Utterly disgusting service.

Neat & clean, really quite for a motel on a highway & the staff were exceptionally helpful.

This is the most dishonest place I've stayed. I stayed 2 nights with my Girlfriend. When we called, we where given a price for 2 nights and 2 cooked breakfasts at which we asked for a price which we thought was okay. The breakfast was not as explained half the menu wasnt available as the cook told us was uneatable, there was minimal replacement if any at the full price. The room was smelly and bathroom had water, soap, and makeup stains. On top of this we come to the part of check-out we get told, we had to pay extra for the breakfast we didn't receive.

There was a really bad smell in the bathroom.
On investigation I found a dirty pair on women's underwear an there was feces in the top of toilet reservoir. Contacted reception, they had no interest in resolving the issue.
But did allow us to shower in someone else's room before they arrived. Spoke to management in the morning, he refused to refund my money, but did offer me a can of coke for the inconvenience. … I would not recommend that anybody stays there.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn for the Supercars at Sandown. The rooms are clean and comfortable and great value for money. The restaurant on site has so many great options and is handy for a quick feed after a long day. The beds are comfortable and the shower to die for on cold Melbourne nights. Have stayed before and will definitely stay again.

Just off the main road, rooms were enough for for a work stay. Service was great seeing as we could check in at any time.

The rooms looked like recently have been renovated. Nice and comfy beds. Clean toilets except the outside didn’t look pleasing.

Ok place for the price, just a place to crash nothing too fancy. Has ample parking, but mentions sauna while booking but it's always renovating LOL.

Very cheap, big room with free Wi-Fi and T. V. Big bed, nice bathroom.

Not bad. Close to Dandenong Centre. Bus stop close by. Licensed grocer near by on David street. Better still, 2 x 19 year old Asian Escorts operate from there.

Convenient but toilets need a bit of a facelift.

Absolutely disgraceful. Stayed two nights. Other patrons yelling and being noisy till after midnight and the staff did nothing. Next night at 4am 10-12 guys all yahooing I the next room, car park and on the walkway. Rang reception and again nothing was done.
At 6.15am I went to check out and demanded a refund after 2 horrible nights. The ignorant little weasel at reception refused and was so rude. I rang the police and before I even named the motel the officer named it saying that it is the worst in Dandenong for both the kind of patrons and the trouble and for it’s rude staff. He suggested I tell everyone I know to never stay there.
After an hour of arguing with reception I have got one night refunded but I have lodged a complaint with ACCC for the other night to be refunded.

It's right next to a police station and an ambulance, at least I'll be safe.

Very good rooms we stayed there when we first arrived in Melbourne.

Room was not prepared before we went in, we were not notified in advance about a deposit and admin clerk was barely able to understand us.

Clean room, comfortable, no frills, although none were expected. Would stay again.

Location not ideal but not the worst. Outside looks worse than in. Pool was awful. Services not available on New Year's but cost gone up.

Very good hotel with free car park. Just wonder why there is no shower gel in the room :)

No complaints about the Customer Service, there ISN'T any. Appliances, fixtures & fittings are dodgy to say the least.

Receptionist greeting me as I first arrived was extremely pleasant. Highly recommended.

Spend a bit more money and go somewhere nice. The food was terrible and the service was very poor. The charge for in room coffee.

Functional accommodation. Not the most modern, but the room I stayed in was clean and tidy. Nice meals in the restaurant down stairs also.

It seamed to be clean, and the staff were friendly, that's about it… if you want something cheap and clean as in bedding, bathroom then ok, but would not eat there, meals were not great, they used an oil that was not great at all, dry reached when I took a mouthful of bacon and poached egg… wasted $23.00 on breakfast, only had toast and black coffee 2nd night had the grilled fish which was good… Pete talked me into having dessert… not good at all… chocolate mouse was may be powered lumpy chocolate custard, should have come with mixed berries and ice-cream … really won't be in a hurry to stay there again…

Most disappointed in attitude of duty manager on check out Sunday. When we went into our room we noticed a musty smell but assumed the room had been closed up. When we went to bed we closed the bathroom door, during the night when I went to the bathroom the smell was overpowering which is when I noticed the mould in the shower (needless to say I did not use the shower as I did not want to disturb the mould) When I informed the manager was told I should have called reception and someone would have come cleaned it. Really I was going to call someone in the middle of the night and wait for someone to come clean when I should be slseeping. Manager was most dismissive and only cared about extra money that I needed to pay (breakfast from the previous day — I had stayed in a different room then) Would not recommend this hotel to anyone and if it is indicative of Comfort Inn would not use them again.

Considering this is a motel, we were happy with our stay! We payed with American Express points, bonus. Concierge man on the counter gave good service, thanks. Large clean room with renovated bathroom. Some of the guests you should keep away from who stay in the downstairs smoking suites. "Have you got a smoke, mate. " Non-smoking is upstairs.

We booked in early hours of morning there was someone at the desk able to book us in. The rooms are very clean and bathroom is modern and a good size. All in all a good experience I would recommend it to anyone.

This was a last minute booking, and after reading some of the reviews was a bit worried. We were however pleaseantly surprised. Our rooms very clean, comfortable and the bathrooms were awesome. The front desk staff were very helpful and made our stay a pleasant one. We would definitely stay here again.

First of all I got to my room. Wanting to take a shower. NO running water. So being pissed off I head to watch tv. Tv flickers like its posessed, and channels dont work… Then about midnight I get a rude awakening. A whole swat team of cops (I saw 4 cars and about 15 officers) are at another room of this hotel busting the door down and arresting someone… in the morning the water is back on. Its of course sh*t brown so I let it run for 10 minutes until I realize thats actually the color of the regular water. I check out. Theres a homeless man with his pants down to his ankles asking for money the minute I walk out reception. Thinking he was gonna rob me I ran to my car to find someone had broken a glass next to my car and no one could bother cleaning it up so I kick the glass out of the way and bail out of there as fast as I can. Talk about horror story Worst night ive ever had at a comfort inn hotel. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the cleanliness was good.

Over charged room rate because of my appearance. I know this as when I questioned the rate that was the reason I was given.

Very disappointing we never received our bottle of wine we got room service and my boyfriend had a hair in his dinner we ran out of toilet paper as there was only half a roll when we checked in and then when we asked for more they told us to come and get it there was mould in the sink in the bathroom the spa had hair in it. Not ours the air conditioner didnt work and there was a distinct smell in the room wasnt pleasant we had breakfast included and werent told a hot one was extra and again a hair in my breakfast which the chef laughed at The place is very tired and needs updating I feel the cleaning staff arent doing their job our room was filthy and I wouldnt stay here again.

Our stay at the comfort inn was the biggest mistake ever. The building outside was very dirty and the guy next door had vomited outside his room and decided to just hose it which made it worst and then he and someone else were arguing outside our door at night. We were told it was buffet breakfast for $15 each and when we went there the only buffet was cereal and we could order a hot meal and if you wanted like 2 eggs you would have to pay extra for the egg. It was dark in there and musty so we didnt eat there and they wanted $200 cash deposit and before we got it back the reception guy ran to our room to see if it was ok. We will never stay there again.

Rethink your options! Find somewhere else. Had no running water for nearly 3 hrs, pool was out of order and when I went to discuss all this at reception the staff said he would have to take it up with the manager, turns out he was the manager. In the morning another member of staff told me I was one of 4 people who had the same experience with him. Totally unimpressed and unhappy.

Friendly staff, clean and modern rooms. But walls were way too thin.

October long weekend 2013. Stained carpet, cracked broken floor tiles in the bathroom, dirty toilet, stained sheets on the beds, THICK layer of dust around all the edges in the bathroom. Breakfast, we ordered cereal, muffins, yogurt and coffee. We were delivered cereal (without milk), instant coffee (already supplied for free in the room even though they have a coffee machine in the kitchen), yogurt (they got this right) and instead of the muffins we ordered, COLD BURNT RAISIN TOAST. (Almost muffins). Now for saturday night. Drug dealers in the room below us in and out all night. Apparently the staff know about this as they rent the same room to them every weekend. Then there was the group of guys that tried on both saturday and sunday nights at about 3AM to break into our room while we were trying to sleep. We told management about this and they happily did NOTHING ABOUT IT. If you value your safety, STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

We stayed there for 4 nights and where to begin? OK when we walked into the room the carpet was stained badly. Looked as though someone had leaked some liquid all through. We ordered the newspaper for the duration of our stay. It only came once and we had to ask for it each time. Not enough towels for us to wash our hair. Asked for an extra one. Each day that they serviced our room they failed to wash any cups, glasses etc. Each day we had to ask for TOILET PAPER. Milk and biscuits. The carpet was never cleaned on daily basis at all. We went to have a meal on Anzac Day and the restaurant was closed. We went once again a couple of nights later. It was very basic and ordinary. A great trip from Northern NSW spoiled by a no-star motel. Would not stay there again.

We stayed here last Sunday night, which was a very hot night. The air con in our room ran noisily and didn't cool anything. The shower also ran noisily, all night — we could not turn it off. We tried putting the shower head right up and right down — we could not stop the water from running. The paint in the bathroom was peeling quite visibly in the corner — I found this quite off-putting. I complained to the desk clerk on Monday morning and she assured me the manager would call to discuss my concerns and arrange a discount or refund. It's Friday afternoon now, and that call hasn't happened, so I just called them and asked to speak to the manager. It seems the manager isn't there again today. I wonder how many more times I will have to call.

Booked at one price and then they tried to charge more than twice that on check-in becuase it was a peak period, but this was not stated at anytime during the online booking process! Only got good service from the new reception girl the next morning when checking out 2 nights early! crap service from the restaurant as well, only go there if you want to eat frozen packet vegies as your side and be charged a fortune for them! The meal for my mother, who is on a strict mealtime and diet regimen for cancer treatment, didn't come at all, even after asking staff 4 times about it! Do NOT stay here! Obviously do not judge this book by its cover, because on the websites it looks pretty plush, but in reality it is dodgy.
