visiting friends in Perth. It became like a very comfortable second home. It is a modern boutique hotel in a great central location within walking distance of most of Perth’s main attractions. The rooms are extremely well equipped and have great showers!. The rooftop bar is a nice place for an early evening cocktail but the only area for slight criticism is the Santini Grill. Frustratingly this was closed on 3 consecutive nights over the public holiday weekend which was inconvenient, especially on the 3rd night when I had invited friends to dine with and it was closed for a private function. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated to residents. The quality of the food was also variable. On one night I had probably the best seafood Linguine I have ever had, whilst on another night the Lasagne was burnt on the outside and cold in the middle. Overall though, these are small criticisms. I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would definitely return.

Amazing hotel. Service from the QT Perth team was top notch. Amazing attention to detail (especially from the night team). Rooms and views are phenomenal… also centrally located to all the main CBD attractions in Perth. The deep bath and two different types of shower options (with rain shower), were a delight. Will definitely return… next time for a holiday (not a conference). Can't fault this hotel at all. From a very happy EVT Member :)

Stayed at QT Perth expecting a 5-star dining experience and unfortunately received a 2-star meal.
Steak was cold, undercooked and chewy. Broccolini tasted earthy and unseasoned with no flavour. Fries were the only redeeming part — at least they were crunchy (even if cold).
For a hotel that markets itself as premium, the food quality and temperature were extremely disappointing.
Would not order again unless quality control improves significantly.

Location is great. Cultural issue with the staff in that they have checked out on delivering for guests. The hotel is not performing at a 5 star level, made a simple request a breakfast, too difficult for the kitchen. Too busy to butter toast! The room service link doesn’t let checkout unless you call reception who don’t answer the phone, and cleaning staff left bath dirty and didn’t replace certain linen items. It’s not a pleasant one night stay, management needs to address their culture. Try alternatives imo.

Stayed at QT Perth for a work trip and it was exactly what you want when you’re travelling for business — easy, comfortable and quietly high quality.
The location makes life simple; everything in the CBD is a short walk, so there’s no rushing around between meetings.
The room was spotless, modern and genuinely quiet, which isn’t always the case in the city. Great bed, good workspace and a space that makes it easy to reset at the end of a long day.
The staff were consistently friendly and professional without ever feeling over the top — just helpful, welcoming and good at what they do.
It’s one of those hotels where everything works the way it should. I’d happily stay again next time I’m in Perth.

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at and I have been all around the country for work. I definitely recommend it, do yourself a favour and book. The staff were outstanding and the pools, the location, and the rooms. Best hotel, I recommend all my family and friends about it and they agreed with me!

Absolutely perfect stay from start to finish! Staff were amazing across all areas and notably friendly. The room was clean and the food was phenomenal. It was a birthday stay for me and the staff in the restaurant took the time to celebrate with a special dessert. I travel quite a bit and rate this as probably one of, if not my top stay. Would recommend highly.

This is a fantastic place to stay, right in the city. The room was so well laid out and the deep bath and large shower head was delightfully enjoyable.
Front desk checking staff were very helpful.
Highly recommend it!

This review is written by someone who was involved in opening a Boutique Hotel in London 12 years ago.
The QT is definitely a Boutique Hotel, so it’s a mistake to compare it with 5 star hotels in Perth or anywhere else in the world for that matter. Boutique Hotels are Boutique Hotels.
So how does this one fare? The internal design is outstanding. The darkness inside is in perfect contrast with the brightness outside. Rooms are well appointed, beds extremely comfortable and showers amazing. Of course, there’s not enough cupboard space, but this is a Boutique Hotel! Housekeeping is spot on.
Food & Beverage is excellent. Roof Top Bar – noisy and loud. Santini Bar — stunningly designed and peaceful. Breakfast is an unconventional joy. The Eggs Benedict is one of the best I’ve tasted for many years. Dinner in the Santini Restaurant has a varied menu with a fine wine list – check out the Tuna Tartare, it’s absolutely delicious.
We stayed just before Christmas and were disappointed that some of the public/residential areas were closed for private parties during our visit. Management must be aware that your residents must be catered for… they are your bread and butter. However, this would not prevent us from booking this hotel again on our next visit to Perth.
Finally, the “star” of this hotel is without doubt the assistant restaurant manager, Michelle. What a fine credit she is to this establishment. Providing a wonderful friendly and caring service throughout our 12 night stay.

Had a lovely cocktail at the rooftop bar before going to a show in the city. What a fantastic atmosphere and the staff were so friendly. Thanks to Roxanne the manager for making us feel so welcome!
