Melbourne Region Hotels with a Pool

Our 5th stay at this wonderful hotel. The view, overlooking the Yarra river, from our 21st floor room is amazing. Dinner was even more amazing, so much so that we are dining here again on our 2nd night. Mushroom linguine with garlic cream mushrooms, spinach, basil, walnuts & herb Parmesan. Saffron & Corn Risotto, with whipped mascarpone and basil. All paired with with Pikorua Sauv Blanc — bursts of Passionfruit on the nose. For dessert Torched brûlée pineapple with sorbet wafers & meringue.

Our 5th visit to Vibe Melbourne! Friendly team : Vanessa, Zac, Jasmine & Nora have always made us feel welcome. The view from the 21st floor is to die for. And as for the food …. Need we say more?

Absolutely lovely, kind, welcoming and helpful staff who made our stay at Hotel Cavalier very easy and homely. Cherie, the manager is a lovely person and nothing was too much trouble, she was so accommodating and easy going, happy to have a chat and made us feel like we had known her forever! The room was comfy, clean and very affordable and the amenities perfect. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Cavalier and if we are staying in the area we would absolutely stay again.

Great rooms with great views, and when the weather turns bad, as it has this afternoon, everything we need is all accessible in the Crown Complex without having to go outside.

A beautiful place to stay. Very clean, staff are all polite and well mannered. Mike, the bar and restaurant supervisor, was very attentive and made sure we never went hungry or thirsty and made our dining there an absolute delight!

My son and I stayed at the hotel for two weeks and really enjoyed it. The staff was amazing, everyone was so kind and helpful. Special mention to Mike, the restaurant supervisor! Oh, man! He went above and beyond every time! Amazing customer service skills, always attentive, friendly, smiley, hard worker, etc. He would be the one reason we would go back to Melbourne, Australia 😀. Thanks Mike, you are the best!

This is a very suitable for free travel visitors to live in the hotel, located next to the New Zealand Museum, just next to the China Town, a large number of rooms, many passengers, convenient location, Uber and taxis can be pick-up, the disadvantage is that the hotel is older, the room color is darker (red and black gray), price concessions, often upgrade the larger room, With a washing machine and free washing powder, next door street there is free zone tram to Southern Cross Star Train

I liked the room. It's well furnished, the kitchenette is perfect for what I need (the only thing I wish they had provided is a small mixing bowl. ) The settings were also very nice. The light switch configuration is a bit odd, but useful. The front door has a master switch, which controls all power except the front light. Then around the corner is another master switch, which also controls everything else except that front light.

A very lovely stay, very close to the CBD and public transport. The room is modern clean and spacious, with all the basic amenities. The Wi-Fi works great and there is parking available if required. My only gripe with the apartment is the very limited kitchen facilities. I made the wrong call thinking I could comfortably cook dinner in my apartment. A better electric cooktop (it's very small, and weak) and some knives that weren't dangerously blunt wouldn't go unappreciated.

Stayed in a studio. Very nice, very convenient location. Can hear the train at times, but not an issue.

Service is impeccable, from concierge to house keeping & other service staff. Location is superb with many dinning choices.

Wonderful service the kids loved the big pool and comfy beds.

On 5/07/18 my flight was 2.5hrs delayed into Melb from Sydney and I was pleasantly surprised that my room had been upgraded when I reached this place. It was great to interact with a human being at 10pm after a long afternoon of delays. I spent one night at this place so perhaps this may not be the most insightful review. The bed was comfortable, no complaints there. 4 stars because the gym facilities is outdated.

Came here for a two hour mini workshop and found it to be good. Room was good and temperature set right for the cold weather outside. Would’ve been nice to have coffee available. Parking was good and it was wheelchair friendly.

Great rooms, great amenities, and especially great staff. Management are so helpful and extremely diligent at keeping a peaceful and quiet place to stay. I was one of the people woken up by loudmouths last night and management handled the situation perfectly. Thank you.

Nice, clean and free Wi-Fi available in the apartment. Loved the hot shower. Convenient as grocery store and free tram are near by. Beautiful harbour view. But unfortunately there is no free parking for our van and had to pay $16 per day.

But not suitable to go in Summer, because of only 1 aircon. Provision in dinner room. Not suitable for HK ppl.

We spent 2 evenings there and were completely delighted. Upon checking in Megan was so helpful taking time to print up information about dinner places and bars in the area. She also informed us of the St Kilda festival that was going on and how to get there very easily. If you get a chance to stay you won’t be disappointed.
