Best hostel for your stay in Melbourne. Very clean and spacious rooms with bathrooms en-suite. Everything is constantly being cleaned and quiet time is being respected.

Great hostel with a really good vibe. The place is clean, well located and the staff are friendly and helpful. Common areas are nice to meet people and relax.

I am sad about finding this hostel so late to my stay in Melbourne. It’s clean, the curtained beds give you a perfect amount of privacy and darkness so you’re actually able to sleep through the night.

Receptionists are very helpful Jodi has been lovely and very helpful, rooms are kept clean most staff are tenants and traveler, everyone is very helpful and friendly.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Very social, cozy, always clean, and familiar. Everyone makes you feel welcome when you arrive and the staff is extremely nice and helpful.

Bayside House in St Kilda is an awesome place to stay. The location is is close to the beach, public transport, cafes, and everything St Kilda has to offer.

Great location! Near the metro and easy access to the city. The beds are comfortable with modern lighting and outlets in the bunks. It’s better than most hostels anywhere.

Spent 5 months here, this place is like a home to me, would absolutely recommend to everyone.

I met wonderful people in this place, excellent atmosphere!

Great location right next to West Richmond railway station, which made it very easy to get around. The room was in excellent condition with a comfortable bed and a proper work desk.

I was in the transition of having to move out of my appartment and finding a new place. I stayed for a week. I chose Richmond private rooms because it was affordable for a long stay.

I arrived in barkly backpackers in April 2024 as a young shy 18 year old starting out at housekeeping.

What a magical hostel! Never have I ever had so many friends and so much fun in my life. Yes the accommodation isn’t amazing but the ambiance of the old building is beautiful.

We came from Cairns for the Supercross at Marvel Stadium. Booked into the Best Western but found the best hospitality with Ye at the Queen Vic.

Great location. Amazing service. Olivia was especially friendly and explained things clearly. I needed to contact them on Sunday and they were responsive and understanding.

A place to rest with an affordable price the experience of staying is related to the people staying together with you inside the hostel.

Female dormitory was clean and quiet.
Mixed dormitory quit hot and pack.
But the price per night was affordable.
Customer service also quit good.

I think it’s better than what the reviews here say.
It’s improved a lot since the first time I came here.
After a deep cleaning, there are no bed bugs, no smell, and no mold in my room.

Good place to make friends, close to the beach and many restaurants. And the reception is always ready to help you. Don't forget to go to Apartment 29 and Fith Province.

Fawkner Mansions Heritage Hotel is a charming, cozy gem that feels like stepping into a vintage home.

While some aspect of the building are on the rougher side, due to being heritage. And repairs are complicated. I have to say the customer service was impeccable the most friendly and helpful guy.

This is one of the best hostel I have been to Italy uk France. It is not a sterile International place.

Cheap & easy-going place and so were the women that stayed there!

Only the location is good. Avoid at all costs if you have a better budget.
Water temperatures in shower are very inconsistent and in a cold place like melbourne it sucks!
Rooms are too tight.

If you are easily bothered by the noice it would be ok. They are providing towel for 2$ and there is 50$ deposit for the key. The kitchen is fine and the room as well.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! It’s absolutely gorgeous. The people working there is kind, everything work perfectly. If you are just traveling as a women I extremely recommend stay in a female room.

Overall, Flinders Backpackers was a solid choice. I stayed in a private room, which was small but had everything I needed, including a TV with Netflix.
